Username: xxR o z e Student Name: Aleanette Prompt Rolled: 7
Quote: Number Rolled Ends in an Odd Number: Oh wow! It's a little blurry, but you did an awesome job! Photo:
Response: It had taken Aleanette quite a while to figure out what she wanted to do for her photography assignment. It wasn't until she saw a couple holding hands, the soft greens of one’s fur blending seamlessly with the pale yellows of their partner’s, that she decided on something simple and still elegant. Her eyes lit up as she'd grabbed her camera and went around to find the perfect set of models for her shot. Of course she asked the two that originally inspired the idea and was delighted when they agreed. With her nervous smile and soft spoken inquiries, she managed to get quite a few people to join her shot. Quickly she threw out a dark backdrop before turning to her models, “Okay, uhm.. can… Can I get you two to come over here?” She pointed to where she wanted the first two, “And hold your arms out like this.” She demonstrated the angle she wanted their arms, “Link your fingers like this.” She couldn't help the shy flush that spread over her cheeks as she laced her fingers with a pretty blue baphomet. Once everyone had their places, arms outstretched and fingers loosely linked, she stood back enough to try and find the perfect angle. She rounded the group once or twice, lifting her camera to test the angle through the lens before ultimately dropping it again to move on to another spot. Finally she found her angle and snapped the shot, beaming with pride as she ran off to the developing room.
In the end, she was extremely proud of the photograph she presented. It was slightly blurry, but it added to the beauty of it. The harmony that sang through the image was only intensified by the added inability to distinguish where one individual began and the other ended. It was gloriously imperfect.

May 2018 Academy: Photography Username: Panda Moor Student Name: Malikah Prompt Rolled: 7 - Oh wow! It's a little blurry, but you did an awesome job! Photo:
Response: Malikah enjoyed his elective class, feeling content with the camera in his hands. He didn't like taking pictures of people yet, but then again he didn't like pictures of himself either. Tasked with taking a picture with vivid colors, the hybrid stepped outside. Below was usually dark and grey, but the evening sky immediately caught his attention. Would others take a similar shot of the sunset? Probably. But the bright pinks stood out to him.
He snapped three pictures, immediately reviewing them. They were not perfectly in focus (it was hard to get crisp edges on clouds), but the streaks of pink stood out perfectly the same as how he saw it from the eye. His tail swished back and forth happily, and he slid the best picture he had into his folder to turn in for his assignment.

Username: Hobo Pixi Student Name: Quentin Prompt Rolled: 18 - Number Rolled Ends in an Even Number: Wow, that is one heck of a picture! Pretty much professional! Photo:
Response: While a bit nervous, Quentin had decided to take a photography elective. He didn't know a lot about taking photos, which seemed a perfect reason to take the course. Trying to decide what kind of image to capture for the assignment, he stayed up late the night before the project was due. After talking with his mothers, and helping get the younger kids to bed he went and sat outside on the front porch. Looking to the sky, he saw how the lighting across the trees seemed to almost paint a scene straight out of one of his astronomy books. Rushing to his room to get his camera, he came outside, taking the image as the starlight glimmered. It made him think of Aendre, was his boyfriend looking up at the same starry sky? The idea made the shy boy smile.

Username: Hobo Pixi Student Name: Quentin Prompt Rolled: 17 - Number Rolled Ends in an Odd Number: Oh wow! It's a little blurry, but you did an awesome job! Photo:
Response: Wade was more or less bored, and just excited to work on getting through all of the required classes to move onto the next thing. While no real ideas for what the junior wanted to do had really formed, it still was important to get it all done. He didn't really care for school, but it was better than flunking. Once the assignment was detailed, Wade had a good idea in mind. The trick was timing. If it didn't rain between now, and when the assignment was due..they would have to come up with something else.
As luck would have it, Wade got his shot. It was blurry, but the overall appearance came out great! Proud of his efforts, Wade turned in the image that next day in class before sitting down with a grin on the hybrid's face.

