Malachi's plan of attack this time was climbing a tree and stalking the obnoxious slimes moving, squishing, and bouncing around below! Perched in a lower branch, without reaching distance of the ground, he swiped at a nearby slime, but missed! This was just not his day!Caelan was still all laughs and giggles as he went after all the little slimes. Even though he wanted a green one, he was an easily distracted child and went for whichever was close by! He missed them again, but that didn't stop him from continuing to try!Sepphora couldn't believe she was out here, chasing after these uber gross things! She shuddered and wiped her fingers off on someone close by, just ignoring them as they protested. Scrunching her nose, she gave the most sad attempt to catch one of these things she could... not even getting within a foot's worth of reaching distance!

 Florence was still running around, chasing after the particular slime that had caught his attention. It was a pretty clever thing, or maybe it was just lucky, or Florence was unlucky. It seemed like every time he almost had it it got away. Sometimes it was all he could do to keep up. He really wanted to catch it before someone else did! He tried using his wings to give him little bursts of speed, but unfortunately he was still learning how to fly so he couldn't do more than brief hovers. Honestly his legs were getting him about as far. He kept running, hoping with persistence he would catch the little creature!

Malachi didn't think much of his failed first attempt this time. He knew it was a pretty long shot. He stayed the course and stalked from above! He took the chance to grab at whatever was coming his way, but each one just seemed to be a miss. "Pleeeease don't let Hailey be watching this..."Caelan pouted a little bit as he missed another slime that he was close to. They looked so cute and cuddly! why wouldn't they let him hug them?! He looked at his dad, who gave an encouraging nod and went to try and catch more again!Sepphora stomped her feet and did this funny little dance as a slime brushed up against her leg. "Eeeeewww! Gross, gross, gross!" she shouted. Objecting to their rudeness, she reached down and grabbed it up with a glare. "Why you so gr--... Huh. You're actually pretty cute!" Well... for being such a slimy thing, it was actually adorable.

Florence kept running after his targeted slime, determined to catch the cutie. There were a few moments when he thought it got away, then it would notice a slight glowing and take off again. Round and round they went, on the most epic game of tag Florence had ever played. Finally too tired to keep running, Florence flopped down on the ground and spread out his legs, taking care not to squash his wings while he panted to regain his breath. A familiar little glowing showed up at the corner of his eye, and he glanced over to see the slime he'd been chasing. He reached out and gave it a poke. "Got ya," he said in tired triumph. The slime seemed to agree, and made a burbling noise before settling in Florence's lap. Florence just hoped Alrai and his parents didn't mind his new friend.

 Alyssum had opted to give chase, and had made sure nothing had gotten into her dorm room before carefully shutting the door. She didn't want to upset Kraken and Dragon any more than they already were. She'd given chase after the first slime that passed her, and it quickly became obvious that she was not going to be very good at this. She was timidly running after the thing, trying to catch up to it but not wanting to hurt it. The first one quickly outstripped her and vanished, though there were tons more to pick from. Each one she tried to catch eluded her though. Clearly this was more difficult that she initially thought it would be...

 Topaz had joined the fray along with her daughter. There was no way she'd miss something that was like an impromptu festival. It had quite a turnout and there was a great deal of laughter and enjoyment being had, though she caught the harried looks on the faces of a few adults and older Academy students. Topaz herself was having a rare old time, even if she wasn't having a whole lot of luck. Her height didn't seem to help her, since it was hard to stoop down and run fast at the same time. Quartz was probably having an easier time of it!

