Caedus might have misjudged his ability to balance social obligations, though he was visibly doing his best to juggle everyone.

He nodded to Puck and seemed hopeful that things had changed--at least, for the better. Scylla was juggling a cluster of people, and for that he was grateful because it gave him a few seconds to sort his thoughts as he searched for answers for the others.

Encke’s hug wound up being something of a shield for him because he felt Castor coming, and once more his enthusiasm was tempered with budding dread. He seemed ready to avoid the Prince, and maybe obviously scanned the crowd for Pollux.

It wasn’t as if he could avoid Castor; he smiled politely, albeit briefly, to Erebus, Venice, and Myrrha. “Thank you. Yes, the call was my doing.” To Lourdes, “I will get to that soon, I promise.”

To Encke, he seemed disappointed to lose the shield of an embrace. “I am proud of you, you look very good.”

He found his mouth was dry and his brows knit with Castor’s presence, and he seemed very aware of the distance between them, and ready to step back if need be.

“Castor,” he greeted. “Just Caedus, please. I do not need formalities. I have not come alone. The others are just finishing setting up. But we will not intrude for long. Only what time it needs to handle the Negaverse. When that is handled, I am absolutely prepared to discuss with you. I have heard favorable responses to a rekindled alliance between my people and Earth. I cannot make promises alone but I am eager to build an alliance. An official one.”

Empyrean, Page of Jupiter

“I think we should give the man some space,” Empyrean told his wife, giving her a gentle tug back when she tried to lead him forward. (He did not smile at the unintended pun, but he certainly thought about it.)

It must be overwhelming for their visitor to be surrounded by so many people, even if those people might be familiar to him. Being confronted all at once could be taxing. Curious though Empyrean might be, he thought it best for them to keep their distance, let their alien guest get his bearings, and breathe.

“Calm down, darling, I’m fairly certain Oberon has been aware of this for quite some time,” he continued. “Didn’t they mention this man before? Kiddus?”

Empyrean knew that was incorrect, he simply wished to give his wife the opportunity to correct him.

Princess Ganymede

She saw Venice arrive and managed to smile again. She saw Empyrean and Paradise, too, and winced, flicking her gaze toward Oberon and Sessrumnir, hoping to catch a set of their eyes and warn them with a jerk of her head in their parents’ direction.

Ganymede would have had another smile for Folkvangr, but the question she posed brought Ganymede’s attention back to their guest.

“His name is Caedus. He helped us invade the Dark Kingdom several years ago,” Ganymede told her; she wondered if Folkvangr had been there at the time, as Erythrite. “Something tells me he might be in the mood for a repeat.”

Ganymede could not say the same for herself. With help, the opportunity might be too good to pass up, but… for all they’d accomplished last time, she wouldn’t call it a success.

And yet, if they could deal a significant blow…

The flare of another royal aura seized her attention. Ganymede looked and saw Castor, caught his eye and his nod and returned it, then watched him approach Caedus, unsure how to feel about his presence.

On the one hand, she thought it unlikely that they would get along, even after all these years, and a part of her dreaded the sight of him; on the other hand, they could use his help during the battle she felt certain would come.

In the end, she settled on some strange form of relief.

There was another familiar face still alive.

Ganymede took Valhalla’s hand and squeezed it, silently seeking his comfort and support. Agrippa arrived then, and though the polite greeting made Ganymede very aware that she stood out, she managed another smile.

“It’s wonderful to see you again, Agrippa,” Ganymede said. “With any luck, we’ll have that mystery cleared up soon. I doubt Caedus has come all this way just for a social call. I suppose you wouldn’t know him yet. Or many people here, actually. This is Valhalla, my husband, along with Ida, Folkvangr, and…” A pause when she came to the Chibi Senshi (Tachibana). “I’m sorry, I don’t think I’ve heard your name yet.”

Eternal Sailor Metis

It'd been quite a while since she'd been back to this hill. When the pull came, she'd been on a patrol with Realta, enjoying a quiet evening with her favourite feline. The sensation had perked along her spine and tingled at the back of her skull, luring her in like a child to a bakery.

It was a very sweet surprise, to be sure.

