Antares turned back to assist the senshi that helped her out once she had dusted her youma only to spot a flickering glow coming from the staff room... and the smell of smoke in the air. Instantly she climbed to her feet, blue eyes raking the space, trying to spot that distinctive purple uniform but not seeing it. "Sig," She called out in the cacophony, hugging the wall as people both order and chaos, streamed past. Where was he! "SIG!"

A coughing fit had her gasping for breath, wincing at the smoke that was making it harder and harder to see. "Not again, please not again," She practically gasped even as she tried to cover her mouth and nose with her arm.

When a hand snaked out of the darkness and started to tug her towards the door, Antares started to shake the grip off only to be stopped when a green scarf was shoved over her face. The figure became clear, it was Sig, his own face covered with his uniform's sleeves. "Come on," He yelled in her ear and tugged once again on her arm. This time she gladly went with him.

[Antares Exit to the waiting room]

---

Sig had made his way out of the staff room, using the slightly flowy sleeves of his uniform to cover his mouth from the rapidly worsening smoke . The crowd that had grown in the back area was nearly gone at this point as smoke billowed out from the room he had just vacated. He tried the backdoor first, hoping that whatever had locked them in had broken or whatever and now would let them out, but when it wasn't moving he quickly changed tactics and headed towards the front room.

He was delayed only a bit when he saw a familiar figure out of the corner of his eye. Antares was still standing there. She hadn’t moved to get out yet, so with a muttered curse Sig went to urge her to run. It took a little bit but finally he got her going, his sash thing acting as a mask for her since her uniform didn’t really have much that was useful in that sense.

Kaifeng, Squire of Saturn
Action: trying to shepherd the younger knights out of here

Oh. Oh, dear. It seemed that Kaifeng had unwittingly made the Nega-senshi in the strappy outfit feel very Called Out. Without needing to think about it, he shifted forward to position himself between the Nega-senshi and the young Page………an effort that proved somewhat other than necessary, thanks to the intervention of a different squire.

A pair of squires, even, and the one with the enormous shield did a good job.

Not that it mattered, when the Nega-senshi went running. Nor when what set her off running was smoke, and the heat of a building fire. Banishing his ghostly shades for the moment, Kaifeng tugged on the shield-Squire’s shirt. “Well done, and thanks for the save,” he said, urgency teasing into his voice despite Kaifeng’s trying to keep his voice mostly calm. “But—come on. Let’s move.”

Specifically, he meant to move the twin Squires and the young Page out of the treatment rooms, toward the nearest exit.

Eternal Sailor Mira was happy she was able to be of use in this room, but with the fire she knew it was time to go. She looked around as calm as she could and headed towards the nearest exit. She figured it was best to get out as quickly as she could. She didn't want to risk getting caught in the blaze and not be able to get to safety. She knew she had to get out of the building as soon as possible, so she made sure to move quickly. With that she raced out and made an exit.

[EXIT MIRA]

Super Sailor Osiris was so happy he was able to use his new move at least once. And honestly he felt like he brought some justice, but with that fire going, he knew he would have to bring justice somewhere else. Somewhere outside this room. Since he couldn't afford to get hurt before his final exams. He had to stay focused and make sure he was prepared. He was determined to do his best and show everyone what he could do. With a renewed sense of purpose, he set out to find his next challenge.

Bellalunae wasn't sure why her call didn't work. She figured it should have at least gotten some type of response. After all she figured most magical cats hated being called kitty. At least she had met a few negaverse ones that did, and so that was her go too. Plus she had read it in a novel and she figured it was a sure shoe in for that too. Overall it was a loss, but she didn't take it too hard. Until she sensed an order cat's signature. Now it was a quick one - it seemed like they had come and gone like the wind. Maybe her call did work after all, but as she thought about it. She noticed that a fire had begun.

The fire was small and seemed to be slowly spreading. She knew she had to act fast. She quickly looked around trying to figure out what would be her best course of action. She realized that the best course of action would be to evacuate the area as quickly as possible, as the fire could quickly and unexpectedly spread and become dangerous. As much as she hated to run, it seemed like the best option. This area didn't seem like a win or lose for either side, but part of her couldn't help but feel this fire was intentional. She quickly gathered her things and started running. She knew she had to get away before it was too late. She had a feeling that whoever was behind this knew exactly what they were doing. Was the negaverse maybe planning to gather everyone in an area? If that was the case it was smart, since the more of them. the better the chance they had to win this battle.

She quickly moved her little black paws and raced out of the room. She was careful to stay out of sight and listened carefully for any sounds of movement. She soon heard footsteps nearby and quickly made her way towards the source of the sound. She stopped in front of a door, and took a deep breath before pushing the door open.

