Lt. Chambersite

As much as Chambersite wanted to get to know all of his fellow agents a bit more, they seemed to be conversing with someone else from what he could see, which would have meant he was interrupting conversations. Best to try to get to know each other some other time then perhaps.

He sighed, and summoned his toy turnip once again. There seemed to be nothing to do other than talking for right now, and without one to talk with, the time until whatever was supposed to happen would feel as though it were taking forever.

He continued to scan the area and noticed a little page by herself. He grinned. He hadn't talked with any sort of knight before, though it wasn't a surprise considering they were enemies. But... if they were stuck here, it might be interesting to see what information he could get. Or scare the poor girl. Either one.

He waltzed over to her, still holding onto his turnip. "Well, didn't expect to see such an adorable page around here." He said to her once he had gotten close enough. This might be fun.

Corrupt Mauvian Obscura

Kiddo? Hmm, Obie would probably have to get used to that nickname popping up pretty often. It was just the first time she had been referenced in that way. 'Kitten' was more common, but again she hadn't met another Mauvian before. Only Agents, some nice, more of them silent solo figures. He seemed quite nice though, Obie had been a little concerned that the other Mauvians might not give her the time of day since she was so....peppy.

Tiberius himself seemed to have quite the big personality, so they would probably get along just fine. "None at all and not shy about it." If you didn't always say what you had on your mind, it meant you were hiding something. She always liked to be upfront with those she met. Hoping it would help to build trust in a faction full of mysterious individuals.

"I left the twins at home. I think they partied a little too hard for New Year's and are still recovering..." Lori knew how to party and even though she knew neither of them made it to the actual party, that wouldn't stop her fashion crazed partner from having a good time ringing in the New Year.

"I've met a few other agents. But I don't see any of them here, nor would I refer to them as 'my' people specifically...." She hadn't really made too many friends yet. "You know some Agents around here?" Maybe he had been accompanying someone as well. She's take any chance to meet someone new and hopefully learn a thing or two from them for her twins.

Pendour, Page of Neptune

"Oh, is your outfit different? I wouldn't know," she said. She took another look at his clothes. The color was good for him, and the flowers didn't quite look like any local plants, which meant that Pendour could hope that they were from another world. "Jupiter's not quite pink, but then Saturn's not shadow-blue at all and yet it has knights all dressed for nineteenth century mourning."

Her voice was soft and smooth, still, although she didn't ignore the ever growing mass of the confused around her, many of them in black, and she couldn't avoid the furrow in her brow. She looked down to her own skirt instead, and ran a palm over the soft silk with the scales on it. "Neptune knights are what you'd expect, I think, but yes, it's nice to meet you."

She smiled, then, and it reached her eyes this time, although the thought of the hospital left her blinking and shaking her head slowly and very aware of the bubble wall just a few feet behind her. Then, everyone had been hurt, herself included, and then hurting each other. "A horror movie," she repeated, "Yes. That's what it was, really, but then, that time it ended up being people," she turned her head again to look towards the small crowd gathering around the people who had seemingly started this, both with Chaos coming off of them in waves. "Um, the Negaverse, who were keeping us in there, but with locks and such, not magic like this."

There had been no chance, then, for a conversation like this.

Corrupt Eternal Stillwaterite

Stillwaterite was just plain baffled. Her attention couldn't help but be torn between the now empty bottle she was holding, and the miasma that surrounded them, trapped them here, apparently, and drew others in. The collection of rapidly growing power signatures in the area was as fascinating as it was problematic. It had the potential for a spark to go off at any moment, as demonstrated by an Order senshi, which she noted Mintaka smoothed out, with increased magic. Finally, she snapped her attention to the group that had gathered, blinking once as she was addressed in particular.

"Ah, a pleasure to meet you, Acubens---I think. Perhaps under different circumstances, hm?" She returned, and nodded her head. "Yes, I'm Stillwaterite, but please, just call me Still." So much going on. A civilian was joining them, and that was interesting, but she couldn't help but give Mintaka a withering look as the woman threw her under the bus. "I can't take the credit for this one, Mintaka. The trip was your idea and you handed the bottle to me."

