DMC Itokawa

When Delta started to talk again, started to answer more people, he was surprised when he heard the familiar Thai language. he didn't hear it so much since moving to this city and to hear it, to have a bit of information in all this, felt good. he felt a bit grounded and that was good - he needed it.

Quick to speak up, to talk to something which understood him and spoke his language. To find out whatever he could...and to perhaps share something. He had some understanding of what was going on, though it was limited. he wished there was someone here who could translate between everyone else here and himself - it would help.

"คุณมีเวลาที่จะเรียนรู้เกี่ยวกับคนและสถานที่ที่พวกเขาได้มาจาก - ประวัติศาสตร์ของเราหรือไม่? สายพันธุ์ของเรามีหลายวัฒนธรรมที่แตกต่างจากภาษาที่เราพูด" He wasn't trying, or even aware, that he might be joining in on the plans of the ashen blond General but he was trying to gain some favor from this being. If not favor than perhaps he at least was hoping for it to not attack them again or let anything else attack them. here was peaceful when compared to the other rooms. Perhaps if this being was occupied, and approached in a certain way, it would keep them safe?

Unlike some of the people in the room, who seemed more inclined to yell at the child AI or declare that she was going to get destroyed--not that he could blame them for being angry about the whole containment thing--Encke was more inclined to answer her questions. When she asked, after rubbing at his ear because of that annoying screech, he smiled.

"I suspect it has something to do with our starseeds," replied Encke, tapping his chest as a way to show this. "We have powers granted to us by planets in space." Or some kind of Chaos queen, he guessed. He wasn't really sure how Negaverse power worked, other than it was a perversion. He supposed the Dark Mirror Senshi were the same, but he didn't spend too much time focusing on that. "That must sound strange, but it gives us abilities unlike normal humans. Magic, strength, speed, the ability to see your Lambda Unit, I suppose."

They hadn't exactly gone looking for the strange monument that decided to show up in their city particularly, but when they stumbled upon it, they were definitely able to see it.

As he listened to the AI talk, it seemed that she was starting to get ... confused. There were more curious responses from her, remarks about memes on the internet--he was sure there were plenty of people there who could fill in the aliens on memes--and then she just ... cut herself off.

Did Delta say she liked them?

"Are you okay, Delta?" asked Encke, cautiously. A nearby lieutenant seemed concerned, too. Unusual, to see concern from an agent, but this AI was likely in control of their ability to leave at the moment...

Corrupt Sailor Fafnir

Thump Thump Thump… Fafnir’s eyes widened as a… ******** giant bird appeared and fixed eyes on him, stumping its way over to where he waited with Sweetite. Terror, like a mouse with a real crow, flooded him and rooted him in place as it loomed, crystals jutting from its strange, massive body.

It was going to eat him. This was what this all led to. He was going to get ripped apart by that wicked looking beak and he’d never see the outside of these stone walls….

But then it head butted him, prompting a squeak that wasn’t manly OR brave, and… cuddled down between the two of them? Frozen in place, dumbly shifting to keep from being knocked over, Fafnir could only stare at the thing as it made itself at home, acting like a pet that had found its people.

The ******** WAS this thing?

He barely heard the answer to his shouted question, but the answer wasn’t something he cared to hear anyway. She wasn’t going to let them out, and he still didn’t understand why they were facing her and not more of this… containment. The others pulled information about her past and this vessel, or building, or whatever it was, but it wasn’t anything he felt even remotely comfortable with. It was like this whole place was an advanced… meat packing plant and slaughterhouse. And it had been operating for longer than he could really understand.

“We need to get out of here.” Fafnir said as he worked his way around the… bird thing, leaning till he could catch sight of Sweetite. “I don’t want to just stand around till that… thing decides its time to try to shove us into tubes again.”

He lowered his voice, frown lines forming between his brows. “It says it controls something… I’d take a chance that destroying it could get us a way out.”

General Zircon

Zircon was done with this tower and anything it had to offer. While it was heartening that no automaton was any match for a well coordinated team of Metallia's finest (and some other people, she supposed), she'd had quite enough of anything to do with being contained, and no friendly looking alien child would deter her.

"We're leaving," she muttered under her breath to Sinoite, distrustful of the 'healing' square that had been provided for them. Let the others ask ridiculous questions of this programmed girl, who clearly had no interest in their safety or health except as it applied to her program. Zircon would be no one's experiment, nor would she allow any of the subordinates she'd collected to come to harm.

