Fang bellowed at Frea's joke. "Grape Tea to be exact!" He loved it, the logic could be applied to nearly anything. During this moment he would catch all of Frea's hidden subtle cues with her eyes. She was the cautious type, so whenever he felt the situation called for it he would try to let her thoughts guide his behavior rather than the opposite. His eyes would look to hers, then the door, indicating that they would see be leaving. That was the best option. But they wouldn't simply rush out. Not yet. Fang had some questions for this group he would like answered. They were clearly curious in the Fang and Frea, and now he wanted to know why.
Before much else happened one of the two men at the table got up and casually asked them if he could refill their drinks. He hadn't seemed to be paying much attention to them before, but it seems their business at the table was either over, or simply couldn't continue with the presence of Frea and Fang. Fang didn't suspect any foul play, the man seemed genuine, but Fang was nothing if not a damned good escape artist, and once his mind was set, there was nothing that could shake it, and taking another drink right now seemed like a poor choice. Thanks for the offer, but we were just here for this key, and a quick drink as homage to the bartender for his services." Fang shot a bright smile at the man and nodded his head in thanks. "What was your name by the way? You look to be the face of this operation." Fang said leaning back on the counter. He couldn't tell too much about the man, his appearance was impeccable, nicely dressed, clearly had a silver tongue, and was altogether calm. This was a great front-man to any operation. Likely a con artist of some sort Fang surmised.
Ghost's seemed overall unsure of them. This sent a message to Fang that he was sizing them, but not for a fight. Likely they had some operation and were looking around for some extra backup. With this sort crew, size and caliber, Fang guessed it was some big stuff. "You're damn right there! People tiptoe around in this neighborhood, and I can't fault them for it, but there are pros to meeting others who refuse to live in the light." An ironic saying for a man so tan as Fang. The newcomers would notice his skin was tight, and muscles bulging strong like an Ox. His body looked crafted, rather than grown organically. And to cap that all off he had an infectious smile. He was like pure light, compared to Ghost's darker and calmer aura of strength under strict control. Though, that was just Fang's perception of the man.
Finally the question popped up. "You know, people like you are my favorite kind, no playing games, you just ask what you want to know and that is that." Fang paused for a moment, thinking of how much he could reveal without being in trouble. Ultimately, Fang decided that the business would be appreciated. "It isn't as exciting as it sounds, I have a friend, a black market tradesman who sells rare items. Illegal items. The only way to find him is through use of one of his map keys. Usually the bar is out, this is his way of limiting guests as he's quite popular." Fang held the piece of paper up, it read 'Barnabas-Blue-6.' "If you're not too busy, you could come along. The key allows five people in at a time, and we would be right at that number if you guys joined." Being honest was sometimes the best route, especially in Phoxuria. Fang would look between the trio to see their responses. His eyes resting on the one left at the table. Was he talking to himself? Fang pondered. He seemed to be the most annoyed by the two. And a little off his rocker. Ironically, this made him the one Fang wanted to know more than the others. He would lastly turn to Frea, hoping she wasn't too uncomfortable with the situation.
tabtabFrea had hoped the interaction would end with the appearance of their new acquaintance called Ghost, but when the bartender spoke up there was a feeling that that them both were being tested. Or being drawn into a trap. Nonetheless, she remained her neutral look. "I suppose that is also correct. There's many ways to say with that logic." Based on her tone of voice, that comment was out of polite sake. She was not one to be flexible with jokes and emotions as Fang.
tabtabThe good thing in this situation was that Fang noticed her eye movement. At the corner of her eye, she could see his gaze, a hidden reply that they would be leaving soon. Good. The thought eased her tension a bit, though she remained as alert as when they walked in the bar. At the very least, knowing their next plans would be better than going in blind. It eased her into answering the next question throwing her way a little bit better, a little less robotic.
tabtab"I see." She had no opinion about his eyes. It glowed, yes, but the majority of her discomfort did not draw from his gaze. It was from the general atmosphere and the fact that her team's goal was getting a bit off track. She tried not to think about the meaning of his explanation. Attention from someone in this uncertain situation for her and Fang smelled like trouble."Thank you. I was able to buy from a travelling merchant." With some adjustments on her part for ease of wearing. Equal to the style and how the material looked, this clothing was expensive, but she had dabbled enough in haggling to get a good price.
tabtabAside from the bartender and Ghost who had spoken up, she did not miss another person a bit far away. Based on what she could infer, that other stranger would be related to the two who came and greet in a way. Her hunch proved true with Fang's next invitation to their key and the mention of five people.
tabtab Despite anticipating multiple ways of Fang dealing with the situation, her face showed brief surprise before schooling it into calmness, just in time for his attention to be on her. The two did not have enough information, so she understood Fang's choice of action. She could not offer any better way for the two to get out of this, so she would not object. While she was not in charge and did not know how to process with the situation, she trusted Fang not to be reckless to the point of their death. Dangerous waters and maybe able to be maimed, but still alive at least.
tabtabHa. How the times had changed when she became a bit more reckless in return. Not to the casual point of her teammate, at the very least. The faunus did not have the confidence, raw strength and plain confidence that Fang had.
tabtabWhen her eyes met Fang, she nodded to show her agreement. There was a lot of questions she wished to ask, but sometimes patience was a virtue, someone had said so.

