Vallen was decidedly looking more green then dark grey. He had been all glamor and glory until he saw that tumbled ruin. "Nahp, I'm not going in, nope nope nope." He shook his head and waved a hand. He was severely creeped out by the whole mess and was wondering what had come over his normally quiet brother, his cheer had scared Vallen just as much as the ghosts did. Was he going to be a necromancer or something? His sweet twin. Vallen felt rather ill at this moment and put a hand over his mouth.

Seze crinkled her face at Val, "Some brave warrior you are." She said and releasing Kres passed Vallen to go support Vuka, maybe he had found something he could be really passionate about? Maybe Dad wouldn't worry so much now? Or herself. Seze laid a gentle hand on Vuka's arm. I'll go with you little bro, lets show those ghosties what we are made of!" She grinned and looked back imploringly at her own twin.

A sigh as he followed his siblings to the ground, and that was where he let Vepkhia down. She was curious, which wasn't a bad thing but like Vally, Kres was somewhat hesitant. "Lets go check it out, we've come this far. Vally, please stick with us, Vepkhia won't let anything happen to you." He said with a wink at his younger brother. "This was our goal all along, wasn't it? To see if this place actually exists. Lets check it out. I'd suppose that where Vuka and Vep want to see might be where Mom found her bow, it's worth checking it out." Kres threw an arm around Val and drug him along with them as they made their way over.

Vep bounced over to Vuka and grabbed his hand happily as she skipped towards the structure. "I bet this was so pretty when it was new. I wonder what it was all like! Was it shifters that lived here? How old is it I wonder!" She led her family over to the little structure and noticed moons carved into the stone, still visible. It caused her to look more closely at the stone and noticed there were words inscribed on them. It appeared as if the roof might of at one time had a hole in the middle to allow light in, or moonlight?
"Look! There's writing! It looks like the other wall was supposed to have it on it too but its gone...I'm going to read it!" Vep let go of Vuka's hand and walked over to the wall on the right and stood on her tip toes to try and read the very top.
"May the Sun bring you new energy by day, May the Moon softly restore you by night. May the Rain wash away your worries, May the Breeze blow new strength into your being."
She stopped then, as the rest was either illegible or seemed like it might have been on the wall. "Is it a prayer?" Vep turned back and looked at her siblings, her head slightly cocked. It was pretty, but what did it mean?

Its actually taken from an apache blessing. I saw it on a plaque at my Nana's and instantly thought of tendaji. Sun=Oba, Moon=Shifters, Rain=Water/Ice, Breeze=Wind. I had thought of trying to add to it but found myself without the creativity lol.

Vuka smiled and kept pace with Vepkhia as she moved toward the structure. He looked it over for any obvious structural dangers before he let her hand go. Even then he followed her and read the saying silently as she read it aloud. Huh.
"It certainly sounds like one," he agreed, "or a proverb, but not one I've ever heard before." He looked back to Seze. Had she ever seen anything like it before? It was a shame there wasn't an array of objects for them here to solve all of their questions about their futures. Oh well. If this really was the place, it was important just because they now shared something with their mother.

Meanwhile Vallen was panicing and digging his heels in trying to resist the urge to gnaw his older brother's unrelenting grip off his precious non- ghosted self. A high whine had started in his throat and then Vep read the poem and he perked up. "Well obviously..it didnt' work for the ghosts?" He was ready to jump run hiss and spit. That was until his sister cuffed him on the head and pointed at Vep as if to say, shes not scared stupid!
"Ow." Vall grumbled, sulking.

Sezarra was impressed with the terror that ghostly beings had seemed to instill in her young hot headed brother. She shook her head and peered at the inscription, squinting. "No I have not seen the like before." Then again she hadn't been very far. It was going to be time to change that soon though. "At least its a peaceful saying, which might mean the ghosts are not evil. Maybe this was an old alk settlement, or some weird shifters like us that sleep on the ground..or a tomb?"

"I don't remember any of this in Mom's story. It makes me wonder if we found the right place or not which makes me wonder if there are more places like this, and what exactly this was. Was it a temple of some sorts?" He replayed the words on the wall in his head over and over. They had more meaning, he felt, than just being some poem. Sun, Moon, Rain, Breeze, could the refer to the different races? Kres tried to commit the poem to memory to ask one of the elders, perhaps one of them knew the rest of it. "We should at least take pride in the fact that we found something I think. I wonder what Mom will think of this." Kres patted his brother's back and rustled his hair. "Shall we head back now? It should probably be near dinner time now." Food, he knew they were normally all game for food.

Things couldn't have gone better. But Kres was right, this wasn't in Mom's story. But now that meant it was their own story right! "It just means we have a story like Momma's but all our own." She said happily. Vep skipped her way back over to Vuka and grabbed his hand again and pulled him along behind her to Vally and grabbed his hand in her other one. "See there's nothing to be afraid of. They just wanted us to see something. Maybe we should come back by ourselves like Momma was alone and see if they leave us anything!" Mom was by herself when she found her bow, maybe they just had to be by themselves. "Food?" She perked up. "Lets go tell Mommy!" A large smile was on her face, their mission was a success, and Vep would tell this story to everyone who would listen.

Vuka seemed a bit entranced for a moment, but Vep's little hand brought him out of it. He smiled down to her and nodded.
"She'll be excited." Well, probably partially horrified, but she wouldn't want to make Vep feel bad. He turned to Vallen and smirked. "Still frightened?" he asked, "Did a ghost get too close to you, brother?"

Food! Now it was his turn to cheer. Food would make all the things better, he wasn't going to come here alone though, never happen. It was time to herd them all back to where it was safe and ghost free so far as he knew. "I, just don't like them Vuka, it's something intangible that I can't control and thus my fear is nearly uncontrolled." His little sister's hand was comforting though, maybe he would sleep next to her that night and have her ward off all the evil spirits.

That poor house wasn't going to know what hit it with a pile of triumphant shifter children all returning at once. She couldn't wait to tell their parents. This was such a fun thing to have done with all of them together. It might not always be like this, with them all growing up.