In the process of reaching for Sinoite's hand to lead him away, she caught sight of a familiar feather headdress in the crowd and started to shove her way between the rest of the fodder, the senshi and knights in between Zircon and her corrupt. "Are you hurt?" she spoke lowly, looking for signs of injury, and then her glance traveled up a swath of blue and purple to look at Fafnir, her lips pursed. He shouldn't have been here. Neither of them should have been here.

(She made no notice of the hell bird. It was beneath her.)

"Hold hands," she ordered of the senshi pair, and then she reached forward for Sweetite and back for Sinoite, who had been left to the crowd. With all four of them in contact, she closed her eyes and called for Negaspace--and scowled when it gave no answer, leaving them stuck in this facility still. Zircon turned her gaze upon the Delta figure, her eyes narrowing, and she stepped forward to put herself between her and Sinoite, should it come to a fight.

She counted at least two other generals in the room, as well as Camelot, his aura as oppressive as always. She'd yet to see any of the true terrors of the Negaverse present--Obsidian, Cinnabar, Labyrinthite--but the raw power in this room could fell armies and overall had little interest in complying to Delta's request. They were leaving the obelisk, one way or another--it was just a matter of how much some of them would bleed first. The better their plan, the less the people who mattered would bleed.

"Teleportation's still out," she murmured in hushed tones, matching Fafnir's dark expression. She watched as sensors blinked from blue to red behind the unit and the wrinkle in her brow deepened, glancing from Delta back to the others. "When this comes to blows--and it will--I want you to stay together, watch your backs, strike when there are openings." There was so much she wanted to say to these new recruits, so many ways to survive, but she lacked the time and the privacy to share her hard-won secrets. When they got back, training was getting doubled for sure. She would not have them caught so unaware a second time. They deserved better than this.

With the new senshi in tow, Acubens made her way back over to her little clutch, resting a heavy hand on Abstracta's shoulder, noticing also the witchy young chap with her as well. Another Dark Mirror she hadn't known about... well the more the merrier she guessed. She released Itokawa and gently reassured a quickly bristling Mithra with a squeeze of her bicep.

"You and me both, kiddo. Just remember to take care of the little ones as feircly as you fight when the s**t hits the fan... and I do mean when it does." Acubens side-eyed the newest nega to join them, though he was clearly friendly with Mithra. Still, the constant presence of agents made Acubens' stomach curl and she swore on everything that she held hold that she could hear spectral laughter on a wind that was not there, whispering around her like a sickening omen.

Still you haunt me...

Acubens closed her eyes tight to try and block out the flash of memories very suddenly flooding her mind, honing instead on Benitoite's voice.

What the hell happened to piping down and listening? Acubens tossed him an acrid look, green eyes narrowing to toxic slits. But then she listened. Really listened.

Oh...

"Humanity is... complex... Delta... as I'm sure you have noticed in your research. If you want to know our chemical composition, our internet can provide that... no need to destroy us. However... that is the composition of our bodies... not our humanity. Deconstruction won't tell you what makes up a human soul. That comes from something else."

General Arsenopyrite

Arseno grinned under his mask. If there was one thing he could count on with Beni, it was a plan. And if Arseno was correct, Beni was probably trying to make the program, Delta, question what it was actually doing. It reminded him of a certain boss in World of Warcraft, Algalon the Observer who had declared the world in need of "re-orginiating" and the raid had to defeat it to make it realize that the world was worth saving.

It wouldn't quite be like that in this case though, there would probably be less fighting, and it seemed as though Delta was here only to capture a certain number of subjects and do what it was programmed to do with them rather than worry about the rest of the planet.

"Right. I'm with you." Arseno said, whispering back, and letting Beni do the talking first. Arseno only now agreed that being 'nice' to the program might be of use to them, only in the way that it might make it change it's 'mind'. Some of the others were joining in, however, when one senshi spoke up telling the program exactly how senshi got their powers, Arseno had to quickly go and grab Mithra's arm, as she was about to go and clearly either punch or kill the senshi. She looked back at him, her eyes telling him she was going to kill that other senshi. Arseno looked at her with a look that said, "not now, later." She growled, but backed off, he could still tell that she was seething though.

He felt sorry for that senshi in case they ever went up against her.

Since Beni seemed to want to take advantage of the situation, Arseno would try to help. "You've been reading our internet. I hope that you have been learning quite a bit about us, and I'm sure if you ignore most of the vitrol that's spouted on there, you will know that humans are compassionate beings, beings with free will." He wouldn't mention any mental illnesses that left people out of control of their actions. "So, even if we are ordered to do something, we have the choice not to. Why would your creators not give you that choice Delta? Why should you have to do what they say?" The problem with Arseno was that he was not good with words under pressure.