She was glad for all these people here though. It helped keep Aurostibite distracted, especially when one in particular showed up, and he moved to block his wife. Very curious. Still turned to Mintaka, brows knitting.

"Have you ever seen anything like this, before?"

Kainite

Whether he realized what Aurostibite was doing or not, as was usually Kainite's way, he didn't acknowledge that anything was amiss at all. Instead, he bore an enthusiastic smile for his general (the most and most superior general here, clearly). "Isn't it obvious, Bossman? - I was patrolling, and then this happened, " look at him, being all devoted and doing his job. Clearly the best and most dedicated lieutenant Aurostibite had ever had (the missing year or two or so not really withstanding - the important thing was he was here now, right?!).

Honestly, he still didn't totally get why some senshi had holes (in the negaverse) and other senshi (the mirror folks) didn't - it made them easier to tell apart, sure, but the one time he'd asked he'd gotten in trouble for it, so it'd never really come up again. Seeing everyone all clustered together here, though, maybe Kain wonder all over again.

"So wait, do you mean to say this wasn't a plan?" Because it sort of seemed like something they would do, but - then, abruptly, he seemed to taken attention of the senshi Aurostibite was (un)subtly trying to hide. "Wait... so is this your wife, Bossman? Or - ??" He hoped she was; she was super pretty, definitely worth Aurostibite's time.

Eurydike

Wandering into the mess of power signatures, warily, he realized that he saw at least one familiar face - and honestly, he might've beelined for Still if she hadn't been surrounded by negaverse officers and corrupts, his hackles raising subconsciously at the thought of the enemy anywhere near his friend. He tried not to stare too long, desperate not to get her into any s**t, when he heard a familiar voice.

"Seiryuu, " he half groaned as he all but stormed over, his hands already flailing because W H Y. "The ********?! What're you doin' here?! Did it catch you or - " did you ******** come dashing in with no sense of self-preservation because WHY was his life always full of people like that?!

Malaise

Talk about a weird trip.

Not only were the colors all ********, but Malaise quickly realized he wasn't alone in this weird dark abyss. There were voices, other people - but when he glimpsed them at a distance, they were all decked in strange, colorful costumes, and more than that, there were some cats, or people with tails -

He stared at the tail end of the blunt again before sighing and dropping it, stomping out the pitiful little ember of light at the end with his heel. Someone must have laced it with something. He wondered what. Guess it didn't really matter now; he was here, might as well ride it out.

Transcendent Eternal Encke

Encke brought his newly powered boyfriend to the park in hopes of showing him the ropes. Just a normal patrol. Maybe they'd run into a monster and Encke could show Richard that he was more physically powerful now. Not Richard. Basiluzzo. He could usually fairly easily swap between those two names, but something was weird about calling his love something not Arra or Richard or even love, because maybe he shouldn't hint that they were romantically involved while they were powered. Was that a thing he needed to worry about?

He hadn't ever had to think of these kinds of things before, and frankly, he was one hundred percent okay never thinking about them again, as much as he knew he wasn't about to be that lucky--

Encke noticed a powerful signature, and then another, and froze. Those powerful signatures were not ones that Basiluzzo was even remotely powerful enough to deal with. If it had just been Encke, he probably would have gone to confront them anyway, but he had Arra Basiluzzo with him, and he needed to consider someone else's safety for a change.

Not that he wasn't considering everyone else's safety all the time, but usually it was from the perspective of keeping them safe at home, not keeping them safe while they were alongside each other--

"Basi," offered Encke, warningly, "we may want to patrol elsewhere. If you feel that weight, it's because there are strong Chaos auras here. You aren't strong enough to take them."

The implication there was a bit overconfident in that it implied he could, but it was also intended that way so Basiluzzo didn't start worrying overmuch about him--

His thoughts suddenly cut when he realized that they were encased in some sort of black mist.

Along with several other people.

And the strong auras.

Well, s**t.

