if there's one thing you really can't prepare for, it's a headbutt. Nuke clocks Drako with one and the champion hits the mat, not braced for that particular style of comeback

Honestly, Nuke was expecting a shot back at him, but the headbutt is self-inflicting damage at the same time. He shakes his head from the impact and squints his eyes, trying to focus on his opponent.
If no blow comes back his way Fusion will move forward and attempt to take Drako in to a side headlock.

already on the mat, Drako is easy prey for the side headlock to hold him in place. It's going to take a few more moments for the Soaring Dragon to get his bearings again and he slaps the mat once in frustration that he'd gotten caught

What the fans didn't expect to see at this point, and hopefully catching Drako off guard, was Nuke taking that side headlock and slowly trying to transition it in to a cheeky sleeper hold on the mat!

Drako was already in the side headlock, it doesn't take much effort to transition it into a sleeper. The downside for Drako is one is a lot more dangerous than the other and while the fans may enjoy it, the champion is floundering to try to escape

The sleeper hold gets in!
Nuke keeps his arms nice and firm, making sure not to give Drako much to play around with here. It seems like in his absence his brought something new to his arsenal, another submission maneuver outside of his usual ankle lock.
At this point he actually tries to make a crocodile roll with the sleeper in lock, and then will face Drako away from the ref and towards the crowd for them to all see their Champion.

the situation is already dire enough for the champion, and now Nuke elects to crocodile roll him around too. the audacity of it all is too much for the champion and he needs out. Now facing away from the referee, desperate times call for desperate measures, as Drako attempts to reach up and poke Nuke in the eyes to get him off him

Nuke smirks as he turns Drako's body and face to the crowd, the camera panned right in on them and the fans looking with shock on their face, knowing that Fusion could just be seconds from victory. He called out to them,
"This is your Champion!? This is the man you all admire? This i-
Aaaaaagh!!"
Nuke immediately let go of the hold and crawled away, holding one eye with his forehead against the mat. The ref ran over, checking what was wrong.

meanwhile, the champion has a moment to catch his breath and rolls out of the ring. The reaction to his escape is mixed, but the boos can definitely be heard. The champion leans against the barricade, taking in air as much as he can now

Nuke holds his eye in pain, unwilling to move his hand away to show the ref, as he lightly pushes him aside. Getting to his feet and partly blinded, Fusion turns to try and see where Drako has got to.

Drako has had a few seconds to catch his breath but it's time to get back to the action. The champion slides back into the ring quickly and quickly attempts a short spear to Nuke

As quickly as he knows a spear can bring you down from personal experience, Nuke is struck hard in the ribs with one from Drako. It takes the wind out of him for a moment as he hits the mat, before he coughs hard and then breathes in audibly, as his lungs try to fill the lost air.

Drako didn't get the full charge into that spear, but it was enough to take his would be challenger down. Good enough for him, as he would quickly head to the top rope, then launch himself with a diving moonsault

Nuke was just getting his sense back about him after the hard-hitting spear, but looks up to see the floating body of Drako directly above him.
Bam!
Drako lands the moonsault, as Nuke bounces off the mat, the crowd jeering as Drako keeps him down!
