Laurelite did not necessarily mean to leave just before the battle picked up, but she had a very important matter to attend to. You couldn’t just corrupt someone and then leave them on the battle field—especially not when, weak as they were, some Royal could just pop up and try to steal them back.

Laurelite had carefully left with her new Senshi, taking her to a safe room in Negaspace. Someone was looking after her, and they could deal with all official business once this place was handled.

But she wasn't gone for long, and by the time she got back she wasn't particularly thrilled with the turn of events.

She had spent a fair amount of energy corrupting one senshi, but she wasn't done here, yet. A scowl on her face, she teleported back into the fray.

She did not choose who she targeted next beyond selecting the senshi closest to her when she arrived. She was fortunate enough that it was an easy target—already injured. Or maybe just not paying attention.

Either way, Laurelite was without her signature smile when she shoved her hand into the front of Makemake's chest and gripped the starseed firmly. If they were going to lose the Tea House, she was going to take more than one prize.

Without her usual delicateness, she shoved the corrupted energy into the girl's starseed with force and determination.

Makemake had been caught off guard, surprised when the General Queen and her oppressive force materialized in front of her. She gasped and stumbled back a few paces, but not nearly far enough to escape the hand reaching in to her chest.

It hurt. It hurt so much, and she could not help but cry out, even if she wasn't altogether unwelcoming of the chaos that was darkening the very core of her. Indeed, it would be a fairly easy corruption. Makemake was inexperienced, and didn't know how to fight the intrusion, even if she had been so inclined. As things were, she had already been feeling rebellion and resentment in her heart. Choas had but to simply find that open door, and swooped right in.

The hail was hitting him pretty hard by the time he had landed in the alley. He didn’t feel it much at first due to the adrenaline going through his veins, but now that it was starting to wear off just a bit? Yeah, he was feeling it. Aaru returned Erebus’ nod with a smirk of his own, he snorted a bit at the conversation going on between his fellow page and the nega that was now coming towards them. He thought he wasn’t going to speak, but then decided against it. Why not join the “conversation” as well? “You might have more people, but that still wont stop us from beating your a**…” He knew kick boxing and was betting that this little punk didn’t so fortune was in their corner for now.

So when the lieutenant started to walk over slowly like he was supposed to be some sort of frightening bad a**, heh the general would have a better time looking intimidating, only to slash out at the oar belonging to his fellow knight. Well, seems like this d**k didn’t think he was important enough to attack as well?

Okay, he could work with that.

While Prehnite struck out against Erebus, Aaru charged forward himself, candle in hand with the intent to jam it into the negas’s side. A candle may seem un-intimidating, but that was the advantage he had over most enemies, his candle could burn like hell.

Houshi went tot he edge of the building, looking down and considering. "I'm going to be honest with you," she said, "it looks like a mess - I can't really...tell much of what's going on," she confessed.

But there was something coming closer, a pinpoint of darkness, and obviously Metis was afraid - which was a fairly rational response, Houshi considered, to a man with a giant scythe.

(Houshi was, frankly, jealous of that scythe. Much better than a little paper good luck charm.)

She reached out to squeeze Metis's arm, as if that would somehow be reassuring, and shoved down her bubbling fear, and fixed the man with a completely blank expression.

"I might fear death," Houshi said, "but I don't fear a puffed up manchild who fancies himself the Reaper." Overconfidence in the face of certain death. Sure, that was the best possible idea.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Aokigahara tested the strength of the strings on his lantern, considering faintly. No, not firm enough to be used properly for strangulation - too thin, too potentially weak in the face of a struggling victim. They would snap under any real pressure. Damn.

He liked Scholomance's suggestion. The idea of getting the hell out of here felt like the best possible way to continue to survive and remain uncorrupted. That sounded like a very, very good idea -- even if he was mostly, at the moment, remaining on the side of Order out of pure, contrary spite, because frankly the Code could bite him.

He regarded the General - with her strange and powerful aura, though he could really only pick the singular one out because they were so close - with interest. So far she seemed disinterested in attacking, which was good for his continued survival.

Besides, with two Senshi nearby, his own lack of magic was more than made up for, he felt - whatever Scholomance could do, the Squire was obviously fully confident in his ability to force everyone to take a time-out if this got violent.

