He saw that she still wasn't smiling. He was gonna make her follow her own order rather she liked it or not. So he got an idea. Adam smirked and decided to mess with her. "Huh? You? You're as straight edge as they come. But you make a great cheerleader, leader." he snickered. "Her eyes are really shiny. It's relaxing." he thought as he stared a bit too long before coming back to Earth. "Well, thanks. I take pride in my ability to listen." he said pointing his thumb to his chest. "You tryin' to say 'thanks?' if so, then, stop. I told you before that I'm here for you. Remember that." he ordered with a smile while tapping her forehead with his forefinger. He continued to lay in his position in silence until she spoke. "Huh?" he said responding to her question. Water blocked his view and then washed over his face. It ran through his nose and he pooled it into his mouth before spouting it like a whale. "Ew. Leg water." he chuckled. "Hmm." he thought. "I don't think I would do anythin' to be honest." he said thinking. He sat there in silence for a moment pretending to be irritated with her action. He went as far as to ignore her concern about ruining the day. He broke the silence as he stood up and was about to walk past her without a word. "Yo, what's gold, black and wet all over?" he asked standing next to her as she sat. Without giving her a chance to respond, he picked her up, swung her over his shoulder, ran to the deeper part of the shore and threw her in. He doubled over in laughter as he desperately tried to catch his breath. "That's what I'd do if you did that, girl!" he said finally getting air in his lungs. "And of course you didn't ruin it. You put too much on yourself. You got another pair of shoulders to bare that." he said pointing to himself as he walked towards her. He extended a hand to her. "Stop that, Ridley. Please." he smiled at her. {OOC:}

Azura Knight
Azura couldn't help but smile as realization dawned on Adam's face while he looked over Onyxia. A smile that turned into laughter as he commented on her having a face and a body. "It appears the illusion is ruined. We'll have to keep it a team Dark secret that Onyxia does, in fact, have a face and body." She teased between giggles. For a moment she thought about activating her semblance to make Onyxia appear as Adam described her, but the moment passed and the mood sobered a bit as Adam apologized for soaking the to girls. Azura gave him a friendly smile. "It'll dry out, don't worry. It is exciting to have a day off. I think everyone really needed this."
Adam wasn't paying attention to her anymore though, and Azura followed his gaze back towards the beach. Her mood quickly soured as she saw Scylla, Ridley, and Cecil. While she couldn't hear what was being said, it was pretty clear Scylla was yelling at her two teammates. Couldn't they just have one stress-free day of fun? She sighed and started following Adam back towards shore, upset that the carefree day had been ruined. They didn't get far before Scylla and her two friends started heading towards them. She braced for Scylla to start yelling at her as well but instead got a compliment...or at least as close to a compliment as she was likely to get. "Oh...I....thank you..." She stammered a bit, caught off guard and unsure how to react. Luckily Adam, smooth as always, took over by complimenting Scylla and inviting her little group to join them. Azura wasn't so sure that was a good idea.
In the end, it didn't matter though. Scylla may have been done with Cecil, but Cecil wasn't done with Scylla. A well-aimed barrage of ice came flying towards the three girls. Adam seemed about to go into hero mode but thought better of it and backed off instead. "Look out." She called a little too late. Azura was out range luckily, but given Scylla's short fuse, white-hot temper she had a feeling what would follow. Thinking quickly, Azura activated her semblance to make an illusion which would hide Cecil from Scylla and her two friends. It was the only thing she could think to do that would stop a fight was if the three girls didn't know where the ice had come from, or from who. Instead, she conjured up the image of a Faunus girl who shouted "Sorry!" and looked horrified before running off.
"She must have lost control of her semblance," Azura commented hoping the three girls would shrug it off and move on with their day at the beach. By now Ridley had run off and Adam had followed her, leaving Cecile, Onyxia, and Azura alone with Scylla and her two friends.

She made broken look beautiful and strong look invincible. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Ridley rolled her eyes at his straight edge cheer-leadier comment, though she was clearly fighting back a grin at this point. She couldn't help it. Not only did he seem to know just how to amuse her, nothing could keep the smirk off of Ridley's face for too long. Not even Scylla. "Right, who am I kidding?" She asked sarcastically before kicking one of her legs up in the air while simultaneously raising up both of her arms as if she were holding pom poms. "Was that preppy enough for you?" She asked, smirking over at him as she dropped her leg back into the water, splashing the both of them. "If not I really better step up my a game." She teased further. finally giving in and letting out a soft laugh.
