"S-Seriously? Showdown?!" It was completely unexpected. Sascha hadn't been paying attention to the literature of the booth beyond the words "dance" and "battling." More importantly, it was completely awesome.

So awesome that Sascha hadn't noticed his music had been playing on without him. Sascha heard heckling and snapped back to attention. He was almost starting to miss the cats. At least they were jarring enough to keep his focus.

Even the decent music wasn't enough for Sascha to catch up with what he'd missed. He tried to make up for lost time with an ambitious kick, but missed, over-corrected, and ended up face down in the middle of the ring.

Sascha lifted a shaky hand to give the OK symbol. Clearly if he was going to be in a competition he wanted to be perceived as the underdog. Throw of his opponents and all that. Yep.

The night before Fellah had decided to take things easy, aka nothing that could whack him in the face again. However, tonight he was up for the challenge of dance battles again. His last attempt hadn't been bad, but he still had a long way to improve.
As he entered the ring, he hoped the lapse of a night wouldn't make him too much rustier than he already was.
Unfortunately having not kept up with the practice, Fellah did bomb it pretty badly. He just couldn't seem to keep up with anything, except perhaps that dummy which had terrorized him a couple of times.

At this point, Zindel was mostly just relaxed and chilling, having spent the last two days at Bloodfest barely participating in events and mostly searching the crowd to see if there was anyone he knew. He knew he shouldn't have been doing so, seeing as his friends were on the down-low for a reason, but... He couldn't help it, he wanted to see them with his own eyes to know they were okay. Glancing at the list of participating trolls in the Ultimate Showdown, Zindel's eyebrow rose to see the name "Faithe Keeper" upon the board, something that actually elated him to some extent-- Etsali!! She'd managed to get a good dance rating, which meant Chiara had something planned for them all. Honestly, he'd be content in just watching her plans, considering how terrifying they usually ended up being. He lightly adjusted his scarf before deciding hey, he should participate too! If only just because. When the last troll in the current waiting list finished, Zindel rose from his side on the side of the booth and shuffled over to the main "stage," deciding to dance once more, just for fun.

Etsali was a definite factor in his thoughts he noted, as he mostly swayed along to the beat of one of his favorite songs, but ended up being totally terrible in the dancing portion. It was, though, intentional-- He was doing something completely ridiculous on purpose to maybe get a laugh out of Chiara. This was Bloodfest, and trolls were supposed to have fun, right? He'd seen most trolls leave her booth talking about how it was a fun booth, and yet she was mostly just sitting there, watching, doing nothing. Maybe he'd pull her on the dance floor, if only to tease her. Actually-- "Hey, Chiara-- You sure judge a lot for a troll who I've never seen dance before!" He motioned toward the dance floor, offering a half smile. It was hard to find him in such a good mood, and yet, there it was. He then threw a fake punch at the dummy, but it ended up turning into a real punch, and rebounded right onto his nose. Zindel groaned. Of course this'd happen. At least he'd managed to make a good finish, ending up striding to the side and wiping the redblood dripping down his nose on his already red scarf. He glanced at Chiara, then motioned to the dancing area. "C'mon, don't be a stick in the mud." He said, slightly chuckling.

Arniva screeched excitedly. SHOWDOWN? This was AWESOME. She was pumped and ready to try for the new day. She shook it left, she shook it right, and she shook it all around the stage... only managing to slip at the very end.

To be fair Lutrin liked pretty much all the music. It didn't matter what Chiara played. So when a decent song came on, Lutrin paid little mind and proceeded to do her own thing. She flailed about the stage without any sense of rhythm or style. She did have energy however, and even after a collision with the target dummy, she failed to slow down.

Fellah decided to try his hand at this dance battling business one more time. He'd come so close, and then again been so far from doing well a multitude of times. Maybe tonight would finally be the night when he nailed it, maybe...but probably not.
He didn't do terribly, but that damn dummy, that thing nailed him again, getting him square in the jaw.

She hadn't been sure about this to begin with, and now that she was trying... Well, regret.

So much regret.

First the song was awful, and she had no idea how to even dance to it. And then the dummy was impossible to fight, and she wasn't dressed for this really, and on and on and on.

Suffice to say, Hemera ended the escapade embarrassed if not humiliated. She never should have taken up Chiara's suggestion to come down. All she had done was make a fool of herself.

Couples dancing? What a joke. She was an idiot.

Arniva bust her groove thing on the floor. She managed to do really, really wekk... until she landed straight on her butt towards the end. She wasn't really HAPPY at that, but at least she managed to score well yet again. She loved dancing, and this event was just a way of letting her show it off to others outside of circus performances!

Lutrin had some pent-up aggression to get rid of. Still frustrated from the night before, she decided to take out her feelings on the training dummy. That way she would feel better and... it would not hit back. For the most part, it seemed to be going well. She felt the beat all the way from her feet to her tip of her horns. For a moment, she was back to her usually bubbly self. Then she tripped and landed on her face.

Not moving from the floor, Lutrin let out a wail, crying fresh tears all over the mat.

Chiara looked at Lutrin, taking up space on her dance floor. Well at least it wasn't on the main Showdown stage... then there might actually be problems. As the sobbing continued Chiara rolled her eyes and got up to squat next to the blathering brownblood. "Good Work Lutrin" Chiara said, only a little sarcastically, as she patted the crying troll on the head. The blueblood stood up, dusted off the lowblood germs from her hands and went to sit back down.
"Ignore the crying child! +1 point if your dancing makes it cry harder!" She called, adding a new rule to the game.

At the blueblood's words, Lutrin only cried harder. Her wails reached a sponge clot splitting volume. They continued without stop for the next couple of minutes, overpowering even the music. Chiara had a new track to add to the playlist.
