Not too far from the pair of girls and their dolls a small black hole, no larger than a dinner plate, opens in the air. Out of the hole in reality comes a pair of gloved hands that grasp onto the edges of the small hole. A horrid ear-piercing screech rings out as the hands pull the edges of small hole in reality, tearing it into a large jagged gash. It is large enough for Edward to come tumbling out of as he is caught off guard by how quickly the small hole expanded, which he does. Edward lands from his tumble face first and directly in what was at some point a massive pool of blood, but is now just a dark red stain on the ground. His ears still ringing from the sound of reality being torn apart, he grabs hold of the nearby railing that almost crumples into nothing but dust as he pulls himself up from the ground and yells out "Yes! I am finally free of that accursed realm." into the air. The ringing of his ears having stopped, Edward starts scanning the area and thinks "But jeez, this place isn't much better than Hueco Mundo with how worn down it is. Oh gods are these rotting corpses just laying around? Where the hell have I ended up?" He quickly spots the pair of girls and the large man on his way up the stairs. He addresses everyone with "Oh my apologies for just barging in unannounced. I am Sir Edward Filo Schnitt, but you may refer to me as just Edward or even just Ed if Edward is too long for you." before taking a small gentlemanly bow.

The massive castle was really in disrepair due to age and what seemed to be a sight of battle. It would seem that none of the others seemed to care of its conditions, but with the disappearance of this Dio figure it was clear that it would belong to the young miss, Rosa. Speaking of, the massive male figure silently watched over the young girl as she interacted with the other Bounto in the castle. It was clear she had a shining personality, and that the two remaining parties seemed harmless at best due to their low power. Still the guardian remained vigilant as ever of his young charge. That is when the castle quaked from the blast that rocked a local city. It was silent afterwards as he listened for the creaking and cracking of the old stone, yet despite its condition the building stood strong. His eyes locked to Rosa's and in an instant they were connected as one. 'It seems something interesting is happening. It maybe dangerous, do you wish to go?' Private communication between the two, it kept the large figure standing silently awaiting the small girl's call on the situation at hand. Though, tending to the castle, readying it for its new master was still priority.
XXXThe castle had a few more visitors over time. It made her happy and excited even though socialization was not her strongest skill. However she was not afraid. Artorius was always nearby even if others did not see him, or even if he was far away. A male of a race she did not recognize was gone just as fast as he arrived. However at least he apologized on his way out the door. Her attention was on the other girl that she believed was around her age. Considering the age ranges of their race, it was not surprising. "Welcome Mizu. My name is Rosa. It's nice to meet you." It was then that a tear in reality appeared. At first it sent her on edge, but after watching him it seemed all was well. He mentioned something about being free from somewhere, and then introduced himself. "Hello Edward." she replied to his greeting sweetly. It was then that she too felt the quake from the blast. Afterwards she went silent, she couldn't even hear herself breath. It was then that she heard the familiar voice in her head. Artorius spoke of things she already knew, and of course it was clear that the investigation could be dangerous. "Let's move Artorius. We have a home to protect." she would reply telepathically. The cleaning would have to wait, after all it seemed that more important issues had risen. "It seems I have something to take care of. I'll be back soon." she would give her goodbyes before leaving the castle.
By the time Edward came up from his bow one of the girls was on her way out the door and the man and other girl were nowhere to be seen "Oh well then I'll see you around miss." he says to the leaving girl, unsure if the people here were figments of his imagination or not when he considers how quickly they disappeared when he tried to interact with them. "... am I alone now? Well other than Fenrir. I still have him. Zeige Dich Fenrir." he says to himself pulling out Fenrir's book from his jacket and summons Fenrir out from it. He squats down to pet Fenrir and asks him "So Fenrir you want to help me clean up all these corpses? This place seems like a good place to make our home now that we are back on earth, so we may as well clean it up a bit." as he proceeds with the petting. Fenrir responds with an affirmative bark, and then the pair spend the next however long it takes them to drag out all the corpses strewn about the entire castle. the corpses all end up in a pile outside the castle hidden out of sight and covered in anything that looked broken beyond repair and even slightly flammable. Using a lighter he found on one of the corpses and some other miscellaneous fire starting supplies he found lying around the castle, Edward sets the pile ablaze. "Ok Fenrir let's get out of here before the smell of burning corpses gets stuck in our noses. I'm getting hungry, so what do you say to us going to snack on some human souls? Wouldn't it be nice to snack on some not hollow souls for the first time in however long it's been? I bet they'll taste real good compared to all those pitiful beast's souls." he says before proceeding to walk away from the castle in whatever direction tickles his fancy with Fenrir following right behind him.