Mintaka, Eternal of Origami

Mintaka just stared sheepishly at everyone gathered. Unlike, Still, She felt more at ease with the group then anything else. But she knew what was at stake for the woman.

"Nice to meet you." She smiled at Jason, assuming by what Acubens meant, she left it alone. They were better in a group.

"Your guess is as good as ours." Mintaka shrugged, and suddenly her view was blocked by her husband to someone else. A small white head peeked from behind her taller husband and she smiled at the lieutenant.

"Hello." She barely heard his name, "Kainite? It's nice to meet you, do you know my husband?" She had been called Bosslady and that was adorable.

Mlinzi

Mel yawned and stretched before climbing out from his little napping spot in a back alley. He had spent a good few hours just playing around, or as he liked to call it, patrolling and had taken a break to scrounge up some food. After he had begged and ended up 'sharing' food with a few nice humans, primarily kids, he found a spot in a out of the way location to take a few minutes of shut eye. His nap lasted longer then he expected and by the time he woke up a giant energy signature had formed just a few blocks away.

It probably wasn't smart to go check it out but no one, seriously... no one, has ever called the guardian cat smart. So without even hesitating the large cat headed towards the strange energy signature, he only slowed his forward motion when he spotted the dark mist swirling around but by then it was too late. He was sucked right into the mist and found himself in a foggy park of some sort, a park that was colored totally wrong. Blue, purple, and black rather then the green and brown it should have been.

He could feel others around too! At least he wasn't alone in this strange little space. "Hallooooooo?" The cat called out as he started to head towards the others he could sense. "Anyone there?"

Lieutenant Strengite

One did not just stop their hunting just because a odd and powerful magical signature just appeared from nowhere several blocks away. She was currently busy draining a a*****e who thought her 'not interested' was code for 'your hot' or something equally stupid. He had pushed her past just ignoring him to contemplating killing him and the only reason his a** was just sleeping in the alley was because there were too many cops around right now. It was easier to explain a passed out 'date' then it was a dead body. So after a little bouncing between powered and not powered, to inform one of the bouncers from the club she had just left that her date passed out in the alley, she found yet another hidden spot to once more become Strengite.

With her once more powered, and actively focusing on the strange aura, the curvy lieutenant made her way towards the odd spot cautiously. She had been mixed up into several strange things over the past few months since she became an agent of the negaverse and she suspected that this might be more of the same. She had gotten some things out of the events so it wasn't all bad but it still made the pale haired woman weary of more shenanigans.

Unfortunately for her there was no 'go no closer' marker and before she even realized it the lieutenant was in the dark mist rather then standing outside it. "Crap," She made a face and cautiously made her way deeper into the recolored world of the mist, hoping to spot someone she knew... or someone she could use, which ever was more helpful at the current moment.

In retrospect, yelling Jason's name the way she had an effectively branding him as aligned, even losely, with chaos, was not her best move. She blushed for her oversight and smiled in an uncharacteristically sheepish way at the man, squeezing his hand when he got close enough.

"Sorry, I panicked," she muttered low enough for only him to hear.

And then she felt Lacerta at her back, and grinned warmly at her, glad that the younger senshi trusted her enough to come close even with all of the chaotic strangers around. Acubens' other hand reached around to clasp Lacerta's only briefly, not wanting to make her feel any more uncomfortable than she already was. She would leave it up to the teenager to introduce herself if she felt so inclinded.

Finally, she turned to Stillwaterite, nodding genially.

"Perhaps we can meet again under less... strange circumstances. Whenever that is, you know how Destiny City can be, after all." Acubens laughed despite herself but the sound did not reach her eyes. Two under her charge were in this bubble with no way out, and while nothing was happening right then, that didn't mean that nothing would. Destiny City liked to take a long, deep, calming breath right before it exploded.

And then Mintaka mentioned a husband, stealing Acubens' attention. Mintaka was married? It wasn't surprising that Acubens didn't know, she only really knew the senshi's face, name, and sphere. She made a mental note to really look Mintaka up after this was all over. Get to know her better. There were so few active eternals anymore, they needed to network as much as they could.