June 2018 Academy: Photography 1, Student rolls a d20. 2. Post a small RP response in thread with the student's reaction to their photo. 3. Post a photo of an animal that would be found in a neighborhood. 4. Must be at least 100 words total 5. ??? Profit!
Username: leon_a_darkangel Student Name: Natasha Prompt Rolled: 12 : Wow, that is one heck of a picture! Pretty much professional! Photo:
Response: Natasha loved photography. The old saying that a picture was worth a thousand words seemed fairly accurate. Taking a picture meant something was saved forever and could be revisited. As she was trying to step through the doorway into her future, Natasha decided it was best to follow directions and focus on what the instructor asked. Heading into the city she went looking for cute critters to take pictures of! The hybrid grinned as she adjusted her camera, focusing..before click went the camera. It wasn't a brand spanking new device, but it got the job done.
The end result made her beam with pride, as it came out better than she'd hoped for.
While she did not plan to become a professional photographer, the fact she wanted to become a nutritionist and personal chef..it wouldn't hurt to know how to get good display pictures of the things she made right? The idea made her scratch a thoughtful claw against her chin in consideration.

Response: A critter that one would find in a neighborhood. Well the first one that popped into mind was a cat or some other pet. However that almost seemed like a cop out. Pherein would have to think on it a bit. As time passed, It was until she was wondering around that the answer practically ran in front of her. As it stopped to stare at her for just a moment she took a picture. Yep a raccoon, definitely found in a neighborhood and looking at the picture it even came out pretty nice. She was happy with it at the very least and would definitely use this picture.

Response:Fiore wasn't sure what made her take photograph but it was fun none the less. Of course she wasn't too sure on what animal she should use. It was then as she was sitting down that the answer came to her. Well it started barking at her for lack of a better word. She didn't even know squirrels could sound like that, so she took a picture in retaliation. It came out a bit blurred but she had a fun story to go behind the picture when she showed it. Eventually spine squirrel stopped barking and she shot another pic. Still blurry but better. She would just have to practice more

Username: nasaiki Student Name: Seraph (senior) Prompt Rolled: 18 - Number Rolled Ends in an Even Number: Wow, that is one heck of a picture! Pretty much professional! Photo:
Response: When it came to electives seraph knew that he wanted to take photography again. As the child of a celebrity he was often the subject of photographs and part of him still wanted to feel what it was like to be on the other side. Plus it was fun, to look at the world and take a frame of one moment in time. So he went over to a friend's house and started looking around the neighborhood. There were various squirrels and there was a raccoon or two but there was also a picture of a black cat. So having found his muse he took a shot of it. The picture was pretty good quality and it made him happy enough.

Response: Excited to get through his class, Juro had borrowed a camera from his photography class. He was confident he'd be able to get a good shot...as long as he remembered to take the lens cap off. Frowning when he inspected his first image, Juro looked sheepish as he rubbed his neck...taking the cap off.

Response: Juro had to admit, once he realized he had the lens cap on..and removed it, he was good to go. He still had a sheepish smile on his face as he set about finding a good angle. It wasn't easy taking pictures outside...especially following around critters as they moved. So he would have to rely on his experience with taking pictures in times past. Lost in thought he watched one of the felines move towards him. The way it moved was breathtaking really, especially as the creature moved a bit slower allowing him to capture a perfect moment. Juro felt his heart skip a beat as he raised up his camera. He just had to capture this moment, he couldn't wait to show Natasha! Even she would be able to see how obvious the quality was.... too bad she wasn't out here with him right now. The thought made him smile.

Username: Hobo Pixi Student Name: Cerise Prompt Rolled: 4 - Number Rolled Ends in an Even Number: Wow, that is one heck of a picture! Pretty much professional! Photo:
Response: Cerise had considered a few different ideas on what to make her photography assignment be the focus about. She knew she wanted to do something nature related. Although the the instructor had said critters in the city. Be it flowers..or a river....she loved trees, and all things outdoor related sounded nice. Especially when it involved water or flowers. Oh well! Wandering aimlessly, the girl came across a beautiful winged creature a little ways away from the Academy. Awestruck, she decided to sit and enjoy the view before she would take any pictures. Her wings were folded neatly behind her, admiring the wings on the other creature. Stretching her legs, she decided to get her camera at the ready.
The image quality was nearly professional quality. She was pleased with the result as she grinned happily.