✘ The Assassin ▄ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ Ghost gave a slight eyebrow raise at Fang's bellowing from Frea's quip; while amusing to follow, he wasn't quite sure it warranted a response as such. He wondered if this was a common thing from the man; at the very least, unlike his reserved companion, Ghost could slowly learn how he ticked without having to poke or prod very much. While Ghost was having trouble focusing on Frea, he was at least having a much easier time learning of Fang. Though her follow up response seemed to imply that, unlike Fang, she was of a much more...formal nature. At least for the time being; she did not seem to discourage him at the least. It was curious to see him say no to the next offered drink; Ghost wondered what the reason was as the man seemed to do so with a bright smile. 'Caution or lack of desire? Wary of us, what they have yet to do, or merely satiated...so hard to tell.' Ghost thought to himself; still not knowing Fang well enough to come up with any definitive conclusion. Fang would then do something rather surprising to Ghost; after asking Zaffre his name, he would comment that he seemed to be the face of the operation. Ghost had to hide a dark chuckle at that; 'Ah Zaffre, even among equals you always take the spotlight.' Ghost thought to himself silently. It worked well for Ghost at least; the less others assumed of himself the better. As conversation moved on and Ghost went with his approach, he kept a calm smile to his lips as he heard the response. It seems his gambit had paid off; it was something that resonated with Fang. 'Ah, the open approach works best with him. Good to know.' He noted to himself; knowing how to interact with people was vital to gaining what was desired. It also could prove useful to know he was the type that was open to meeting others; perhaps if they seemed competent enough 'One step at a time.' Ghost reminded himself. He would need to learn more of them and their abilities before he could offer much. Studying him a bit more closely, he would note the strong and tight muscles of the man on full display. Coupled with his smile, it was interesting to see such a person in Phoxuria...and having an idea of how things worked around here, given his coming to the bar and procurement of a 'map-key'.
As he was called Fang's favorite kind, he internally smirked a bit. He would mold and adapt as was needed; he loved vagueness as much as he loved bluntness. Ghost, of course, would never be fully open; just enough truth mixed in the uncertainties to make it convincing. He would not press the man as he paused; pressing would only backfire on him rather than aid his goal. He would start by saying that it was not as exciting as it sounded...before contradicting that as he explained this was part of an elaborate way to get to a black market trademan who sold rare and illicit goods...and hinted that his services were sought after enough he had to limit the amount of people he saw. 'I'm unsure if that was intentional or not.' Ghost thought to himself; it honestly could be either way. In the brief pause, he had also noted Frea's own remark to his question of her attire; claiming it was from a traveling merchant. "A shame then they don't have a permanent shop. Hopefully I shall be fortunate enough to cross paths with them in the future then." He would say with a friendly smile to her. What came as a surprise to Ghost though was what was said next; Fang was allowing them to join. Ghost couldn't help the happy smile appearing on his face at that; calm joy, but there none the less. "Thank you for having us along. I am unsure if my associate at the bar can join us, as he has a bit of business to attend to, but I would be glad to. May this be the start of a wonderful relationship." Ghost would speak in...a strangely calm excitement at the prospect. Mind racing with certain possibilities for it. His eyes, as he spoke, having been traveling between Fang and Frea to see how they would process his response; unsure if Akuryo would choose to join them for this. He also said what he had because he wanted one of them to remain behind just in case; if something were to go awry, one of them needed to be apart to ensure they wouldn't be S.O.L. He would note the nod Frea gave Fang; he assumed it was to him agreeing for the two of them. Ghost himself would await for the others of his own group to speak, with eyes resting on the duo; but primarily Frea as his eyes continued to glow. Once they had spoken their piece, he would speak again. "Seems that is is settled then. Shall we depart? I find it is always better to start earlier than later; you never know what may occur." He would offer up to the two of them as he would finally learn something of Fang's silent companion; he has unknowingly disrupted him enough that the process took longer than usual which Ghost wasn't sure counted for or against him. Regardless, he has acquired some knowledge of Frea at least; she was a survivalist. He wondered what kind of life led her to that, but the only way to find out would be to ask. For now, he was content to not broach that subject; not till he knew if they were moving on or not yet.

Fang definitely had the loudest personality in the room. Something he was used to. Everyone else was reserved or had their misgivings it seemed. Even Ghost seemed to have far more thoughts than words. Fang would turn towards the door and take a step in that direction. He felt Frea's desire to leave grow as the conversation continued. Or at least that is what he thought he was seeing. He was sympathetic to this, but it wasn't quite that time. He wanted to start on his way out though.
He smiled when he saw how Ghost looked at his friends. Hidden meaning behind their looks, but none of it seemed nefarious. Just that they were a group of friends or simply that they knew each-other a long time.
"It is about time we headed over." He said as his demeanor changed to that of one about to disembark a ship. A signal to all that he was going to leave and that this conversation was soon to end.
Ghost seemed genuinely happy to join them, and who wouldn't? A rare tradesman such as this was a joy to see. Fang's smile brightened as he slapped a hand over Ghost's shoulder and roughly and shook the man like he had known him forever. Happy to see he wanted to get there soon too. "You're gonna love this! He has all sorts of stuff! I won't spoil it for you, I remember my first time. Its magical!" Fang motioned for them all to leave, but before they exited he'd turn around to see if the other two would follow. They were clearly invited, but he understood if they didn't want to join them.
