Kanika - Post 1
There were so many of them.
Kanika’s eyes roamed everywhere, to all the different faces and colors and patterns and crystals and and and…
She took a breath to calm down. She could not get overwhelmed right now, they had to protect Niva. She had to keep her mind on that. Very few sisters had decided to come, her sister had been asked and so had an older sister named Naqenni. They were a small group, hoping to go unnoticed. But Kanika soon realised that they would be noticed, even cloaked they could not hide how different they were to the rest of these… Earthlings. She just hoped that the reaction would not be a violent one because in a sea of monsters there would be no way out.
“I thought our mothers had prepared us…” but this, this was on a whole other level. “But I do not feel prepared at all.” Sure they’d been lectured over and over again by the matron, and their mothers had also tried to stuff as much knowledge into them as they could for their survival. However, being here now, standing amongst them, Kanika was not so sure there ever had been enough preparations for this. She had so many questions she wanted to ask, but remind quiet. It was not the time; she would wait to be back in the quietness of home.
Still… They all looked so different. How was that even possible? All the Elaria looked similar, so did all the Alkidikes. Yet all of these people were all sort of different from the rainbow. Dark skinned beings with the lightest hair she’d ever seen. Blue skin, dark skin, and even skin with three different colors on it! There were even… Alkidike hybrids. Kanika stared wide eyed as one of them walked past her. It was hard to miss the antennas and those black eyes… but the skin color and hair was different.
“Did you see that?!” She whispered to Zayanna. “An Alkidike Hybrid!”

Ziel - Post 1
Ziel was in her version of heaven. So many people, so many different beings all reunited in once place. One moment. It was wonderful. Her mother had gone off with her father and they’d left her on her own with her own money to spend and such. They were finally starting to let her go and it felt very very nice to have such freedoms to herself! She wondered if she would see any of her friends here, or at least anyone she’d met at least once before. Clapping her hands together, Ziel weaved through the crowd. She didn’t know what to do with herself!

Hargitt - Post One
Despite living in Sauti his entire life this was the first time Hargitt was able to experience the Grand Market. Between his work with the family herd, and hunting with his Uncle there simply hadn't been the time for it. Of course, his parent's attended, sometimes sending his elder brothers in their stead to sell off some of the capramel and trade for goods.
So, really, he supposed he could have gone if he wanted.
Hargitt just never wanted to.
To him it was nothing more than a really large, really obnoxious trader's post filled with far too many people for his liking. He couldn't take two steps without bumping into someone, which was off putting, and was....was that a yaeli?

Rhag'na - Post 1
It was nice to be out of Zena for a bit, he didn’t miss the cold. Still, this was something the group could not miss out on. The opportunities for new gear and weapons was too great to avoid it. Plus, if any dangers did arise they would do so from this very spot, everyone seemed to have showed up to the event. Rhag’na found himself wondering if that girl would show up too. Hopefully with her brother so he could have a word with the man. He ought to keep a better eye on his sister after all. But thought aside, Rhag’na made his way in with the other warriors and briefly wondered if Tryston would show up.

Kauffpost two"Long enough," he said in an exaggerated, teasing mutter. "Kidding." He might have preferred knowing that she was exploring and fighting and causing trouble like he liked to think he did, but she had her reasons for staying put and he had no right to tell her to do otherwise. It wasn't like he had been doing much fighting recently anyway. Not without a hammer.
"I may get tired, but I'll still try. They'll have to cut my old, wrinkled legs off to get me to stay in one spot." He snorted, bending over to pick up his familiar when Rawn caught Kauff's boot and dug in his claws. "So, is there anywhere in particular you want to set up? Or we can wander around for a while?" He didn't really care what they did. Just being here was enough for him.

