Location: Middle carriage Guadalupe that's a cool name, Coralynne though to herself. "It is a pleasure to meet you Gaudalupe." His name did sound to same when she said it but it was her best try. Hoping she didn't mess it up to bad she added, "My name is Coralynne."
Look out that at the pasting landscape before them, Coralynne really was excited about the what might be waiting for them in the Lost Lands. She hadn't never been there before. Actually she hadn't been really anywhere before. Sighing at the thought she turned her attention back to the conversation. " So have you seen the Lost Lands before?"

Thresh had been sleeping - or rather - trying to sleep in the overly plush bed assigned to him for the whole journey (so far), but frankly it was too hot, too stuffy and way too fluffy. He was used to sleeping on the ground, and in more esoteric locations, so overly stuffed comfort wasn't his usual, and trying to sleep when he wasn't tired wasn't exactly brilliant either. Lashing his tail once in frustration, then muffling a swear when he hit the side of the wall and made things rattle (it hurt, but that was minor and easily ignored - breaking things could be much worse). Thankfully, the thing seemed intact. He decided then that brooding and trying to sleep weren’t doing him any favours, so with a sigh he rolled out of bed and decided to head up to the roof. Hopefully at least it would be cooler there. As he headed there, he was careful to keep his limbs under control this time. The previous lapse of judgement had been juvenile. He must be better.
[First Car! Please interact with him, he's terrible but he's trying.]

Mmm her carriage had apparently gotten really cramped but it kind of made sense. A lot of people really didn’t want to be alone for a whole week. However she didn’t expect them all to try to be friendly and talk to her. She had tried it with the drinks but now she was being asked why she was coming. “ I like scary stuff. Dad is a researcher and I want to follow in his footsteps. So I guess I wanted to go on my own adventure and get my own experience. Plus if people really have died I can see their ghosts and get their stories” oíche answered trailing off at the end. She always met the fact she was a medium with mixed results but if people really had died like the rumors suggested then she wanted to explain why to some people it would appear like she was staring at thin air. Okay she had answered. Now she could stare at her book again. “ No worries. Long cramped carriage rides bring out the worst in everyone?” Yeah she probably shouldn’t have replied in a question. She wondered if she should add her name too but she didn’t want to just interject either. Oh peopling was hard.

Location: Middle carriage Coralynne lessoned to the new addition in the conversation. "A researcher for a father that must be a very exciting life." Coralynne didn't know who her mom and dad where. It was sad but she had dealt with that when she was much younger.
"Ghost are in the Lost Lands?" Coralynne asked in a somewhat excited and scared voice. She wasn't to sure on how she felt about seeing a ghost but it would have to be ok. No turning back now Coralynne you wanted adventure you got it. Her inner self said with a disapproving looking while taping her foot.

x x"Yeah, that would make sense," Saiph said mostly to themselves. They hadn't really noticed who was sitting where when they climbed the steps into the first carriage. Now they just had to hope the professor hadn't moved from her spot. Saiph also chuckled at Troy's small joke. They were a bit annoyed that Troy beat them to the next question, but what can you do. "I'm hoping help solve the case." Saiph put their hands on their hips and stand up as much as their small stature would let them. "I'm going to show just what a great detective I'll be one day."They blanched when they realized how much info they just spilled. Saiph was going to need to get a hold of their urge to boast. They relaxed their shoulders again to smile up at Troy nervously. "Um... How about you?"

Alice sits on top of the middle carriage her nose buried in a book, within a book. She didn't want anyone knowing what she was actually reading so she replaced the book cover with something more acceptable for this type of group. While the outside said Advanced Botanical Studies, the inside was one of her father's "practical" spell books. Not that she needed to know how to disguise a rock as a precious gem but he insisted. He insists on a lot of things.. including her going on this trip for his benefit. She had pulled off many a trick in her day but pretending to fit in with this lot was going to be her hardest con yet.

Troy nodded and glanced about the surprisingly crammed carriage; he hadn't counted on people rubbing elbows so closely. This could make it a problem to find Miss Honeymint but he had to be positive. Starting off an expedition like this with doubts riddling his mind was going to make it even more difficult to actually pursue the missing man. Hearing Saiph laugh a bit at his attempt to lighten the mood made him smile but he smiled even more when the fae explained what they were here for. "So you're a student? Well, this could definitely be a good learning experience...and I hope you take it seriously. Considering where we are going, this could be a hard mission."The naiad saw them turn a little sheepish, which made him laugh a little. He didn't mind the enthusiasm. "Well, I'm a member of the Coast Guard who was a little sick and tired of seeing my superiors wave this off like it was nothing. I'm not in the service just to protect the oceans I patrol; I'm here to help. It's my duty and I'm sworn to uphold it." He sounded and looked serious, his eyes glancing to the side. "I'm taking vacation time for this, so I'm not here on any real official business...but if I can help potentially save someone's life, then I'd rather take action than do nothing."

Location: Last carriage "Thank you." Devon nodded to Sierra as they took a cookie. They normally weren't too into sweets- they prefered savory things when the choice was available. However, fresh baked food was probably going to be scant in the days to come. Hopefully they wouldn't be living off freeze-dried rations or something similar. "I wish I could save I have been, but I am not very well traveled." They nodded as Tabi spoke. Her job sounded interesting, and she was certainly more personable than he was. "Which is part of the reason I came along on this. This is probably the closest thing to a vacation I've taken in years."

