Birkita frowned at Lilly when she blurted out her ‘brilliant’ plan. To be honest, Birkita would have gladly moved out of the dorm and let Jane take her place. And yet, despite these thoughts, a flash of jealousy seared through her and she actually held onto Lilly’s hand instead of being just a limp fish in her grip. She didn’t know why she was feeling that way. Lilly was annoying and dumb. The complete opposite of her. And yet…
When Jane began squirming, Birkita’s curiosity was peaked. Why was she doing that? Should she care? Well… maybe not about Jane’s wellbeing but she did want to know why she was moving around like that.
Nym’s back went stiff as a board as he heard a familiar laugh. Of course she had to be there. Why, if he was ever in a good mood, he could count on Liv to be there to bring him down. Reddening, he quickly closed the bag, whirling around and holding the ugly thing in the bag behind him. He opened his mouth angrily before following her gaze towards the floor. A slow smirk spread across his face. ”Birds of a feather,” he commented snidely, a smug expression glued to his face.
His eyes widened in surprise at the new person running up and hugging Liv. Before his smirk widened even more, hands going to his coat pocket. ”Friend of yours?” he asked, eyeing the girl named Reece up and down. His haughty smirk grew. As he had said, birds of a feather.
His smirk dropped at being called homeless. Again. He was wearing designer clothes! The likes of her couldn’t even sneeze on his clothes and cover it’s dry cleaning cost! Sneering at Liv, he turned his haughty expression to Reece, staring down his nose at her. ”Hello,” he murmured cordially. He had no intentions of making friends.
A light flickered on the side of his vision. Turning his gaze, he stared at the pale pink wisp floating almost playfully around his head. He sneered and chose to ignore it.

Forewarning: Nym's a brat, bully, and jerk. And he's super spoiled.
Sisal was so happy that he came. The air was just so alive! It drew a smile to his face. It was a nice break from homework. He was going to graduate soon and because of it, there was more work than usual. This was really a breather that he needed, though the air simply wasn’t crisp like the air back home. It had an alive, sharp feel to it, however.
He was absorbing the sights of the festivities when he felt something at his legs. Jumping a bit, he shifted away and looked down… spotting a little freshling. A grin appeared on his face and he crouched down. ”Having fun?” he asked.
Vega was enjoying his new stuffed animal. A hot pink vespercat. It was too cute. Hugging it to his chest, he moved through the crowd that was slowly thickening, checking out the different stalls, games, events, shows, and displays. There was really so much to take in, Vega didn’t know if he would even be able to see everything in one day!
A fae danced to him and looped a hot pink boa around his neck, giving him a sly smile before dancing off. He grinned after the fae, humming under his breath, before moving to the side. He wanted something to drink.
Aias was tempted to go home early. It was just… too busy. Overwhelming. Swallowing thickly, he moved to the side, to a stall serving drinks. None of them very festive though he settled on a juice. He quickly slurped it down, willing his heart to calm.
Something bumped against the back of his leg. Blinking, he looked behind him… and saw a rather pretty Rammykins. He usually didn’t like things that didn’t have green, red, or the combination of both. But the pale rainbow colors was very appealing. Staring, he considered it for a moment before tossing his empty cup into the trash and crouching down, patting the wooly head. ”Hey there,” he mumbled before giving a small, hesitant smile.
Munching on the cold ice of the snow cone, Ascal found a place to sit, peering at the people beyond his glasses shrewdly. He wondered how many were stronger in the magic than him. A scowl appeared on his expression. It probably would have been better to wonder how many were weaker. That would be easier to count than the previous. The pure dolls he saw wandering the crowd, of course. But beyond them… who else?
Giving a distasteful grunt, he tossed the remaining of his snow cone away, picking up a few coins from the table next to his seat and started wandering around again. He was quite surprised to find the coins were chocolate.
It was kind of a shame that Leto wasn't here. Vega sighed. He must have gotten stuck babysitting. As he shuffled his feet, someone handed him an adorable specterfox plushie. He smiled at it.
Nashira tilted her head slightly as she listened to the junior try and explain why he got that color. "...I wasn't... trying to criticize." Though it was probably the worst opening line ever. The geist hybrid glanced aside, then looked back at Keres. "I'm Nashira." She looked at the specterfox the kid was handed, then held up the one she received as well.
