III_of_Wands Day: 60 Themes: Pen & paper/ Love, Comments: It's game night at the palace. (take your pick; board, D&D, their own personal art challenge). Also, that's a checkered shirt and some embroidered shorts. I'm not fashion oriented, but there's bell sleeves. So..I'm not completely lost.

The bartender, having wiped down the bar for far too long, simply sighed and checked his watch for the umpteenth time in five minutes. "Bill, I ain't a certified therapist, but would you like to talk about what's on your mind?" following it up with two minutes to closing time, please get out of my bar, had anyone been close enough to hear it. The nearly untouched liquid in the bottle sloshed to and fro as Bill finally looked up from the void his alcohol had dragged him to. Deep set eyes and bags had set in, but the bartender wasn't afraid. His wife would be scarier if he didn't get home on time just this once. "Ralph,.." "Bailey. I'm Bailey."" My girl left me a week ago. Is that so? All the better for you. Probably didn't deserve you anyhow. Now the door is.." "Barry, she left me for a pool boy half my age, in Mexico, all because I didn't want to find work there." The depressed customer let his head fall to the bar counter. "Whauw caud srhee doo thissh?!" Mentally calculating the guys' tab, Bailey assumed this guy was a deadbeat. Also, the tab was readily concerning now. No more tap for Bill until the digits went down. No wonder the girl left him. As a good host however, the bartender could only support the deadbeat. "Maybe once she's realized she's playing with little boys, she's come running back for a real man. At your house. Maybe, she's already there."Bill raised his head, hope glimmering in soggy looking eyeballs. "I swear I'll pay up part of the tab next week!" was heard as he dashed off. "Dude, the chances of you getting that girl back are about as good as you paying back the tab." Bailey uttered to himself. Oh well, at least his wife wouldn't kill him this time.

The moment he turned around with flag raised high in the air, they'd broken into two parties to encircle the lot. It wasn't until the archers heard a high pitched scream of one of their own before they were shot down themselves as the women took the high ground.
