 As it seemed everyone as going to shuffle out, Myles slipped behind Zahneel and then Sara and her Grimm boyfriend? Friend? He wasn't entirely sure, they seemed really close, but hadn't they just met? He wasn't sure how people got together up here, so maybe he was misreading things. He slide further along the way and made his way over to Athena. It would have been easier to just cut across the room, but that would mean walking directly between the Headmistress and her line of sight on the Nixie Elders and then brushing past Ryuuichi and...
He just wanted to avoid all that. He reached out and gently touched Athena's hand and tried to pull her into his arms. This had to be the best and possibly worst day ever for her. Although probably worst...but getting her mom back had to be a good thing right? He hoped so at least...

 He was more than slightly hampered by the cuffs, but he managed to get the chair closer and reached out and took her hand. "It is." he said and gently caressed the back of her hand with a thumb. There were so many things they needed to say right now, but it wasn't the time. There was a very upset Demon in the chair just across the room, a lot of confusion and anger, and Kestrel and Mink to round up and figure out what they were going to do.
"For now though I believe the first order of business is to get me out of these cuffs. I believe we have letters to write, a child to keep from going to jail, and negotiations to enter into not only at home, but in the Capital with the Sovereign. I believe there is some fool document we need to sign and by the gods I'm not doing it without reading it at least twice and then handing it off to my staff to be read at least twice more. Then there is the small matter of talking renovations to this school to make it more habitable for Nixie." he glanced over at the headmistress. "Any objections thus far? Everyone on the same page? Good, because I'm not done yet..." and he continued on with plans, arrangements, and other tasks that needed doing.
There would be time, later, eventually. Too many things right now that took precedence over his own personal life, such was the life of an elder.

The Conclusion...
After several weeks of discussions between many ambassadors and leaders, a solution was finally reached. The Nixie would end their self-imposed isolation and join the rest of the world and sign the Sovereign’s Vow which would mandate peace between them and the other races who had also signed.
After the events of the initial arrival, the Nixie Elder Council elected new ambassadors to handle communications with the outside world, as well as directly with Asphodel Gardens Academy. True to her word, Ava opened the Academy’s doors to all Nixie (and Grimm) students who wished to attend. Renovations were made to the campus, adding new swimming pools and misting stations for their new students.
Additionally, an official apology was issued to the Academy on behalf of the Nixie, for the unfortunate happenings that went on. In the future, they and other officials would be more discerning in approving their paperwork.
As for the Grimm, they also signed the Sovereign’s Vow, and agreed to let any of their young attend the Academy should they so choose. In return, they also opened their doors to any Grimm who might want to visit – or even stay permanently with the tribe. Discussions about allowing tribal teachers to join the Academy are still in session.