Safely making it back to Castle Redbrook Edward quickly rushes to find a good spot to re-summon Fenrir and treat his wounds. He finds an old bed to have him rest in while he recovers. Fenrir's wounds are major and will take a while to fully heal, so once he makes sure Fenrir is stable, Edward explores the castle, taking stock of what supplies the castle has. While doing this he finds an old tome and beings to read it. The dusty old tome details the ritual for creating the profane bedding of the Coffin's Ashes technique. After finishing the first few pages of the book, Edward starts gathering the necessary materials for the ritual and finds them in the basement of the castle alongside a number of coffins to be used as the profane bedding. Edward thinks "If I ever meet the previous inhabitants of this castle, I'll have to thank them. Considering how many corpses there were tho, I doubt any of them survived." as he unpacks and the ashes to use for the ritual.

Koji had smelled the hollow all day. He often smelled hollow, these days. More often than not, there was some beast stinking up the town, and only Koji had to deal with the smell. He did his best to ignored it. The Mod Souls would handle it, or the quincies. He didnβt need to handle every hollow. He was busy, after all, with exams coming up, rent due, a job to keep up with, and homework. Kojima Kazamaki was content to just spend his day catching up on chores.
Hadar had other plans.
The hollow began to speak around noon, itβs voice shaking the world, like it was the onbly thing that existed. Kojima wanted to hold his ears to block out the din but he knew that it would do no good. The voice was coming from inside of his head.
βOh come on, Kojimaβ¦ You know how this worksβ¦ Iβm hungry. Your job is to feed me. You want hollows dead. My job is to kill and eat them. Why are we still here..?β[I/]
After a few painful seconds, the volume of the voice quieted down to a whisper.
βCome on, Kojiβ¦ Thereβs a hollow that needs to dieβ¦ This is our wheelhouseβ¦β
The voice was almost pleading. Kojima knew, however, that it would not ask for long. Hadar was always hungry, and he was nearly a slave to the hollowβs hunger. The hunger that had claimed his parents. Eventually he would have to do what Hadar wanted. On his terms or on the hollows.
It was late afternoon when Kojima finally gave in to his hollowβs hunger and made his way to the source of the stench, a long-abandoned castle that stood on the edge of town, spared from the worst of the damage that had destroyed most his was a place the bount race was known to congregate, Kojima knew. He had no particular ill-will towards the Bounts. They werenβt hollows, even if they did eat souls too. Kojima wasnβt some white Knight. His grudge was with the hollow kind, and he could care less for what the Bounts did.
He felt some trepidation as he approached the castle. It was known to be pretty haunted, whether that was true or just a side-effect of being inhabited by more-or-less vampires. As he approached the gates, the stench of death was nearly overwhelming. It was no wonder the other teens didnβt want to come here.
The stench of hollow was worse though, so strong that Kojima couldnβt pinpoint it. He entered the front gate of the Castle, looking around at the dust-covered interior. The blood trail was apparent but Kojima didnβt know what it was that was bleeding. He was on his guard.
After finishing the ritual for Coffin's Ashes Edward senses the Reiatsu of someone approaching the castle. Judging from how the reiatsu signature felt they were most likely a human with some hollow corruption or a hollow trying to pass itself off as a human, but Edward discounts that possibility as something a hollow likely wouldn't have reason to do. He makes his way back upstairs from the basement level of the castle and sees an eccentrically dressed teenage boy following a trail of blood that wasn't in this front room before he went down to the basement. The blood was dark and reeked of hollow. it seemed that he had a wounded vermin to deal with as well as the unwelcome guest. Fenrir was still injured and the last thing Edward wanted right now was another fight in which Fenrir might get even more injured, so he addresses said unwelcome guest by saying "Hay kid didn't anybody ever tell you this castle is dangerous place for you humans. Bounts like me tend to find your kind as tasty snacks. I can handle whatever hollow vermin you chased into my castle, so I recommend you get out of here before I get hungry again and I start seeing every other soul as just more food for me." in an attempt to intimidate him into just leaving, but Edward had a strong feeling that the boy would not so easily be convinced to leave.

