"Is this your hero?" Rex called to the crowd before attempting to one more time bring a chop down onto Avari's back. If the blow connected, Rex would attempt to press would attempt to grab and drag Avari to the corner, keeping his body pressed tight against the top rope as he went, where he would set Avari leaning up in the corner so he could continue his assault.

The crowd hurled more abuse at the monstrosity in the ring, as Avari could currently do nothing but take the abuse. The top rope moved across this chest as he was dragged towards the turnbuckle, leaving a red mark across his already welted chest.
The ref ran over and tried to intervene, to break the two with a count, but would that even stop Rex?

Rex heard the count and ignored it for the most part. Focusing on punishing Avari instead. Once the ref got to 4, Rex turned around and bore down on the ref instead, sending the man taking a couple steps back cautiously. Rex turned back to Avari and aimed to make sure that he was properly placed in the corner before walking to the opposite corner with a cocky swagger. There he turned and charged at Avari like a rhino, trying to spear Avari with a massive spear in the corner.

Avari felt punished in the corner, and looked up with his bloodied nose and torso to see the ref being walked away by Rex. With Kobra heading to the far side of the ring, the ref quickly checked on Fusion.
Boom, boom, boom..
The sound of heavy boots running across the ring caused Avari to look up, pushing the ref to the side and in, quick reactions, slip between the ropes to the apron.. leaving Rex nothing but a turnbuckle to charge in to!

The steel of the corner was unforgiving as Rex plowed into it with a full head of steam. He stayed still for a moment, before slowly starting to back up, clinging at his now pained shoulder.

The crowd erupted in to cheers as Avari dodged the incoming, and potentially devastating, spear. He looked around him as the figures loomed and shook away his fears for a moment..
Avari waited for his moment, before using some of this quick-change momentum to leap up on to the top rope, aiming to use it as leverage to catch Rex with a Flying Forearm!

Rex was out of the corner, backing up and stretching his shoulder...when a forearm connected and he was sent down to the mat in a daze. Something that certainly wasn't helped by the earlier miss in the corner.

As the forearm connected, Avari fell backwards on to the mat. He laid there for a moment, the energy needed for that move was massive at this point.. his chest was splattered with crimson now, as he breathed in deep.
A few moments passed.. and as the crowd cheered him on, Avari Fusion kipped up to his feet, to a great roar from the crowd. He turned to Rex, waiting for him to start getting up, looking to aim a Super Kick to his head!

Rex started to get up, shaking the cobwebs from his head that were gifted to him from the forearm. And then as soon as he got to a knee, a superkick connected and sent him back to the mat prompting the crowd to erupt into cheers.

Avari fell with Rex, his body wanting to rest, but he laid on top of Kobra looking to end the match with a pinfall!

Rex was down. He was dazed. As the ref started the count, the cult started to rhythmically pound on the apron, willing strength into their leader. It seemed to work as well because right before the ref's hand came down for 3, Rex got a shoulder up. He was still in this match. And worse yet, the more the cult pounded on the apron, the quicker he seemed to be recovering.

Avari groaned as Rex kicked out.. that had to be three, why wasn't it three!?
The pounding around the ring was rhythmic but frustrating, as Avari cursed.
"Shut up! Why won't you shut up!?"
Fusion rolled to the side and carefully up to a knee, then to a standing base. He looked out around ringside, and shouted out again.
"It's time to watch your monster finally defeated..."
Avari walked over to Rex, trying to pull him up towards his feet, but keep him doubled over.. getting ready for a Fusion Cutter.

Rex was grabbed and pulled to his feet. It was easy thanks to the power flowing into him from his followers. However, as Rex was being pulled up, Ramona was getting up too. She slid into the ring and as Avari got Rex where he needed him, she would attempt to quickly spin him around and spray her trademark black Poison Mist into Avari's face as payback for the kick and to appease her brother.

Avari knew this was his chance, he just needed to hit the Fusion Cutter to end the match, there weren't many who had kicked out of it. He readied himself and-
Poison Mist!
Fusion turned and almost screamed as he was blinded, the ref immediately calling for the bell. Avari dropped to his knees as he rubbed his eyes to no avail, shouting for someone to help him.

The ref tried to tend to Avari but he was quickly stood back up by Ramona who gave him the Poison Mist as well. As the ref screamed and clawed at his eyes, Rex rose and leveled the ref completely with a chokeslam. Then he looked from his followers to Avari and gave a nod. One by one, the cult entered. Each one attempted to deliver a punch or kick of their own to the blinded Avari while Rex stood back and watched the beating.