She caught his gaze lingering on hers for just a moment too long. She wasn't sure exactly what to think of it. It almost reminded her of the first time they had met and he had nearly come nose to nose with her to examine her eyes. Laughing to herself at the memory, she waved a hand teasingly in front of his eyes. "Earth to Adam. You still in there?" When he finally shook the daze, he pointed dramatically at his own chest which drew another laugh from her lips. "Now now... Don't get too cocky." She teased with a roll of her eyes. It was of course just that. Simple teasing. Adam was an excellent listener. Not only that but he was always so willing to listen and help anyone one, always saw the best in people, always kind no matter what. Ridley honestly wasn't sure how he handled Scylla as well as he did. As much as she disliked the girl, he admired Adam for being able to look past it all and get along with her just the same. Ridley didn't have the patience for it. Not when it came to Scylla at least.
The brunette snickered in an almost child like way at Adam's reaction to her splashing. Spitting the water out of his mouth like a whale, it was a moment before he spoke. When he did, she bit on her lower lip to stifle the grin and the laughter that were fighting to burst their way through. Feigning a serious expression, she looked upon him with concern. "Yeah... that's disgusting." She started, wrinkling her nose up. "You know what... you should probably get that checked out. You might have caught a disease. You look a little green." She commented, placing a hand to his forehead as if checking for a fever. After a moment she wasn't able to hold back her lefter anymore. She let her hand fall back to her side, doubling over as she burst into a fit of giggles.
Her laughter had masked some of his silence, but she looked up at him curiously as he stood up and started walking past her. Suspicion crept its way into her eyes at his question. It took her a moment, but it all clicked, just not in enough time for her to do anything about it. She didn't even have time to blink before he had swooped her up off the ground and over his shoulder. She was tossed into the crystalline waters just a moment later. A small shiver ran up her spine as the icy ocean chill enveloped her, but it was welcomed in the heat of the day. Ridley was completely dunked in the water, when she resurfaced her dark locks had found a new home in front of her eyes. "Harty har har. You're hilarious." She muttered, pushing her soaked strands out of her face and behind her ears. She shot a mocking glare at him, but after a moment her face broke into a grin. When he offered her his hand, she took it with a smile, but the grin immediately turned into a mischievous smirk as she pulled him back in with her.
At the more sincere parts of his speech, a more tender smile touched her lips. She couldn't help some of it. She was used to carrying it all on her own. It was part of her nature, part of her nature, but his gestures never went unnoticed. Even if they didn't pan out exactly the way he might have hoped. He'd still gotten more out of her than anyone else had. "I know, Adam. I appreciate you more than you know." She stated sincerely. It was only a moment later that she realized the true extent of what she said. She felt the heat creeping into her face, but quickly turned away before he could see, glancing in the direction of their team. If he did happen to notice the red color in her cheeks, she hoped he just contributed it to the heat. "You don't think they're going to cause to much mischief without us?" She questioned smirking back over at him.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ She walked with the universe on her shoulders and made it look like a pair of wings.
Scylla could only think how ridiculous it was. Here she catches people talking trash behind her back and they get mad because she insults them back. She didn't understand people in Vale, they deserved the insults for how they acted. She still had nothing against them personally, why should she? Apparently, that was not the case when it came to them. Ridley's calm speech about how Scylla was this and how Scylla was that made very little sense to her. She apparently didn't remember how things went down. For one she had only wanted to be sure that Cecil wasn't going to sit there and try and torture somebody for her own personal ******** up reasons. She certainly had come off in the wrong way that was true but even she admitted to them that she just wanted to make sure things were done right. That she just wanted them to leave emotions at the door and do the mission properly. That made her the bad guy though, the entire time with that team had been nothing but s**t. Cecil had literally threatened to kill her friends and she was the ******** bad guy? Not to mention trying to talk trash about her right after the fight had been over. She hadn't wanted to do the mission because no one was listening to her and they clearly were not going to mix well. Still, she did the mission though.
Scylla was not going to deny that she had clearly lost her temper and it was true her scream had been unnecessary. However, she still believed she had made the right decision with the beam. There was no way they could move it and they didn't have time to sit there and try and figure out a different way. Yet no one would even consider the fact that what she did was best considering everything. No instead they all just blamed her and refused to even ******** listen. It was true she had lost her temper but they had acted like children the whole time. Then she talked about her abandoning the mission which made no sense because despite thinking it better for everyone to just retreat and at the very least wait at the entrance and set a trap. Everyone wanted to go forward still so she once again went with them. Was she selfish, to a degree sure? But most everyone was and she had still thought about everyone despite everything. A coward, no she was never a coward. She wanted the mission to succeed and not risk people getting killed. She certainly didn't let down her team nor the school. Though she cared nothing for the school. She didn't have some pride or anything in Vale either. This was not her home and she did not feel obligated to it as others might. Scylla did not care about being a huntress, that wasn't even why she was in the school. It was fine that others wanted to be but to try and make her feel bad by saying she wasn't fit to be a huntress was stupid. She did not just care for herself regardless of what Ridley though. There it was as though she wanted to be left alone and enjoy herself. If she had wanted that then why the hell did she and Cecil essentially pick a fight by talking behind her back in the first place? These people made no sense.
