Thx Charity. My city had a show on Saturday with fireworks so I'm going to stick around the homestead. Do you have any plans?
Welcome. I hope that you had a fun 4th. Other than watching the fireworks while walking the dogs...we watched them from inside the house since it was 110 degrees outside with the heat index. Daughter made dinner (with hubby's help on the grill because she wouldn't have been able to breathe in the high humidity with her allergies and asthma). We had barbeque bacon bourbon chicken, garlic smashed potatoes, and corn on the cob.
Sounds delicious! And you didn't have to cook! My hubby always did the barbecuing too.😊
I stayed indoors yesterday too. We have another heat advisory. Kasai has been suffering with allergies and severe asthma. She's been warned that there's going to be another bout of allergy season coming. Encourage your daughter to monitor and stay in when severe.
Thanks. My daughter is an awesome cook. She's been cooking since she was 5 and she's 23 now. We'll all of us cook on the grill but he wanted to help out since it was so miserable that day and bad for both of us due to our allergies/asthma.
I don't blame you for staying in. We've had a lot of heat advisories/warnings too. Awww! Poor Kasai! *hugs* Thanks. No worries there. My daughter doesn't go out any more than she has to when the weather is like this.