"I'm no more interested in a fight than Scholomance, frankly." He looked briefly amused. "I'm not unaware that with no magic and this," he held up his lantern, and never mind that he was five feet three inches tall and did not have anything even approximating the one weapon he was trained in using, "it would be a comedy routine in the making."

He wrinkled his nose. Every line of his face showed his displeasure with what he was about to say, because really, he could not believe what was about to come out of his mouth. Taiki Himura was not someone with ideals. Ideals were for people who hadn't sworn themselves into an organized crime group at age eighteen. And yet. "Unfortunately, I don't think I can run, either." An unhappy huff. "Whatever my Wonder wants of me - I'd say whatever the Code wants, but the Code's opinion matters less than nothing to me - I don't think it's running away."

Perhaps he could fulfill both demands.

"What is going on, back there?" All he could feel, all he could differentiate, was great, dark, Chaotic power.

His answer came when the source of it returned, crashing down, and he jerked his head automatically, and elbowed Scholomance - because this was clearly what both of them wanted to see. A woman - tiny, but obviously powerful - scooped up a Senshi and shoved a hand in her chest.

And the Senshi changed.

Aokigahara inhaled.

"Oh." Oh, that was a pure display of absolute, raw power. This woman - this General-Queen, he suspected - was obviously a force to be reckoned with, and she could scoop up a bright light and darken it without hesitation. "Is that what's going on, here."

He had felt the General Queen vanish along with the signature of a corrupted senshi, so it seemed Laurelite had taken the newest member of chaos somewhere safe - good. He didn't want them hurt, even though they'd already just had their life turned up side down in so many ways.

Standing there, waiting for his opponents next move he was startled when he felt her return. The oppressive, but comforting, darkness that was Laurelite's aura caught him by surprise. He hadn't thought she'd be returning and then he felt it. Someone else?! She was corrupting another person...but why?

He wouldn't complain, or even let anyone know how this bothered him, but for what purpose? Was she that upset by the sudden, and bad, turn of events as the tea house was most certainly done for at this point? Perhaps that was the case and she was venting by corrupting yet another senshi?

After a moment of internal anger, and sadness over another loss for someone, he managed to smile and laugh even. "It looks like we have another member joining our ranks today."

Page Erebus of Saturn

When the Negaverse Lt. attacked with his trowel, Erebus was going to move to block him but saw that the attack was aimed at his oar before he shifted, so he braced his weapon for impact. When the trowel hit, the Page held fast though not with out a bit of straining on his part until he put his other hand on the other end of his oar to help keep it balanced. "You're going to have to do better then that if you want to win."

He could see Aaru moving out of the corner of his eye and tried to keep the chaos agent's attention so he could get in closer. "I think you need to recount the odds. More of our people keep showing up and soon enough your side will get the boot." Not that he was counting the others in either side so it was entirely possible he was wrong.

[Nega] Lt. Prehnite

Prehnites trowel grazes off the oar, and he grins. "Our General Queens boots are a bit sharper than your orders I'm afraid." Prehnite really was having fun with this. It had been so long since he'd had any sort of fight! He'd forgotten in the thrill of it all, to take things seriously.

His brief moment of joy snuffed out, noticing too late the candle page was speaking up, and moving to attack "s**t!" Prehnite flinched and felt the burn of it as the candle dug into his side. More importantly, as the flame of it began to singe right through his outer jacket.

Hissing as he instinctively struck out at the Candle Page's arm. Pissed that he'd been so easily distracted by the Oar Weilding page talking.

Prehnite, at this moment, was experiencing karma; or was it dogma? He was sure there was a word for it. When one underestimated an opponent simply because said opponent looked weaker, or down right stupid, in the candle wielding pages case.

He'd overlooked the very simple and obvious fact, that fire was hot, fire burned. That he, with a close ranged weapon, was dealing with two other people whom, he was just now realizing also had close range weapons. Why the hell, did he put himself at such a disadvantage!?

[SOMEONE FIGHT MEH.]

Mjolnir was just there to watch, golden eyes looking on at the chaos that was spreading like a virus as more and more powered beings entered the arena. Officers and Senshi alike where showing of their skills and powers in a display that really was impressive, still it left a bad taste in her mouth, she had not seen a free for all like this in a while.