It seemed as if not everything was finished though as Scylla heard something coming in the air towards her and her friends. She quickly turned around and swatted away a big bag of ice with her guitar, exactly like the ones Cecil had right next to him. However, despite just walking away from him, she could no longer see Cecil and some Faunus girl apologized. She did remember what everyone had said for their semblances. Azura's had been illusions and when she said something about what happened Scylla was pretty suspicious. Azura was a nice girl so maybe she simply wanted to be sure no fight occurred as she might think Scylla had a temper. "I'm going off of what I know and my gut but if you did just use your semblance to stop a fight....you didn't have to. If Cecil wants to be a bully and throw ice that's his thing. I'm not going to attack him for it. Assuming he did throw the ice which I'm inclined to believe. Though I do have to ask you something because I'm not getting some things here." She walked over to Azura into the water and looked at her. She truly would at least try to understand exactly why those two were acting like complete assholes to her. Was it simply a matter of they didn't like her because that seemed like a silly reason. Couldn't you just ignore someone who you didn't like?
Scylla would address her question to Azura hoping to be able to get some type of idea on what exactly those two thought like. "So am I missing something because from where I stand so far Cecil and Ridley are being absolute assholes. I understand I'm not easy to get along with sometimes. I'm not perfect that's for sure." Tethys interjected with a smile. "She's very abrasive." Lethe interjected next with a giggle. "She's really loud too." Scylla shook her head almost in embarrassment. "Yes thank you guys. As I was saying, I understand we didn't get off on a great foot on the mission. At this point, though Cecil has threatened to kill my friends and both have trashed talked me multiple times. And now I assume he has tried to hit me with ice. If they don't like me so be it but I don't know why they can't let things be? I have nothing against them personally but this is getting annoying. Up there I walked up to them talking s**t behind my back and so I shot back and figured that would be it. An eye for an eye kind of deal. But clearly not, Ridley almost blew a casket I'm pretty sure trying to stay calm while telling me all about who I am and so forth." She stopped for a second and tried to place herself in their shoes but she really couldn't. Maybe Azura could help her?
"At this point, I just don't understand the motivations of their actions. I don't really understand where they are coming from because from my point of view while I certainly didn't handle everything perfectly by any means. I have not threatened to kill any of them or to attack any of them. So maybe you can help me out and tell me how they work. I don't expect you to know everything but maybe you can help me understand how they think. Since you are closer to them than me? Is it just simply still anger at the whole outskirts thing? I guess I just don't understand people that well. Adam is much better at that than me." Scylla finished while Tethys and Lethe continued to head into the water. They yelled something about her catching up and continued into the water. She smiled at that then turned back to Azura wondering what she would say. If she could clear this all up with any of Team DARK it would be her. Well, Adam of course but he was not on a different team.
Cecil's glaring eyes as he watched her swat away a bursted bag of ice, knocking away the entire buffet of ice like hail as he scowled at her. He turned away and began to walk away from them seeing as how Scylla felt herself to be comfortable to talk to his own party members. He sat down on the sand by the towel that Ridley set up, namely so he could keep an eye on their stuff while he moved ice bags to rest on him once more. He lost his cool, and preferred to keep a relaxed state. Instead he focused his aura once more, mentally freezing his anger to nullify his emotions, instead returning to his monotonous self while he watched Azura, Onyxia, and Scylla's group from a distance. He had to keep watch, at least until the she-devil left, then he could probably have fun with either his group or have fun else-where. He simply chose to observe waters, watch the sun, and cooled himself off using both ice bags, and his aura. He did find it somewhat impressive that the she-devil held her composure for once instead of throwing a tantrum like she did a couple months ago. Yet, it amused his thoughts none as he was trying to keep himself from stooping down to her previous level.

"Your peppy-ness could use work. Luckily for you I'm the number one pep coach in the four nations!" he smiled. "So, yeah! Step it up!" he joked. He grinned at her 'serious' expression. Her 'concerns' of his health. He animatedly gasped. "Oh my! Not green! Anything, but green. That's the only color I can't pull off!" he expressed with exaggeration. He placed his right wrist over over his forehead like a dramatic damsel. "Whatever shall I do?" he smiled at her. He chided himself for staring too long once again, but made no outward expression about it. He just continued to look at the sky. After his laughing fit and offering his hand to her he suddenly found himself underwater looking up at a rippling sun. "How?!" he thought. He breached and walked himself back to shore. "No! You're hilarious." he mocked her with a smile and nudge. He heard her say that she appreciates him and turned red. She looked away quickly and he raised his eyebrow. "Feeling ok?" he asked trying to see her face. "She shouldn't be hot. I just threw her into the water. Maybe she needs something to drink." he thought. "Well, Cecil might, but I think Azura would check him." he laughed. "Wanna get something cool to drink?" he asked standing up and brushing himself off. "Also, I really appreciate you, too. It's nice to share with people sometimes, ya'know?" he chuckled.