After they heard the responses of the other two in Ghost's group they would exit the bar. Fang happy to get some fresh air. It felt stuffy in there. "We're actually only here to restock up before we headed out, but couldn't resist a visit to Ryth's Workshop, he has all sorts of goods." Ghost and the others may not think much of it, or maybe they thought they were the ones gaining an advantage of some sort here, whereas the exact opposite was true in Fang's mind. Coming along with them was an act of trust. Fang could be leading them into a trap for all they knew. He had the knowledge and the power in this situation. Of course, no such thing was planned. He had been honest in the bar and he would be honest outside. Ghost did seem to want to get to know them better. "So tell us a little about yourself Ghost. Where do you hail from and what's your current mission?" Fang asked. "Frea can enlighten you about our journey if she pleases." He said giving Frea a nod to let her know he trusted her decision on how much to reveal.
tabtabFrea was not surprised when the other two spoke up, being in Ghost's circle of acquaintances, or perhaps friends. They seemed to understand each other well, through subtle glances or actions that she could see. Despite learning to understand people's hidden motives better through her merchant trade, she was not proficient at it. Funnily, it worked especially well with her intuition when it involved something dangerous or life-threatening. Currently, no one seemed to have hostile or nefarious intentions, as far as she could tell. The reaction to Fang's invitation seemed positive, so at least there was not going to be a fight soon.
tabtab"It is indeed a shame. I do wish you luck. However, there is a variety of goods many merchants provided. I'm certain that you would be able to find what you need." She did not return his friendly smile, but her facial expression softened with her response. With that, the group was heading out, led by Fang.
tabtabShe hung behind Fang a little as she watched him interacted with Ghost, chatting in excitement about his experience. Ah, she did not mind magical experience, but nothing too magical to the point of rowdy. Looking at Fang though, she supposed he would enjoy it. Her eyes flickered around, taking in the direction that Fang was taking them, analyzing and predicting the supposed location. She might not know where or what it was, but at least maintaining some kind of prediction was better than nothing.
tabtabShe had expected to be the wallflower for the rest of the trip, but Fang had different ideas. Violet eyes met golden ones for a flicker, questioning what he was doing. Despite so, she would follow his suggestion to tell their story. What would be safe information to tell?
tabtab"We're travellers. Our supplies ran out so we restocked back here. Additionally, Fang had a friend with a good source for it, so we decided to go for it. It's good to have options." Technically, it was not wrong. That title would describe the two of them well before the separation happened. "After that, I suppose we continue traveling unless Fang needed something else."
tabtabThat should be the basics of their identity with omitted details. Now, she was more curious about the other company out of her little duo. Having little information confirmation would be better than guessing based on looks, actions and whatnot.
tabtab"What about you?"

'One, two, Becky's coming for you. Three, four, your luck is so poor. Five, six, we sail the river styx. Seven, eight, the vultures haven't ate. Nine, ten, you'll never see again.'
Victor simply sat and waited for a bit as he listened out to the group before he slowly began to get up, his mask and hoodie helping to hide his head while he pocketed his hands and slowly walked towards the trio as Zaffre seemed to have vanished for the moment. "Seems like you're an invitin' buncha people... I just hope the offer also extends to me as well." He told Fang outright while he stood beside Ghost, as he was listening to the back and forth, his right hand moving up to rub the hooded back of his head as he stood beside his ally while the idea of an impermanent shop was quite interesting. Victor quickly followed suit as they were quickly leaving the bar, his footsteps following in the back as he heard Fang trying to pry into the spectre's life while he shook his head at the mere gesture. "Is the person we're visiting going to be having some exotic weapons for sale?" He asked, as it was an honest question to find some new weapons to use.

✘ The Assassin ▄ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ Ghost was still a bit surprised by how easy it was to join the duo, and how their offer extended to all of them. While the duo did not seem untrustworthy per say, they were in Phoxuria. The city of thieves, as some called it. So internally, his guard was up. They could be leading them to what they say or try to mislead them; he doubted it was a trap though, from the little he had been learning of them at least. Especially of Fang. With Zaffre staying behind, Ghost would exit with Fang as would Akuryo; no need to waste time at least. 'And the quicker this goes about, the less suspicions will arise.' He thought to himself silently. While for the time being he meant no ill will to the too, who knew what further digging and conversation would lead to. Perhaps derailing their current conversation was not the best, given the importance of what was being discussed, but this seemed a rare opportunity at the least. And they had discussed the premise of everything so far; they would have stuff to build on in the future. Frea would respond to him; saying it was a shame and she wished him luck in finding such a merchant. But also offering that with many others he would find what he needed. While not smiling in return to him, he did notice her facial expressions soften as he gave a silent nod in return. One thing Ghost hadn't been expecting though was for the man to roughly clap a hand onto Ghost's shoulder and shake him a bit; perhaps a show of strength or just his usual mannerisms, but either way it was unexpected as surprise crossed Ghost's features for a moment. A change to the usual cool and collected demeanor he usually had as he was not used to such things. His smile would quickly resume though once he realized it was only meant in friendliness. He would say that Ghost would love his stuff, that it was almost magical in nature; at least that was the experience Fang had when going there. "I shall keep my expectations in check for now, if only so when the moment arises it shall be all the more enjoyable." Ghost would say with a smile to his lips; for the reason stated and so he does not get too distracted with Fang for the moment.