Tyiva - 1
There were admittedly a lot of strange earthlings here. While Tyiva had told herself that she would be fine the petite Alkidike was oddly thankful for the Oban who had continued to travel with her. But the problem was even if she found her sisters here in this mess how would she handle things? Pursing her lips into a slight frown the warrior in training suppressed a sigh. They would surely tease her for relying upon an earthling and take that as yet another reason for their belief in her inability to travel without them.
I suppose then it is best if I just stayed around her a bit longer....after all am I not to observe everything? Secretly her main worry was if she got caught then she would be pulled into a protective group of Alkidikes who surely wouldn't let her truly observe. It would be a sacrifice of her secret mission! Crinkling her nose at the thought Tyiva paused as a rather sweet smell caught her attention. Her antenna moving ever so subtly in that direction the girl reached out to catch her companion's arm, "What is that smell? It's not a poisonous plant, is it? Yet, I've never smelled a food like that before... there's so much that's strange here." Surely she had never left the deeper forests before and had never seen so many people let alone understand the true concept of market stalls.

Amarone - 1Amarone wasn't too far from home, and she was at one of her favorite events of the year. The Grand Market was always full of such great innovations and things for her to discover. The people as well, were so colorful and exciting and she just couldn't handle it. There were Matori and Obans, and she even heard rumors of a Yaeli who was wandering about right out in the open. Oh what a time to be alive! As Amarone wandered about, she realized through her distraction that she was now in the taylor section of the area, surrounded by colors and fabrics. After a moment of contemplation, she simply decided an adventure really had no bounds, and continued to wander about until she approached a petite matori draped in fabrics. For a long moment she openly stared, before she decided to simply walk up and join Amari where he was. "I'm sure you'll make some fantastic outfits thanks to all the different fabrics around here!" She greeted cheerfully.

Nadiya - 1
Jumping around the market, Nadiya beamed. This was the first time she had gotten out since coming back home and talk about exciting! The petite Matori seemingly flew through the crowds of people as she visited place to place. Her sister though was here with her today so the bard was trying her hardest to behave...a little...okay not really.
Still, Nadiya had to take a moment to swing around on her heels so that she could survey the area, "Where do we even begin?" She asked with her gaze glimmering with energy.

Iriyana Post 1
She looked toward her mother, wanting to roll her eyes, and gave a swift nod of her head. Riya then looked down at the Perzi that stay practically glued to her legs. The poor thing was looking at everyone around them and growling. She was sure he would start hissing and spitting soon. "Calm down Hugs." The young Ice female reached down and scratched the creature's head before she moved along to walk with her brother. Of course she was too late to say anything about him getting ready to run into someone. Or rather, the two of them colliding. So when it happened she just shook her head at him and looked at the other person. Riya almost laughed aloud when she saw that it was Li. "What luck."
Well at least they found someone to hang out with. The perzi at her side moved to stand in the space between her legs and hiss at Li defensively. Since this was the first time her familiar was meeting her friend she didn't expect him to play nice. "Li.. meet Hugs. He's a jerk." Riya grinned and pointed down at her hairless pet.
After that, when her best friend and her brother started to talk about the little thing that Uli had kept in a sling, she turned her attention to the crowd. Her yellow eyes scanned the faces there hoping to see someone familiar or even someone worth getting to know.
SwordOfTheDarkOnes Uli ((And vague mention of Eiri))

Huyana Post 1
"Listen to your mother kids!" He called out after the twins as they wandered off. His head shook slightly but he took in a deep breath anyways and let it out slowly.
When Eirlys mentioned going to find something for themselves he smiled at her. "Uh huh, and what is it that my Ice Queen wants?" Huy placed an rm around his wife's waist to pull her closer to him as they walked. He had a weakness for her and would get her just about anything she wanted. Unless he had a good and clear reason to say no. Which he never seemed to have. "I new outfit maybe?" His eyes brightened a little and he gave her a once over before winking back.
It was times like these that he was grateful for Valek. The boy could run the booth while he went and spent time with his family. It gave Huyana peace of mind.

Serrpost one"Yes."
It was all he could manage in that moment, though Serr did squeeze Eziya's hand in his to let her know he wasn't brushing her off or completely lost in his own mind again. He hadn't quite realized just how accustomed he'd become to the crowds in Oba and Matori; how out of practice. It might have been the slim chance that Jyn could somehow show up here that had him feeling additionally addled. It might have also been the shirt. It didn't have sleeves, but it was still almost disconcerting to wear. Whatever it was, Serr's focus was rather scattered, though he was, as always, keeping an eye out for those who might do them harm.
"We should travel more," he said, voice barely audible in the bustle.