Onyxia laughed at the reactions and statements. It felt good to let loose but felt a little sour when a familiar voice sounded. Ignoring the insults from the young girl she shrugged it off. "Look my report was accurate and you only got the position because no one wanted to argue with you about it. And I'm sorry, but that behavior was just as bad as the gut shot I took." Hand resting on the scar that was still there. Looking back at the water to see the waves, how it looked so nice. "I think it was just too much for you at the time." Grabbing her board she turned to the members DARK. "Call out any Mavericks. Those are the best swells." Picking up the board she walked out before starting to paddle, sitting on the board to wait for a wave to come.
Smiling at her she looked to Ivory, pointing the girl on the surfboard. "That’s Onyxia out there. She’s Solo now but will help you." Taking a few licks of her ice cream she kept holding Ivory in a side hug. "Cherry, where do we begin? You’re in charge of Sandcastle. Nova, maybe think of activity for us to do later." Grinning she looked at each teammate. Excitement showing on the fun they could have. "You too Ivory, we've earned this and honestly this will be nice."

Ora putting on the gear made her jump in joy. "WOOOOOHOOOO!!!" Landing back to the beach she took Ora's hand. Walking over to water she jumped right in. "Keep the mouth piece above the water." Laying down she dived a little. Looking at the ocean life as she swam around. Life was always interesting, even one she didn’t see often. Fish swimming, crabs crawling, even plants waving with the current.

He had even avoided doing one of his more elaborate showman entrances that he liked to do occasionally, and worried she may have had a heart attack if he did. His simple, if enthusiastic, hello had caused her to actually jump and gasp. 'Thats a first...was it my horns or was she too distracted?' He silently thought to himself in a small state of shock himself from such a reaction. He only just noticed the fact that she had dropped whatever book she was reading in the process, though she hardly seemed to notice. For a few moments she had just stared at him as he could only stare back in his own shock, unsure of what to do, before she would clear her throat and avoided eye contact with him. 'You offer ice cream and they are already scared of you. Smooth.' He mentally berated himself. He maybe could have been a bit calmer about all this...though that wasn't too likely. After a few moments she would begin to speak, look behind her for some reason, then says that Henryk could sit in the seat opposite hers. Before he did however he noticed her place her hand out to accept the ice cream, which Henryk carefully gave to her so it did not fall. The last thing he needed was for the ice cream being a casualty in this meeting. At her thanks, he would flash a smile to her and bow his head dramatically once the ice cream was safely in her hands. "And thank you for having me. Sorry if I startled you earlier, I forgot to put ribbons on my horns to make them look a little more friendly." He said jokingly while having a big smile, not able to keep a straight face at that.
He would then go to take his seat opposite her, noting again where the book had landed on the ground. If she didn't notice it he would give it to her, he was just mentally debating how he should do so. There were many tricks he had learned in his time at the circus, it was just a matter of choosing which one to use. As he briefly pondered it, he took a few licks of his ice cream before he figured simple may yet be the best for this. He hadn't prepared ahead of time for this so he wasn't ready to pull anything off unfortunately. He could still make it a little fancy, just not as elaborate as he liked. His legs would carefully slide the book to his side of the table where he would angle it up by balancing it on his foot. Casually lowering one hand from the table to his side, he was able to reach it and hold it there for now. Thankfully, with her currently knowing nothing about him, it should hopefully help with it. "How about I make it up to you by showing you a magic trick? Magic may be a dark and dangerous art, but its one i've learned to Master..." He would begin saying, taking on a dramatic tone the longer he spoke. "For instance, I can make things appear from thin air. But not just anything..." Taking a dramatic pause, Henryk would lean in a little as his voice drops to a conspiratorial whisper. "Things you treasure the most." It would be at that moment that he would quickly raise his free hand and bring up the book she had accidentally dropped onto the ground. Smiling, he would continue speaking though no longer in the dramatic tone, ending with a short laugh afterwards. "Though i'll admit this was less black magic and more picking it up after it fell." He would place the book onto the table before going back to eating his ice cream as it had started to melt a little and he did not want to lose it to the sun. Once he had enough that it was in no danger of melting away entirely, he would look back to her and ask a simple question. "So, what brings you to this part of the beach when everyone else is on the sand or in the water?" ✘ Post count: 2 ▄ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ OOC:

Ella Fletcher "Would you like to go for a swim?"
