Odette's eyes narrowed, teeth clenching under her lips. Her body tensed as she scanned her thinkpan for the right thing to say, how to deflect Kursha without making things messy. A feeling deep inside her flared up, desperate to wipe the smug grin of Kursha's face, desperate for revenge. Without thinking, she felt her hands ball into fists at her sides as she fought to keep her cool. His rudeness towards Fellah only continued to test her patience. Of course, Kursha was merely making more problems for himself by losing his cool. Odette was sure Aandes would have a field day with that. Interestingly enough, Odette was hardly fazed by having a gun pointed at her. She had died and been brought back to life so many times that it hardly fazed her anymore, and Vremea was standing just a few paces away if matters did come to that. No, it was Kursha's little play of self-righteousness that struck a chord with her. But before she had to say a word, Aandes had swooped in and handled the situation. Of course, she thought, relieved. She let out a breath she didn't know she was holding in. A sweet smile returned to her face. The cards had been shuffled back in her favor. When things got messy she just had to look pretty and let Aandes do the talking, and she was more than alright with that. She didn't accept the apology. Kursha's attempts at saving face were as fake as ever, faker than her own constructed personality. Watching Kursha leave, she inhaled sharply and let out a deep sigh, recalibrating herself. Back to the show, she supposed. "Thank you all for being so brave and patient," Odette congratulated, glancing particularly between Nucleo, Amonee, and Fellah. "I hate to make you wait even more, but I think I need to rest for a moment. I promise I won't take too long, though, I know how much you've waited to see me." Moving towards her break area, she stopped for a moment to turn to her agent, touching his arm softly in gratitude. "Thank you for that, Aandes," She said, and then turned back on her path to her break area.

Bellen watched carefully from her side next to the booth, watching the kids nearby and Odette protecting them, along with the intervention of the redblood-- She'd have to talk to him later, that was very brave-- and Aandes delivering that sick burn. Vremea had to hold in a chuckle-- Bellen didn't know, Bellen didn't know, she had to keep reminding herself this, but it was just too good to see him have to back down, even though she knew it wasn't over-- No, far from it. She understood why Odette would need a break, and after Kursha left, she felt a lot more relaxed, even if only temporary. She spun again, reading the passages intently.
Aha, so the lady she'd seen in the rehab center was Odette! She'd thought it was simply a trick of the light, but her morail was there around the same time as she. One more spin-- Dr. Resmem was and interesting character from what she'd heard, having mostly seen her from a distance and not quite yet spoken with her. In time. Unfortunately this square had a little arrow pointing down-- Back to 22! Squinting at the words, Bellen shook her head softly-- So much had happened to the poor troll! She was stronger for it, so much stronger. Vremea was terrible. This was an amazing piece of work-- no, art. Aandes had done so well! point total: 26+2= 28 +3= 31 > 22

It was understandable that she needed to rest. Anyone would need a break after something like that. Not only had she been held at gunpoint, her reputation had almost been tarnished after Kursha tried to smear her as a part of the rebellion. Thankfully Aandes had been there to save the day. The greenblood seemed like a smart guy to have those documents on standby. Amonee wondered if he managed up and coming painters too. Hah, like that made any sense!
"Thank you for calming things down yesterday. It was really scary. I don't know how you stayed so cool but... you were amazing." The jadeblood snagged Aandes for a moment to thank him. He shifted to reveal something hidden behind his back, a carefully arranged bouquet from one of Bloodfest's other booths!
"Can you give these to miss Odette? I hope she feels better soon." He didn't mind if the actress couldn't meet with them today. What mattered most was that she took care of her own mental and emotional health.
With such intense hate aimed at her yesterday, hopefully the love of her adoring fans would boost her spirits!