With no interest in taking up arms to support either side, and from what she could tell no other Dark Mirror Senshi in sight? She just remained still, absorbing all the information she could. One day she could very well be in a battle with any she saw here today, and this gave her the perfect opportunity to gain the upper hand in that time ever came.

She was a basic Dark Mirror Senshi, and as such nobody was paying her much attention, especially when all she was doing was taking on the sight from a nearby rooftop. Though, her plans to remain soon changed when she caught sight of come particular senshi, one that was noticeably younger than most of the others here, radiating with enthusiasm.

Mjolnir looked on at her with pursed lips, arguing with herself. The little one seemed to be keeping out the way for now, but the variables of unpredictable youth and crossfire damage made it very hard for the brunette to look anywhere else. Even towards an old friend who's powered signature had peeked her interest in the first place.

Mjolnir was not a nice person, but she was the Auntie to a very young little girl, and something just did not sit right with her about someone so young being in a place like this. The girl was on her own and after a few more moments of internal arguing she decided to take action, by the looks of it nobody else was.

She stood up from her perch and made her way down, though she was entering the battlefield she tried to remain somewhat inconspicuous if that was at all possible. Probably not but. She took her place at the side of the chibi senshi and folded her arms. Mjolnir was in her twenties, and had the face of a stern school teacher. "Hey, you are standing too close, they still might hit you from here. So go hide behind something okay?"

Her voice was pretty close to a headmistresses too.

The feeling of an order signature being snuffed out and a new dark aura blossoming grabbed Delphi's attention. She had never seen a corruption but she knew what they were and imagined that to be just what she was feeling. Someone was being corrupted, that wasn't good.

Making her way down the back alleyway she took note of those around her while she hoped to avoid any confrontation. In case she didn't the squire had a good strong hold on her scepter, prepared to smack and beat someone if need be.

The boots she wore hit the ground with purpose as she almost seemed to march back there. She was intent upon seeing what was going on, to see what a corruption looked like if it was still in the process. She was interested in seeing what she had never seen before, a corruption. She had no idea what it looked like and hadn't really heard much on it, aside from the bare bones basics. What would it look like?

(Feel free to interact with Delphi.)

Page Erebus of Saturn

"Oh I'm sure we can find a way to dull her boots then!" Erebus fired back and braces himself in case the Lt. with the trowel attacked again. Instead of himself being attacked though, he saw that Aaru's attack made it passed the Negaverse agents defenses and got a very small smirk. It wasn't that someone got hurt that he was smirking at, more that he was pleased his on the fly plan of distraction had worked.

When he saw that the Lt. was counter attacking Aaru, Erebus quickly moved to attempt to block the trowel with his oar again, though he was pretty sure he wouldn't be fast enough to actually block the attack he could at least try.

[Nega] Lt. Prehnite

Prehnite very dearly wanted to curse in that moment. Really he wanted to curse himself for being so reckless. Idiotically reckless. He would chalk it up as a learning experience, and attempt to avoid this particular mistake in the future.

Prehnite had meant to go through completely with his attack on the Candle Page; however, he flinched slightly when he caught sight of the Oar Pages movement. He was paying a bit more attention this time.

Prehnite hadn't realized though, in the heat of the moment, that the Oar Page of Saturn had merely meant to block him. He'd feared an attack, and reacted. The blow aimed towards the Candle pages arm, merely glancing. As he jerked away from the pair of pages and immediately began backing deeper into the alley.

He needed ******** it!

Prehnite wasn't as willing to beg for help as he thought he would be, wasn't ready to be 'that' damsel in distress and call out for aid.

So he did the next best thing. He threw his trowel at the nearest pages face; uncaring of whether it hit or not. Then he turned tail, and ran.

"It doesn't matter if I lost tonight! 'We' still won! You two ******** owe me a rematch and a jacket!" He called out to the pair as he took off back the way he'd come from the alley. Praying the trowel would be distracting enough to buy him a clean getaway.

It looked..No..Felt..because he couldn't get a clear view of the street from where he was, surely not any sort of decent view of the corruption that was taking place, but he could feel it. It was impossible to miss the General Queens presence in all of this, the gravity and weight of her power as she wielded it so effortlessly...