It needs to be killed. Thereβs another hollow inside of me that wishes to feed on the first hollow. Itβs a complicated set up. I would rather be somewhere else, but I canβt do that until I kill and eat this hollow.β
Kojima had bags under his eyes. He hadnβt slept for days. The whispers often kept him awake, and they had been incessant lately. He hadnβt killed a hollow in at least a week. In a way, he was kind of relieved he would be killing one today. At least it would shut Hadar up.
βMy name is Koji. I donβt mean any harm to you or yours, just to this stinking ******** hollow that seems to want to hang out here. I have a mouth to feed, ya know?β
Koji was no stranger to this song and dance. So-called βbad-guyβ groups always played tough if you went onto their turf, even if it was to take care of a hollow infestation. He had been threatened before, and had come out the other side unscathed. He didnβt think this Bount really wanted to eat him, not yet anyway. He seemed to be recovering from a recent fight. Kojima sensed its doll a short distance away.
As Edward notices the exhaustion on the kid's face as he responds not at all intimidated. He had introduced himself as Koji and offered to heal Fenrir, who Edward somehow hadn't even noticed had also come out from the room where he was resting to investigate the intruder until Koji pointed him out. Edward sighs as he thinks "Fenrir, you should still be resting. Why didn't you just stay in the bed I left you in?" then says "Fine. I would have just saved the little vermin for a later snack, but if you want to trade healing services for it's soul to munch on, I would accept the offer, but I will warn you tho, if you try anything I suspect is malicious, I will make you regret it before I rip your soul from your body and have it as a nice little snack." as the darkness in his eyes grows darker as his tone of voice changes becoming less gentlemanly and more vicious whilst he threatens Koji.

If the threats were getting through to Kojima, it didnβt show on his face. Fear had been burned out of him by righteous anger. There was a living hollow here at the castle. That was a problem. Approached the injured dog, pulling a stack of scrolls from a satchel at his side. He unravelled a few of them, laying them over the dogβs wounds like bandages. Kojima closed his eyes, and began to whisper silently, his lips moving ever so slightly. The papers began to glow black, as if they were sucking the light out of this place. The brilliant whites that were often associated with healing magic were nowhere to be seen. This healing was Hadarβs doing.
After a few seconds of this, the papers began to smolder, whisps of smoke lucking up, framing Kojimaβs determined face. βThis will take a few seconds. Keep an eye out for our friend.β
Kojima didnβt often work with other beings. Hadar was often cruel and unpredictable, caring little for the well being of others. He didnβt like to take on the risk of companions, because they often became targets for Hadar. He hoped this wouldnβt be true here.
The dollβs wounds were extensive, and wound need major attention. Kojima hoped they had enough time before the hollow showed itself.
XXXXX After not so much as flinching at Edward's threat, Koji proceeds to place some scrolls on Fenrir like they were bandages, and they begin to suck the light out of the room and "glow" with dark energy. Seeing Fenrir giving no sign this is doing anything other than healing him, Edward is filled with a sense of relief as the horrid feeling of guilt that his reckless actions while under the influence of his hunger had gotten Fenrir significantly injured were lessened now that Fenrir was being healed. "You defiantly are one of the strangest humans I've ever met. Most humans I meet respond to intimidation with either some variation of the "Die monster you don't belong in this world" speech, begging for there life, or fleeing in terror, but you don't so much as flinch when I threaten to have your soul for a snack. I'm starting to like your style kid, so let me properly introduce myself before we go hunt down our little "friend." I am Sir Edward Filo Schnitt, but feel free to just shorten it Ed, and the doll you are healing is my partner: Fenrir." he says to Koji, His tone of voice having returned to it's normal gentlemanly tone.