Ella watched the young man as he spoke, and couldn't help but frown when he spoke about him forgetting to bring his ribbons, for some reason she thought for a brief moment that he was being serious - but by his large grin she then realised it was a joke, and smirked while making a brief nod in agreement that the joke was funny. On the inside Ella was really laughing, however on the outside she attempted to remain as serious as possible, she had learned that people took advantage of her when she let her guard down too fast, she was just too good in nature but also terrified of men.
Ella looked intrigued as he spoke of magic, her brow raised in anticipation for what was to come next. She couldn't help but be brought into his trick, she was a fan of magic, but again tried to remain on guard. When her book appeared in his hands, she gasped, totally forgetting she had dropped it on the ground. Ella watched him place the book on the table, and grabbed it straight away, placing it on her lap as though it gave her some reassurance and comfort. "So, are you able to magic up a rabbit for me next?" she said, giving him a slight smirk in amusement to try and show she had a little bit of a humorous streak.
Ella took the young man in a little bit, she was especially curious of his horns, almost feeling a bit envious - she found herself boring, and therefore didn't engage with many others as her confidence was lacking in this area. Ella realised how long she had taken after his question to her, she looked towards the beach and then around her little area and a little smile crept onto her face. "I just guess I prefer to stay a little more covered up, and you know" she said, holding her book up for a moment. "Who needs the beach when you have an incredible book?" she said.
"What about you? Are you waiting for someone before going down to spend time with all your friends?" she said, assuming he already had a crowd of friends due to his confident nature.

She made broken look beautiful and strong look invincible. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
"Come on, coach! If I'm not reaching maximum peppiness that means you are slacking!" She teased, and this time it was her turn to mockingly waggle her finger at him as if she were scolding. A small laugh burst from her lips at his dramatic reaction to turning green. When he questioned if she was feeling alright she glanced over her shoulder at him with a smirk upon her lips. "Of course! Just worried about the green pallor of yours." She teased once more, hoping to distract him enough that he would forget about the odd little moment she'd just had. It wasn't a common occurrence for her cheeks to flush like that... at least not unless the color was caused by her anger. This had been different and honestly a bit confusing. "At least I have something going for me." She casually joked, winking playfully as he commented on her humor.
Swimming back up to shore to stand beside him, she nodded at his words. Cecil definitely might cause trouble... but she trusted Azura to keep things from getting out of hand. Still, she felt a little guilty for leaving them alone to deal with Scylla. She had just needed a moment but it was probably about time they head back. "Yeah, let's go get that drink... and make sure Cecil hasn't frozen anything he wasn't supposed to while we're at it." She joked, letting out another small laugh. Walking back towards their little spot on the beach, with Adam in tow, she looked much happier now. All of the negative emotions Scylla had brought on had melted away like ice cream in the summer sun. That of course was also do to Adam's help. "It is nice sometimes." She agreed, nudging him gently in the side as they walked. It was strange to have someone that she could share some of her more person thoughts with. It definitely wasn't something she was used to, but it was a good kind of strange.
Toes squishing between the golden sand, it didn't take them long to reach the very sulky looking Cecil, pouting on the towel she had laid out earlier. Scanning the area for Azura, she found her still talking with Scylla a few feet away. Ridley sighed softly to herself. A part of her had been hoping the girl would have wondered off by now. Tearing her golden eyed-gaze away, she returned her attention to Adam and Cecil, acting as if she hadn't even noticed Scylla's presence. That was her new tactic, pretend she didn't exist. It was for the best that way. Today was supposed to be fun and besides that, Adam used to be on Scylla's team. The peacekeeper that he was, she knew all this tension wasn't easy on him and she didn't want to be the one to make it any worse then she had already. Besides the fact that she considered Adam her friend, she was the Leader of Team DARK and as such she was supposed to make their lives easier and simpler. Not stressful and full of drama because of her own personal problems.
"You know what I just thought of," She started, looking between the two of them, amber eyes lighting up. "I still owe you guys ice cream. What do you say?" She had promised back in the medical tent to buy them a treat for all of their efforts in the outskirts. The comment had been partially a joke, but what better time for ice cream than a hot, sunny day on the beach. Glancing over at Azura who was still conversing with Scylla. Ridley had no intentions of extending the invitation to Scylla, or offering any sort of peace offering. Ridley had had her fill of the abrasive little brat for one day, so they would just have to wait until Azura made her way back. That or go and then bring her something back.