Something he would have to work on once he actually had to start working with patients. "Do you like your Creator, Delta? Are you sure about that?" If they could start to get the program to question what it was doing...

DMS Super Mithra

Mithra was practically foaming at the mouth with fury. She couldn't believe that one of the senshi was STUPID enough to actually go and tell a hostile program where they got their ******* powers from! What the **** was wrong with people and why were senshi so stupidly naieve as to go and tell a program all of their secrets?!? She felt herself moving towards the senshi, ready to kill him. She wasn't having a repeat of that stupid Altea thing. Too many of her fellow Dark Mirror had been dumb enough to feed that queen all of the information she needed to know, and look how that had turned out! What was wrong with all of these people?! Did they not have any common sense?!?!?

She was taken out of her rage as she felt an a hand around her arm and she whirled around, ready to punch whomever it was who was holding her arm when she saw that it was Arseno. She cooled down a bit, knowing that he had only done it to stop her, but he gave her a look, and she knew that any punching would have to wait a bit. But if I ever see that senshi while I'm out... she thought, still seething.

She moved back, this time more towards Arseno, as she knew that he would keep her in check, and probably keep her from making some terrible decisions based on how angry she was. It seemed however, that he had been talking to another General, and they had plans of some sort... she would let them do it. She knew if she said anything now, it would most likely be to antagonize the dumb program. He had already let go of her at this point, and while she was sad about it, she knew now wasn't the time for any romantic gestures.

She felt another reassuring squeeze and realized that Acubens was back, and quite a bit of rage flew away from Mithra. At least she had one person here, besides Arseno, that she could count on to go in with fists flying.

General Benitoite

Oh how he was proud of his fellow General for getting what he was playing at for a game, and Acubens had joined in as well. Now if others would join in as well they might just be able to cause enough of a sway in Delta that it could, and would, help them in some manner. It would be suspicious of him to wander off, towards others, to spread the message but he wished he could. The more the better as he figured.

But three was enough, hopefully others would catch on and join in on their own. He knew others here had been at this game, this war, long enough they had to keep on their toes. Hopefully they'd get this new strategy and way of war and join in.

"Yes, as he said. Humans, if you've read up on us enough, have the choice to do what they want and to not do things as well. We have freewill to make decisions and we enjoy life. It's something I hope you've seen from your exploration of the internet - to see how varied people are and just how much we enjoy things." That they enjoyed living like everyone in this room liked the idea of living and was going to try and continue doing just that.

"Do you enjoy anything Delta?" He didn't want to go too far, there was a fine line in his opinion, but he was hoping to keep his toes right on that line and not over step.

Glancing about the room he wondered what was going to happen when s**t hit the fan, because it would without a doubt. "Acubens...Arseno. When s**t hits the fans get the weaker ones out first. If we sway Delta...there will be a fight between Delta and whatever it's talking to. We don't know if it can control Delta...so there may be some Doctor Jekyll and Mr. Hyde thing going on....or something else will try and kill us...and Delta may be limited in what it can do to help us. I want us all home though."

Looking around, slowly, he finally took the time to see who was really here. What he found was promising, power wise, and ohhh...another General. "Arseno...stay with Acubens and this group. Keep up the plan. I'll continue as well. Acubens, cheesecake after this if we make it out." Hoping to keep the dark mirror senshi working with him.

That said he headed off towards Zircon. "General..." Greeting her in a soft voice, not wanting to gain too much attention at the moment. He'd seen her here and there but it had been awhile, and he didn't know much about her in all honesty. "You and yours have been well I hope?" He questioned, his way of greeting her at the moment. Given the situation they were all in he figured it best to inquire after everyone's health.

"If you don't mind...I believe I might have a plan to help aid us in getting out of here sooner rather than later. It may cause a good deal of chaos but it should, I hope, help us escape." He did hope the other would hear him out, but he didn't know much on her really. This was a General he might have to deal with more in the future.

General Zircon

Given the choice of going into combat headfirst or planned, Zircon was normally the sort to err on the side of caution, preferring contingencies be set in place and tactics well thought out. However, the seconds that went by while she waited for signs of the tides turning were a special sort of agony that set her hair on edge, pulled at her shoulders until she felt frozen and stiff. There seemed to be no particular source to the humming around them, no power source to destroy and free them all, and so it meant fight. That being said, Zircon needed to save her energy to teleport them all back to safety when the alliance of convenience was inevitably broken and all hell broke loose--but if she held back in the battle to come, there might not be subordinates to take to Negaspace.

