"Do you have any idea how devilishly frightening you look when you're trying to seem angry while grinning?" he inquired, smiling and looking slightly intimidated.
Suddenly, he flushed at Minerva's unexpected comment. "Am I? for leaping out of a tower with you in my arms? I'm sure most people would find that rather appaling, don't you think? Only you'd call it sweet."
He looked up, hoping she wouldn't notice his reddening face. "It's really pretty outside...only it seems it's nearly nightfall. I suppose your Rogue won't be too happy with me for putting you through all we did today, hmm?"

"Devilishly frightening?" She joked around and poked him slightly "I'm adorable and you love it, just admit it." She joked around.
"I don't see how that's appaling... I mean, you can fly! You may have tossed me into the air, but you caught me and I wasn't hurt. You protected me, therefor, you're a little sweetie-face." She shrugged as if it was basic knowledge.
"As long as I'm not hurt and I had fun, she shouldn't mind. She always said if I was gonna go to the castle, that I shouldn't go alone, and I didn't. Besides, she knows I'm with you so again, I'm not alone, so she wont worry... yet." She said with a grin. "But anyways, I don't wanna go home yet, I'm having fun with you."

He shook his head. "Mmm...nope." Puck refused, grinning.
"I did, but I might have not. "
He shuddered. "Sweetie? Face? If you ever call me that again I'm might just have to let you fall next time."
"Well, let's see, then. Did you have fun wandering the cold, empty stone halls for hours; finding a few dusty, boring old books; nearly getting dragged off by some shadow version of me; and then almost falling to your death as we left? Personally, I'd never want to go back again with that sort of first experience, with or without someone. And whoever I'd went with I'd avoid for the rest of my life. How 'bout you?" He asked, smiling lazily.
"Yeah...I found that strange...how we have to potential to be two of the most mischevious troublemakers in the kingdom and yet our gaurdians let us run wild because we're together. That's what I call dense."

Minerva made a little pouting face "nope? Awww, total rejection." She shook her head before a few giggles escaped her lips.
"But, you wouldn't let me fall, cause then nobody would be here to hassle you about being sweet, and then life would be ruined." she teased with a grin, "hey, is that a hint you're going to avoid me? Cause y'know, you can't just ditch me. You're only noting the bad things!"
She held up a hand and started counted off "Well, first there's going on an adventure, then there's learning new stuffs, hanging out with a friend, and let's not forget, flying and the heights and such." Minerva stuck her tongue out playfully before she continued talking "So you see, I have more things for this day, then against it. So I did have fun, you loose."
A pause "yeah, well my guardian knows I'm a troublemaker. She just calls me cute and tells me to go have fun. She's cool like that... or insane, I'm still trying to figure that out."

"I'll never admit to anything," Puck vowed. "Until I get my magic back. Because then if I saw something you don't like, I'll at least be able to defend myself," he told her, joking.
"A hint? Not exactly...but if you told Rogue, don't you think she'd wwant you to avoid me, no matter how much fun you had? And just why can't I ditch you? You can't lfy after me or anything, and sooner or later you're going to tire of poofing everywhere."
"Must be insane. Maybe she and Ty have meetings to devise new ways to be crazy," Puck suggested carlessly. "Wanna go somewhere? It'd be boring to watch the sun set just from the tree."

((I know, isn't it insane! XD))
Minerva was silent for a moment as she considered her answer "y'know what... she wouldn't tell me to stop seeing you, 'cause she knows you're my best friend. And she believes in best friends like insanely, plus she trusts me." She said with a smile.
"Handcuffs Puck, handcuffs totally overpower magic," she joked around, "of course, that'd suck cause I'd end up hanging and probably hitting a billion trees." She giggled, "oh they totally have meetings, with the mallot banging on a table and everything."
When the giggles died down some, she looked away from Puck "Yeah, this is pretty." She spoke softly, in awe of the sunset. She turned back to Puck briefly before looking away again "but where'd we go?"

"Best friend?"" He repeated. "Would you really consider me your best? Because then I thnk it's time you maede some better friends," he said, grinning.
"Handcuffs?! Now you're talking crazy talk, Minerva," Puck exclaimed, pretending to look worried. "You might as well join them..."
"Ah...I know a good place...how about a rooftop of some sort? I'd say the castle, but I've had about enough of that for today...what do you say to a rootop in Traverse town? It's shouldn't be too crowded..."
((Ack, now I'm getting confused, lol...taking place outside of Wonderland time?))

"I don't need a better friend, I've got you!" She suddenly frowned "did that sound horribly sappy or what?"
A grin quickly replaced the frown, "I wouldn't suggest that if I were you, I might make them worse, then who knows what horrors you'll get stuck dealing with!"
Scanning the area around them quickly she nodded in approval, "That sounds good, as long as you don't mind carrying me, cause I'm not up to poofing the whole way there." she giggled as she pictured herself ending up asleep by a tree.

