Lace made a small squeak sound as she was picked up and did her best to curl in the best way possible for the senshi to not hit her with her magic.

She gave the girl a small shy cat smile before nodding. "I...I will do my best!" Plus she didn't want to make a bad impression, she wanted to make sure Elara was kept safe just like the others AND herself.

Until she could find Sera, the kitten readied her beam again. She did it again from the senshi's hands, making sure to center herself. Did cats have beams that ran out? She wasn't sure.

Sailor Acubens - 67 / 70

Remarque and Leto? He knew them both? Acubens cast the general a perplexed look, but didn't have time to dwell on the feeling. They had passed this last test, it would seem, and someone... or something had judged them worthy of the next phase.

And Acubens dearly wished that they had not.

The first thing Acubens saw before them were human-sized pods, reminding her of sci-fi style cryo-tubes. Something to preserve them for an unspecified amount of time and for an unspecified purpose. Not the ******** on Acubens' watch. Without thinking, she grabbed the arm of the General she was just now deciding that she was able to trust and yanked him close, stumbling from adrenaline over to the dark mirror basic that had strayed from her.

"We need to stay together," she hissed, closing her ranks as tightly as she could, placing herself between that thing twisting and sparking and the young dark mirror. "I don't want you going anywhere near that thing, Abstracta. You've been lucky so far, but this just stopped being a game, do you understand? Attack from a distance, but don't approach... I trust that you've got something ranged, General?"

Even as she spoke, Acubens could feel magic sparkling on her lips and no sooner had she stopped than she cried out the name of her attack.

"Velociraptor Endow!"

Warmth enshrouded her as her magic began to trickle down from the stars. She could see the aura of red surrounding her as her body moved on it's own. Her hands curved into wicked little claws as she swiped them through the air, sending energy waves like blades at the creature threatening them.

Containment Unit Theta is attempting to subdue your group and place you each in the tubes you see on either side of you. You must fight to escape!

You may have sustained damage on the way to Theta. You DO NOT heal any damage (unless you were with characters who have the ability to heal). Please keep track of your health totals for this battle!

[The Rules]

Generate your stage’s number bracket as listed above! (for example, Eternal Sailor XYZ generates a random number between 21 and 30 for each post because they are Stage 3!)

• You may generate numbers THREE TIMES PER ROUND! If you’re busy and don’t have time to fill in a huge post to go with your numbers, that’s okay! Anything is better than nothing!
  
• Each round is when I’m able to check numbers - this will be 5AM PST, 12PM PST and 6PM PST.
  
• This fight will last roughly 48 hours, or until your Containment Unit is defeated.
  

[Special Rules!]

• 4th stage characters may use their royal ability ONCE during this combat. Both Leto and Camelot’s abilities reduce the amount of damage taken by their group by HALF for that round. (this damage reduction is for this event only - I know Leto’s ability is technically
  camouflage, but simplifying how it works makes things easier for the event! ICly, the Containment Unit would have a harder time detecting and attacking its intended target anyway.)
  
• Mauvians have unlimited kitty beams!
  
• You can ICly assume you’re using your most powerful attack. You do not have to count the number of times you’re technically able to use your magic.
  
• Characters with healing magic or abilities can opt to heal instead, generating their stage’s number bracket and using it on themselves or a teammate. You can only heal 3 times this combat. Make it count!
  
• If you are reduced to 0 HP, you will be contained!

Proud of her attack, she felt encouraged enough to give it another try - especially when she noticed how the monster was attempting to herd them back towards the containment units.

He expected the damn thing to attack him, how could he not? It had a focus on him but he had figured he'd be fine, or at least able to hold his own. What he wasn't expecting was the beam of lighting, or whatever it was, which hit him. He wasn't quick enough to teleport to avoid it, as he hadn't been expecting that, and it sent him to the ground with a sharp cry of pain torn from his throat.

Shuddering, and even twitching a bit, he stared at the thing. He wasn't happy with it, that much was for certain, but he was rather unable to get his legs steady enough to stand. "s**t...." He didn't like this, and he liked that thing even less."I'm going to kill that..."

Acubens couldn't stop now. They were winning... or at least it looked like they were. This snake thing seemed to be slowing down, even if it was just barely. But barely any damage here and barely any damage there built up into a lot of damage everywhere... they could escape. It was just about not letting up, not even for a second. She had to protect Abstracta. There was no way for Acubens to know how touch the senshi actually was, how much experience fighting she had, and quite frankly, she'd rather assume that she had none and be proven wrong than leave her in the line of fire...

So she kept going, crooking her hands into claw again and calling on the name of her most powerful attack once again, slicing into the snake as many times as she could in the time that she was allotted.