Giza

Dark, warm eyes flicked back to her as she yielded to investigation. He knew she'd have preferred to avoid it altogether, and honestly she was probably right to do so, but...it was more than just an idle curiosity, the page felt himself being drawn towards the disturbance in a why he had no words for. Much like a compulsion, but not quite so overwhelming. It began as an idle thought and grew. A niggling feeling that had evolved to an almost physical itch by the time she was taking his hand.

"I'll follow your lead once we're inside." She had vastly more experience than he did. It would be foolish of him not to take advantage of everything she'd already learned about this strange war and those who fought in it.

Her fingers were cool as she tied one of her bells to his wrist and he wondered idly, briefly, what happened to it when the both of them shed these powered guises at the end of the night. Would it remain when he was Giza again, or would it return to the braid she'd removed it from? He'd find out in due time, but there were of course more pressing matters, and even his curious attention couldn't linger on hypotheticals for more than a moment before returning inexorably back to the miasma hanging over the park.

It was dangerous, he knew that, and she was still willing to accompany him. It made him smile, and he turned his hand to catch her's so he could draw her in close enough to brush lips over the curve of her cheek, murmuring a soft شكرا جزيلا in her ear. The he was adjusting his grip to lace his fingers with her's so they walked forward, into the darkness, hand in hand.

Genbu

Stoic features took on a distinctly stern quality as she turned bright eyes back to Seiyruu, and she had a mind to remind the other girl that they were on duty, but the senshi of the east had spotted someone familiar in the crowd and was hailing them.

The name she called didn't immediately register but the face did, and Genbu sighed as the eternal of salt came stomped towards them. "Oh fun, he's in a good mood." The sarcasm was thick, but her voice was soft enough that only Seiryuu might have heard it.

She didn't like the authoritative air he took the moment he reached them, and it had the taller senshi stepping smiling cooly down at him. "We saw trouble, we came to help." That was their duty. What order senshi worth anything just turned tail and ran when things got sketchy?

Corrupt Mab of Spindles

Unconcerned with the milling throng of bodies as long as they were unconcerned with her, Mab pulled a make-up bag from subspace and began adding to what the glamour magic gave her. It was nice, but it didn't...pop, and Shea refused to be a 'plain Jane' under any circumstances if it could be avoided.

As Mab applied the finishing touches to her lipstick, another corrupt came to make their presence known in a very clumsy, bumbling, just-out-of-grammar-school manner. Oh how utterly precious, do they want to make nice? The corrupt of spindles checked her teeth for lipstick with the mirror of the compact before returning it to her make-up bag and banishing the entire kit back into subspace.

Only then did Mab bother to give the other corrupt a once-over, mouth drawn into a vapid curve. "Oh goodness, did we?" There was something about this other senshi's manner and tone that grated unpleasantly, so Mab tossed on her queen persona, southern belle accent and all. Is he just young? Stupid? Or does he just not know how to talk to people?

"Ah, Versailles. Like the city in France, or the palace there then? How interesting." Despite the southern accent affected previously, this the corrupt of spindles spoke in the clipped, posh tones of every British villain in cinematic history. The offered hand was mostly ignored to shake, though she did offer her hand as a lady would, watching the other corrupt through thick lashes to see how they would react.

That they'd not met many senshi at a basic level was interesting - no team? No trainer? So, Aue hadn't been lying when he'd said that the Negaverse didn't always train it's recruits so well and that Mab, Lalande, and Cursa had been quite lucky indeed with their superior officers.

Fascinating.

The previous accent slid smoothly back into place, along with the vapid mask, "Well, you certainly have now, haven't you?"

Seiryuu, Senshi of the East

There was a lot that was funny about the situation. Eurydike running towards them with his arms flailing. Genbu's moving.

It was hard to say who was in the right here. Her eternal Cousin, or her leader. Regardless, Seiryuu smiled at the woman, touching her arm.

"We're senshi too." She looked at her cousin. "Plus you need some back up. Look at this place." She waved her hand, "Its a bunch of chaos stuck in chaos." She put her hands on her hips. "Genbu and I can take care of ourselves too."