As little as he understood about the purpose of the tea house itself. He would have had to have been the dumbest creature to walk the planet, to miss the fact that she wasn't going to loose this particular establishment, without taking something..someone...with her.

Good for her.

[Senshi] Sailor Cassiopeia // In front of the Tea House

Through the roar of her pulse in her ears and the calamity of the fight around them, Cassiopeia heard a woman's voice. Quarrelsome breath. It was a voice she couldn't place, and for all intents and purposes, it went through one ear and out the other. After all, she had more pressing matters with the dark senshi in front of her that she was tag-teaming with the girl on her side.

A grin of triumph lit her face when she saw the other girl hit the guy, knocking him off balance it looked like. Hopefully an easier target for her. But before her fist could impact, something else impacted her. She hadn't been paying attention. Why would she? The senshi in purple and white didn't feel like these other two! Not connecting the dots, she was startled by suddenly finding herself up against two bodies, unable to stop her momentum in time to get the hell out of the way. As the girl's (Myrrha) foot hit her shin, Cassiopeia yelped, lashing out towards her original target with a flailing fist that very clearly did not hit its mark.

Balance lost, she stumbled backwards before her feet slipped out from under her, hitting the ground hard on her bum and teeth rattling in her head at the rough jostling, her pulse was thundering as wide amber eyes stared up at her new found attacker. "W-why--?" Her stuttering was cut short by a scream as she felt someone's (Ochre) hand on her leg, quickly followed by a rather... exhausting sensation that made her blood run cold.

Three against one? How'd she manage to get herself into this?

"S-sh--..." Between the sensation of her energy being siphoned out of her body, and her head spinning from the shock of impacting the ground, it took a second for her to get her vocals to work right. Precious time, a fact that made her shiver as she forced the wind through her throat. "S-Shimmering Awe!" Her hands lifted, hoisting up around the foot-long orb of shifting form and lights. The orb continued to rise up on its own, and Cassiopeia sent up silent prayers it'd be enough to get her--and the other girl, if she'd stop taking swings at her!--out of there.

Magic

Calling the name of her attack, Cassiopeia focuses her magic between her hands. An orb 12 inches in diameter forms, floating in the air between her hands before rising into the air about two feet in the air above her, 7 feet into the air from the ground. The orb's contents is constantly shifting, looking one moment like a fairy light hovering in the air, to a galaxy, to mystifying alien worlds. Any Chaos agents standing in a range of 12 feet diameter who view the orb would find themselves transfixed by the sights. Though they would be able to look back and focus on the fight at hand, Chaos agents might keep finding their attention wavering back to the orb and its mystical sights. The orb itself only remains for 30 seconds before it vanishes, and Cassiopeia must recharge her magic for 60 seconds before she can use her magic again. She can only use it three times per day.

[S. Senshi] Sailor Metis // Rooftop beside the Tea House's

One of the rules of the Asteroids, was not to kill. It was made after Iris had decapitated that lieutenant trying to kill Metis. Metis herself had never been in a situation where she was... in a position to take a life. Nor was she especially keen to... well, do it. Cowardice, really, considering she had a sick feeling in her stomach she'd not cry over hearing more Negaverse agents had fallen.

An example of such a being, a nightmare in physical form, skidding to a stop to avoid running into the General. Eyes wide, unfocused, she tried to back up, tried to shove Hoshi back with her. Metis had rather hoped the mess would stay down amongst the streets while they could have gotten a scope of the place... or anything to keep the Page out of the path of a General. It was bad enough there was another senshi (Mu Arae) now there with them. While once upon a time she'd have felt encouraged by numbers... two low leveled and a mid-level versus a high level was not ideal. Particularly when he carried a bladed weapon she'd rather not make contact with.

Though she couldn't see his grin, she could very much hear it, a twinge of rage that bristled through her and stiffened her spine. "What a pleasant surprise to find you here, Labyrinthine," she stated acidly, letting the bite of every passive aggressive, honey-coated-venom, and socialite scathing insult tactic she'd ever learned growing up in Crystal and new money leech into her voice. His questions concerning Iris made her smile, a brittle thing. "Iris said all that was needed to, concerning the likes of you."

