"And you're welcome at ours, if you want a change of scenery." Zeke would be all for this idea she was sure but more importantly she was all for it. It would be nice to have company come around. This was sure as sunshine to her.
"Maybe if I...?" She watched him try and fail to capture the whatever-it-was when it went toward him so the spider queen thought ahead one step. She floated as quickly as possible around the Gargoyle to the other end of the rack. Maybe, just maybe, it would get stuck in between and would have no choice but to get captured by one of them.
"I think we can box it in this way! I'll stay on this side, you stay over there, and we'll move in toward each other!"

Surely enough, unknowing that Anya had moved in the direction it was headed, the thing among the junk metal just continued to weave forwards, even picking up a little bit of speed. It looked like Anya's plan is going to work! That is, if they could catch it in the brief moment before it turned around to head back in.
(( Sorry for the late post! Both of you roll a random number between 1 - 5. You need a number 5 to catch it. Do not skip the GM's posting order. ))

"Then it's a deal! Soon as this is all over we'll set something up." Iorek smiled widely at her as he continued to move things around and wiggle his fingers at the essence. But every time he reached for it the silly thing would move away.
"Oh! Good idea! Let's see if we can outsmart it." Reks definitely liked Anya's idea and followed it to a tee. But even then the fel essence remained out of his grasp. Hopefully Anya was luckier than him!

She was happy for an instant when Iorek agreed with her plan, but the feeling quickly faded when their two hands clapped together with nothing caught between.
"Dammit!" Anya cried out when she felt rock against the smooth skin of her palm. All the same, she looked up at her partner with some kind of almost-hope: "Did you get it?"
She knew the answer, but there was always a chance, a maybe. If the likely not...what then?

After the both of them missed horribly and found each other instead, the slithering sound was heard to Iorek's left ; Anya's right, and it was the direction of the smaller corner of the junk cabinet. Their plan is working, perhaps they had really finally cornered the slithering essence? Only time will tell. If they are not careful, the essence might slip out of their grasp. And their search will be complicated once more.
There are some larger pieces of metal around this area though so they might want to clear some of them real quick to find the slippery essence.

"Almost....almost...." Iorek quickly tossed more of the junk aside as he scrambled to follow the sound. Annnnnd after grasping and struggling he lunged at long last to grab whatever it was that had caused them so much stress.

Fel Essence #60 Slithering Snake Skin
Coiled at the bottom of this jar seems to be just an old, wrinkled stretch of a snake's moulted skin. However, if you give it a tap on the glass or a shake of the jar, the seemingly dead and lifeless shedded skin will begin to move like a normal snake! Surely, this was just a skin that a snake had shedded a long time ago, something useless that had been discarded so that the snake could grow. But it was as if the skin had forgotten that it is no longer encasing around an actual snake, and continued to move like one. It doesn't need to feed on anything, but if allowed out of the jar, would still bite even if it has no teeth, nor venom for that matter. As Iorek closes his hand over the moving object that nearly escaped his grasp again, he would surprisingly realize that his fist could totally close around it. That the thing was hollow, and there was a soft crunching sound the moment Iorek tighten his fist. The thing however, was still moving when Iorek pulled his hand out of the junk scraps. The Frei just caught it's tail end, so it was trying to wrap itself around his wrist, trying to squeeze him. However futile it's attempt is because it lacks muscles. They would find it an easy task to pull the snake skin free from Iorek's hand, and the crunched tail end will revert back to it's original shape in a moment after it had been deposited into a jar.

It all happened in a flash, but what a flash it was!
One moment Iorek was lunging, the next he was pulling his arm and hand free of the junk wall in a swift motion that was but a big grey blur to Anya's eyes. When he came to a standstill said eyes then widened at the sight of the Essence.
Empty, colorless, but most certainly alive the snake skin wriggled and tried so hard to constrict the Gargoyle's massive hand but it was futile. A moment or two to stare at their quarry was alotted before Anya was scrambling for the jar they had discarded in the rush to capture the thing, removing the lid and holding out the jar.
"All that work for one little skin," she did not question this; too used to oddities among the Fel Essence collection as she was. All the same, she shook her head in wonderment. "And here I was thinking it was going to be some grandiose thing...hm."
