Aeris Dysnomia
Oooh! Yeah! Brisbane is close to our timezone <3
Oh really? Lmao oops. I guess it is called Chamorro time zone.
Chamorros are the native people of Guam biggrin
I'm part Chamorro from my Mom's side.
Same! I was just gonna wait till I saw other people posting their avis
We could probably request a timezone to be safe!
My Husband gets off work at 10pm so we're just spending time together eating dinner <3
He might end up playing the bingo too lmao
How about you?
Lol maybe they were trying to be PC but it was a non-issue so no-one cared? I think a lot of the time places get bogged down by silly stuff and they miss the big stuff. Like how in places where there were no last names and people tried to make people have last names and everyone chose the same names so it was kind of pointless?
I don't really have interesting heritage, we're all just
really white, except my cousin, whose dad was African, but because we're sooo white (just... so white) he looks Maori, which isn't a big deal, because they live in New Zealand. He's also extremely tall, which is hilarious because his mum, our cousin Helene, is very very short. We're very bogan, which is kind of like a redneck except not really. There's definitely shades of bogan. I can't quite tell what layer of bogan we are, I think it changes at any given time. Having horses is definitely a non-bogan thing, but letting your yard overgrow to hidden elephant length for any reason (even if it's so you can have horses there for a few weeks to eat it down) is very bogan.
I waited until Joyrose posted XDD I have all my avis uploaded.
That's nice ^^ I used to hate getting home at 10 because then I'd have to tiptoe through the house.
Well, a few weeks ago I kind of thought it would be nice to put all my keepsakes which I collected and had... artfully festooned around the place (collected in piles of crap) in some sort of order, and I thought a scrapbook would be the thing, so then I would write down the stories I would tell about the thing- i.e. 'This is the ticket stub from the Kelly Clarkson convert from the '00s we went to. Kelly smacked herself in the mouth with her microphone, finished the song, then told everyone she might be bleeding and laughed. Kelly's the best.' And scrapbooking is great for photos too, which would also work with the writing of stories like 'This is a photo from the Movieworld Harry Potter Experience from the second movie, because we didn't make the first experience, and I knew more about the place than the tour person and asked them about the acromantula. Ten years later, I got another yearly pass to Movieworld by collecting coke bottle labels and went on that ol' fave ride, the Scooby Doo Spooky Coaster- only to find that it had been augmented... BY THAT VERY SAME ACROMANTULA. I basically freaked out alone in my cart with this giant spider suspended above me.' So I spent an hour and a bit scanning photos to print out for a scrapbook, but also, I guess, because we've never scanned these old old photos and even if I don't scan all of them (because I'd never finish), I'll scan the ones I can tell a story about and that's a good start.
Sorry for long reply, 'scanning pictures for hours while watching MLP FiM' kind of raises more questions than it answers...
