The eternal senshi sat up stark and coughed, trying to shake the persist image and memory of the inside of the dinosaur's mouth, the rank breath consuming him as those teeth sank into his innards and -
Yeah, see, this is why he was trying not to think about it. He groaned as he pulled himself out and out of the grave - and when he glanced back at the stone, it read mockingly: Told you you'd be back. For the second time, he snarled and kicked the stone over, stomping on it once or twice for good measure, flipping it off before he whirled to (hopefully) go find his cousin.
Except instead he found himself staring directly at <******** Zircon of all people because why the ******** not, and he hated himself because he immediately ******** flinched like a little goddamn b***h. Really, he should've said something, or turned and walked briskly away, or done something.
Funny, though, it was a lot like the first time: his feet had gone heavy like lead, his tongue did the same, and in the end, much like it began, he didn't do a goddamn thing.

Sailor Seiryuu, Senshi of the East
Seiryuu didn't know how handle dying. Unlike her cousin and Genbu coming back, she didn't know how she could come back from being eaten by a monster. She remembered the piercing puncture of pain, blood seeping before breath, and darkness.
When she awakened, she couldn't imagine that she would awaken in a grave, 6 feet deep and in a coffin. It took time to register that she was alive and that she wasn't some form of a shadow of her former self. Was this what her cousin and Genbu had suffered through? She didn't want to lay there long and six feet was hard to climb out of it.
But she did it, digging hands and feet until she pulled herself up. Her uniform covered in dirt and crawled out of the grave. Her breath came out in ragged labor before she looked over at the tombstone.
Nothing was written on it, and she shouldn't have been surprised.
Who would mourn her besides Genbu and Eurydike? She rolled her eyes away, moving her hair out of her face before focusing on her cousin.
Coming back to herself in a hole in the ground with a starry sky laid out above her wasn't nearly as shocking as it'd been the first time and Genbu didn't waste much time in picking herself back up and brushing the dirt off her skirt. Most of the dirt.
Climbing out of the grave was no less of a pain in the a**, but at least she had experience this time to learn from, and it it was a little faster this time, but only a little.
By the time she'd drawn herself free she could see Eurydike looking for Seiryuu, and the taller senshi hurried over just as the eternal located his cousin's grave. "Hey baby," she smiled wanly down at her as she offered a hand down so she could help Eurydike pull her out of the grave. "Are you okay?" Dying sucked, which was a gross understatement, but they didn't really have the time to digest what'd happened or how they felt about it.
Later, after they'd gotten out of this mess, they could deal with the rest.

[Corrupt Mab]
Down when the Gravekeeper to a flapper-looking corrupt with decent make-up, and suddenly the air was so much more peaceful. Like before. Mab felt calmer and brought her kit from subspace once more so that she could repair all the damage done to hair and make-up, watching all the while as an interesting little drama played out before her.
General Zircon - for she knew this one by face and name at the least - had gotten her starseed pulled by some nautical looking corrupt as some sort of petty game. Fascinating. And done with some style too - though Mab wasn't certain if the Sailor Senshi - ha ha ha, so very punny - was going to get away with faux-murdering a general, even if it wasn't permanent.
Names drifted over, Sweetite. Aventurine. Names to faces, Mab tucked them away because it might come in handy, all while re-applying her lip-line.
As she watched the events unfolding in front of her, Nembus decided that, yes, leaving was absolutely the right move. The graveyard grim reaper was defeated anyway, and she had no interest in getting her starseed ganked, permanent or not--
Why was Still yanking starseeds, anyways? Was this her way of getting revenge from the--
No matter. Nembus wanted gone.
She wanted gone so quickly she didn't even bother to join her fellow Negaverse members in a vain attempt at networking, turning tail and heading straight out the glowing gates.

Page Aogashima - Entering
Aogashima wasn't sure what was worse, having a giant ship land on her, or being eaten by a murder dino. Dying the second time around didn't suck any less, either way, and what made things worse was that she couldn't tell Morie about anything that had happened here, because she'd never believe her.
Once more, she climbed out of the dirt hole, assisted by magic, stopping to brush dirt off her outfit (and out of her hair), before heading out of the gate.
Hazel eyes looked up at the short, blonde woman but Aventurine made no move to get up despite her orders. He understood, in theory, what the hurry was, but the dinosaur had been there both times he'd re-entered the central hub and he wasn't ready to risk getting stomped on again, or eaten.
He'd barely been in the graveyard long enough to assume it might have disappeared, like the ship had.
"No." It was defiant, but mostly he was more than content to stay where he was. "I don't care to be stepped on again." Or worse, eaten.
He didn't acknowledge anyone else.

Bernard sighed when the man finally went down. At least whatever threat that the "keeper" may have been he wasn't a problem now. And hopefully for the future. Honestly, how did he keep getting into these situations? He took a quick look around and saw both the Chibi and Etoile in the graveyard with him, but it seemed that they hadn't spotted him yet. Ah well, it was best that they go back to the main area though. He didn't want to have to stay in here any longer than he had to!
However the situation was entirely unsettling. As though they were going from world to world that had been captured in these bottles. Just what sort of creature could do this? Could the Negaverse be behind it? Though if it was, he didn’t believe that they would be doing what they were on Earth then. It would be far too easy to take over with powers like this.
No, something else was behind all of these weird happenings, as though there was something else entirely besides Order and Chaos at play. But what could it be? And why hadn’t they discovered it yet? Wasn’t Chaos the one that had wiped out all life on all of the celestial objects out there? Was there something that was even greater than it? Bernard shivered. If there was, he didn’t want to know!
He decided to head back through the gate that everyone else was going through and disappearing, hopefully back to the main area. He would have to hold a meeting with his fellow Mauvians later. They didn’t have this sort of teleportation technology or magic and he wanted to know why this weird bottle-monster did.
Seiryuu smiled weakly at Genbu and her cousin, as they helped her out. She brushed herself off and looked around. How depressing. Was this what death awaited them all.
She shuddered before reaching over for Genbu again and squeezing her hand. "We'll have to talk after." She felt something though, and watched as a door to another bottle opened up, blantantly clear it led to the desert bottle.
"Looks like we only have one way to go now?" She pointed at the door before heading towards it.