Or well, it was, after a moment of confusion. "...Rail," she murmured to the cat, pausing far from the collection of radiating energies. "What do you see behind the people?"

Down at her feet, the cat blinked, looking to where the senshi directed. "...almost missed it. Large dome. It... I couldn't even see it that well till I really looked. Huh. Couldn't have been here that long," she responded softly after a moment, long tail twitching. Metis could feel it tap against her leg. "Oh. I know that scent. It's a friend." Metis' brow rose. She'd not expected the thrill in the cat's voice. "You remember Caedus, don't you?"

She did, and Metis let out a rush of air as the two continued forward. The presence of two Royals didn't exactly escape her--their energy alone lit up the area extremely well for her--but as her guardian slipped away, Metis found herself near a small collection of people. Athalia she recognized by silhouette alone, and grinned as she moved up behind him to tap him on the shoulder. "Was hoping I'd find you here," she beamed, coming around him somewhat to better view the others near him. She recognized Pendour and smiled to Squire, though the Mars knight (Sparta) and Super Senshi (Kepler) she wasn't familiar with. Still, she offered them small waves in greeting.

She noted the distance between the group and the collection forming around Caedus and chuckled. "Have you had a chance to meet Caedus? He's very kind. I think it's been... goodness, three years now since he was last here?" She hummed as she considered that, tapping a gloved finger on her chin. "He enabled us to invade Negaspace then for a direct attack on the Negaverse. You'd have found that interesting, I think," she added, tilting her head towards Athalia. "He... is no fan of theirs, to put it lightly, for what he'd endured." The info dump was intentional--she spoke lightly, nonchalant about the whole thing. But she knew Athalia at least was new compared to those events. Even if it was only for his benefit, she gave the information she had in quick, simple terms. For anyone else around them who was also newer, well. There's your history lesson.

As it was, she looked towards the black void in a humanoid shape that she knew to be Caedus--he was outlined by everyone else's energies around him. To him, she lifted a hand and waved, though wasn't sure if he'd see her. She'd hardly been the most polite or welcoming person the first time they'd met... something she'd like to change for the better this time around, if she had a better chance to speak with him. "He isn't still wearing those rags from before, is he?" This, she shot to Athalia, frowning a bit as she recalled that tidbit. Amongst the group, though, she recognized another silhouette, and lit up anew, waving again, this time to Encke where he was near Caedus and that group.

Guardian Cat Réalta


When the scent had hit her, approaching with Metis as she'd been, Realta felt herself get a little misty-eyed. Oh she very much remembered that person. He'd been the first person she'd spoken to after awakening in the forest. She'd picked up her pace immediately, thrilled beyond reason that he was alright, and back! Nudging her girl once, she took off, slipping past large bodies and easily swerving around legs. Though the Savannah was a large cat, she was slender and swift. More than capable of maneuvering in such spaces.

Shortly though, she began to purr loudly, moving up to rub against the brown boots and sleek looking attire Caedus wore. Probably leaving lilac and black fur behind. "You look absolutely wonderful in that," she chirped, pausing briefly to look over the alien in his garb. "It is very good to see you again. Though I think now I've been here longer than you by this point," she added in a tease, in reference to their first meeting. The feline was beaming, a loud rumble of delight beside the returning ally.

Super Sailor Morgan


Morgan stifled a yawn. Her shifts often meant she was working during the time a lot of others patrolled, or at times would overlap in a way that she'd get off work, and go right into a patrol. Today? She'd gone from a shift, to sleeping a couple of hours, to being back up and running around. Her brain wasn't entirely active at this point in the evening.

But even she could feel the sudden draw from outside the city, and scowled towards it. "Oh what now," she hissed to the universe, before nodding in a huff to Arthur. "Yeah, same. Ugh, yeah. Let's go. Man, can't a night be normal in this city?" She was prickly, keeping especially close to her sister through most of the day as it was. Now on patrol, she was even more on guard.

Warily, she looked to Gwen and Hania, grateful at least that there were other people she could trust to also keep an eye on Arthur. Still, she braced herself for whatever new s**t was going to come up...

