With the day running longer than usual- Stephan flopped on the bed, pulling a blanket over his shoulders. Dozing off, fell asleep quickly. So much had happened that day. His entire perspective on the world itself had changed. His new sisters, mermaids themselves- were so trusting of Humans. He wondered if Lena herself washed up on the shores like his mother described when Sara and Seira washed up too. With his mind full, Stephan fell into a dream-like sleep.
He awoke, feeling the sensation of water all over him. It was dark and cold-
his lungs filling up and burning and salt water filled his airways.
Shadows entered the corner of his eyes and all went black.
A split second had passed, within the darkness- A light.
Long golden strands flowing in the morning sky-
Lena's hair, framing her face perfectly as she sang a melodic,
unintelligible song.
-Next Dream-
Waking once again, Stephan found himself in the salty depths of the sea once more, but he felt no pain.
The same long, bright strands of hair flowing in the clear waters.
Lena was smiling, The scales of her cerulean tail glinting underneath the rays of the sun reflecting on the surface.
She took him by the hand, as the swam through a beautiful reef.
The coral like spires surrounding them elegantly. It had taken a while to realize, he too was somehow a merfolk-
His legs replaced with a glimmering tail a shade of a deep purple.
-Next dream-
This dream was on the surface. He was home, away from France and away from the memories he made. He looked around his childhood home, the castle, calling for his parents.
He found two red-headed women, None other than his sisters Sara and Siera. "W-wheres mom and Dad?" He asked, as the hung their heads down wistfully.
One of them murmuring something tragic. In denial, he rushed down the winding hall to his parent's paining in the foyer.
The picture was covered in a sheer black drape. He let out a cry as he fell to his knees.
He found himself in the Courtyard now, his father's crown on head.
A gentle hand touched his shoulder. A hooded figure.
Hesitantly, he pulled the hood over their head.
It was none other than the blonde beauty herself- Lena.
Stephan found himself in her embrace.
When he awoke, He would wake in a cold sweat.

Stephan's third dream ended, He had no clue what time it was, or how much he slept. A loud thud from the other side of his room awoke him, almost with a jolt. Unknowing of who it was, he froze. Hoping there wasn't a burglar that broke in somehow. Already in a cold sweat from his strange dreams, he slowly reached for his drawer in the nightstand next to his bed. Stephan slowly grabbed a hardcover textbook from it. He wasn't sure what help it would be to defend himself, but he was too tired to really think things through.
Just then, a figure had entered the room and fell onto the bed. Startled, he dropped the book to the floor, making more noise.
"Wh-Who goes there!? I uh- I know karate!" He lied, before his eyes got used to the darkness. It was just Seira, but she was a mermaid. "Oh! It's you." He said sheepishly. He squinted, looking out into the dimly lit hallway, he noticed a cup on the floor by his room and glanced back at Seira who was soaking wet in her pajamas.
"Oh geez, I see what happened here." He started. "It's okay. I know a few mermaids. In fact, one saved my life- So my parents and I aren't the types to freak out around merfolk. In fact, it's neat how you can turn into a mermaid like that." He explained, a hint of curiosity in his voice.
"If it helps, I'm having trouble sleeping too. Let's dry you off, and get you some dry clothes." He said, going to the nearest bathroom and getting a towel. He came back half a minute later, and offered the towel for her to dry off.
As she dried, he stared towards his closet- wondering if he could offer something of his to wear. Although, he figured it wouldn't be quite right. "Once you dry off a little, we can head to Your or Sara's room for clothes. Mom prepared the guest rooms with extra clothing. Besides, the stairs tend to creak since it's an old house. So going to mom's closet downstairs may wake everyone else up." He explained.

Stephan raised a brow, and shrugged. "Well, if you insist." He said, getting up from his bed, and opening the closet door.
The closet was slightly larger than your average closet. Not only did it have a place to hang shirts and jackets, but it could also fit a dresser to hold pants, sweatpants, and pajamas.
"I'm not sure what you're into, but we are only sleeping after all so it's not a fashion show."
He said, chuckling. After searching through the drawers, he pulled out a Shirt & Pants For her to wear.
"They might be a little large on you, since you're a bit smaller than me.
Give those a try and you should be fine for the night I hope."
He said, turning around to give Seira some privacy to get changed.
"Just uh- tell me when you're finished."