Zircon's death was anticlimactic as she rose from the same grave, though this time she acknowledged someone else's presence as she did so.
Aventurine?
Oh! The bossy brunette! So he was the one she'd referred to.... and he'd come along to rescue her?
The idea of needing a rescue party was embarrassing, to say the least. She'd been out on her own long enough that she should have been able to handle herself by herself but here they all were, forced into bottle worlds because she patrolled in the wrong place at the wrong time.
The Lieutenant seemed less than amiable to getting up and following Zircon's instructions, giving Sweetite a window of opportunity to once again show her superior officer that she was not only her best pupil but her most eager one as well.
"I'll go on ahead, General!"
She didn't give the woman time to argue before disappearing through the gate, determined to prove she could handle things decently on her own.
At least mostly, she hoped.

Why did that sound so ominous?
Genbu tried not to let her mind run wild as she squeezed Seiryuu's hand back and followed her and Eurydike to the desert and out of of the graveyard again.
Zircon's lips pursed, and she glanced back down into the grave. "I don't recall making a request, lieutenant," she responded lowly, aware of eyes on her. A general's command was her strength--if she failed to rein in a single lieutenant, then what good was she? "Get up," she commanded, starting for the gates and her other subordinate when she paused, catching sight of muted reds and whites and a swath of dark hair.
White wings as well. Those were new.
"So you managed to get some more power did you?" Zircon mused, smiling at Eurydike with only her eyes. She walked closer with a stuttered gait, aware of the two other senshi at his side but not paying them much mind. Losing a starseed wasn't even permanent in this world--she had little to fear from two lost senshi and their quivering eternal. This boy was no Thraen.
"Does it make you feel safe?" she cooed, closing the distance between them. With gentle hands she reached out, marveling at the job his glamour had done at covering the absence in his face. She was fascinated by it, wanted to pull it away to see how her handiwork had healed, but instead her cool fingers moved to brush against his cheek, almost tender.
"It won't ever be enough, you know," she murmured, tilting her head and her brows, almost sympathetic. "Those little wings won't fix you. So now what do you do?" Her lips split into that noxious smile, sweet and possessive--if she listened closely, she thought she could hear his little rabbit heart beating out of his chest, and it sounded like songs of praise.
The mantra pounded in his head like a beat of a drum, like the pounding of his heart. He was aware of his cousin and Genbu calling, that they were dashing off ahead - he should join them, he should go, he should ******** run, but he didn't. Eurydike stayed there, and even with the added strength that should've given him some degree of confidence, the way he felt, he might as well have still been pinned beneath her in the alleyway.
He flinched at her touch, but couldn't bring himself to pull away, a tremor settling into his body no matter how hard he tried to clench his fists to ward it off.
So now what do you do?
Eurydike swallowed hard. He opened his mouth once, and no words came out.
The second time, though - the second time -
"I say I'm sorry."
He bit his lip hard, his remaining eye dark.
"'Cause it's... the same for you, ain't it?"
The stuttering gait. The hollow orb in his head. That'd been the point she was trying to make, right? - that's the only reason he was still alive.

MEISSA IS ENTERING
It had come to this again. Meissa was glad at least to be out of the oppressing heat of the desert environment that she had found herself in. While it was now a peaceful feeling that overtook her the bluenette was raring to get going again. This time she had a plan in mind to try and rally anyway she could find into leaving either this locale or the Central staging area. It was painful to say that the battle against the giant leviathan creature wasn't as easy as she had thought it would be. Maybe if someone, namely her, brought reinforcements ... everyone could get out of this strange place much quicker.
Scrambling out of the open grave in which she had woken up in the bobcat senshi glanced around. There were still figures in the distance and not knowing if she was going about it the right way Meissa grimaced before bringing cupped hands to her mouth and shouting,
"HEY. DESERT TRIAL BOTTLE. MONSTER BATTLE. COME HELP!"
That would have to do. Meissa darted for the glowing gate that would take her to the staging area. There was not much time to waste if she wanted to continue the fight against the leviathan at the oasis.
Zircon's smile fell and her gaze sharpened. What she'd done to the senshi had been for a number of reasons--anger, vengeance, defiance, but never had she intended to look into his eye and see pity. It didn't nourish her soul the way his fear did. She let her hand fall away, sneering in disgust.
"Sorry does nothing," Zircon hissed, a snarl on her lips. After everything she'd taken from him, how could he possibly have any power to make her feel vulnerable, to feel kinship from the pain that they shared? She turned her back to him, balling her hands into fists as she started for the gates.
"Don't ever presume we're the same, senshi," she called out to Eurydike, casting a sidelong gaze to the bobcat girl who sprinted past. "All you are is a ghost with no name." She turned for the gates and then she was gone.