'And thankfully it wasn't the type of shock but of surprise. A narrow line to walk, but when it works its worth it.' He silently thought to himself. Seeing her grab it straight away as it disappeared over her side of the table made him think it was something she treasured rather than his jest of it, so he was glad he went for simple over something more elaborate as she likely would've noticed its absence too soon to pull it off. Not to mention she may have felt pretty bad over its absence, so hes glad it turned out like this. Given that shes been in relative silence so far, not even laughing at his horn joke, he was surprised when she mentioned magicking up a rabbit. He thought she was serious for a moment and was trying to work out if he could do it before he noticed her smirk and couldn't help smiling himself at it. 'It seems she has a sense of humor as well.' He thought to himself, glad he happened across her to eat his ice cream. Especially if she had more in store as he always enjoyed a good back and forth in jokes.
There was a bit of a pause after he asked why she was here rather than on the beach, presumably for her to figure out her answer. He presumed it was to come up with either a witty answer or for a more serious one, he couldn't be certain yet as she seemed a mix of both. Rather than notice that she was taking him in, he thought it was merely her being lost in thought as he himself thought of how exactly he was going to magic up a rabbit here. 'Or at least come up with a good reason why I can't.' He thought, hopefully coming up with something entertaining. He also found he was more than curious to see if her wit would be able to match his in this as he found it enjoyable so far. He was broken from his thoughts as he noticed her look out the beach, his gaze trying to follow hers but not sure what to focus on, before it returned to the area they were in. Maybe comparing the two but he couldn't be certain of that. As a small smile crept on her face, Henryk tilted his head a little curiously before hearing her answer. As she mentioned staying covered up, a few quips came to mind but he waited as he noticed her hold up her book before mentioning that it was better than the beach. Henryk couldn't help but laugh a little at the dramatics of it all as he felt the tables turned on him there. 'Always leave a little to the imagination, let your audience fill it in, and your performance will benefit.' He silently thought to himself, though he knew she didn't mean it that way. She then went on to ask why he was here and if he were waiting on anyone to join his friends at the beach. At this his head tilted a little and he got a little serious for once. "Me? I don't have anyone i'm waiting on right now or anyone to join at the beach. I only just arrived here yesterday so I don't know anyone yet. Well besides you now at least." He would pause for a moment as he said this, realizing himself that he knew no one quite yet as he had temporarily forgotten that. Shaking his mind, he visibly seemed to brighten up a little as his smile returned. "Besides, I plan to make a dramatic dive into the beach and I can hardly have my ice cream with me for that. The fish may steal it." He lightly joked, making an exaggerated gesture of looking around in case he suspected such a thing to happen then and there.
He would eat a bit more of his ice cream, cone included now as he paused in thought for a moment. Apparently lost in thought. It almost looked like he was thinking of something serious, though that was the furthest thing from his own mind. He was just trying to organize his disorganized thoughts the best he could, as impossible a task as that was, in terms of everything else she had mentioned earlier. Then, as if a eureka moment happened, he smiled and began to speak again. "So to answer your earlier questions, I cannot magic up a rabbit yet...I can only do so at night. Hes a very particular rabbit and refuses to perform unless it is at night. But I assure you, Mr. Cottontail is something you would never want to miss." He would pause again, smiling, as his tone was a mix of jest and seriousness. Which part was which he would let her decide as he would then continue. "For me at least, I fully intend to enjoy all the beach has to offer. Because while a book may fill your imagination with wonder, I can read anywhere but I don't often go to a beach. If you'd like, seeing as I have no one else to help me with my performances, you can join me on the beach when I go down there?" As Henryk spoke his voice grew a little more passionate with each word. He hadn't been to a beach in a long time and wouldn't miss it for the world. In his mind it made no sense to stay here and read rather than enjoy the beach but then he always preferred to be active than inactive. He would enjoy having her accompany him if she said yes, but would be fine otherwise. Though he primarily offered it to get her to enjoy the beach more rather than stay over here reading. He liked to have everyone included in things, unless they were the target of one of his pranks, as he was a performer at heart. ✘ Post count: 3 ▄ ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄ ▄ OOC:
"You..." Jentel looked at Daenery's combining what she had last said with what he had just said now 'What he'd like to do' since his mask hid his facial expressions for the most part he only carried a serious look in his snake like eyes. One could say that they were eyes that made no mistake in what he just said. Of course...wild imaginations aside what it really turned out being was he had simply been at a loss for words as he finished the sentence he was attempting to compose. "You...want to know what I'd like to do?" He was often asked this question by the young master in which he could confidently reply every time to serve him to the fullest of his capabilities and that was all. But to say that here. Would be essentially abandoning one fidelity for another. That thought caused a welling in his chest for once he had to actually decide something he'd actually like to do.
