Ashral summoned her sword to her side and hopped through the open window and ducked down low as well, running just behind Ree as they move through the trees. She was concentrating on their surrounds as they moved, trying to keep her senses high enough to deflect any incoming attack that Ree could not stop with his barrier. "..stay alert... they may be expecting us with something we don't know about..." she whispered, glancing to the side before focusing on what was ahead of them.

"That's what I'm worry about. Up ahead. Armor unit stopped " his mind flickering over what he and Tri had helped with in ways that they hoped would translate to more arsenal to protect the humans. Well right now knowing and not knowing sucked when could be used back at you...and they had two days to prepare...they shouldn't be anything hidden on the path here not with how heavy the suits were and they were running before so not worried about setting off traps.
Spotting the armor unit ahead he frowned faintly again, it looked familiar but it has been spray painted.
"Hello there " the person in the unit whispered softly as he shot directly at Ree three times before the hydrolics to the arm suddenly failed. "HEXXIS GO TO SLEEP!!" he shouted alarmed. Come on reboot!!((singularity: 0 ))
Ree gasp as he felt something hit his shield and press right on through.
Ashral narrowed her eyes at the armor unit, something didn't feel right, but she kept running. As they shot at Ree, the first bullet pushed straight through the barrier, as she jolted in front of Ree suddenly, drawing her sword quickly to deflect the second two bullet, one of them even ricocheted right back at the armored unit. She growled as she honed in on the armor unit. She was getting angry, they were trying to kill him, and that fact would not fly with her at all. This wasn't tranqs anymore... these were people with a death wish. Her breath quickened and her heart slowed down to a calm but beat hard with each pump of blood. "...that feeling... yeah, I want to kill them..." she spoke softly but with a sense of sinister delight in her voice. "If they keep trying to kill you, I can't guarantee they'll make it out of this alive..." she was already debating running at the armored unit, teetering on the edge of control of her bloodlust. "..let me kill them.."

There was no time to react between the bullets passing the shield and hitting him, other than the one thought of //they broke through?// The next moment he blinked almost crashing into Hexxis but she was there ..she and Ashral and only the faint ping of bullets being deflected. "Thank you..." A breathless whisper, thick with fear and gratitude as the armor unit cursed.
Ree gasp breathing heavily as the next moment the world lurched in his mind, everything was made of glass. Fragile easily breakable glass..pulled along by a a force..a strong force ...and he was tiring.
He tensed for Ashral to fall ..to go to sleep and let out a breath when she did neither. //what are you doing? Move. Die. or Move//
Slowly his heartbeat calmed as the PA unit pulled out the tranq gun this time. "I don't recognize them. " he kept his eyes in the unit, " We'll make them bleed. No instant death hits unless he's winning. I'll keep them from dying but we will bring them close to it and Run" he hissed softly. "Power back is their design flaw " he said darkly, dropping his hold over his aura and expanding it before Enshrouding the helmet.
Ashral nodded as he thanked her. As soon as he told her to make them bleed, a grin formed on her lips. No instant deaths."No guarantees." without another word, she waited for him to drop in the shield before darting for the armor as fast as possible, a murderous grin on her face as she darted to the side of the armor and brought forth her sword, missing him on purpose and bring back her sword to slash through the back power. She turned, jumping up to wrap her let's around the top of the armor as she stabbed the top of the armor repeatedly trying to break through as she began to laugh, seeming to enjoy terrorizing the person inside, intending to make their brain a human shishkabob of only she could penetrate the armor.

"Move!" He shouted at the arm, darkness engulfing his field of vision before it switch automatically to night vision. With a growl he brought up the tranq gun with his movable arm and started shooting at Hexxis, wasn't she supposed to be done with those words? What was Ree still doing up?
He shot the second dart at the bird like meta and focused the last, third, toward Hexxis only to find her to close...much to close. He turned trying to doge her strike only to feel something hit his pack. "What the f***?!"

"... Someone get over here!!! I need help. Power pack damaged both subjects are still moving. Code phase is not working!!"
Reaching up he grabbed one of Hexxis legs and tried to pull it away before attempting to throw her. (Roll: 10. +10= 20 ) .
Ree held the dart that had been shot at him up in the air and smirked as he reached out and pulled at the arm that was damage, slamming it up and down, pulling the unit off balance as he tried to rip off the internal locks.making a large and larger gap between the lower part of the arm armor and the top one.
Ashral was laughing hard as she was starting to crack the helmet by the time he grabbed her leg and threw her down, a soft yelp escaped her letting as she s**t the ground. [13 defense resulting in 7 damage] Growling, she looked up to see the armor around their arm was slowly pulling apart. A weak point. Ashral swung her sword, intent on cutting their arm clean off now that it wasn't protected by the pesky armor. That would surely teach him a lesson for shooting Ree. She jumped back to her feet and got into a low stance, ready to attack again as she started intensely at him.

