"Worry more about yourself, p're. Otherwise Seren'll worry herself silly." She grinned before charging at the creature.
It shouldn't feel this good having her blood pumping this hard as she dodged and darted towards the cloud. Bert's inconsolable despair was still there, and probably why it messed with her aim so much. Her bonded was usually far more focused than this.

"Will do," he managed to respond better running in and missing again. The Cloud looked fairly pissed and shot a barrage of attacks straight for him. He dodged as best he could, but still back away a little more worse for wear than when he'd gone in.

Seren got mildly aggravated and stormed forwards, bringing Diwata up and around in a curving slash, managing to take off a good chunk of what was left of the damn cloud, snarling "Return to hell, gods dammit! I'm sick of your oily, ugly a**!" HP: 21/40 Defense: 4 Charge: 3/3 Boss HP: 3/100

This was the part where some witty one-liner would be best said before the killing blow is made. But Joy was always more of comical best friend material, which was why she just hummed happily to herself that her Love Team was growing closer before her very eyes.
Oh and she slammed Bert into the thing hard enough to finally make it give up the ghost.

While he was recovering in the back he watched as Seren and Joy finished off the Cloud, and once it dissipated it left behind nothing but the oily residue from the fight. He visibly relaxed, slumping against the wall as exhaustion started to catch up to him again as the adrenaline started wearing off. It'd been a long fight, but after a few deep breaths he pulled himself up and walked over to them, eyeing the oily puddles all over the place.
"Let's get the hell outta here, then."

Seren slowly lowered Diwata, checking around them to make sure there was going to be no surprise monsters coming at them out of corners, or anything. Once she was sure they had really finished the battle, she let herself take several slow, deep breaths, calming herself as she unsummoned Di. She slowly turned to face Rhys, looking him over with concerned eyes for a moment. He looked far tireder then she felt, and she worried about him... But she felt good, knowing she had been able to defend him, and fight at his side. Now if she could just be at his side in other ways. She put that thought away, looking over at Joy to see how she was doing too, and said "Yeah. A hot shower, a meal (even if it's cafeteria crap), and my bed are all calling my name. Let's go the ******** home."

The grin and over-all good cheer that was radiating from Joy made it seem like she didn't take this mission seriously or that she didn't feel any sense of gravity. Don't be fooled, she was just hopped up on adrenaline and utter glee to be anything but grinning in spite of her disheveled state.
"You two go on ahead, I'll make sure nothing is following us." She said, still grinning widely and failing to hide it.

Rhys kept Zephira at his side, still summoned just in case there were extra little surprises on the way out. He walked alongside Seren, but glanced back at Joy and her curiously cheerful demeanor. It looked funny, sort of, but if she was alright taking the back he wasn't about to force her to walk with the two of them.
Tired as he was, he still nudged Seren, playful and as a very silent thanks for her help on the mission. If he had other ways to say thank you right there, he might have, but this was all he could do. And they walked out in relative silence, the three of them, tired but with the mission accomplished. Soon enough they were out and at the outpost, and finally headed home.
He'd deal with the paperwork, he figured, after a check-up, a shower, and a nice long nap.