"Sappy? It sounded like absolute nonsense. You need a better friend than me. I'm not good enough, and you can hardly call me a friend after what happened in that room today." He said seriously. Or was it?
"True...but then I would go off and hide somewhere for the rest of eternity...it shouldn't be too difficult, I don't think." he chuckled, winking.
"For now, however, I suppose I could carry you...just keep that wand of yours away from me and I won't be tempted to drop you." lifting her under her knees again, he rose into the air before sharply banking in the direction of the town. "Careful now...I'm going to have to be quick so we don't miss it, but that means you'll have to hold on extra tight."

Minerva looked up at Puck before shaking her head furiously "nuh uh, don't ever say that. That's not true. That was all my fault, not yours."
A few seconds later she calmed herself down before sticking her tongue out, "You wouldn't last, no way." She grinned as she got picked up again "So, does that mean I can't poke you with it? Way to ruin all my fun Puck!" She held onto Puck as a smile spread across her face, flying was definitely one of her favourite things.

He shook his head insistantly. "If you hadn't had your wand, we'd have never gotten out of there. It was only thanks to you we got out, and because I remembered that door, we were able to find the tower."
"You don't think so?" He tilted his head thoughtfully. "Well, now that I've been infected with girl cooties and mortal emotions thanks to you, I suppose you're right. Nothing could ever be the same for me again."
"Hmm? Poke me with it? I should hope not...what if you knock me unconcious on accident and then we fall? Or worse: you knock me unconcious on purpose?" Puck was just over the town when he noticed a particularly isolated spont near one of the taller buildings. It seemed to have a little bell tower, and the little roof on top of it looked just perfect for the two of them to sit.
He touched down on the shingles, careful not to loosen any, and let Minevra down. "What do you think? Too high?" He had also figured this spot would be perfect since it seemed about the highest place in town, and Minerva had mentioned she liked heights.

Minerva smiled as her feet touched down on the ground "That's not what I was talking about, I don't care who's fault it is for us getting out, I'm talking about you being my best friend, duh."
She grinned as she looked around "So you'd rather everyone would be like it was before we met? And I wouldn't knock you unconscious, I'm not that mean." She said as she stuck her tongue out playfully.
"This place is awesome, I love it." She giggled "no place is too high Puck... except when you get the point where you can't breath because the air's too thin, but every point under it's fine." She spoke with a smile on her lips.

"But..." he paused, at a loss for words. "I just think you deserve a better best friend than me. But I'm not complaining." He sighed contentedly and strecthed himself out on the roof.
"Hmm...I don't feel up to telling the honest truth just now...give me a few hundred years and I might just tell you, but it isn't likely," he said, watching the sunset through half-closed eyes, amusement in his voice. "And I never can tell just how mean you mean to be."
"Glad you think so. But for some reason..." A mischevious little smile crossed his lips as he spoke his next words with the last few rays of sunlight. "I always find it hard to breathe when you're around."

Minerva laid down on her side next to Puck as she watched the sunset "Why do you think that? I don't think I could've found a better friend."
She shrugged and opened her mouth to speak again, "Now I feel sorta bad, well... just so you know, and for future reference. It's all joking, I'd never be mean, not to you."
Minerva turned away from the sunset to look up at Puck's face "A few hundred years is a really long time, wanna shorten the time-" She stopped in the middle of her sentence as Puck spoke again. Her cheeks tinted a light red as she watched the sunlight hitting Puck's face slowly fade away. A small, sweet smile rose to her face as she enjoyed the view before quickly tearing her gaze away, not wanting to stare. Truth was, that was better than the sunset itself in Minerva's opinion.

Puck watched his words take their effect on Minerva for a few minutes, warmed by her sweet smile. Then, to honor his new rule about refraining from mushyness, he spoiled the moment with his next ones. After all, he didn't want anyone to think he was going soft, and he felt he needed to make up for the cheesy remark about breathing.
"No seriously...do you have iron on you or something? Jewelery? Manacles? Chains? Iron teeth, perhaps? I've heard there was a wtich who had those..." he danced out of the way, grinning, in case she attempted to ssault him.
In truth, however, it was getting increasingly difficult to tell himself he felt nothing for the girl. And sooner or later, he new he wouldn't be able to deny it...he only wished he wouldn't have fallen so fast nor so quickly...he was hardly even the age that mortals normally got feelings like this at. Perhaps it was because he had never had experienced emotions before, and now they were cascading down upon him. Or perhaps it was just her.