The intimidation aura combined with Ashral's effort and the banging and pulling was staring to freak him out badly especially as light started to shine through cracks on his helmet. His display screen was a mess, one small little girl did this this? This was idiotic!.
Lurching to his feet he was suddenly dragged on his unresponsive side, Ree? likely pulling the the restraints, he could feel them protest against his handling. Or was it the girl? Trying to slam her way through his arm like she did his helmet?!
Trigger: Blood
Turning he tried to swing and back hand the blur of purple he spotted on his shattered screen. For a moment there was nothing.. then a wave of pain as he started screaming while his body swung one way and the arm just plopped on the ground while spraying blood in an arch as he finished his motion. He raised his good armored hand and grabbed the stump still screaming as the valkyrie shard embedded inside the armor activated and slowly started to heal. Screaming and cursing them he backed up... can't even see!.
Ree shifted his wings slightly, trying to keep the cold instead of give in to the healer. Turning to look at the fallen weapon and what was still grasping it, he used telekinesis and lifted it slamming it down barrel first into the ground with 140 pounds of force. "Ash. Run. Incoming" the smirk was gone, he was staring at Ash now intently while the tranq dart floated a foot away from him. They won't chase them now, not if they wanted their teammate to live. "Ash. Lets go. If he is alive they won't chase us" he said quietly but firmly, waiting to see what she would so even as the pounding of heavy steps and disturbed greenery was starting to be heard. SIU made it so he can't block their bullets and Ash can't be in more than once place...everything seem so very fragile right now.
Astral laughed as blood splattered across her face and his arm fell away. She could hear ree commanding her to stop but her urges were stronger as she lunged forward, bridging the gap and slashing at the chest area of the armoredunit. She wasn't stopping.
'Astral stop! You're going to get us killed. You're going to get Ree killed!!!"
Astral reached up to the blood on her face, then licking it from her fingers. It wasn't until she had processed what Hexxis had said before she stop. "r-right..." Moving to Ree, she took his hand and began to run, darting to the side and continuing on, her heart ready to beat out of her chest with how much adrenaline was pumping through her veins now.

There was a flicker of surpise when Ash actually listened, pulling away from her bloodlust to grab his hand which he grasp back as they took off running. Adrenaline rushed through his body but he kept his mind clear, slamming the ground behind them with a half circle teleketic blast, sending dust, twigs and dirt flying up into the air and in the direction of the other units.
The unit Ash had slashed had fallen from the force of her attack, a few millimeter thick gouge as left on his chest plate as he fell over, reaching for a gun, and weapon with his free hand. Anything to get the devil of a child away.
Shouting could be heard behind them even a shot or two but badly aimed, it didn't stop him from flinching, pulling his wings in closer as he let go of Ash's hand and put another burst of speed but keeping close. jumping or phasing along rougher terrain, parts were the units could not go without flying or moving around. The shout behind them died off but he could hear the hum of electronics near by ..but it was moving away from them...likely intimidation. "Hums ahead!" He slowed, they could move away from them, go diagonal then try to take flight unless they had a chopper near by. Or not..likely hoped their armor unit's levitation would be all they need. Glancing toward Ash he breathed quickly, trying to see how she was holding up both physically and mentally, the dark still always floating a foot away from him. Not wanting to pocket it but also not wanting to lose it.
Ashral kept pace, jumping to where she needed to with ease, saving phasing herself unless she really had to. As Ree came to a stop, she looked around. He announced hums ahead and she gave a shot nod. "We need to go a different way. And when there's no more eyes, we need to disappear. They'll lose track of us and we can be free." she explained, with a slight smile to Ree. She took a deep breath to steady herself and slashed her sword to flick the blood from it before sheathing it.

Ree slowed and nodded returning the smile with a very faint one of his own. He was used to blood, that didn't affect him so much as.... "This way" he nodded in a direction that had no large hums, but broke out of the tree line into the broken ruins of a neighborhood with one or two people barely in sight. "...To the edges" he muttered moving back and kept moving instead of hiding in there."So you mean we turn into Shadows?" He cast her a faintly amused look "I'll follow your lead there.... "
Ashral followed Ree's lead, relying on his hearing to guide them away from powered armor. As soon as they were free from the trees, she looked out over the broken ruins and then moved along with Ree against the tree line as instructed.
"So you mean we turn into Shadows?"
"Figuratively, yes... That is what we are, isn't it?... Shadows. Let's just disappear from sight and they won't be able to track us anymore with the collar not working, right?" she looked around and saw some shadows in the distance. "Yeah, maybe if I concentrate really hard, I can get us to the other side of these ruins..." she paused and thought for a moment. "If I get us over there via shadows, can you get us further? The more distance between us and them, the better..."

"No....I can only teleport myself and any none living thing I an wearing or holding" there was a pause as he would have just left it there as a god explanation but right now he felt limited by what he didn't know of her and she likely felt the same about him. "I can only teleport as far as I can see as well " he muttered and shook his head. "We keep on moving, it makes no sense for you to exhaust yourself when we just have to keep away from them until nightfall. I can shroud us then fly us both away " he muttered quietly, pausing now and then to listen and keep moving.
Ashral frowned as he explained his teleportation couldn't transport both of them, simply nodding in understanding. She was ready to teleport them when he told her not to. She looked at him and blinked. A faint smile surfaced on her lips as he explained they could just keep moving. She nodded again and kept following him. "Good idea, just keep moving..." she paused and smiled. ♫ To find a place called Eden ♫
