Yuri nodded and closed his eyes. He needed to think about sleep. It was the only way that he could fall asleep. Before he knew it, the soft slumber crept up on him and he soon drifted into a nice sleep.

The owl found it's way to the charming hearts room and pecked on one of the windows with a note and feather in it beak. It pecked every few seconds until one of the came over.
The Note:
Dearest Alec and Dearest Yuri, I hope your night has gone well. I want to extend an invitation for both of you to come to my home for breakfast. I expect both of you by 9 tomorrow morning. With this letter is a Golden Feather. Make sure you bring that with you. Just walk in the Garden along the lake. If both of you touch the feather, you both shall be able to spot my home.

Alec awoke to the pecking and went to the window. 'What could that be at this time of night?' He yawned a little and opened up the window, taking notice to the owl. "An owl." Taking the note, he read it and grabbed the feather. "An invitation from the headmistress. It wouldn't hurt to go. I'll let Yuri know when he wakes up."

Yuri Yusami Confused Little Boy
Yuri felt the sun shine upon his face as he awoke the next morning. The sun was just starting to rise in the sky. Fear crossed his face next. How could he have slept through the night like no one was after him. He stood up started to shuffle around the room, looking for a place to hide. Surly if his uncle didn't come in the night, he was coming in the morning.

Alec had already gotten dressed and was sitting on his bed when Yuri got up. "Relax Yuri." He smiled, holding up the feather in his hand. "Did you sleep well? It's alright. You're safe." What else was he supposed to say? Alec had already figured out that Yuri would be a little frightened.

Yuri stopped in his tracks when he heard someone speak. It was Alec. He was right....he was safe here."Th-thanks....."He looked down and walked over to his bed."So what's the feather for?"He was still slightly on edge, but he was better knowing Alec was here.

Alec smiled upon seeing Yuri calm down. It wasn't surprising at all to see his friend afraid. After everything Yuri had been through, it was to be expected. "Good morning Yuri." He twirled the feather in between his fingers and turned to Yuri. "This feather lets us see where the home of the headmistress is. It's actually a little bit past the garden. You have to touch the feather in order to see it."

Alec smiled and placed a hand on Yuri's shoulder. "It's alright Yuri. She invited us to have breakfast. Look, I understand if you don't want to go. We have to be there by 9 if you want to go. You know that I won't force you to go anywhere you don't want to. However, you should talk to her. It might be good for you." Perhaps the headmistress could help him overcome his fears.

Alec was right. He should probably talk to the headmistress."Promise me that if I can't say anything about my past, that you speak up....I...I trust you to tell her if I can't.....that is.....if we get there."Yuri tried to put on a brave face. What Yuri didn't know is that the headmistress was the one who promised Brother E-Sumi-Yan her protection and that she was already aware of his past.

Alec smiled and gave Yuri a small hug, figuring that he needed one. "I promise Yuri. Go ahead and get ready alright. We still have plenty of time to get there." He stood up and stretched a little. "Ow. That floor sure isn't very comfortable. I was half asleep, so I guess that I didn't pay it no mind." Laughing a little, he pulled on his shoes and grabbed a small amulet out of his bag. 'I'll never forget.'

Alec's hug did wonders to his nerves. It eased them, made them almost nonexistent. He went over to his bag and pulled out some clothes and changed in the closet so he could change without having to be too embarrassed about himself. When he walked out, he looked to Alec."I'm ready."To Yuri, this was everyday wear so he didn't think too much of how formal he actually looked.

Alec smiled and chuckled to himself a little. He wasn't sure what to say about Yuri's choice of outfit. To him, it seemed a little too formal, but maybe it wasn't that way for Yuri. "Let's get going then. And later I'm going to teach you about casual clothes in this world. Not that there's anything wrong with what you're wearing."'I need to stop.'

Yuri noticed something different in Alec today, almost making him blush slightly when Alec smiled. He didn't know what it was, but he was starting to become more comfortable around him. He was then confused when Alec mentioned about casual clothing."What? This is casual in Ul'dah. I mean there is less....well outfits that show more skin than this in Ul'dah, but this is casual."

Alec laughed a little, putting the amulet around his neck. "Clothing is different for every world. It never hurts to try new things once in a while. There happens to be a clothing shop in town if you ever want to check it out." He couldn't be sure what sort of clothes Yuri had been exposed to. Alec figured that trying something new would help him feel more comfortable and blend in better. "We can talk about it later. It is time for breakfast. Follow me."