While she considered her options, she eyed the other blonde general on his approach, knowing him better by face than by name but registering as familiar all the same. "We are managing," she replied, professional but curt as she eyed the company he'd joined them from. Benitoite was a seasoned veteran of the Negaverse, a general for many years and an authority--but Zircon was a general now, too, and she didn't have to grovel at his feet because he'd earned his stripes.

His proposition was about as interesting as the company he kept, namely the mirror senshi--was he just trying to play for allies in the moment, or did he really think that the Dark Kingdom had any room for competition? "I'm listening," she added, tentative but willing to hear him out. Mayhem was not her specialty, but she'd picked up a trick or two along the way, and the reality was that there was safety in numbers when it looked like a fight was inevitable. "What did you have in mind?"

General Benitoite

Right to business, that was good, they didn't have time to talk too much or play at being nice. This was still a war...just a different enemy at the moment, as well as a different style of fighting. "I assume you've been listening to what's been asked and the answers. You've noticed...our host didn't seem to understand the idea of compassion not too long ago. Now it seems Delta is feeling something for us...something it would seem others, those above her, don't feel." Casual about hos he spoke, though he kept his voice low, he nodded towards the screen where red writing of some sort had appeared. "No doubt they use that to communicate, or so I'm assuming. The point is...is Delta is learning and feeling." That was the key to this, in his opinion, he was willing to bet he was right on what he was figuring.

If he was right, as he assumed, they'd be able to play this off but to what end...well he knew a fight would no doubt happen. The question was where would they all fall in the fight. "I do believe we can pit Delta against the higher up by playing to the weakness - her seemingly new found feelings for us. She doesn't want to harm us it seems, something the higher ups disagree with, pit her against them. If we do that we'll get some fireworks, no doubt, but it may allow us time to escape...or we can get access to the higher ups and we can take them out. Either way it gets us out of this room and gains us an ally with knowledge we don't have...and potentially some power we don't posses." Delta would be useful, though in what ways he didn't know, and that was something they needed.

"What do you say to the idea?" He questioned as he raised a brow, giving his fellow blond a questioning look. He did wonder what she would think of his plan, since he really didn't know a thing about her. He was going to need to find out about her once they got out of this mess.

He knew his idea was a risk, it could get people hurt, but it had a lot of potential as far as he saw it. He just hoped his fellow General would see it as well.

Sweetite

Sense of relief washed over her as she spotted Zircon pushing her way through the crowd towards her. Seeing the other lackey attached to her figurative tailcoats wasn’t nearly as appealing but the sight of her General was all Sweetite needed to know that everything was going to be okay.

“I’m fine, ma’am,” she responded dutifully. There were scratches and a few numb fingertips from where she’d been zapped by the electrical currents but the young woman wasn’t about to admit her mistakes in front of the older, purple haired boy. Sino didn’t get to hear how she’d failed at parts - only how she excelled, only how she could make Zircon proud of her.

At the order, she immediately took hold of Fafnir’s hand without a second thought (because holding Sino’s sounded about as appealing as getting shocked again). The blonde General took her other one, the young corrupt pleased that they’d soon be out of the hellish tower in no time.

Or at least, so it had seemed.

When her commander was unable to teleport them, she felt her heart begin to sink into the depths of her already churning stomach. Oh no. What were they going to do?

Zircon’s instructions failed to ease her worries, the senshi tensing up at the thought of having to battle her way towards the exit.

Surely things would still be okay, now that she’d been reunited with her flock…. right?

Lieutenant Strengite

Strengite might not be the best of fighters but she was very perceptive so when Beni didn't reply to her flirting like he normally does, laughing it off or flirting back, she knew he wasn't in the mood for her shenanigans. His loss. "You don't look too bad yourself, I just ended up a bit shocked on one of the 'games' but I'll live." Silver eyes took in the smaller General before once more eyeing the rest that clustered around her boss. "Well that's no fun but I guess I can do that," Only mostly faking the pout she presented Strengite backed off and just hung back, watching the Q&A proceed around her. The urge to make a sarcastic quip was squashed forcefully.