Last Car
Amity shifted in her seat and pulled a leg underneath her, settling for the stories. She grinned a little, shaking her head and looking over to Devon. "Me either," She added, returning her attention to Tabi. "I've heard stories about the tours, but never been myself."
"Are there any truth to the ghost stories?" She asked, leaning forward and placing her hand in her chin. "Who knows, we might run into some when we get there." She added with a grin.

Mid carriage
Noriko had been contently keeping to himself, watching as the world whizzed by in the comforts of the carriage. There was light chatter, mild bustling, groupings starting to collect together. While one used to staying still, in one place, and honing into a solitude.... his wings were starting to cramp from the days of keeping tucked and out of the way. After all, it'd be rude to extend them within the confines of the carriage....
But they were feeling rather stiff. Perhaps a light stretch could be done, if he were careful. He'd found a semi-empty spot, rolling his shoulders, and one wing at a time extending down and outwards, using his best ability to keep the natural instinct that wanted to fluff them out. Even with his most careful attempts to prevent them from getting in the way, he did give an accidental fluff of said wing, bumping it against another passenger, instantly making his slit pupils shrink even further. Quickly, his mouth parted, and a soft "My apologies!" was uttered to the fellow mutated hybrid.
Nasaiki I dunno what's happeninggg but feel free to ignore if there's too much going on, haha. """

Latros SKREEEEEEEEE'd through the air to the second carriage, landing on the roof with a THUNK in what appeared to be a well-practiced pose. Standing upright as quick as was safe, they waited a moment for their twin to make the jump as well, waving to the carriage in front of them and yelling. "COME ON SLOW POOOOOKE!"Taunting taken care of, they perked their ears up and looked around the roof of the second carriage, grinning as they spotted someone else to say hi to. A quick hop or two brought them close enough to do so, and they gave the new person a big smile that showed off their fangs, eight eyes bright and energetic. "Hey! Are you looking for the missing guy too?"Their head tilted a bit, ears flopping over as they read the cover of the book. "Is he a plant person or something?" They couldn't fathom any reason to read something right now if it didn't assist in finding the lost person. Clearly the hybrid must know something that they did not...

The peaceful sounds of the moving carriage mingled with the sounds of chatter below was shattered as some creature screeched across the sky above her. They landed firmly on the carriage with enough force shake the cabin below. It would seem it was a person. A very loud person. A person who coming this way...oh joy. Alice shifted herself as the apparent mutant approached. Well she supposed now would be a good as time as any to pretend like she cared. Why else would someone be on this caravan if not here to search for the dear doctor? That is the whole purpose of this expedition after all". As far as she knew anyways. As far as plants. If you are asking if he is a dryad, I do not know. I'm sure a visual description will be provided when we arrive.. She closed her book and sat it on her lap. I find it important to be well informed when facing the unknown. I assume you would as well considering how important this is.. She shifted her expression to a pleasant smile hoping it would appease them enough to go look for other company. It was still a ways off from their destination and she didn't want to play 20 questions for the remainder. Mauserati Alice is less than impressed

"Reeeeeeeeeeeee!" Lycos screeched as Latros soared before they could even get prepared! And they did so by gripping the edge of the railing, wriggling their bum in the air, and pushing off to leap rather gracefully through the air, landing in a crumpled, fluffy heap beside their twin. It took them a few moments to regain their composure, but they did so with a brush of the shirt, and a fluffing of the fur.
Waiting for their twin to finish talking to this new person, Lycos waited for the green-and blue..fallen? Geist? To talk. And, honestly? In one huge ear, out the other.
"Oh, oh, if they're a plant person they're probably gonna be real bright! So we can see them really easy!" Leaning forwards towards the other hybrid, Lycos gave a wide, fanged grin as they blinked their eight eyes almost too rapidly. "You sound smart, so you should know if that's right, riiiight?"

Middle Car Latros frowned at their twin as they could only watch in horror as they messed up everything, and elbowed them gently to interrupt. Dryad's weren't bright! "Hey, if the guy's a dryad it'll be harder, not easier to see him! You're thinking of fey. They're usually brightly colored and easy to chase...or spot."Still, she seemed to be pretty smart, and smiling meant friendly! Maybe they could learn a thing or two from her, until they went back to being lookout at least. They plopped down in front of her, ears perked up with interest. There must be some reason why she was reading such a complex book like that, right? "Do we need to know lots of stuff about plants then? Can I borrow your book when you're done reading it?"

To say Alice wasn't prepared for the double trouble would be an understatement. They really don't understand personal space do they? If there was a third over there she might just jump off the cart herself. She looked over her shoulder where the second mutant had come from then back to the twins. Well great... now she went and done it....they were staying. At least one of them has some common sense. Of course they wanted her book. Plants for Dummies mightve been less enticing. Perhaps they aren't as simple as she pegged them for. "You? Probably not. I wouldn't peg you two for part of the field research team. Just don't try to eat anything until its been tested." She paused trying to cold read their expressions. "You seem more like scouts. I highly doubt your mercenaries" She eyed the two. With fangs and all perhaps they could be. Regardless she wasn't letting anyone lay a finger on her fathers spell book. Not that she would hex them or anything if they did. She just wouldn't allow it. Still, she only knew stage illusions, nothing actually harmful. "Besides. This book belongs to my father and if i were to let anyone else use it he would be quite cross. The host might know more if your curious. I believe she's at the front?"
