Camelot: HP 74
Camelot had to agree with Tantalite's initial reaction to the strange monster that formed once all of the strange team managed to get into the room. He made a face of abject horror, deciding he liked this thing even less than the usual monsters and youma he saw running around the city. There was something about the way it moved, the way it operated, that made it so much creepier.
Yeah, it had to go.
Spotting the Captain taking a swing at it, Camelot summoned his shield to him. The massive weapon appeared on his arm, almost as tall as he was, long but classically shaped with a point at its bottom and a long, scooped top. It was embossed with a bright red dragon that curled its wings to the sky, its eye glimmering a usually dangerous, but currently lifeless, green.
Not that Camelot was thinking about his Crystal powers just yet, instead thinking a good old fashioned shield rush would do just fine.
Hunkering down behind the shield, pressing his shoulder to it to add his weight to the tackle, he ran at where he had seen the monster form, doing his best to avoid the Nega, though he had to hope she got out of the way and not managed to step into it.
"Coming through!" the bulldozer of a Royal Knight called, smashing his shield into the disjointed, unsettlingly multi-hinged body of the monster. Thing.

Chauvet Page HP: 48 Total Group Damage: 67
Chauvet was starting to get the hang of this--play the game, do the challenge, try to avoid getting tazed. That was simple enough, right? And that captain had smiled at her back, which meant that today had to be at least a decent day in her book. Things were going to be okay.
And then she reached the top of the stairs, and some sort of eldritch alien thing started to spawn from the wiring. "What the ******** is that," Chauvet jumped, spooked to the point of hesitation while some of the others charged in. She couldn't help but watch the older knight summon his shield and throw himself into the fray with complete zeal, her eyes widening and a little starstruck again. Was that what it really meant, to be a knight at full power? He might as well have been Superman.
A moment later, she remembered that being a page meant she had a job to do as well. She called her ball to hand while she wound up, and then she chucked it at the electric alien deer beast, like she was a pitcher at the plate.

Super Sailor Encke HP: 60/60 Damage: 13 Total Group Damage: 74
More stairs, of course. They had to get to the top of the monument, after all.
Unfortunately, the top of the tower didn't seem to provide any way out. In fact, arguably, it seemed to provide the exact opposite. It had a way to stay there! ...Forever. In oddly-human sized tubes. In containment.
He grimaced. Of course.
The odd electrical circuitry person would have resembled a satyr if it didn't seem to have a feminine voice. Encke didn't like it either way. He backed away just a bit, deciding that it was probably in his best interest to not be right up to the thing that was trying to trap them right this second.
Though he was a bit of a sitting duck if he just stayed still.
He caught a captain say absolutely not and couldn't help the thought of, well, maybe they could keep the Negaverse agents that were in the room, it'd honestly probably make their lives easier just to have them trapped by whatever strange electricity alien this was. He kept himself from voicing the thought, though, because he didn't need to give a Negaverse agent any ideas about using him as fodder.
Instead, deciding that the only way to get out of here was to fight together, he took a different angle from Camelot and charged at the electrical being, fists flying.

Lt. Paracelsian HP: 50/50 Damage: 2 Total Group Damage: 74 + 2 = 76
No rest for the wicked or the weary, it seemed. Paracelsian felt a little winded, but then suddenly some... electric lady appeared out of thin air. He assumed it was a lady from the feminine voice, anyway. He could have been quite wrong. Maybe electric ladies didn't actually have a gender identity. That was all very beside the point, of course. There was talk of "containment," which was alarming in itself. Who was the threat here, really? If he was among the threats, why did he and the others need to be contained? It stood to reason that the entity everyone was fighting was not going to listen to reason. It was contain or be contained.
Paracelsian, however, was at a bit of a loss of what he could do. Was it really a good idea to just punch something like this? He had an idea, even though he knew it was going to be dumb and ineffective. He summoned his dorky toothpaste tube and chucked it at the lightning lady. It didn't seem to do much, as predicted. He'd probably have to suck it up and damage the thing's structural integrity more directly eventually.

Chibi Sailor Anser HP: 40/40 Damage: 3 Total Group Damage: 79
Through nearly no help from her, Anser would note to herself bitterly, it sounded like her team managed to get themselves past the barrier. She hoped that she had managed to help at least a little bit with her levers and knobs and twisty-turny-thingies, but it was hard to tell from her position on the floor if anything had actually happened...
Once she made her way out of the little mouse hole, she proceeded to jump up and head through the hole up to some stairs. There were less stairs than there were before, so Anser assumed they had to have been getting close to the top of the monument, right?
When she entered the room, she first noticed the sudden bang behind her of any exit being sealed off.
Then she noticed the tubes.
Commencing Containment...
Anser's heart jumped in her throat. Containment? ... What did that mean? She did a quick search of her memory banks and context of the room before gasping again. Did this monument expect them to actually go into those tubes -- ay dios what was that?!
It called itself Containment Unit Beta, she guessed, but it looked like some kind of blue standing electric deer with wires for hair. So this was some kind of alien AI then? Anser fidgeted. She had seen plenty of alien AI in her comic books and maybe one or two in video games she wasn't technically supposed to be playing, but it was a bit different seeing one face to face. Especially one that seemed very interested in making sure that they were contained.
Anser shuddered, before narrowing her eyes.
Well, she couldn't just give up and let herself be contained. She didn't want to know what containment by aliens actually involved. (Hopefully nothing with probes...) Instead of letting that happen, she declared, "Mother Goose!" and after the call of her ethereal gosling, she ran forward, deciding that her best bet was to kick the weird electrical thing in the side.
Quote:
Geese are known for being great guards. Anser says her attack name and an ethereal gosling appears in front of her, honking. After the gosling honks out its warning, Anser finds that her reflexes are enhanced, allowing her to either better fight back physically or put some distance between her and whatever danger there may be. Super Senshi Altais: 60/60 Damage: 13 Group Total: 92
Altais didn't like the idea of being stuck in a room with tubes. He liked it even less then he could care for and the creature trying to...well...herd them was even more disliked.
He just wanted to find his Team leader and get out of this mess. The shockwave senshi full forced punched the creature, hitting it with as much power as he could.

