A bone Short IC Response: It had been a long time since she'd seen her family. She had been sent on ahead to find a graveyard for their new bussiness. Casquette had sent word that she was fine andset up, it was time for them to join her. But no one had come. Reverntly, she laid the bone of her ancestor out and closed her eyes, wishing that her message had reached her family--that at least some of them would come.

What does your character leave as an offering for the wishing star? Tea leaves Short IC Response: It had been a long time since they had taken Avan's tongue for speaking out against the overseerer's. But it wasn't the times he choked trying to speak in those strange moments when he'd forgotten that he no longer could that haunted him. It was when he thought of his brother. When they had come for him, he'd told him to run while he bought him some time. It had been the last thing he'd ever said to anyone. The words still made him proud, but he hoped it had not been in vain. He hoped that somewhere out there his brother was alive and safe.

Ever since I came to these lands, I have been by myself and it's just plain boring when you don't have anyone around that you can have fun with! I have yet to met a decent soquili that I can call my friend or even my "bffl," if you will. Seeing how I have a wild, party girl type personality {once I break out of my skittish and cautious nature at first but trust me, my skittish ways don't last very long. My facade if you will before my true personality shows], I'm just looking for another soquili that I can just have a good time with; someone that I can take out with me to have a good time and just have fun with. Or hell, even a friend that's the complete opposite of me but I can mold her into the kind of friend I want her to be and can proudly call her my 'minion.' A soquili I can consider to be my 'right hand b***h,' you know? But don't get me wrong, I don't want my new friend to outshine me in anyway {I'm totes a jealous soquili when it comes to others outshining me.}. My new buddy must be as short as me, seeing how I'm a fairly short soquili to begin with. I wouldn't want my new friend to tower over me like a giant nor should my friend be any smaller than I am because then I wouldn't want to be towering over them!! Oh sure, I'll eventually back stab them down the road- whether it be in my favorite form of stallion stealing or something more serious than that- but she'll just have to suck it up and get over it. I admit, I may not sound like I have the qualities of 'best friend material' but hey, I can't be the only soquili out there that doesn't do that to a friend once in a while. I'm not perfect you know! In the end, however, we'll forgive each other and just continue on with our lives together as two peas in a pod. Well, that is until I pull another one of my little stunts again, anyway. -smiles-

Short IC Response: Bake frowned at the small lifeless animal at his feet. He hadn't meant to play so rough with it, but he couldn't help it sometimes. He wasn't used to seeing others in his swamp. Though he did get lonely. Every so often he would have dreams of having someone to talk to. Someone who wouldn't be so sensitive. A flash of light cought his attention from the corner of his vision. His head whipped up quickly, still, he almost missed the passing of a star. At first he started to grumble, but then he remembered a story he had heard once. 'star..... If you can hear me, could I please have someone to talk to? It's been a while since that mare left. And ever since ethen, no one seems to last. ....so yeah....' He wasn't sure if it would work, but he supposed it was worth a try.

The normally stoic Soquili seemed downtrot, but there appeared to be more to her. Exhaling a soft breath in the colder air compared to how it was during the day, she pulled forth her wing as a feather dangled before flying away. Silent as she normally is, she glances to the star with big, hopeful eyes... "Please, I wish nothing more than to be reunited with my mother, I miss her so..."

I try to see the best in others, which leads me to being naive and trusting too easily. I lived a pretty sheltered life in my old herd, my family liking to keep me close. So I will admit, I have a lot to learn about the world around me. I was also used to others doing things for me, like brushing my tail, and they made sure I had everything I could possibly need or want. Since I have joined Odakota, I have learned a lot of things, but I guess others still can take advantage of me. Others have said I am very delicate, but I am trying to learn to take care of myself more. I would love a friend who could be also a body guard to me, making sure I am kept safe.