"I..." thinking, It was then at this moment their leader grabbed both their hands and dragged both the submissive members towards a food booth. At the same time it was now becoming apparent Ulysses may have opted to stay at the academy. It made sense after all, gallivanting in the hot sun in her suit would be like running around in an oven, and with how she had explained her semblance...well we didn't need super mutants rising from the depths of the ocean anytime soon not to mention nuclear explosions. Still he couldn't help but pity her situation at the thought of it. Certainly every now and then she must have wanted to normal things like a normal girl.
After being given their orders with a bead of sweat he'd defer to Daenerys. "I guess we're waiting in line." He laughed and let loose a sigh of relief. While it was sudden and heavy handed the little loli's assertion made it so he no longer had to decide on something himself. This was fine. "Ah." He'd stutter before readjusting himself to stand straight once more. "But I'm certain it won't take all of us to wait in line. Do enjoy yourself Madame Daenerys, Lady Feng, you are at the beach after all, tis a place to be enjoyed." Jentel would say subtracting himself from the equation as if he were not worthy of enjoyment himself. In truth, the beach was getting rather crowded. Keeping up with all the voices and everything going on at once. It would be tedious for him to say the least.
He'd look next door to see a surf shop portraying swimsuits. Though for some strange reason he was looking at the female suits as oppose to the males suits as he placed a hand upon his chest. He wondered, something, but that would remain an unknown. He'd then redirect his attention to the line ahead of him. A cow faunus? Or was it simply she wore spotty attire. Was that a horn? It was hard to tell. Whilst distracted something would vibrating or ringing of Daenerys. It would be her scroll. She would be receiving a string of text messages right now from a familiar number.
"Hey, hey I heard the school was going to the beach." ... "I hope you wore something sexy to get JeJe's attention. He's pretty dense." ...
After the second text a man bumped into Daenery's "Sorry bout that miss." he had a gruff voice as he tipped his dark fedora like hat and continued to walk. Her phone would then ding again.
"Anyway, I realized JeJe doesn't have a suit over there. Check your suit er, whatever your wearing. He said he made the drop."
Confusing as that was, should Daenery's check her person as if some sort of reverse pick pocketing or magic trick within the confines of a pocket...if she had pockets. If not it would be in the swimsuits string begging how and when, and if that was really ok. Wherever it was found a total equivalent of 138$ in Lien would be found. As if he already knew she would recieve another text.
"Get him a suit, use the rest for whatever kids do...and if things get steamy you have my blessing. xoxo heart"

Life, is like the ocean. It can be rigid, or it can be still... ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
One less innocent and naive than Dani might have gotten a chuckle out of the accidental innuendo to leave Jentel's lips. The tiny, jellyfish faunus didn't even think twice about it. Though, if she had caught on it could be guessed that her cheeks would flood with color as they often did in situations like that. Instead she simply waited for him to find the words to express his thoughts. Really she should have expected such a reaction. From what she had learned of him in the past couple of months, what he himself might want was usually the last thing on his mind. Though, Dani asking such things was also not uncommon. When he finally did find the words, she met his gaze head on, which was a bit out of nature for the timid creature walking just beside him. "Of course I do, Jentel. You are here to have fun... same as anyone else." There was a strangely determined glance in her amethyst eyes, but it lasted just a moment before she dropped her chin and her eyes wandered back out to the sea.
She was still listening as she gave him a moment to think on his answer, but she looked a bit distracted. Her thoughts drifted to that of the icy, crystalline waters she so desperately longed to be enveloped in. The girl, usually so uncomfortable in her environment, in her own skin, was clearly in her element. There was even a dreamy little smile on her lips. Beneath the golden rays of the afternoon sun, her faunus traits stood out more than ever. The vibrant pink shine of her hair, the gem-like color of her eyes, and the most prominent of all, the iridescent glow of her skin. When the light hit it just right, it seemed to glitter and glisten like the waves. Clearly Dani was not completely there when Feng approached them from behind. Her thoughts had drifted to far of memories, carried by the gentle sounds of the waves crashing on the shore and the laughter that bubbled around her, carried on the breeze in the strangest of symphonies. As timid as she was, it was likely that she would have jumped when the ball of sand hit her head anyway, but in her distraction the reaction was followed by the meekest of squeals. Her hands immediately flew to her mouth, her cheeks darkening until they were the equivalent shade of her hair.