General Arsenopyrite HP: 67 Group: 120/400
Again they had made it out of the room, somehow forming a very uncoordinated human pyramid and had gotten through. It seemed that the Guardian cat had done little to help other than to get stuck again trying to get out of the hole. Luckily the journey to the next room was much shorter this time, and Arseno hoped that they were near the end of it. But if this was anything like a video game, then either they were coming upon the boss, or the mid-boss which would mean more puzzle rooms.
And part of his answer was correct, when suddenly a figure appeared before them, crackling in electricity. And it was focusing on Arseno. Great. He though, rolling his eyes. He knew that he would have to keep the focus on him and let the others go and try to hit it. If there was anything he learned playing World of Warcraft, it was to let one person be the focus while the rest blasted the boss with whatever they could.
He summoned his weapon, glad that it could come here, and swung at the creature, hoping that if he did hit it, he wouldn't be shocked with electricity.

Guardian Cat Bernard
Bernard looked at the creature distastefully when he had followed the rest into the room. So this was what it had been leading up to then? He so hated fighting. But here he was, having to do so. And he did what he could, which was swatting at the creature in an attempt to hurt it, with his claws out. Though it seemed he only scratched it and when he had hit it, a bolt of electricity had gone through him, which made him retreat to the back of the room. There was no way he could really do anything against it except... yes! He could send out beams against it! And he did so! Though it was hard, as others kept getting in the way and he didn't want to go and hurt anyone else.
He continued to do it, though how much damage he actually did to the creature was questionable.

Chibi Sailor Anser HP: 40/40 Damage: Total Group Damage: 129
She felt her initial kick connect, but she determined it was too weak. She needed to kick the weird creepy on-two-legs AI alien deer again, but she needed to get another opening first... But how?
Anser tried to glance around all these tall people, mostly wishing that she was also tall so maybe she could see around them a bit better, eventually spotting what looked to be a sliver of space between all the action that was happening near the AI. Aha! She tracked it a bit with her eyes before diving in-between some people and going at the AI's legs, attempting to knock her down, if that was even possible. If anything, at least it would be a lot of forceful contact from a chibi senshi who wanted nothing to do with this containment business. There would be no containment of her!
Once she had landed her hit, she quickly darted back out of the hole that had opened for her between people. No need to stay closer than she had to...

Camelot HP: 74
Camelot kept his attacks moving once he was up close, using the momentum of his charge attack and swinging his shield at the strange creature, or being, or whatever it wanted to be called. He did not like the way it was looking at the others, even if it seemed to be targeting the Negaverse at the moment.
As long as they were all in this place together, they were a team. That was enough justification for Camelot to do what he could to protect everyone assembled here.

Youma Koschei HP: 56/60 BETA HP: 222/400
Koschei was personally offended when the creature came at the group, trying to contain them as if he were a bird meant to be caged.
How dare.
While he had spent most of the time initially flying around, swooping here and there out of the way, he had decided that he would no longer be an idle bird in this case.
"What container is large enough to house life?" He asked, question echoing through the room as he swooped once, talons outstretched to scratch at the strange creature.
It was not youma, it was not senshi or agent.
It was a pest and the youma bird did not care for it.

Captain Tantalite
She stepped out of Camelot's way when he went charging by, brows raising at the maneuver. Well! That was one way to handle that problem, now wasn't it?
Tantalite preferred striking with her fencing foil. Though when it struck back at Arsenopyrite, it looked like it hit hard. Yikes!

If Encke actually cared about anyone from the Negaverse, he might have been concerned about how hard that hit to the general was.
As it was, though, Encke stood back and wondered for a moment if he should just let "Beta," as the AI called itself, just keep wailing on the general. The loss of a general really wasn't that bad for the state of the planet, all things considered...
It took the electric alien shifting its gaze to the Earth Knight for Encke to decide that, once again, he should actually try fighting this thing.
Sigh.
Once again, he summoned his strength and moved to punch at the AI. He would consider using his attack, but considering it was a fairly electrical attack, he wasn't sure that was the best idea. It might just end up charging her up, or something... Or at worst, injuring the others around.

Youma Koschei HP: 56/60 BETA HP: 177/400
He expected no answer, circling above the other attackers, as he watched and waited. Six eyes scanned the crowds as if he could pick someone to assist him with something. In the end, he chose none, opting instead to swoop low again.
His wings kept him aloft as he changed direction and aimed for the creature. All four wings folded against his body when he dived, only spreading once again to lift him back up after he pecked at the thing.
"The question is, what will happen when we contain you?"
Wings flapped and his large body was lifted up into the air once more, his cawing loud.
