The expression on Shun's face was as unreadable as ever. Well. Aside from him obviously being hung over. There was a sense of discomfort in his features, there. But from an emotional standpoint, he seemed to be blank while Chel explained the extent of what he had said to her.
"I see..."
It was too much, as far as he was concerned. Of course he would have said too much. He had been drunk off his a**.
"You can forget about all of that. It... It is not relevant."

Chel tried to put it as softly as she good. "It ... doesn't just go away 'cause you tell it to." She knew that better than anyone. "It's relevant t'me 'cause m'yer friend an' m'worried."
But Shun was probably fine. "Fer what s'worth I really won't tell nobody nothin'. I don't snitch." The sentiment was repeated because it was true.

"I know. But you really do not need to worry about me. Nobody needs to..." he uttered lowly. Shun fell silent after that, and it took him a little while before he said anything else.

She chose to ignore addressing his gratitude, thinking it might somehow be easier on him if she brushed past it. But she did smile.

Shun still had a hand over his face, so he didn't see that smile. He just fell silent again, trying to ride off the hangover. It really didn't help, considering the things that had been plaguing his mind prior to him getting drunk off his a** were creeping back and settling down. Yeah, he really had achieved nothing the night before.

Unless he was drunk, but he was not planning on doing that again anytime soon. If he could help it, anyway.

It was it's own brand of frustrating, wanting so desperately to help and always ending up in second place to his pride. Maybe third if you counted his stubbornness too.

Shun just kind of blinked at her, not sure why a cave was important right now.
"Trusting people is a mistake."
He was told he should reach out more often... But he could do that without really giving his trust. It was so much easier to just close everything off anyway. He trusted Jeremiah in a way. Looked up to him. And that was what made everything worse in the end.