...and well, it wasn't entirely new s**t. She balked when they began to approach the crowds, finally spotting the white-haired alien she'd not seen in years. "Holy f--fidge," she rapidly amended herself, tossing in a made-up word to make up for her near blunder. She was trying to watch her mouth around her sister... "Yeah, that's Caedus," she nodded to Arthur, before looking to Gwen. "He uh... he got is into the Negaverse place so we could attack them, think they beat him up or something before that? Kinda forget but... he was on our side then, so. Might be now?"

Her mind was whirling, and considering some of her recent trips to her world... a brow quirked as she considered she was certainly overdue a chat with the alien.

"Oh. Uh. I guess they are," she said lamely in a far delayed question about the prince and princess, blinking somewhat at the lady in the extremely beautiful dress, and the guy in armour. Huh. Something to process later. Right now... Caedus. "No idea what he's doing here now, but he's looking way better than last time."

Nile fidgeted nervously. Being called, had made his stomach drop at first. The feeling quickly turned into butterflies when he realized it was something other then Chaos for once. Not to say he wasn't grateful. But being summoned by anything, had always made him nervous.

He caught the sight of trailing floors and a mix of reds and blues. He bee-lined for the source, almost crashing into it when the smaller form stopped. "Um..." He said, trying to snag Kerberos' attention. "...So... I may have forgotten to tell Lyon I was going."

Hawara, Knight of Uranus

If Hawara thought that awkward mix of feelings was going to subside anytime soon, he thought wrong. When Castor showed up, the Knight felt a wave of bitterness mixed with various other negative emotions rush over him. He maybe had a look on his face for a moment of some not-quite-distinguishable emotion. Something between being on the verge of vomiting and exasperation. It wasn't the Prince's fault...not entirely....after all, they had never actually met. But the senshi's actions with his ex would always be the defining association his brain make.

There would be some Emotional Support Baking to do when he got home. He hoped Lukas was hungry. He hoped the whole camp was hungry.

Basiluzzo, Page of Uranus

Basiluzzo had no idea what was going on, but he was willing to follow Encke to figure out what it might be. He, too, had thought it might be bad news. He'd been curious why Encke seemed to be a combination of antsy and eager, but didn't really get a chance to ask what that meant when they arrived.

Plus Encke all but abandoned him and their cat in the dust.

He shouted 'Caedus'--oh, that sounded familiar. Encke had mentioned that name a couple times before. He'd finally given the full history about that name while they were on the moon, chattering about how he had helped them successfully invade the Negaverse--as in, the actual Negaverse, he still couldn't quite wrap his head around the fact that they had an actual home called the Negaverse--before he had collected enough energy by way of his crystals to return back to his homeworld.

Homeworld.

Right.

Basiluzzo had understood conceptually that there were aliens and that they might have all been aliens in their past lives, but...

Viatrix knocked his thoughts off the rails, and he looked down at the cat suddenly in his arms with an amused if flat, "I didn't invite you."

She was a cat. Of course she just invited herself.

Encke wasn't the only person over there, though; Basiluzzo spotted quite the overwhelming amount of people, including a bunch he had never met. "There's a lot of people over there right now, Vi. Maybe we should give the poor guy some space?"

Transcended Knight Erebus of Saturn


Erebus gave a wince and how over whelmed Caedus looked as the Knight quickly realized just how many others were trying to talk to or get near the man from the stars. While he was very much interested to see what Caedus had to saw about dealing with the Negaverse, he also knew that it probably wouldn't be long before they all got addressed and answers were given and it might help things go faster if they didn't overwhelm their planets guest.

He reached over and entwined a hand with Venice's and gave a bit of a tug after Caedus gave them the smile. "Let's take a bit of a step back hmm? Where we aren't part of the crowding problem but still close enough to listen?" He suggested then let his eyes wander the crowd to see who had all shown up so far, seeing a mix of familiar and unfamiliar faces. His eyes went back to his better half and he gave Venice a smile. "Though I guess I should ask to see if you wanted to talk to someone else that might be here before they start announcing things?"

He scanned back over the crown and his eyes landed on the recently arrived Metis and a smile passed over his face. "Well it seems one family member has shown up so far." he said with a nodded towards his cousin to point her out to Venice.