As they exited the dark and dim-lit interior of the bar, walking out into the air, Ghost would stretch a little and close his eyes a moment; to enjoy the outdoors. He did prefer it to interiors; particularly due to how often he would have to be sneaking around. The eyes closing part was more to help him adjust to the light again; being a person of the dark, and having been in the bar for a while. He would open his eyes again as Fang spoke, eyes towards him, as he would explain they were only here to re-stock before heading out but couldn't resist a visit. 'I wonder what they are restocking for...' Ghost wondered to himself silently before Fang continued speaking. Asking him to tell them a little about himself, and presumably Akuryo soon after, before seeming to think starting on their end first would be good as he signaled to Frea to speak their journey if she desired. Glowing eyes turning to her, Ghost would listen intently to her vague and careful response. She did not reveal much, only enough to give a vague idea; probably wise. Ghost was beginning to feel like the two had very different ideas in what was appropriate to reveal and what wasn't; with Frea being the main distinguisher of it. As she asked in turn, Ghost would keep his usual calm smile to his expression. 'In order to acquire what is desired, must one be willing to give up something of equal value.' He thought to himself; whether it was something he was applying to her or himself was yet to be determined. "Travelers, you say? I suppose it is good to see the world while bastions still exist. Phoxuria is as good a rest stop as any these days. I wish you luck and safe travels on your journeys, whenever you do depart." He would begin, a hint of curiosity as he repeated that they were travelers almost as a question. With how the Grimm were, travel was quite dangerous these days; as were the people you may encounter outside the cities. It made him curious why they did so, if that was their true purpose, but he would not inquire further for now. Instead, he would answer what was asked of him. "Our current mission is just a bit of mercenary work and the like; fulfilling contracts and such. With so much strife in the world, and dangers, it is a booming kind of business." He would say, being vague on the exact 'mercenary' work he did. While it wasn't the whole truth, his organization and contacts could be considered a mercenary group. He would pause though as he thought of the question of origin; Frea did not seem forthcoming with it, though he felt since Fang asked he should answer; if only to coaxe an answer out of the two of them. "I hail from the northwest, in a place no longer on any maps. With the fall of most the major nations, many place lie forgotten. Suffice to say, with the world as it is and my profession, I have since moved from there." He would say, speaking vaguely. One could probably assume it was for the safety of his home, even if it was for an entirely different reason for Ghost. His eyes, as he spoke, had remained on the two of them. Particularly Frea as he gave his responses as carefully as she had; still studying her a bit even though he kept the smile. "May we know where you two hail from, and how you met? Forgive the forwardness...but you two seem fairly different in personality, so my curiosity has been piqued." He would ask curiously, expression dropping from its usual smile as he awaited a response and walked with them. And deciding not to speak for Akuryo, if they inquired of him or if he wanted to speak. He was also curious too what answers he would give.

Fang liked how Frea put it; travelers. For travelers they were indeed! They just got themselves put in all sorts of problematic situations. Ultimately it made Fang wonder what his true purpose was for a moment. He really did lose track of it from time to time. It felt as if he was just wandering around looking for adventure. In the end, they were just trying to survive in a way they found pleasurable. Frea loved medicines and plants and all sorts of fascinating stuff. He wondered if she could just be content to collect all the information on those things. He certainly could not. He did enjoy fighting alongside her though. Protecting her while she did her stuff was sort of his role when they were together.
"Of course it extends to all of you!" He said to the man named Victor. "And they has pretty much everything under the sun, or in the shade!" He meant that as a joke, but it did have literal truth to it as well. This shop collected every good known to man. "Weapons, armor, steroids, rare antiques, you name it!". Fang would laugh at Ghost's nonchalant response about his own expectations. The next thing he said sounded like a farewell parting though. The man really had no sense of normality which made Fang all the more curious what his profession was.
Fang would lead them down a few alleys and finally to a dead end. A place of brick and mortar. A mountain of trash bags laid at the end and it was the perfect place to ambush and kill someone. Fang would turn to look at the group. "I'll let Frea answer those questions, but we are finally here. This is Cypriot street in the blue district. I believe the six refers to..." Fang would search the walls. For those looking they would see some bricks had tiny "x" carved into them. He'd find the sixth one and touch it.
Nothing happened.
"That's odd." Then they would hear the sound of metal blades beind drawn as four shadowy figures dropped from the tops of the buildings that made up the alleyway. They would land with heavy thuds. Each of them were large, battle hardened men. They seemed to all be wearing outfits of similar design and each duel wielded scimitars. Their faces were covered, but they all four possessed furry tails which meant they were faunus. Fang would take a step back. "Hey, we're not hear for any trouble." His hands were raised to show that he didn't have any weapons in them. The men would stand still with their weapons drawn still. Fang made sure to take a step closer to where Frea was. He didn't want to have his back exposed if more of them showed up. But then the lead man pulled his mask off. His face had a single diagonal scar from just below his left eye to his jaw.
"Fang. You were banned from Ryth's workshop. I already told you that the last time you came."
Fang would let out a dark chuckle, "But we both know that Ryth loves newblood, and I brought him three volunteers!" The faunus stared for a long time at Fang. Clearly annoyed, but then he did turn to look at the three with him. He seemed to nod approvingly. "Fine. But I'm only doing it because of your pretty friend there. I can smell botanical products in his bag and Ryth has been looking for someone to identify a few things..." He nodded at Frea.
