a night outIt would be hard to miss the cues but Aodh was- Well.Aodh was something and Jaro's hand wrapped around his still did things to his stomach (more so than the close dancing did). It wasn't like water was the only thing he had thought of but there was still that part of him that really had no idea how to proceed with Jaro. His fingers squeezed around the other's, giving him a small smile as they came up to the bar. Apparently it wasn't that hard for him to flag down the bartender, who gave Aodh an appreciative once over, to get a bottle of water. Not that the blonde was releasing his grip on Jaro anytime soon it seemed.

a night outThe bartender got a polite warning smile, the kind that noted that once over and said 'stay away'. The music was still loud, so he was bopping a hip lightly. He had to lean to Aodh again to talk, lips near brushing his ear, "So more dancing later? Or was that our graceful exit?" His arm wound around Aodh's as he kept hold of his hand. Just making them stand closer. When the water arrived he hijacked it first, taking a gulp, before handing it over with a smile.

a night outLips against his ear had Aodh shivering again, goosebumps rising on skin. "Graceful exit?" he asked, looking a little hopeful. Mostly because ... Well. It was a little more than he usually expected for an evening out. His hand loosened from Jaro's hold as that arm went around his waist. Aodh's fingers searched it back out once the hand settled on his hip, holding it once more. Jaro got a look, a roll of his eyes and a smile, at stealing the water but he took it anyway. "Too much of a crowd for me." Aodh laughed a little bit but it was true. As much as he did not mind Jaro being close, the rest of the dance floor? Not so much.

a night outJaro didn't seem at all bothered leaving, not while Aodh was being so receptive. He waited and watched the other drink, before he was hip bumping him lightly towards the door. "Night cap at my place?" He leaned in and murmured, "Or do you have to go home?"

a night out"No, I don't have to go home." Aodh was entirely pink again. "We can head back to your place." Really what was he saying? ... but he wanted to all the same. His hip bumped back against Jaro's, head tilting towards the door. "So get an uber and let's head out?"

nightcapThe clinginess had only lessened slightly as they traveled back to Jaro's house, though he seemed to always keep a hand on Aodh somehow the entire trip. Even as he had a full conversation with the uber driver about what was playing on the radio and oh those are some cool sculptures on the scrapyard lawn. The door to the house was bumped open and his keys tossed carelessly onto a nearby tabletop so he could flip on a lamp and cast the living room into a dim light. It wasn't the type of lamp that lit up a whole room and everything went dark towards the kitchen and hall. "Want a drink?" He was pulling away slightly, towards the kitchen, as he grinned, "Doesn't have to be alcoholic. Can be coffee if you want."

nightcapAodh was ... Aodh was something and Jaro's lack of focus on him but constant hand on him was something else. He was still pink but the alcohol flush had waned considerably with the time that had passed and the dancing. "Ah, surprise me?" he replied, smiling slightly. Really he had no preference, just that he wouldn't mind something to drink.

nightcapJaro smiled a bit and let his touch finally slide away from Aodh so he could go into the kitchen and hit the overhead light. "Did you have fun?" A movie, then food, and dancing. This whole 'possibly' dating thing seemed to come to a head with an actual date. Jaro was fairly pleased with all of it.

nightcapAodh ended up following along, halfway tempted to hop up onto a clear space on one of the counters. ... so he did, letting his legs cross at the ankle and leaning back a little on his palms to watch Jaro. "I did," there was that real smile of his, "especially everything after the movie." The latest X-men movie was not his favorite, no.

nightcap"A shame we barely got to see Oscar Isaac for a second before he was tube head guy," Apocalypse, "But Magneto is always the best." Jaro shrugged. He liked all the X-men movies for what they were in special effects and action. Jaro happened to own an espresso machine which he was using at the moment before fetching some mugs. "We should just watch the new Star Wars. Have you seen it?"

nightcap"Is that because Magneto is awesome or because he's decked out in your favorite color?" Aodh was laughing a little, feeling relaxed and at ease. "I saw it but I wouldn't mind seeing it again. Or marathoning the original trilogy again and then watching it." This was very nice. Not at all what he expected for his evening but he liked it all the same.

nightcap"Obviously because I like him and I have the best taste." That was all the reason Magneto needed for being awesome. "A marathon?" Jaro's brows rose, "I'll be making more coffees I think." Once the machine was going he was able to move closer, slide a hand over Aodh's knee and lean on him, "And I'm glad you liked the club.." He said softer and with that smile again.

nightcap"I didn't mean marathon them all tonight." Or they could but Aodh had definitely meant in the future. He was shaking his head, still watching Jaro as he started up the machine and the smell of coffee filled the air. "Ah," he started and then stopped. Jaro's hand on his knee, the other leaning on him, had him turning red all over again. That smile was trouble. He knew it was because of the way it made his stomach flip and then flop. "It was nice," his voice was softer, "I had fun." Though thinking about the dancing just made him go redder because what had he been thinking? Wait, he had not been and that was likely for the best. "Don't think it means you can take me out dancing all the time."

nightcapJaro squeezed the knee and scratched lightly under his hands. He scrunched his nose with a laugh, "I'm absolutely taking you dancing more now that I know you can. I'm not letting you willingly be no fun." His brows lifted, an unspoken 'go ahead and challenge me'. The coffee smell started to flood the kitchen as Jaro gave Aodh's knee a lingering squeeze and went back to the machine to wait for it to finish and pour.

nightcapAodh rolled his eyes but was still smiling. "So do I make this worse by admitting I've taken several dancing lessons?" His leg stretched out when there were scratching fingers at his knee and then settled back once Jaro pulled away. "... but it wasn't for fun to learn," he said with a small smirk. Can't make him fun, Jaro, you just can't.