Once Aandes swooped in to handle Kursha, it seemed like everything fell into place and calmed down in as much time as it would take to snap your fingers. The redblood was left standing there after Kursha left, dazed, and a little confused. Had he just stood in front of a rifle? Had he just tried to tell someone off? This was all new territory for Fellah. As everyone dispersed, he quickly stepped back into the crowd, trying to process what had just happened. ---------- This booth gave Fellah a peculiar feeling now. He was still interested in seeing how Odette's story progressed further though. He gave Aandes a small wave before spinning the wheel, noticing that Odette was not around at the moment. 27 > 32

Feeling refreshed and recollected, Odette stepped back out to face her fans again. She moved smoothly over to her seat, but paused as her attention fell on a beautiful bouquet by her seat. Her eyes widened in elation. What a kind thought from an equally kind soul— or souls— she noted, reading the letter on the bouquet. What good children, she thought, and it warmed her bloodpusher. She hugged the flowers tight to her chest, blushing so hard she would match the flowers. Almost blubbering with emotion, she tried to keep herself together. She didn't want to fall apart and disappoint her fans anymore than she already had. So she turned her attention to Aandes, the only troll she could be open and truly honest with here at bloodfest. "Aandes— Aandes did you see?" She said, motioning with the bouquet. It was a stupid question, and Odette knew it. She just wanted to find a way to share her gratitude out loud.

Lorata hadn't felt much like visiting this booth again the past couple of nights, but here she was again, bubbly with excitement. Her eyes didn't stop moving as she approached the board game to play, searching out every troll in sight within the area of booth and very eagerly studying their faces before turning her attention back to the game with a quiet giggle. Let's see...She'd been at spot six before, so now her roll would take her...
Her smile turned a little quizzical as the game made her slide back two spaces to seven, but she took in the information it provided anyway. Dance companies and...ah, aerokinesis! That was right, Odette was supposed to be a powered troll! Interesting. She rolled again and her smile died. Right back to seven. She marked the spot with a little huff, irritated at the lack of progress, then swept a glance over the booth again before moving over to peer at the souvenirs for a very long time.

Moseying on over, Regina feigned walking past this booth, then turning in surprise. It wasn't as though any of this had been flying under the radar - even before she had heard reports of the confrontation between the star of the booth and a certain someone. If she hadn't planned on stopping by already, she would have been annoyed at Kursha's lack of restraint at her feel-good-happy-time festival, but as it was, he had unwittingly given her an excuse to show her face. And despite a good deal of time having passed since her little soiree, she had still agreed to watch the greenbloods back. It was doubtful if he had meant for the request to last more than the night, but Regina still considered it to be in her best interests to keep the promise standing. Striding casually up, she took her time slowly examining the booth's wares and advertisements with feigned interest. Starting at the opposite end from where Odette's seat was set up, she leisurely perused the length of the display, slowly advancing on the redblood and her teal agent.

The next day Bellen visited, it seemed there was another very important guest there once more. The hemoanon gulped at the sight of the Queen, but decided to take it in a stride, relaxing herself and continuing to play in the booth even as she was there. She decided to mind her own business, but hung around to occasionally glance at what was happening out of pure worry. She decided to busy herself with the game this time, having landed on a space she had already before and speeding up to the other squares, mhm, mhm, she'd just gotten to her betrayal, annd... Aha, new one! She'd helped rebuild Four Fronds? Bellen showed no expression, somewhat doubtful, but hey, she hadn't been there anyways, so... She followed the arrow to her last stop-- Odette being hired by Aandes-- Only to see she was almost at the end. A small feeling of accomplishment slithered through her. Almost there. Then, and only then would she talk to her. point total: 22 + 1= 23 > 26 + 4= 30 > 33 (holy <********> vremea wow)