"That's what I thought Severus..." Fang said with a dark smirk.
The faunus would sheath their blades and walk towards the brick Fang had touched. The leadman, Severus, would press a finger against the stone with an x on it firmly. A shock of aura would pulse into the stone and the wall would start to crack between predefined bricks, but with a seemingly random pattern. Eventually the wall would slide open and reveal a staircase. Two of the faunus would take the lead, and two would stay behind to follow after."There are three rules Don't steal. Don't fight. And don't ever come back to the same location." Severus would explain on his way down. If you violate the rules you will likely be killed or worse... used in one of Ryth's experiments.
After they descended the staircase they walked through what looked like an old collapsed sewer that had not been used for quite some time. They would take a few more turns and eventually reach a large oak door. The two faunus guards in front would open it for them to enter. The room was incredibly large. Long tapestries adorned every inch of the wall and rugs of vibrant colors all spread across the floor. Some cloth had been hung from the ceiling to give the place a more cozy feel. What looked like market stands were setup all along the walls boasting different goods themes to their stand. To the right were weapons. A separate stand for poles, and swords, and even a stand for strange and unique weapons that were rarely is ever seen. Many of them were obviously custom and one of a kind. In the middle of the room was a large circular pillar with stands all around it as well. The place was lit by lanterns but overall had a dark, yet charming appearance. Like an extravagant gypsy townhall full of stolen good. Behind the central stand two red eyes peered out.
"Ryth! It's good to see you!" Fang shouted across the room as he made his way straight to the white haired woman behind the stand. She peered silently at the others before turning to Fang when he finally made it to her. "I got you some buyers, and I was hoping to stock up on the usuals as well." She stared at him for a long time without moving nor showing any kind of expression. Then her face suddenly morphed into a scowl as a hand flew out and slapped him at breakneck speed. Fang;s head would c**k to the side as a hand went up to grab his jaw. "I can't say I deserve any less..."
"Damn right you don't!" She said. Her voice had a metallic hollowness to it. "Next time don't star a fight in my shop or I'll put a bounty on your head." She then turned to the newcomers. "Welcome to my workshop. We repair weapons, create customs, as well as the usual buy and sell. We also possess a large abundance of useful things as you can see. Once you find something you like I'll ring you up here." She then sat down on a chair behind the stand. Fang whispered something to her and she began to whisper in response, but it was a sort of harsh tone. They would continue to discuss things for a moment before Fang would slam a fist on the counter and turn away frustrated. They obviously had a complicated relationship.
Frea would see a stand dedicated to botanical goods, potions, poisons, and all sorts of medicinal goods to her left as well as general supplies. Only the highest quality materials, everything shockingly fresh as if it was picked just that morning.
The guards would stand to either side of the door and sit on stools. They would chatter amongst themselves.
As they entered the town, one known for its darker underbelly, Blair leaned into Hades arm leaving no room for guessing as to the state of their relationship to on lookers. Was it the rush of seratonin and other hormones from their early morning activity still coursing through her veins? Or was it the constant growth of their relationship that lead her to be so open about her physical proximity with him? Blair tended to keep a distant, stay away from even the simplest displays of public affection, but, bit by bit she was opening up more. Especially after the fiasco with the first EOC meeting. She had misunderstood, or rather, assumed incorrectly that Hades would want to keep their sexual relationship a secret from the other members. That lead to... well... various other misunderstandings. Perhaps hiding it was more so her idea, a way of being more comfortable. Though, why bother hiding it? Finally what he yearned for was beginning to come to pass, a more confident Blair in regards to him. One that was gladly showing she was his, and he was hers.
Even with her heels, their height difference was quite noticeable, but she didn't mind. He obviously didn't. Her hair was left loose that day, her blonde locks flowing freely. She had missed her hair being long. Cutting it had been interesting but, it was a mistake. Though if she had to for the sake of combat she would lop it off again.
Fingers twisting and holding into his she continued to walk the streets. Her eyes wondering over the various options. Looking up at Hades she spoke, giving him the option to pick their first activity. "Since I picked what we did earlier," she begin smiling a bit coyly at the memory. "What would you like to do now?"

They would end up taking a trip to the Town of Phoxuria? Something like that. Hades wasn't really caring about the pronunciation. As they walked, he would have Blair leaned against him giving o room figuratively and literally. Some would stare and others would give jealous looks. Some would find the couple to be sickening. For Hades, it all was finally coming together. Years in the making finally was able to come together. Maybe previously he had given off the wrong idea but at least they are both on the same page. Which he loved. Their height difference was still massive but he didn't mind it at all. He was excited she decided to let her hair down, though there was a common consensus. He liked her long hair but it was long gone. She would ask him to be the person to choose what they do. He didn't remember that. Or maybe he did. He would rub his chin for a moment and stopping.
“I think we could get dinner or lunch later. However, I heard that there was a fighting ring around here somewhere. Let us see if that information is actually true or if its just false. I think you wouldn't mind beating someone up. I know we promised to spar one day, but I think it be much more fun when the opponent has no connections. Right?”