She absently rose a brow when Delta answered her question. It knew about memes? It studied the internet? Well wasn't that interesting. It made her want to ask some more asinine questions like if it liked cat videos or dog ones. Or something else equally stupid but she held her tongue especially when another general (Arsenopyrite) joined Beni's little harem, it wasn't lost on her that he had mostly girls around him. God she hoped her outfit wouldn't have that many layers! The lieutenant eyed the new fellow and contemplated messing with him only to toss that idea out... for a few different reasons. Primarily because Delta was apparently having an argument with someone they couldn't see or hear. That did not bode well for the large gathering here, nor did those red symbols flashing across the screen behind the hologram. What's the other reason you ask? Because now wasn't the time... later maybe but not now.

The busty nega officer could feel the tension rise in her, the feeling that a fight was rapidly brewing and there was nothing she could do about it. When the new general quietly murmured his concern Strengite silently agreed, you can say that again bird boy. Even the brightly colored brunette (Mithra) was itching for a fight, not that the lieutenant really blamed her, she wanted a good fight too. One that wasn't a giant kids game, one where she could feel the flesh beneath her knuckles give way. Apparently though Beni had a slightly different plan then just punching someone. A more devious plan.

One that would hopefully pit the hologram against it's creator. The ashen blonde general spoke up, asking questions about what Delta had found out on the web as two more people joined them, another girl and a new boy. The girl (Acubens) had a pretty cool purple get up and curdles Strengite envied, the boy was all green and gold and plant-y(Itokawa) and honestly looked a bit lost as far as Strengite was concerned.

Even as the other general and the DM senshi started to pepper Delta with leading questions Beni apparently needed to further his plan. Her silver eyes narrowed in suspicion when he started to warn the two, Acubens and Arseno apparently, to get them out of here when it all blew up in their faces. She wasn't entirely happy with that plan. Strengite wanted to fight not run! And he was going off too!

Since he hadn't given her a direct order she didn't have to stay back. However, no matter how much it galled her, Beni would be disappointed if she didn't stick with the rest. She was just a lowly lieutenant who honestly stunk at fighting. "Beni... be careful there is a Princess here. Like these 'chicks' here." She muttered her warning before the chibi general left the group to go talk to someone else.

DMS Super Ptolemaeus: 60/60

Acubens was soon off to gather up more of what she seemed to refer to as her 'brood' and Ptolemy saluted her as she left him in charge until she returned. As much fun as he had been having getting to know new people in their previous room, there was something comforting about seeing familiar folk again during this time of confusion, distress and panic, even if it that meant they, too, were stuck in the same predicament. At least they were all in this together and it was Ptolemaeus' general policy that the more, the merrier.

As long as no one tried to hurt or kill each other, which hadn't seemed to be the case so far, he was convinced things would turn out fine. After all, they'd each already been through so much. Heck, if his ears weren't deceiving him, he was pretty sure that was a lieutenant attempting to hit on Benitoite. He sneered, glad she could be at ease enough to do so, especially with someone so high above her rank. But Ptolemy also thought knew from experience that Benitoite seemed to be easygoing enough and a good man, which may have been why Acubens didn't mind leaving himself and the other Dark Mirrors with the general.

Studying the lieutenant, he wondered if her teasing was really a sign of her confidence and lack of tension with their situation or if it might have simply been her way of dealing with stress. Regardless, it amused him to know that people would not be deterred from being themselves even under the most nerve-wracking conditions. Furthermore, before Benitoite had gone to address another Negaverse general, Ptolemy heard the lieutenant warn him about their Dark Mirror Royal present and realized that she was, indeed, aware of their circumstances. Not only was there this Delta entity to worry about, but the higher ranks of other factions as well.

It was interesting that a lieutenant was paying such close attention and Ptolemy thought this went to show just how well-disciplined an organization the Negaverse seemed to be when even their lowest-ranking members exercised the greatest caution. He thought it was too bad she seemed more concerned about the other factions than the unknown opposition that had brought them all here, but he also knew the Negaverse wasn't likely the most powerful group in the world for no reason. No matter who it was, they didn't seem to underestimate others when it came to potential threats. They didn't mess around. Perhaps right now, Princess Leto simply appeared to pose a larger threat than little Delta.

Thinking of Delta, he resumed tuning in to the answers she was providing those bold enough to ask her questions. From what she said, it seemed 'Lambda' might have been the name of the obelisk or the entities sent with it to Earth or something similar. Assuming these beings weren't from Earth already, which was only conjecture on his part. It was somewhat worrying to know that there had been previous assignments with previous specimens of 'sentient biological' that had been obtained and even dissected. Ptolemy pondered if they might have been powered beings like themselves, but from the sounds of it, Delta and the others had never encountered powered humans before. She didn't sound like she understood their magic or abilities.