Ah, the adoration of the youth. Aandes hadn’t felt something like this since the Chittentown drought (and even that was more generalized towards the efforts of the Queen). It shone all around him, with warm words and shoulder pats and knowing looks. It was… Uncomfortable. The change in his presentation towards these few trolls now marked him as some sort of heroic do-gooder. While his most realistic fake smile was plastered on his features throughout the interactions, Aandes wrinkled his nose in disdain as he settled back in at the booth. Fortunately, Odette’s time to recuperate from the situation gave him some time alone to not have to put on airs. He took a deep breath in and out, and as she re-emerged so did he. “I did. ‘Grats, that’ll be the first of many to come, I’m sure.” He grinned. “Good job keeping it together. He shouldn’t have grounds to come back. Though with his mindset who knows. Stay focused.” Aandes adjusted himself to hand out merchandise and – of course – the Queen herself strode up to the counter. His facial expression didn’t change. Aandes had a sudden electric memory of last Bloodfest, eavesdropping on Regina and Kursha. They’d gotten along well, didn’t they? He was now under her command. Who knew if he was on thin ice with her after recent events, but considering their certain… Whimsy for decision-making, Aandes knew he had to proceed with caution. Of all trolls Regina could instantly undermine him at best and cull him at worst. Best not give her any reason to. “Ah! Good evening, your Majesty.” He greeted her simply.

Fellah was getting so close to the end of Odette's story, well, in the board game anyway. Her life seemed so full of adventure. Compared to his own, which was completely lackluster. Fellah had always been content on his farm, living the simple life, but he couldn't deny that there was a certain excitement that came with such a life story. Spinning for tonight's move, Fellah found himself landing on the end of the game. He was excited, but at the same time, there were gaps in the little spaces he'd missed. He'd have to come back for sure and see if he could fill those blanks in.

Pausing a moment before putting down the brochure she had been squinting at, Regina smiled at Aandes. So here's a new player in the great game of troll politics huh, thinking he's going to push his chips into the arena? Admittedly he had gotten a very nice chip, polished it up and planned it out very nice. Glancing over at Odette, Regina nodded in response, and gave a broad smile. "Heya, LaMode right? Aandes LaMode?" Extending a hand, she leaned in and lowered her voice, still maintaining her friendly smile and eye contact. "I was wondering if we could have a little chit chat, on the side. If you're not too busy playing with the wigglers. Just quick - though I do want to catch you later as well. If that's alright." This was the troll that she really wanted to talk to, after all. Cygnet - Cygnet was a troll she had been aware of, for a while. She supposed it was some actual x factor about the girl, to make her a memorable lowblood that you didn't forget running into. But what had she done on her own? From the reports and 'factual board game', gotten kicked around her entire life, then chased into a swamp with the rest of her friends. Ineffectual and weak, with her sad helplessness being played up in this display. She wasn't anything but a useful face that was finally being utilized.

Once again, Odette was starstruck by Regina, unable to speak in the queen's presence. What was she supposed to say to such a casual approach? How was she supposed to sit? Should she smile or play things cool? She felt awfully underprepared. Only, she didn't want to talk to her after all. It was Aandes she was after. Certainly the greenblood would soak that up, and he deserved it, truly. But it felt out of place to say anything in the conversation at all anymore, seeing that she hardly a part of it to begin with. Odette cupped her face in her hand, attention waning away. Of course Regina wasn't interested in her. The queen had already made her opinions of Odette crystal clear at the last bloodfest. How could she expect anything different? With her other hand, Odette started to tap noiselessly on the booth. If the queen didn't care about her, that was good, right? It meant she only saw Odette as one of Aandes' pawns. A neutralized threat. A non-issue. Odette exhaled with a laugh and returned to signing autographs. amicableAggressor im quoting you guys despite odette not interacting with either of you at all

15 Vremea, a sordid book peddler with rebel tendencies, befriends you with her kindly nature and offers you stability, funds and a relief from your lusus. 17 Coming back to your home in New Hemisect, you find your lusus incredibly ill. You vow to make a better life for your family and yourself, and achieve your dreams. "" Caiden was scared off by the scary greenblood, and didn't come to this booth the last few days, but finally he did. It was important. Cool powered trolls had to stick together. The boy rolled his dice and his eyes sparkled as he learned more about Odette's life.

Space: 15 To see Vremea's involvement with the Phoenix Initiative publicly displayed surprised Autumn. She knew that shortly before her hatching the rebels had been betrayed and many of them compromised. Vremea had been no exception. Uneasy, Autumn glanced over at Caterpal. “She's the bad guy...” she whispered. Caterpal blinked out a curious, “Why?” Autumn did not respond but instead regarded the face of the booth, Odette Cygnet oddly.
