Fathom had finished writing and spent the remainder of class discussing ecology to their two students, not opening the textbook or noting pages once. They merely were hoping that the students took good notes.

When the bell rang, Fathom sighed, somewhat relieved. They had made it through their first day teaching and no one was mad at them. They sat at their desk, leaving the board as was. They asigned no homework, wich was probably good because one student ran out as fast as he could at the first ding of the bell.

'So far today has started out great!' Fathom thought happily, forgetting any worries they felt momentarily.
