Solace black "Some things are better left alone" Solace followed Lavi to the mess hall and noticed it was just as large as he thought it would be,he looks around and found a place to get some drinks and he turns to the laides around him. "Do any of you want something to drink." He asks his voice was still cold but he was trying to be nice.

She was humming herself as she got some food. She saw some other people were in there, but didn't want to bother them if they were busy. She got a salad and some tea and went to a table to sit and eat. "I hope the food is good..." Leaf emerged from her bag and looked at the salad. He sniffed it and retched a bit. The mess hall didn't seem very far from where they were. The place was big and smelled of food. It might be a good place to eat but she rather eat off-campus, it was college after all. That or find a kitchen she could use. Her parents didn't understand why she liked cooking, it's a servents job is what they always say.
As she was looking around Solace offered to get everyone a drink, "Some Lemonaid would be nice." She didn't even see where the drink was but she smiles a bit she'll need to find where to get tea or coffee latter. Those were a must haves while studying.

Solace black "Some things are better left alone" Solace takes a mental note of what they wanted and headed off to get the drinks and after a few minutes he walks back to the group with some snacks as well and hands the drinks to who asked for them. "Here you go i got some snacks as well just encase." He says looking around before asking. "Can we get food off campus or go buy food to cook our self's."

Soltace leaves to get the drinks and when he gets back he gives her the Lemonaid that she asked for. "Thank you." She takes a sip of her drink as the others ask questions. Solace seemed to ask what she wanted to know, "I would also like to know if we can eat off-campus or if there a place that we can use to cook." She didn't really care how much the food cost or if it was free. Maybe that was more because of her background of never needing to worry about it.

The food isn't free, but it is recommended over off campus food for being most cost effective. Not to mention Headmaster doesn't like students wondering off since you're parents entrusted us with your safety. I know some of you are adults, but it's just a blanket statement leave at your own risk but you have to make sure to get a pass first.

Also you'd have to ask the chef if he'd allow you to cook in his kitchen.

The walk through the rest of the hallways was rather quick. Gelt did his best to fill the Satyr in on some of the teachers he knew, the Library, and even a few of the places around the school like the lake nearby. Most of this information he gained from simply gained from his map or from information he found. "Here we have the mess hall, they are suppose to provide good food for the staff and students and its cheaper then eating off campus supposedly." The white haired man pushed into the building the door swinging open at his touch as he gave it a push. He stepped through and held it open for the Satyr to enter. The overall appearance was well kept and things where orderly. Gelt's attention did turn to the students that seemed to occupy the mess hall. A few he picked out as the people that he had greeted out in the courtyard at the front of the school. The simple recall of information caused him to smile but he didn't reach out any form of greeting towards them as the Mage was currently occupied with having lunch with Zara who he had brought here so they could eat and he could ask a few questions.

It was a very nice place to be in and what she could see with the food, it was going to be so tasty. Where she was fun, food never looked this good before in her life. She couldn't wait. Zara sis notice the students she saw in the entry yard when she first came here but she would introduce herself to them later maybe. Right now though, she wanted food and to answer Gelt's questions.
"This place is amazing Gelt. I've never seen anything like this before. Is the food good here? Oh wait.. you're new here to aren't you so you wouldn't know. Oh well.. we can try it together. Then after we get food or whatever we can grab a table and sit."
With a smile, Zara walked her way to where the food was and looked at it all. She didn't really know what to get per se but she knew that it couldn't be any type of meat. So she just decided to order a veggie wrap and a glass of water. She knew that Gelt was probably getting something himself so she walked over to an empty table as at down. It was kind of refreshing to see the range of people there. As she ate another bite, Leaf flew into the air and buzzed around the people. To anyone paying attention, a little green ball of light was flying around and then went to sit near Lorel with a huge smile on his face. Lorel looked at him with a glare. "I try to eat a meal in peace..now aren't you proud of yourself?" Leaf giggled and flew back into her bag as Lorel was trying to continue her meal. She sighed as she chewed her food and was reading. "Hope no one thinks I'm weird because of that...I'd hate that SOMEONE didn't ruin my chance at friends." she whispered at her bag, and heard another laugh from it. she saw how many people were coming in and afraid she'd get overwhelmed again she decided to make an excuse to leave. She looked at her phone and back up to the students.

It was expected from a place like this but it was still a letdown. She took a sip from her tea as she listened to what all Lavi said and to her it sounded like the school was more of a prison than a place of learning. They could not wander off without getting a pass which made little sense to her, yeah schools were task with the care of their students but most were adults anyway.
