Day 60 Axolotl About an hour  I don’t wanna push any agendas so I’m not posting this to the main thread even tho I’m in on time. I’m really happy with how this one turned out because it was one of those days where the lines all did what I wanted first try. Ow O Having my right hand back helps. However, my hand is still in pain so I’m not at 100% just yet.

Day 61 Flamingo About 40 mins  This is a mess because I wanted to see if repeating tiles would work if I placed shapes at random. It uhhh works. XD;;; It’s not the cutest but I can always improve the layout some other time.

Day 62 Golden masked owl 50 mins, 40 mins   I knew from the start that the first would barely resemble stained glass but I kept going anyway. I like it but my goal was to attempt to mimic light through stained glass so I made the second. I think it worked out okay

Day 63 Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory About 40 mins  Based on the original movie: in the room where geese lay golden chocolate eggs (Veruca Salt, a bad egg, wants one). I was done... but then played with brush textures.

Day 68 Chiirex, Butterfly    Happy Birthday, Chii! No spoiler added on the butterfly drawing since I noticed that others added butterflies to their Chii drawings for her birthday and didn’t use spoilers. But the bigger take away was that they added the butterflies to her gift art so therefore.. butterflies must be okay. This is a new lily pad drawing, but I kept it similar to the first. I’ve added the first one into this post as comparison.

Day 69 Feather About an hour  I played with some watercolor brushes, learning how they worked. I really really like one of the new brushes so that was a great find

Day 74 Salmon, onion 13 mins, didn’t track   I know the lighting on the salmon nigiri makes no sense but I was just going for graphic shapes and... so done fighting an app (not Procreate). I started with the onion study. 25 brush strokes (exactly). The whole battle was fighting the art app to to the stroke I wanted. XD;;;; I lost. The bottom left was me going with my second plan of watercolor and wasn’t into it. But that all... exists.