Meadow was dashing through the crowds, he decided he should gather as much candy as he could. He and Aurelia would have a total pig out day. He stopped when he ran into someone handing him a vespercat plushie.
Mallory:
Mallory was about to say something when the goblin handed him the snowcone and... LEFT! He frowned and quickly downed the ice water and tossed the cone away before following the goblin. He grabbed a snow cone of his own before catching up to the goblin. He dropped an arm over the stranger's shoulders and held up the treat. "Want to lick mine?" He grinned.
Shaddaling
Claire:
Claire smiled as she listened to Baum. "Hey, don't worry. I'm here by myself too. I managed to ditch my brother." She giggled. "There's bound to be lots of singles here anyways!" She reached for Baum's arm, and looped hers around his, just above the elbow. "We can totally rule this dance and show them that singles are awesome too!" Then an idea struck her. "Or we can just say we're here together as friends. Then neither of us are alone."
Nasaiki
Sphinx:
"YEEP!" Sphinx squeaked when the dryad suddenly spoke to her. She stared at him with wide blue eyes for a second, then grinned. "Yep! There's lots of candy and stuffed things and interesting people. I've never seen you before. Hi! I'm Sphinx. Your leaves are fun to play with." She beamed. "Wanna be friends? There's lots of cool things here, like this!" She held up a bunyip plushie.

No such thing as stranger danger
Xenon:
He managed to wander away from Quill. Maybe he was right. He should mingle. He could use some friends. But there were a lot of couples, and he didn't wanna disturb anyone. He grabbed a snow cone to distract himself for a moment.
Quill:
It was nice seeing Xenon off and interacting with others. Or, well, trying? Quill worried about his roommate always sitting in front of a computer, either for work, or when he was at home relaxing. He really needed to get out more. Now that the kumiho was off, Quill decided he should mingle as well. He picked up a vespercat plushie. "You get to be my wing man."

Points won by Eirian: 20 ( 9 + 11 ) Eirian watched Sally's attempt with anticipation. They let out a moan of disappointment when only one ring ended up sticking. "Too bad," Eirian said with snap of their fingers. The game looked so easy but proved so difficult.
"Oh, you wear it like this." Eirian gently took the boa from Sally's hands and draped it across her shoulders. "Then you can either toss one side across your neck to your back or drop it into the nook of your elbows." Eirian showed both styles to their friend using their own boa. "It's usually just a silly piece." They chuckled before putting their boa back on their shoulders.
Eirian noticed a game that seemed to be much more forgiving. "Let's try that one." Eirian led the way over to the booth which was covered in small, plastic Sealpups. The rules were simply to pick a pup to earn the prize written on the bottom. Eirian dropped a coin down and sent a silent prayer to Kallistos. Choosing one at random, Eirian exclaimed in surprise. They showed the bottom to the attendant who indicated Eirian could choose from any of the stuffed familiars hanging.
Grinning, Eirian picked out a Spectrefox and turned to Sally. "Would you like it? I can't help but feel like the boa was a bit of a let down for you."
Stella stella stoped to take a brake and get an icecone. she sat and enjoyed it while watching the party go on Belladona bella was quite lucky she was a hybrid, unlike the other dolls she could actuly eat, though she didnt relly neeed to often, it was nice and refreshing to try her first snow cone
Soleil's eyes went to Nuka's choker, attempting to read the action. Were they nervous? Interesting. "Nice to meet you, Nuka." The kirin gave another hair flip before patting the grimm's shoulder. "No need to be so flittery. Relax. I'm harmless. Mostly." They gave him a wink before shrugging and stuffing the vespercat plush back in their bag. Soleil wasn't going to complain when they insisted. It would prove to be of some use. They had woo'd plenty of strangers with a cute stuffed animal and a few 'heartfelt' words.
Soleil laughed, twirling around in the boa. "You think?" All colors looked fabulous on them. Nothing look too terrible. But they'd be humble and accept it.
They eyed the vesper cat appreciatively. "Congrats."