Kalliope Post 1 Since learning of the market she had wanted to go, despite her condition, so when Ouen had come back from his trip she asked him if they could attend! Lucky for her the shifter was up for more travels and possible adventures. Or maybe he was just being nice and giving her what she wanted? Kalli didn't care! She was at the largest market in Tendaji! It was a shame that she couldn't dance with a baby belly since this would be the perfect place to do so. Imagine the coin one could make and the notoriety! There was a wistful sigh that escaped her but she didn't seem too upset. Instead she waddled along with one hand on her belly protectively as the other rested on her lower back. "Such pretty trinkets. I wonder if I should find one for the baby." Kalli mused as she passed by several vendors. Though since she didn't know if she was having a boy or a girl yet she wasn't sure if she should get anything gender based. Stereochrome Ouen- if he wants to be with Kalli. XD

Uzumati - 1
His uncle had told him about the event, but even Uzumati wasn't prepared for the ocean of earthlings that moved around him. A gruff sigh of frustration escaped him as he tried to turn away from one earthling to only bump into another. How was he supposed to navigate this place? Surely his uncle was wrong to drag him out here away from his precious woods! It was just too chaotic. Not only that, but he had left him here as well to go and talk to some strangers! Now Uzumati was just frustrated because he had no idea where he himself should go. Instead he was too busy being bumped left and right by strangers...
Truly it made the man clench his fists. His uncle had forbade him though from starting any brawls. Defending himself was fine, but the wild man was not allowed to start any fights. Else he wouldn't get the new arm guards that his uncle had been working on. However, his attention went away from the arm guards to instead focus on something he saw shimmering in the light. At least there were some pretty things here.
Without truly thinking about it Uzumati took a few bold steps towards the booth so he could reach in and hold up a string of pearls. Honestly he was so easily captured by such things that he didn't even realize that getting to the jewelry and sparkling trinkets had resulted in bumping against a female who had been standing there as well...

Nivalis - Post 1 The world was certainly a far larger place than Nivalis had originally anticipated.
She didn't know why she'd expected that this mainland market would be just that, on the mainland, immediately visible as soon as she and her sisters traversed the seas. Such was not the case, as there'd been still a great deal more travel to be done after reaching shore. So much travel. Across so many lands. All different and strange. Though not necessarily horrible. At least, Niva thought it less horrible than certain other members of her group.
Deserts, forests, crystal rivers brighter than any she had at home. Many things were brighter than she had at home. The sun, the sky, the people. She wanted to touch all of it, and take a little with her. But that could wait until their return trip.
For now, she narrowed her eyes at the crowd ahead. "They are... smaller than I imagined," she admitted, though Niva herself was hardly large enough to see over most of them. Her sisters seemed nervous, hesitant, agitated, and a great myriad of other displeasing emotions. They should be pleased. These were the first steps their race had taken out of Yael. Her gift to them. Besides, she would've been warned if there was truly anything to fear. Surely she would have.
But since there were so many other peculiar people about, and everyone so strange to everyone else, Niva doubted any of the Earthlings would take any special offense to the small group of Elaria. Everyone was weird here, so that essentially made them not. Hopefully. In theory.
With a brief tug at her eldest sister's hand, Nivalis dipped into the crowd. "I am interested in the Earthlings' food. And their weapons and herbs. And jewelry. We've so much to see. Come on!" She called behind her.

Jhin - 1
Care of anyone suspicious, Jhin.
Moving through the crowds Jhin could only shake his head. He had agreed to come with his family to help out, but his father's wariness truly put a damper on events. Couldn't they just enjoy this without being worried of someone robbing their stalls constantly? The life of a merchant. He truly was hoping that this wasn't going to be his future...it seemed rather stressful to worry about goods so often.
At least he could take a break from the stall now to wander about the event. Though Jhin had to secretly grin at his own crazy plan. At his hip rested a rather large bag -secretly full of pebbles more than coin- and the boy was making certain to put a show on when he bought food with coins from the bag. There. Perhaps that would persuade someone with itchy fingers who had been eyeing his family's stall to instead follow him. And if not at least he could enjoy the event now that he had persuaded his father that he could keep thieves at bay in his own special way.