Kojima looked up from his work, making direct eye contact with the stranger.
βI understand hunger well. Hadar is always hungry, and he drives me to foolishness often with his incessant pleading. If you truly meant to hurt me, you would have attacked already. Would you have attacked already, my demeanor might be a little different.β Kojima looked back down and continued muttering his incantations.
The smoldering scrolls began to glow brighter and brighter, catching flame fully and burning away.
βTheyβre gonna be tired for a while, but their wounds should be mostly healedβ¦β Kojima braced a knee in his palm as he stood, shakily. He was so tired. Hadar had not let him sleep in days.
βDo you think theyβre fit to stand against this hollow? Iβm surprised it hasnβt come for me yetβ¦β
Kojima was prepared to face this hollow alone if he needed to, and had planned on doing just that, but perhaps this stranger would be of some use in killing this hollow. That the stranger seemed to have less control over himself and the beast within him was of little interest to Kojima. It didnβt affect him or his goals. In a way, he pitied the man. He knew more than most what he struggled with.
The stranger introduced himself as Sir Edward Filo Schnitt, though Kojima was unsure if he was actually some sort of noble. Probably not. The title was likely something that he added on himself. Kojima didnβt really care if the guy wanted to aggrandize himself in such a way.
He sensed the hollow moving closer, and heard a craching a few rooms over.
βHeβs comingβ¦ Get ready or get out, your choice.β
XXXXX After Koji asks if Fenrir is fit to stand against the hollow Edward responds with "He wants to join us in hunting it down. I couldn't stop him from trying to help even if I wanted to." Koji then tells Edward that the hollow is coming and to either get ready or get out. Edward responds with "I've killed plenty of hollow kid, and this one had the gal to bleed on my carpet. I could kill it quickly, but i'm gonna make sure it suffers for all the extra clean up work I will have to do around the castle because of it." as he reaches his hand deep into the red glowing hole in center of his chest and pulls out a thread that "glows" with darkness similarly to how the scrolls Koji used as bandages had, but different in a few ways. The most noticeable difference being it wasn't sucking the light of the room into it's darkness, it's darkness was more like shadows leaking out from the thread that rather than absorbing the light around them pushed the darkness into where light should be. He then kneels down and attaches the thread to Fenrir, simply by placing it on his back. Arcs of red electricity make their way up the thread starting from Fenrir's back. when they reach Edward the glow from the hole in his chest and the red of his eyes' irises glows brighter. After standing back up pulls out what appears to be a fairly old scroll and continues speaking "And besides I've been waiting for a good opportunity to test out the spell on this old spell scroll Fenrir found for me, and making this little vermin into a guinea pig to test this spell on for a bit seems like the most fun way to make it suffer." After he finishes that sentence another crashing noise is heard. It sounds like it is coming from closer than the last one. Edward turns to where the sound is coming from and yells "You better not be breaking anything valuable, you ******** hollow vermin! I was already gonna make you regret being born just because you bled on my carpet, and trust me when I say that I will make your suffering even worse than that if you have broken anything that would have been worth keeping for when I finish cleaning this place up." loud enough that the hollow defiantly would have heard it, assuming it has the capability of hearing of course. Whether or not the hollow was actually smart enough to understand didn't seem to matter to him at all.

There was a sound of rhytmic thumping, and then an enormous crash as the eastern wall of the room exploded in, the hollow bursting through with itβs head lowered. The hollow stood easily 12 feet tall, with two enormous legs like tree trunks, and a pair of wickedly long tusks protruding from its face. The hollow looked around with wild eyes, licking itβs lips with a black tongue. Drool dripped from its mouth and sizzled as it hit the wooden planks of the floor.
βBLOOD! BLOOD! BLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!β
The hollow lowered its head again and charged head first at Edward, aiming to spear him into the wall, screaming for blood all the while.

Kojima was ready. When the crashing stopped, he knew what would come next. He leapt out of the way as the eastern wall came crashing down, sending shards of stone spraying across the room, dust, both from the wall itself, and the shelves that had once lined it, spread out like a cloud, obscuring vision for a few moments. There was a moment of silence, and then the infernal screaming, calling for blood. Kojima did not know where the hollow was, or where it was heading, but as the dust settled, he saw it make up its mind and turn away from him, towards his new companion. Kojima silently thanked his lucky stars, not only because he was safe from the hollowβs attacks for the moment, but because it would be easier to kill if it had its back turned.
What are you waiting for? Unleash me! Slay him. Kill him. I must feed! Feed me! Hadar called out in kojimaβs head, but Koji ignored him. He did not want to let him loose yet. It was often hard to get Hadar back into his cage.
