Despite the danger involved, Nick was excited to be involved in something big. Fighting alongside full hunters was pretty exhilarating, even if her best efforts merely chipped off the thing's watery carapace.

Jordan grimly rolled back to his feet and brought Ferros around into the water golem once more. Though it was impossible to tell how much damage the thing was sustaining from its appearance, Ferros's runes lit bright red. They let the lobster's retaliatory smack push them back further away from it, and looked around to see who might benefit from a healing charge.

Terry just wanted to stay down on his back. He wasn't a sun nor was he a moon. And who knows, maybe if he remained passive long enough the water golem would think he was de- a watery tail slammed down on him.
This thing was trying to bury him into the sand, it seemed, but Agata urged Terry on to fight back! Although in the Lifer's case, it was mostly him trying to shove the golem off him with frantic flailing of the shield.

There was a deafening retort from the rifle, and then the frost receded, Gale staggering a little, trying to catch his breath.

This part was something that Ever could throw himself into fully. The water beyond the golem still sent a little shiver down his spine, but if he focused on the monster -- well, that was a foe you could face more easily. He drew Amory and, shifting the sheath in his left hand, he darted forward to take a few quick swipes. In response, the lobster twisted, catching him sideways with its great tail, and Ever stumbled to keep his feet. HP: 50 / 60 DMG: 14 Charge: 1 / 3 BOSS HP: 285 / 500beejoux I finally tagged sorry. Rhys managed to dodge a claw and summon his sword before jumping straight into the fray with the rest of the group. He exchanged a pretty decent hit for a smack from its claw, which sent him staggering back more than he thought it would. The trainee grit his teeth, already really sick of these damn golems. It at least added some fuel to the fire, making him that much more motivated to take the thing down.

Rhys dashed forward and dodged the claw he very saw coming straight for him just in time to take a swing at its arm. The aim was to hack it off--what else did you aim to do with a sword in a fight, anyway? Considering that same claw swatted him away again that obviously didn't happen, and he doubted he did a whole lot of damage that time around.

Shay was not one to generally go out of her way to place violence on another creature. However, as she approached the shore, not dressed in any swim gear but just a simple dress and no shoes, she knew things were not right with the world.
Di grumbled his disapproval and confirmation that this was not something to be tolerated, accepted, and otherwise left to be.
At her approach, she tee'd off, lining her shot and swinging onto for the foot to move on her.