Blair smiled up at him as he began to think about what it was he wanted to do. It came as no surprise that he brought up an underground fighting arena. He had a thing for such places. Hadn't he taken students on a trip like that before. "Oh? Another wrestlemania where I can tag along too!" She half teased. She was honestly fine not having gone. She also had a trip of her own at the same time, one with Garrett. Blair was merely teasing Hades. They didn't have to do every single thing together. He had his own tastes and she had hers. Sometimes she didn't mind lingering in on his interests if he wanted her to, but, she also wasn't going to invite herself on every one of his incursions. He, like her, at times needed his own space, had his own reasons to do what he did.
"Sounds like an idea. I did not get to beat up much in the purge." She stated with a mischevious and twisted smile as she cracked her knuckles. "I do the fighting. You can be my personal cheerleader~" In all honesty if he wanted to be the one to fight she would be alright with it, but she had a hunch he was going to have her do it. It was the best way to get bet money. "FIghting you I guess can wait... though if I'm not tuckered out you may have more of what you got in the morning," Blair teased with a wink as she would let him guide the way.

tabtab"It had been interesting travelling around so far. Thank you for the wishes. I hope you would have the chance to travel when you have time from your work." This was true before their current running situation. Ghost's profession was expected. It was a hunch, drawing from experience of meeting many people during her travels and sellings.
tabtabFor questions regarding themselves, she would let the person themselves tell the story. In Fang's case, she would be a little surprise to know he would let her answer that question herself, but she had no problem answering for him.
tabtab"We're both from somewhere in the world, in a sense. Unfortunately, I can't tell whether those places remained in the world as we have been nomads in a while. I will say nowhere is a permanent residence so far." She was unsure how to make it clearer. "The thing that is certain that we don't come from the same clan." An obvious observation, given rare occurrence of Humans and Faunus bond together in the same clan. She heard of the notion, but have not had the chance to see it.
tabtabWith the necessary questions answered, she turned her attention back to Fang. It was just in time to see him touch something she could not catch. Nothing happened before someone appeared. They dressed more like assassins or mercenaries rather than bouncers or guards, but she had no doubt that they could do all of those jobs. She flinched at their appearance, not noticing where they had come from. Her guard rose as she felt Fang inching closer to her. The female faunus was not proud of her fighting skills in comparison to Fang, but she had always made a good support in any situation. Listening to their conversation, she was not surprised that Fang might have caused trouble in the past. On the other hand, the man seemed to have the tendency to make new friends, acquaintances or enemies in whichever trouble he caused.
tabtabShe raised a brow when they mentioned botanical herbs. Given the conversation contents, she suppose she would do something in exchange something good. Especially herbal secrets, recipes or rare ingredients.
tabtabHer expression did not change as she followed inside the shop, but her eyes wandered, taking in the sight out of habit. Just the basics, whether there was an hidden exit, where the windows, good hiding and moving spots and so on, just enough to plan ahead if something happened. She zoomed in at the botanical goods in her glancing trip, barely restraining herself to move out of the group huddle to analyze the items she liked. She did not know the rules around here.
tabtab Despite the distraction, she knew that Fang the shopkeeper was on complicated terms. Hopefully that would not bring them trouble in the process.
tabtab"What do you need for these exchanges?" For these types of shops, some places required different items, be it services, tasks, items in exchange. There was no consistent rule for these shops.

'One, two, Becky's coming for you. Three, four, your luck is so poor. Five, six, we sail the river styx. Seven, eight, the vultures haven't ate. Nine, ten, you'll never see again.'
Victor followed after them as he was accepted into the invitation, listening to them talking while the spectre spoke before he soon popped his neck and smiled under his mask at what he spoke of. "I see.... sounds like my kind of bargain bin." He spoke softly while they walked together, listening as the spectre spoke as they didn't address him with the very same questions yet. Slowly, they made their way down a dark and damp alleyway, the smell of pungent trash prominent in the air while Fang turned around as he spoke, mentioning that the female would answer the questions. but his keen eyes watched as the man pushed a brick in and then they were promptly surrounded by large men with scimitars. Victor's eyes hardened as his hood helped to hide his looks, but his hands moved quickly to reach for his weapon but he heard the sound of breathing behind him. It was quite disadvantageous for the situation they were in. 'He is literally going to get us killed....' Victor thought while he heard them speaking.
Soon, they were put up for the notion of being newbloods, something that Victor....and Akuryo did not really enjoy being thrown into unknown spectacles but he calmed down as he heard the sounds of weapons sheathing could be heard. He moved closer to the spectre and nudged him slightly, a non-verbal note that they would need to move and be mindful of where they are after the rules were stated while they made their way down a long staircase. Victor finally got to the bottom with them as he looked around at the sights of various weapons. He slowly broke from the group as Fang got himself into some slight trouble before he spoke. "Do you happen to have Ex-huntsman weapons from Atlas?" His voice, loud, and this time more bold as he turned his own hazel eyes to look at her, a hint of a red glow as his mask and hood helped to hide the rest of his identifying traits. "Specifically a set of feathered gauntlets, a flamethrower with backpack canisters, a specialized .50 High-Calibur Magnum Revolver with a set of twin .45 Low-Calibur Desert Eagles, and a set of wired blades?" The list of what he spoke of would help anyone from Atlas know as to whose weapons he was referring too. The old weapons of the now defunct rogue Team VLTR(Vulture).