[EXIT BELLALUNA]

Corrupt Sailor Makio was so happy she was able to make the hall poisonous, but not only that but others had noticed. She hadn't been a sailor for long, but being noticed felt good. Plus her attack really had a kick to it. After all, it was poisonous - what could be better than that? She was getting ready to attack again. She smelled something similar to smoke? Now fire that was not something she was too big a fan of. After all, petroleum and fire really don't go together well. Makio was eager to cause even more destruction, but the smell of smoke made her realize that her attack had unintended consequences. She realized that her attack hadn't set off a fire, but she wondered if she had caused it in some way or another. Either way she didn't mind it was more destruction which was always a goal. It was something she loved about being in chaos, destruction was almost always accepted. So she watched for a few moments, before she realized those flames were getting too big. She couldn't stay here - even if she did enjoy the view a bit.

Makio quickly looked around and saw the flames starting to spread. She quickly ran away, knowing that the flames would spread quickly. It was a good thing she had run away, or she would have been in serious trouble. Who knew what those flames could have done to her beautiful hair, and she wasn't even that vain but she did love her hair. AS she exited she wondered where she was heading now. She felt like she was in a dream, unable to take her eyes off the flames. She stopped in her tracks and looked back, feeling a sense of sadness and regret. She knew she could have done something to help, but she had chosen to run away instead.

Lieutenant Sodalite

Well there was no way on Earth that Sodalite was going to stick around and be consumed by flames just for the sake of trying to own the owner of this order aura. He felt comfortable enough to simply release the ankle of whomever he'd spotted underneath the treatment bed before simply walking away. Hey, he could always track this particular page down another day if it came down to needing to finish him off.

For now though he thought that since it appeared the youma had fled the flames that he could simply leave and no one would be the wiser. Only after he'd left the room he stopped to think about how he could make it harder for the page to escape. Fire is a great method of containment, he thought as he passed a burning pile of debris. Finding something to shift that pile though across the hallway though proved trickier than he thought. Finally after spotting a closet space with cleaning supplies did Sodalite quickly shift the burning debris into the middle of the hallway before whistling softly to himself.

"If they make it, they make it. Can't really do anything more short of murder ... and really, it's more fun to make it a challenge."

With that Sodalite pressed onwards to the gathered throng of people in the large waiting room.

Squire Halle of Lysithea (and Lisse, with permission!)

The attack felt a lot more impressive in a closed in area than it had out in the forest of his Wonder the night before. Halle saw the tip of Lisse's whip flash out nearby, not hitting anyone, but rather sending out an illusory unicorn that slammed into the slimy youma and turned it into dust. But that sense of victory, of accomplishing something as their powered selves, was quickly snuffed out by the smoke and calls of fire. The unicorn disappeared before anybody would really notice it. The shield was quickly gone as well, and that moment of alarm over the fact that he could have trapped people there would have him waking up in the middle of the night for weeks to come.

The horrible woman shoved past them, ahead of the rest of the people that the twins had barely time to take in. "Let's wait for a minute," Halle responded to the friendly squire. He did squat low, though, and tugged Almere's hand to do the same. His reasoning was getting trampled, or worse, attacked from behind wouldn't be any more pleasant than the fire in the other room.

He was calm though, especially after seeing the remaining youma turn to shimmering dust. "Okay, we should be good to go. I'm going to check something first, though." Of course Lisse followed, still very firm on the we are in this together mindset that was both really heartening but also maybe a little alarming in some ways. It was a lot harder to take risks when the person you most wanted to protect was right by you.

Hearing the older squire call back that the next area involved potential draining, Halle hurried up, testing the emergency exit for himself (blocked from outside) and searching for a fire extinguisher. Several larger ones had clearly been removed recently, leaving only a tiny, piddly thing to grab. If this place wasn't already burning down, and kinda evil in general, it should've been closed due to safety violations anyway.

The smoke was thick enough to have them coughing as they moved into the waiting room to regroup.

Crisium Page of the Moon

Oh it just kept getting worse. First there were youma, then there were agents and corrupt senshi, then the whole place was on fire. Why did he put himself in these situations, why did he do this?! There was no need for him to do this! He could just stay home, and go to fancy functions, and do his physics homework! Or nap! Naps would be better than this!

But here he was, because the courage bit of heart seemed to always want to help. No one could ever say that Crisium was nothing if not helpful. To a fault. Someday, someday he'd look back on this whole thing and smile fondly at fresh eyed page himself, how he put himself into these sorts of situations, and how they grew him into the knight he'd become. Someday, this event would just be a blip on all the things he'd done.

That maybe so, but in the moment? It was all Crisium could do not to scream in panic. Or shut down in panic. Or just have a whole a** panic attack in the middle of a room that WAS ON FIRE.

He glimpsed something akin to a unicorn and really he shouldn't have been surprised but Crisium wasn't having the best of days to be fair.

He really need to get out from under this bed so he could leave, damnit!

Crisium shimmied his way out from under the bed as people started moving out of the space. He slipped into the group and followed them out of the room.