His question about if she'd seen the Princess lately, however, was untouched. Largely because the answer was negative.

Metis' eyes narrowed, smile fading away as cold rage flickered through her system. The threat of death wasn't an empty one when dealing with his ilk, she was willing to bet, a concept that infuriated her. Though a part of her wanted to commend Hoshi for her blasé response to Labyrinthine, now was not the time to bait the man with the blade. "What I fear is of no concern here. I do not fear what has yet to be written." Lifting a hand to her tiara quickly, she called out, "Mind's Eye Vision!"

Quickly as she could, she flung an energy orb at the General, hoping it would make contact and give the Page and lower ranked senshi the time to run. "Get out of here," she hissed to Hoshi and the other senshi (Mu Arae).

Once the orb vanishes into the target, they would find themselves bombarded with unintelligible, jumbled, and all around random visions of... the future? The visions in their head would come in such a rapid succession that focusing on the present could be quite difficult, though not necessarily impossible. The visions last for 10 seconds.

It felt like a fog was lifting from her mind. Myrrha's gaze took in the glowing orb that was now floating above before she realized that the senshi that she had kicked was down on the ground and most definitely not alright in a manner of speaking. Her gaze narrowed at Ceraskia and Ochre before she went to reach down and extend a hand to the senshi that she had attacked. She was not sure what had made her turn on her ally but she knew of a way to right the odds, at least in this moment. Once Cassiopeia was on her first Myrrha took one more glance around her before focusing on her power. Her words came out rather powerful as she directed her gaze to land directly on Ochre. This one would be the one to suffer.

Almost keen on using her attack Myrrha spoke in a clear and precise manner. "It's been fun but we have to leave now. Myrrha's Revolting Odor!"

With the spell cast she pointed in Ochre's direction and watched for the reaction before realizing that she should really be using the time to flee. "I don't know your name and I'm sorry for kicking you but we should leave." Myrrha grabbed Cassiopeia's arm and helped the other down the street.

Myrrha's Revolting Odor
Myrrha concentrates her energy and calls out her attack. She points to a single enemy and sends the energy in their direction. If the energy hits the target they will find that their sense of smell has been dramatically increased. They could be overwhelmed by scents found around them, be it good or bad. This attack duration would last 20 seconds. Generally the target has to be within a six-foot radius to Myrrha when she calls her attack. Any target outside this radius will either escape the attack entirely or only be partially affected.

It should have been expected with what was going on, a battle was something that created a lot of noise, and for some it might have been for others maybe not. There was no way around this as the sounds of sirens filled the night air as cop cars, called by several people living in apartments above the surrounding shops, came racing toward the tea shop and the battle going on. While the cops certainly had no idea just what was going on they had gotten the reports of terrorists fighting along with reports with a gang fight, so they weren’t sure just what they were headed toward, they were planning to break it up and bring peace the area anyway.

It would seem that perhaps, for just tonight, the Negaverse had won as they had claimed two from the light as their own. It was obvious that this battle would have to draw to a close, or at least move from this area, as the cops would be there soon as the sounds of the sirens drew rapidly closer. How long till they arrived? Minutes perhaps, depending on how many lights they blew thru and how many cars they had to avoid hitting as they did so.

(Time for people to make their exits. You can continue little battles in separate rp’s. Or even regulars with people. But the cops will be arriving soon so unless you want to get arrested you might wanna scoot.)

It was the sirens which drew the squire's attention and Delphi froze and looked around. With all of this going on the cops could get brought into the middle of it...or people could actually get caught. She really hoped this didn't turn into a clash of cops vs. those with power - it would end badly.

Speaking up she raised her voice almost as loud as it could go. "Cops are coming!" As if that was a big threat, although for some it might be. Standing in the back alley she hoped she'd get some peoples attention and they'd flee, take to elsewhere. It wasn't something which should continue here, the fighting, as it would surely drag the cops into things and risk their lives.

She didn't want to risk being caught, or have to fight to get away, so the knight of Polaris did turn and leave, she had only caught sight of the General Queen when she'd heard the sirens. She would find out, possibly, at a later date what had happened tonight. For now though - home. She was not sticking around and risking a confrontation with a cop, or several cops.