A bag of candy caught their eye and they offered it over to Nuka. "Want some?" They shook it, hoping to entice the grimm.
Nastara Tucking the plushie on the floor near her legs Nastara decided to attempt the game again- but not do quite so well this time perhaps- she thought as she eyed the candy bags she desiered. This time she tossed the ring a bit harder, going for the upper row that had more black poles than colored ones, and one rainbow one- this time she'd ringed the rainbow pole! Hopefully she looked to the candy- but the person running the booth was announcing a "Grand Prize winner winner winner" and from somewhere behind the booth someone else emerged escorting......a......Rainbow Rammykin!??
Before she could blink twice they were handing over the flower bedecked leash to her and the game runner was saying that she'd won all she could since she'd hit the grand prize. Nastara stated in shock between the rammykin and the game runner as realization slowly dawned on the freshling. Fighting back tears- of anger and disgust she assured herself, she walked off to find something else to do......

Maeve walked into the area designated for the HJ party and she stopped for a moment to take in the sight. As she looked about she felt delighted laughter bubbling up out of her. " Oh how wonderful!" Fighting the urge to spin in pleasure she tucked her wings in close and dove into the party with a gusto. As she did someone handing out Boa's came by and draped one about her shoulders encouraging that she would "Look her best now!" and continued through the crowd. She smiled brightly at them as she twirled the Boa about her neck. Next to her someone else was entering the party- accidentally she hit him with the tail end of her floofy boa. A shock stricken look crossed her face as the fallen turned and apologized to the startled looking chimera she'd fwomped with her boa. "I'm so sorry, I guess I just got so caught up in the atmosphere of this lovely event that I wasn't watching where I was flinging things. I hope you have a lovely HJ!" A bright smile crossed her face as she nodded to the Chimera and turned to leave to explore the party.
Danielle was probably going to get a sore shoulder from Chess dragging and yanking her around, she was certain....but she could put up with it for a little while at least. The neko considered her a friend and she felt the same and knew that Chess was trying to cheer her up. Yeah, good luck with that. Snowcones in hand, they slowly walked down the line of snack vendors and some candy bark caught her eye. That looked interesting....what was the flavor? She decided to get some, being careful not to bump into anyone as she retrieved the tasty treat.
Chess really hoped they could help Dani have at least a little fun. She seemed to be enjoying the idea of sweets (which, lets face it, were the best sort of cure for the dating blues.) They saw her snag some candy bark and they grinned a bit, lightly elbowing her. "You're gonna share that, right?" They were only being semi-serious. It wasn't like they couldn't get their own. They saw a cute spectrefox plushie and picked it up, showing it to Dani. "I'll share cuddle custody of this little guy if you do?" Cuddle custody.....golden.
First Tater, then Razzleberry.....this was turning out great! Guzma was psyched to have a couple little critters to add to his entourage. It didn't hurt that they were super cute, either. Razz walked beside him while Tater seemed content to perch on his shoulder as he walked around, enjoying his time in the adorable festival. Oooh, another cute plushie to add to his collection! Don't mind if I do!
Chidori had to admit that the boa made her feel sassy and fabulous. What was it about these ridiculous garments that brought this? Maybe because they were fun to swish around and play with? Perhaps. She was lost in thought for a moment as she stared at the boa, toying with it till she heard bleating. She looked up and saw the kidden she had dubbed Cookie standing on its hind legs to grab a bag of candy. "Cookie, wait! Don't eat the bag!" She ran over to grab it before the kidden could start chewing too feverishly. Oh boy....she would have to keep her eyes on it.
Sparrow was handed yet another plushie as she passed. She would have refused but....they were too cute and soft to say no to. She was going to have a little stuffed menagerie at this rate.
Daily: 2 Aditi continued forward through the germ filled crowd, looking for something else to do. She craned her head this way and that, large ears swiveling to listen for anything interesting. Her nezubat clung to her braid and chattered softly at her. Suddenly her eyes widened as she caught sight of a spot that was giving out snowcones. She hadn’t had one of those in a while. She licked her lips as she looked at them, debating which color to pick. Finally a purple snowcone was picked up, the cone holder was wiped down with a napkin and then the snow was carefully licked. Delicious. Trinket
