"I...I can do it," Rodney said, clenching Seven like prayer beads.
He'd just have to catch it. Just wrap around its tiny, angry body, and nobody would have to hurt it anymore. And it wouldn't hurt anyone else.
"Please, God..." he prayed.
To his surprise, after a swift motion and a deep breath, he had the tiny, squirmy hedgehog wrapped up in Seven's chains. It wriggled around a little more, before giving up with a grumble and staying limp and indignant.
"What...what do we do with it?" Rodney asked.
Harrison rolled his shoulder, shaking himself out and dragging his gaze away from an indignant glare at Lawrence. "Anybody got a pokeball?"

Melvin walked over to look at what caused them this much trouble. "No, but I'm sure we can find a heavy rock."

"No!" Rodney said, holding the chained creature a bit closer. "Don't we have a...a box?"

Melvin stared at Rodney, the annoying little creature, and sighed. He took off his scarf and held it out. "Wrap it."

gaia_crown [ Round 2 ]
Inside the Cavern, it's dark and difficult to see, and it smells strongly of brine and fish. You're standing at the beginning of what looks like a center room, with several other rooms split off of it, but it's too dark to see what exactly they are.
- Use the diagram in the spoiler tags below to move around the room! You start at the heart square. - You will be rolling 1d4 ten times. - The key is: 1 = up, 2 = down, 3 = left, 4 = right - If you're at the edge, and you roll in that direction, you don't move, and stay on that square - i.e. if you're on the heart square, and you roll a 1, you don't move anywhere, because you can't move upwards. - All players must roll 10 times. They must record each tile they have been on. If blank, it is a blank space.
BONUSES: - Life Hunters/ Undead/ Famine Horsemen: At any point you may FORFEIT your roll to choose any tile that is NOT a tile with a glyph on it to move to. You can only use this once. Note which tile you are moving to. - Death Hunters/ Reapers/ Death Horsemen: You may choose EITHER directions horizontal or vertical from each other equal to your dice roll. So if you roll a 4 (right), you may choose instead to go (left). If you roll 1 (up), you may choose instead to go down. This is unlimited. - Moon Hunters/ Demons/ Conquest Horsemen: Whenever you OVERLAP and step on a tile with a glyph you have already stepped on, you may choose instead, to immediately teleport to a tile with a glyph you have not stepped on. This is applicable two times MAX. - Sun Hunters/ Monsters/ War horsemen: Your may move UP TO 2 tiles at once in your direction! (You choose how many 1 or 2) - Mist Hunters/ Ghosts: You may copycat any ability above. Once you copycat it this is your passive ability. Roll a 6-sided dice before you copycat. If even, your copycat fails and you have no special abilities sad You can only attempt to copycat once.
- The goal after all the rolls is to have the players cross at LEAST FOUR of the FIVE tiles (at any point in the 10 rolls, they must have landed on these tiles). This means if player A crosses the heart tile and player B crosses Square and X tiles and player D the moon tiles, you are safe! The heart tile is a freebie (counts from the go!) - Once again any player can cross these tiles at any point in time, but somewhere along the 10 rolls they are granted all the players COMBINED must touch all 5 tiles. - If these conditions are NOT filled after 10 rolls then you must try again - a large vortex opens up in front of all players and swallows them whole! You have to pay 5 RP points to try again from start... - If these conditions are filled then move to ROUND 4.

Rep glared at Rodney as the hedgehog thing gave up.
"Oh for ******** sake." He snapped viciously. Of ******** course. The man might as well have been a woman for all the easy things which happened to him. Rep wasn't having a good day at all and really wanted to punch someone right in the face.
Lawrence just looked pleased with himself. "Won't it bite you?" He asked Rodney gently.

Rodney uneasily loosened Seven's chain. Instead of erupting into another ball of violent vengeance, the hedgehog simply panted a lot and gave the scarf a dismissive sniff.
"I think...it's okay for now." Rodney said. Minus the red hair, he looked like Misty holding Togepi.
"Lab will probably appreciate the sample," Harrison said. "Rest of the cave's down this way."
Rodney paled. "No, I... I don't want that."
"That's your job, isn't it?" Harrison asked. "Collecting info?"
"I can still collect information," Rodney said. "The Terra Cotta carving designs are beautiful." He examined the tiny paw. Surprisingly, the hedgehog let him. "Whoever made them took a lot of care. But the patterns are very old. 6th Century, maybe? Do you think it has a name? ...What do you think about us calling you Terra?"
They stopped at the dark mouth of another room. "Okay," Harrison said, still not sure about the hedgehog plan, "This is one of those puzzles I was talking about. There's nothing in here that'll hurt anybody. You just need to stand on the glowing tiles to move on ahead to where the artifacts are at."
"Just watch it and make sure it doesn't go nuts. Hold him or else someone might step on him." Like Melvin would as if he was snuffing out a cigarette.
Just as Harrison had warned, there was indeed a dark room and Melvin glanced at Lawrence for a moment before looking into the chamber. "Sounds simple enough then." He said.
Darkness was an opportunity.
Moving inside, he stood at a heart tile that glowed under his feet and he had to smile. It was like it was encouraging him to be bad.

Harrison was a lot less excited about the dark than some people.
Still, he navigated his way to a light up star.

"We just got to get four of these things, wherever they're at," he instructed.
Melvin peered out across what felt like an endless room and took a tentative step forward. Dark places were good if they were in, say, a movie theater where the screen gave some light, but all they had were the faint glow of the tiles. He could barely make anything out, let alone anything to touch.