 Azure was relaxing and playing his guitar he was outside by a cafe on campus when he began to here some screams, playful giggles or even thumps occasionally around the campus. he saw the slime Wreak havoc around the school, he found this slightly amusing but it did put a damper on his practice, he went back to strum when he found a slimy creature crawling around at his feet dancing and attempting to hum even sing in its own way, this amused him as he reached down to grab the cute creature but it dodged him and escaped his grasp so he decided to pull a peter piper move and charm the creature with his music. he didn't feel like chasing after it. When it was distracted by his music ,he tried once more to grab it.
Azure was pleased now that he was able to catch the troublesome little mimicking slime as he smirked at it" kinda cute for a sticky ball of mischief. "Just don't you dare get me sticky. " he said as he pet its head getting a bit grossed out that slime stuck to his hand but, what could he do he got him self in to this mess. he was ok with this as he always wanted a pet.

  Joselyn heard about the hoard of new familiars that were overtaking the school. She knew, at once, that she had to try and score a familiar for herself. She managed to corner one ... it was funny, it oddly matched her.

Malachi took a chance to reach for another slime that passed under his branch, but missed again! "Oh flippin'..." he said with a sigh, resting his head on the tree branch and grumbling to himself. He needed just a moment to recoup from another failure before trying again.Caelan stopped running around and pondered what to do next. Crossing his arms across his chest and tilted his head, thinking. Then he just shrugged it off, chasing after another slime that slipped passed him.Callie wasn't comfortable with all the craziness happening at the school right now. It was causing her a lot of anxiety, so she went and found a quiet little spot to just hide away. Funny thing is a tired little slime noticed her and climbed right into her lap. She gave a gasp of shock, but when it didn't do anything but just pretty much melt into her lap, she let it stay there with her.

 Vincent chasing along after the slimes. He had managed to loose several so far, though it seemed like everywhere he looked there was another he could give chase after. He was feeling pretty good about his current quarry, since he'd managed to keep up with it longer than any of the others. He was hoping he could get close enough and throw himself at the slime to catch it that way. Vincent ran as hard and fast as he could, using all the power in his little Baphoment legs that he could summon. He was gaining....yes...yes! Now! Vincent threw himself forward......and came up empty. He watched the slime scuttle off, lamenting its escape. He'd been sure he had it! Oh well, maybe the next one.

 Rowan was feeling very irritated. Not only was his night of studying being quite rudely interrupted, but the little interlopers were absolutely unapologetic about it. They reminded him of Annoying, only they were slippery and quick rather than possessing the ability to fly. He noted the differences in shape and style as he ran about, trying to catch one of the little buggers so he could turn it over to proper authority figures. Some seemed to be faster than others, but even the slowest of them seemed to be just a bit faster than Rowan. The Nixie was quickly growing frustrated, but was determined not to give up until order had been restored!

 Percy sneered at the slimes as they bounces and hopped and gooed around the hallways, trying to avoid getting his clothing or his claws dirtied by them. Some of them were cute, he would grant them that, but some were just foul. Who in their right minds would allow such creatures in to the school? He would have rather washed his hands clean of them and be done with it, but it seemed the student body and teachers might need some assistance to be rid of them ... Percy silently wondered if Bismae might be at fault for such an explosion of familiars.

Malachi took one last grab at a slime passing under again, albeit, a lazy one... but he wasn't surprised to see that he'd missed once again. Okay, so the branch thing wasn't working. Dropping down to the ground, he leaned against the tree and debated his next move.Caelan was really just easily amused and excited to be chasing all these colorful little slimy things while his dad watched on. He missed grabbing at another one, but missed again! Oh well! With a giggle, he just went for the next thing to go passed him once again.Pawsa heard there was craziness happening at the academy, but she wasn't expecting to see what she saw. She took a grab for something close by the caught her eyes, but missed. "Damn clumsy claws!" she said with a grin.

 Quartz was chasing after all the little slimes, giggling at their funny noises and the silly faces they pulled. She hadn't gotten all that close to catching any of them, but honestly she was still enjoying the game too much to be too fussed about it. It seemed a few of them were having as much fun, playing stalking games and hopping about here and there, letting Quartz get close before wiggling off again. She'd even looked behind herself a time or two and noticed some slimes chasing her! It was all delightful fun in her mind, and she was as determined to enjoy herself as she was to catch a slime to take home!
