Kylar made his way quietly to his room pleased that it didn't look like anything would disturb him as he made his way to the bedroom. He closed his door and laid down to sleep hoping that things remained calm while he rested and regained his strength.

Kylars eyes shot open as the dream faded away. He looked around the room confirming where he was before crawling out of bed. He hadn't slept, at least not truly since Yoko had turned him into her puppet. He still needed rest and would lie down to recover, but to dream that was something new. Whatever was happening that message from the raven must have been why he dreamt. Moving around to room to check for anything out of the ordinary he began trying to figure out the message.

Remember what you're looking for

What did the message mean? He was looking for several things right now. The people responsible for the attack on Sanctuary, the ones who ordered the murder of his child, the people that were a threat to Andy, the ones who had captured Tendren. There was a pause in his mind as he thought of the name of the man that brought him to Sanctuary, Tendren. This man, this is what he was looking for. If not for the search for him then Kylar wouldn't have been at Sanctuary to witness the attack. Last he had seen, Andy had been with Mafia yet she was conveniently at the sight of the attack when it occurred. The child Kylar had never met, was the only survivor along side Andy when he stumbled upon the attack. Michael couldn't see him and said that the place he was didn't exist. It was all to much coincidence.

Everything began with the search for Tendren. Whatever was happening was either a series of bad luck or something strange that Kylar couldn't yet comprehend. Something or someone was orchestrating things so that Kylar would be distracted, otherwise there was no way only his child and the woman he loved would have survived the attack alone just long enough to see them injured and killed before his own eyes. If the two of them had survived there would have been others, but there wasn't. Everyone was dead from the attack, even the leaders among their kind. The girl, Nova, she had been among the oldest of their kind yet she was dead when he arrived.

Kylar shook his head trying to shake away the confusion. Thinking about it was just confusing him more, who had the power to orchestrate things on a scale such as that. Ensure that a bomb or whatever had been used in the attack didn't kill the only two people he cared about so that he could see them die. There's no doubt about it, had he not removed Andy from the area she would have died too. Not knowing what else to do, Kylar made his way out of the room heading to where Andy would be locked up. He had to see her to answer some questions, find out if something was at play here to keep him from searching for Tendren.

Kylar made his way through the castle, the lack of people and security making him anxious as it was beginning to confirm his suspicion. He made his way to where Andy would have been held and looked inside.

Kylar looked closer at the doorway ignoring the blood inside not entirely surprised. He checked the hinges to inspect the damage done and how the door had been removed.

Kylar moved to one of the other doors closing it before kicking into it full force attempting to recreate the escape that had happened in the other cell for comparison. He focused everything on a similar point as the other door seemed to show damage hoping recreate the scene.

Kylar took in the results of his findings and dismissed the blood and broken door, whatever was going on his suspicions were slowly being confirmed. If the door had broken without the use of his super strength it would have been possible that Andy escaped from the inside. However since that wasn't the case and the door had been kicked out not in that meant that whatever had escaped wasn't Andy, if anything had escaped at all. What he knew was questionable, had he brought someone else here and allowed them to escape roaming free or was it all an elaborate illusion of some kind, a trick being played upon him for some reason or another.

The lack of people or even bodies in the castle made it more likely that this was some sort of trick. Had a battle occurred even while he slept, Valenteins people would have come for him. Since there was no fighting happening nearby, no-one had come for him, and there were no beaten or injured guards nearby the likelihood that someone had done something grew more certain.

Kylar left the cells heading towards the throne room. Even if this wasn't real or was within his own mind the throne room was a connection to Valentein, perhaps it still was, regardless he would be able to gather his thoughts there and attempt to find a solution to the problem holding himself back. He entered the room and called out, "Valentein, I need to speak with you."

Kylar took in the scene as any doubt that this was false faded from his mind. Valentein was a God, or more appropriately Goddess, one who controlled death no less. While she might toy with those beneath her, there was no way that Andy had been able to defeat her. The only being capable of such an act and only possibly as far as he knew, was Gaia. Unless this Andy was Gaia in disguise there was no way that what he was witnessing was real. Going out on a limb, Kyla made no move to defend himself. Whatever this was he couldn't fight it and if it was all in his head he wouldn't have to.

Standing his ground, Kylar watched the chunk of throne come at him believing fully that it wasn't real and thus could not harm him. He waited for it to impact before deciding how to act from this point on.

Kylar was struck by the throne, the force behind it threw him. He hadn't expected it to hurt and it hadn't at least not in a way that regular people registered pain, however it was enough to smash him into the ground. The impact had made breathing difficult, something was injured inside of him. Flesh was torn, rubbed clean off from where the throne had dragged him across the ground from the force. Blood leaked from the Vinyl that made up his body as he tossed the throne off of himself. He took a look at Andy before deciding that it wasn't worth the risk to test his theory in this way. He turned and walked through a doorway that appeared behind him.

Light bombarded Kylar as he left the dim lighting of the underworld behind stepping foot into the bright light of Hinale outside of his home. This was one of the few places he still felt were safe, even if that wasn't ever true. He had died here after all, but this was the home he had obtained for his family. Kylar stepped inside of the house and locked the door before making his way into the house. Something was messing with his mind, or perhaps his senses, but if he was lucky perhaps they had overlooked something.