✘ The Assassin ▄ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ It had been a curious if short lived journey; Fang being as enthusiastic as ever and even Akuryo jesting a bit. Frea was formal; answers carefully vague as Ghost had come to expect from her. 'It seems the only information to be garnered is from Fang himself,' Ghost noted to himself. Frea would be a hard barrier to penetrate to learn anything; a shame since his focus for his semblance had been on her. A focus he probably tried too hard to achieve, with minimal results. 'A different strategy may be in order,' he pondered to himself as they walked. They would travel down a series of alleys; easy to get lost in. Whether it was intentional on Fang's part or for the person who they were seeking it was effective. Even someone as observant as Ghost had lost track of exactly where they were or how to re-trace their steps to the bar. He sincerely hoped this was not a trap; he had some outs but limited space was not ideal. He would be broken from his thoughts by the appearance of a dead end. Looking around calmly, Ghost tried to find the trick to it. He doubted Fang was given a dud map; there had to be a hidden entrance. 'Then again...' he thought silently as it was not out of the realms of possibility. The mountain of trash was not helping either; at least the odor was not too unpleasant. Fang would then turn to them, saying he would let Frea answer his questions yet again as he believed them to be in the right place.
While it may come off as impolite, Ghost made sure to keep one eye on Fang's action and the other vaguely to Frea. He wanted to hear the answer but also wanted to see what Fang was doing now as he mentioned a six. Predictably, Frea's answer was even vaguer than Ghost's; just that they were nomads and were not of the same clan. Though the clan word in particular was interesting; she seemed very deliberate with her wording so perhaps this gave more info than she intended. 'Are they both from different clans, or only she?' he'd wonder slightly as he would nod and refocus his eyes on Fang as he saw movement. Ghost would notice he pushed a brick, though he could not quite make out the other marked ones at his distance from the wall. 'Clever, hide it in an unassuming dead end,' he thought. Though when nothing happened he wondered if Fang had messed something up. Then the ambush was sprung; Ghost heard and saw men land all around them. His first instinct was to unsheathe his hidden blade, mentally preparing to whip around and attack. 'Three around them, presumably one behind me. Of course Fang leads us into a trap,' he thought, mentally planning things. It would be messy if it came to a fight, and he was not the one with the advantage. He would note the tails, attire, and weaponry; it seemed the three in front mirrored one another so perhaps the one behind him was also similar. He could plan around that but...if he didn't Ghost would be at a severe disadvantage, more so than he already was. Fang would raise his hands and say they weren't here for any trouble; Ghost was not so trusting though and remained still himself. If they tried touching him, he was prepared to attack; his aura activated.
For the time being, it seemed talking would buy time. One of them pulled off his mask, revealing a face with a with a diagonal scar. As he would speak, Ghost would internally sigh. He had only just met Fang but it appeared he did not have the best reputation here. Fang seemed to take things in stride, chuckling, and saying he brought new-bloods. There would be a bad connotation there had he not included his own partner; for now Ghost was interpreting it as new business. Even if that could quickly change; 'This could all be for show,' he mentally thought. More elaborate capturing had happened than this. The speaker seemed to relent, primarily because of Frea's herbs. 'Would we have been kicked out or worse without her?' Ghost wondered silently, keeping a neutral look to his face as the man looked them over. Fang revealed the person's name as well, Severus, as they seemed to sheathe their weapons, and head to the wall. Only then did Ghost re-sheathe his hidden dagger, but he kept his aura up. After that encounter, he was not inclined to let his guard down. He would watch as Severus pressed a brick on the wall, and a shock of aura going into the stone before it started to shift. 'Interesting; this will be of use for my clocktower,' he thought silently as he filed such information away. If they were in the business of selling "everything under the sun and shade" he hoped that was included. Eventually, the wall would open up to reveal a staircase. Their new "escorts" would split up; two in front and two behind to keep them sandwiched in between. 'No backing out now,' Ghost thought to himself, not needing the encouragement of Akuryo to get moving. They were told three rules; dont steal, fight, or return to the same location. The last one in particular was curious. 'How frequently does the location change? A shame we only have this one visit for now to get what we desire,' he pondered quietly, figuring he'd ask Ryth, Though the next threat was a bit disconcerting; 'They take their jobs too seriously. I hope all this forewarning is not overblown,' he thought to himself.
The staircase would lead to an old sewer, thankfully collapsed and no longer in use as he did not desire to smell of the sewers, and they would follow that path till they reached a large oak door. As the leads of the escort opened it, it almost felt like they were let into a bazaar of sorts. Adorned with tapestries and rugs all over the walls, and a plethora of market stalls against the walls. It was a surprise to find such a large and bountiful trove here; it seemed Fang had not been misleading them as to the quantity of the shop. The quality Ghost would have to determine on his own. To the right were weapons, which didn't particularly interest Ghost for the moment, as he found his eyes on the central pillar and it's stands as it had the only person he could see in the entire area. She had a curious eye color; red. And as far as he could tell, she was the only one in here till they arrived; though if the entrance was any indication he doubted she was alone. Fang did not hesitate to greet and approach her; seeming to have no ill-will to her despite the implied one she had to him. As he reached her, with the rest of the group following at a more relaxed pace, she would slap him. As they would speak Ghost made a mental note to ask about the story behind their relation later. After a bit of a heated response, she would turn to them and speak; voice metallic and altered by the mask she wore or so Ghost assumed. She would explain the general premise of the shop; he had an idea of a weapon he needed and some specifications as well. After a few more heated whispers between her and Fang, with him storming off, the questions would be unloaded on Ryth. Akuryo asking about particular weapons, and Frea asking about what would be needed to "pay" for the goods. The latter was a good question in general, while the former made him curious why Akuryo wanted such particular weapons.