Keeping her gaze carefully trained away from Jentel and Feng, she shook out her wavy strands and ran her fingers through them in an attempt to get the sand out. In all honesty, the chunk of sand was mellow for Feng. Daenerys had suffered much worse attacks. The beach seemed to be calming the girl... at least slightly. Moving on from the situation, silent as ever and acting as if nothing had happened at all, Dani let their tiny leader drag them towards the smell of food. Only a smell that was probably mouth-watering to most, was nauseating to her. The smell of cooking meat was sickening to the little vegetarian. However, she was much too polite to mention it, there was also the fear that Feng might force the food on her anyway. If she was lucky she could slip away quietly unnoticed and possibly pawn it off to someone who would enjoy it more than her. Despite of everything, she couldn't help but find the child-like pout on Feng's face a bit cute. She was like a kitten. A tiny, ferocious kitten. So letting out a soft sigh, Dani relented to waiting in line next to Jentel while Feng, hopefully, aimed the rest of her attacks at someone other than her.
A small smile tugged at her lips at Jentel's comment and the laugh that followed. "It would appear that way, yes." There was really no point in arguing with Feng. She always got what she wanted, or else. It was about the time that Jentel began to mention it didn't take all of them to wait in line that she felt her scroll vibrate. Odd... She thought to herself, pulling the device out with an entirely baffled expression on her face. The only alerts she ever got on her scroll was the occasional call from her brother or the announcements from the school... but she couldn't think of a single reason why either of those things would be happening right now. When she saw the steady stream of texts a look of surprise pulled up her eyebrows. She didn't have the number saved, but the number was familiar. She knew exactly who it was before she even started reading them. The girl couldn't help but wonder how he had gotten her number... though she supposed she shouldn't really be surprised either. After reading the second text, Dani felt the heat creeping slowly up her neck and into her cheeks. Ducking her head she let her pink strands fall in front of her face, hopefully concealing the blush from her teammates and anyone else who happened to be watching.
At that point she was bumped into by a man much bigger than she. Stumbling forward, her scroll flew from her hands and landed in the sand a couple feet in front of her. "Erm... it's alright." She murmured, barely audible as her cheeks flushed darker. Hearing the next little ding, she jumped and rushed forward, picking up the device before anyone could think to peek. Brushing the sand from the screen, she read over the next text, once again looking rather baffled. However, as she found the wad of cash tucking into the bottoms of her bikini, her violet eyes widened and the color in her face deepened once more. At this point she was feeling rather hot and flustered, her face equivalent to the shade of a tomato. One would think it impossible for the poor girl to be any redder, but as she looked down at what she knew would be the final message for now, she blushed further at the underlying meaning of the digital words. Burying her face in her hands, she shook her head lightly, pink curls tumbling gently about her waist. It took her several moments to recover herself enough to find the ability to speak again. When she did, she kept her face securely hidden beneath her hair. "I'll be right back Jentel."She said softly, slipping away before their was time for questions. Or worse, for Feng to notice and stop her.
Dani returned nearly fifteen minutes later, looking significantly less flushed but still a tad nervous. She hadn't known what kind of swim suit to get Jentel but knew Feng would have never allowed them both to leave. Not to mention that she wasn't sure Jentel would have actually purchased the swimsuit himself. There was also the fact that a part of her hoped the line would have moved enough that her two teammates would have been served already and the prospect that if that were the case she could possibly get away with not taking a plate of food at all. Possibly find some fruit or something rather than the meat that was grilling. Coming to stand in line beside him once more, she offered a small bag to him. Seeing as she hadn't known what to get... she had picked up multiple, figuring he would be comfortable with one of the options. Or rather, she hoped he would. "I um... I was told to get this for you." Dani informed him a bit timidly, sure that those words would be enough to clue him in on what exactly had just happened.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ But, in the end, it is always beautiful.
Danaë would keep laying on the beach, her body dealing with the heat poorly as it always did. She wasn't as light as people thought she was, she was actually heavy for a bird, and she kept her heat in far too well. She had no clue as to why she was like this, it seemed like a death wish. She would wait for Narx for a few minutes, but normally it didn't take him this much time to use the restroom. She would then sneeze a few times. It was almost as if someone was talking s**t about her.
She would get up, with great difficulty. She would go towards the bathrooms. She would see that chick that she had tried to fight when she made Narx feel uncomfortable. She would reach into her hair and pull, and a throwing dagger would come loose. She had tied it in a type of knot that made it easy to take it out. She would then pull on another such knot, producing another one. Most people didn't know this, but Narx did, she had 15 throwing daggers on her person, along with her regular daggers. She did this because she didn't feel safe anymore.
She would watch as she would reach other to Hazumi, whom had her man in her arms, holding an icepack onto his head. What had they done to him? She felt uneasy on her feet from both anger and frustration at herself. She had given Narx some space, as he had asked, and here is was, now on the ground, and she didn't know what was happening. She would stay behind the wall, the only thing loud about her was her heartbeat, which was drowned out by the sound of the beach.