However, she did know of the internet, seemed to be in charge of a security unit, and was...made to engage with sentient biologicals? He wasn't sure why they hadn't sent her out before the other units that had tried to contain them since reason suggested that talking to the specimens first might have made them more willing to cooperate, but who knew? Perhaps the ones they were dealing with operated with entirely different logic.

Despite being friendly and polite, Delta claimed not to have been programmed with compassion and the super senshi thought he was beginning to understand why. If Delta had compassion, it was possible she would be able to sympathize with those she had been charged to collect and, as she stated herself, it would have been against her prime directive to have let them go free. However, if she truly had artificial intelligence and could think and learn from interacting with others, that meant she could still find out what it meant to be compassionate regardless of her initial programming.

Her final, uncertain confession of 'liking them' only seemed to support Ptolemaeus' theory. Though it was unclear what she was saying she liked - her missions, this 'Creator', or perhaps even the people bound for deconstruction and dissection, the fact that she could like something and was uncertain about it meant she could change. And change, the super thought, would have been a good thing in this case. Especially if it meant breaking the cycle of repeated history regarding what was suggested of Lambda's previous assignments and subdued specimens.

Lieutenant Sinoite

Finding that Sweetite was in fact alive and currently in the company of one of Zircon's....other teammates made the lieutenant...a few mixed emotions. She had survived, perhaps stronger for it. She had proved capable of herself, while he still followed Zircon like a dog on a leash.

He gritted his teeth at the command, almost hissing at the idea of touching hands with Sweetie but it was Zircon who took his and he found himself relaxing. He'd be free soon, and he could get whatever medical attention he needed for the bruised if not broken ribs from the attack.

When they did not teleport out, the pain and the annoyance of the questions asked by the group made Sinoite snap.

"Why are they asking questions in different languages? Why are they asking this AI if it has parents?" Sinoite said it loud enough for the other flock, if they were going to have to fight out of here, he wanted to know DAMN sure what he was facing, not these useless questions.

No wonder the white moons and whatever faction the transparent chaos senshi or whatever didn't have their s**t together. General Zircon at least made sure that they wouldn't waste time on useless resources. The appearance of another general with a crazy plan set the already high strung lieutenant on more edge.

His gaze snapped to Benitotite. "Using a machine that is trying to capture us is like asking the cat that prowls the birdcage in." How did they not see this?

His gaze landed on Zircon, "I'm going to be..." He hesitated because Sweetie was there, and another corrupt senshi, but his eyes were glazing over, "unable to fight well if I remain in my condition general." He looked at her, "If not the heal pad, what other ways is there for me to recover?"

Super Sailor Crocus

Crocus has suspected that walking up to the trio and punching them wouldn't be a good idea, but well he just had to go and put himself in their line of fire anyway. He had hoped to confusion on Leto's magic might be enough to spare, him, but no. His uniform was crisped in some areas, he was definitely bleeding, and his knee hurt more than ever.

There was a brief moment of silent peace. Then another voice called out to him, honestly he felt more like staying put in the room without anything else trying to kill them currently in it. That wasn't his choice though, Leto's held on and before he knew it they had entered the next room. She was pissed and Crocus couldn't blame her. He was pissed as well, the only difference was he didn't seem to have as much stamina as she did for picking fights.

"Well....we could always try picking a fight with the walls. Y'know?" Crocus half joked as the look on Leto's face obviously read that she was pissed that she couldn't actually fight the enemy in this room. This room wasn't just filled with a new enemy though, as he looked around it seemed like everyone who had been split up before had rejoined together here in this room. More eyes than ever on the Royal at his side. He pulled her hand form his shoulder and into his hand by his side. He knew she was worried about this. It was one thing to try taking on an enemy you could fight and something else to be stuck in conversation with a Hologram that was talking about 'deconstruction' and 'dissection'.

He did notice Acubens looking in their direction and he managed a little wave and smile. He also noticed that people were using the healing pads and they didn't seem to be some sort of trap laid out for them.

"Maybe we should take it up on the offer to heal? Your wings look a little deep fried." Always the joker, trying to make light of their currently terrible situation. He wasn't sure she would want to take 'Delta' up on his offer, but maybe with a little gentle prodding he could get her feeling better. "We need you in tip top shape if we're gonna get out of here."