'Today just gets more and more interesting,' he thought quietly to himself. Ghost had a few goals in mind as he would wander a bit in the shop; ears perked to listen in on Ryth's answers. He needed some poisons for a job he had and for future use as well; you never knew when it proved useful. Maybe an antidote or two for some more complex schemes. He also needed material to upgrade his smoke bombs, his swords, and a new attachment to his vambrace of a hand crossbow. With the smoke bombs, he wanted to improve their efficacy and duration. With the swords, he wanted something more subtle; something he could slip in easier. He was thinking on the lines of aura blades; so only the hilt was solid and could be hidden easily. As for his vambrace...he had found it increasingly inconvenient to carry a crossbow. While useful, he had to discard it often for opponents who liked to close the gap. If he could have a foldable one on his vambrace, he could then have an ever present one and use it effectively in close quarters. He was still thinking up items; there was a variety of things he could go after. All save the swords he merely wanted components too; he liked to work on his own weapons. If Ryth had insight though on how to achieve his ends, he would not be opposed to it. For now though, he would peruse the poison stand; which just happened to be the botanical area. This was an area he was lacking; he could not make his own, but he at least knew how to use poisons. If anyone did approach or noticed, they would see him looking over the various poisons. Also mulling over questions he would have for her once things calmed down a bit.

Fang would take a step back from Ryth's central stand. He would let the others ask their questions as he checked up on any new goods, but before that he would toss in one last comment. "Frea dear, watch yourself around that one, she bites." Obviously a stab at Ryth who would return a glare of immense lethality. Fang would back off fast. It didn't take him long to find the armor section where it always was. He quickly found the small etching tool section he was looking for and started scanning a few of the options. All of them were tools for removing official engravings. Something one would do when prepping an item for the black market. He hadn't bought a new once since his prison time. While he did this Ryth happily answered questions.
Ryth was quite happy to see a lady in her midst. Her usual patrons were mostly males. Such was the way in the criminal world. Ryth's eyes had an eerie glow to them, but her facial expressions made it certain she was happy to have new guests. "Don't worry about payment until the end, dear. That said, you are the ones my birdies told me had some botanical knowledge yes?" Her voice was obviously altered with some internal prosthetics to make it have a metallic hollow ring to it. Ryth would proceed to reach into a drawer behind her stall before Frea could even answer and put a tray of various seeds on the counter. "I have eighteen unidentified seeds here. I bought- I got this from an elderly gentlemen at a great cost..." She cleared her throat. Her mechanical, yet beautiful, eyes locked on Frea's. "If you are able to identify a few of them, or even all of them I will discount your purchases accordingly."
Ryth would answer the other's questions in turn as well. First, Victor's very specific question. Ryth put a finger on her chin and tapped as she thought to herself. "Oddly specific there... Strangely, I do think we acquired a pair of strange gauntlets. Hold on a second." She would exit her stand and make her way to the armor section. She'd rummage through a few boxes under the table and produce a pair of feathered gauntlets. "Acquired these not too long ago. The man said he bought them off a homeless beggar. Let me know if they are what you seek."
As Ghost didn't ask her anything she let him wander the store as he pleased, unbothered. He would find a whole section of a stall for smoke bombs. Every color he would ever want, small, medium, and large. In the middle was a strange purple looking smoke bomb. On it was a tag that read: "Gravity Smoke: This smoke bomb not only provides cover for your clandestine actions, but also spreads farther due to the cleverly designed gravity dust mixture. It is not enough to cause a person to float, but small objects like coins and dust will all be lifted off the ground two inches. This makes for easy sweeping, and a large field of cover."
Aura blades were abundant as well. Every kind of hilt one could think of was present, and they all had dust compartments in them so the color and affect could be changed. Some had a singular dust slot, and some were extended like that of a greatsword or claymore that had 6 or even 7 slots for different kinds of dust. The average sword size only had enough room for three though with modifications it looked like they may be able to hold more. One of them looked like a broken sword, but was clearly designed to fake it's opponents into thinking it was nothing more. When in fact, it could extend into a full aura blade. Clever similar designs existed. One where the aura blade was channeled to the opposite side of the hilt and out the pommel. Obviously used for deep faking your enemy. Weapons of true assassins that didn't expect their enemies to survive and tell the tale. Unfortunately a better Vambrace was not currently in stock.
The potions section would contain more poisons than anything else. One was a light a red, too light to be blood, and named 'Thracehate' The tag stated that it would cause intense retching within moments, and then asphyxiation, and finally internal hemorrhaging that led to death. The second was a cool pink color, it glowed slightly and was named 'Oculin.' It's tag asserted that it would render anyone who drinks it or is splashed in the face with it blind for a time. Temporary, but effective in combat. The Last poison, a glowing maroon color, was named 'Eviscor' and it simply killed anyone who didn't get medical attention within a few hours.
Ryth would find a moment to approach Ghost. She would stand by him with her arms folded in silence. Studying her own goods as if to determine what was best for him. "As far as poisons go, this is a solid choice. A hard drug to find these days as many use it for Euthanasia. It is made from the rare Evisc Flower of Vacuo. Though, you look like the type who may just want to put someone asleep?" she asked with genuine curiousity.
