There was no disagreement from Caesar concerning any more children they may have. He would never considering giving up a baby for adoption, not while they still had all the love in the world to give, and the greatest sense of financial stability they could get.
It was a risk to use Nathan, but the payoff of breaking the curse would be worth almost anything to Lucy. She gave a small nod, excitement still in her voice as she said, "I'll make sure that his other playmates are around when he's with a Vazquez." The safest way to ensure that no favoritism forms was to keep her brother from spending extra time with any one person.

Yvette was glad they were always on the same page. "Great grandma hasn't seen her great grandbabies yet. Maybe we should see if now is a good time to visit her." the princess commented. Her grandmother wasn't fond of her since she was heir, but it wasn't right to refuse to let her see the descendants she had. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Tabby smiled at Lucy. "Good." The woman responded as they now had the plan in place. "Do you have the genealogy to review and find said descendants?"

Caesar had never liked the dowager queen, based simply on the fact that her attitude towards Yvette was never pleasant. Still, even a bitter woman like Melonie would be happy to meet these babies. Of course, he knew that they would be unable to invite her to these chambers; Melonie has fallen ill years ago, and slowly, she had grown bedridden. That meant that Yvette would have to expand more energy, but Caesar would support her every step of the way. "Alright, but let me know if you need a break." The castle had plenty of benches and sofas throughout the hallways, just in case she felt fatigued.
Helping Yvette, stand he wrapped one arm around her shoulders as he cradled Christian closely in the other. Nothing would ever come between him and the children; he felt that deep within him, a need to protect his children from any and all harm.
Finally, they had reached the deepest part of the castle's library. It had taken some time, but thankfull the place seemed to be abandoned for now. Everyone was likely out, partying away the night in celebration of the twin's births. "Yes.." she said, her voice trailing off as she moved along a row of book, her gaze wondering over each title. Eventually, she pulled out a very large and dusty book. Blowing off the layer of dirt, she set it down on a nearby table. "They'll be adding Isabel and Christian's names to this pretty soon. Looks like nobody has touched it since Nathan was born." This copy of the genealogy was under fifty years old, having been rewritten when the original papers started to fall apart. Still, it trace back the family tree to almost a millennial ago. Opening the book after admiring the golden cover, Lucy began to translate some of the footnotes and added markings on the side of the pages.

Yvette was happy to have her husband help her. He was reluctant, but he would at least adhere to formal rules of introducing the oldest member of the family to the youngest. The woman got up and held her daughter. "Okay lets go." She said with a sigh. She really was tired, but she also wanted to get it done and over with. The two of them with their little ones walked to her grandmother's room without break and soon were knocking on their door. ~~~~~~~~~ Tabby smiled and looked at the book before carefully turning the pages. She was glad that Lucy was there to help translate. She had studied Spanish until Seth left her and in her frustration, and need to learn runes, quit Spanish learning. Though some remained it wasn't enough to translate every word. She kept changing the pages until she found the right family she was looking for.

Eventually, they reached Melonie's room. Yvette was clearly tired, but Caesar remained quiet, only tightening the arm around her a little more so that she knew he would stick close. He watched as the older woman waved off her personal doctor and sat up, her expression stern. Many still believed Melonie Solindo to be beautiful, but anyone who knew her could see just how deep her sickness had taken a hold of her. Her skin was flushed, and when she spoke, it was clear that it took more effort than she would ever admit. But she knew what was happening. She had seen it happen to her husband...that's why, when Melonie saw Yvette standing in the doorway, supporting a pair of twins and her consort's arm wrapped tightly around them, she smiled. Life was too short, especially in their family.
"Hello Yvette, and Caesar. Who are these little ones?" Melonie had clearly given up on the hatred she housed for Tabitha. She knew that the end of her life was nearer than she had expected, and it was time to make amends. At least, with two great grandchildren, she would know that the line was continuing...even if it now included a human witch's blood.
Finding the right page had taken awhile, but Lucy had managed. She pointed to a name, "Bernardino," she said quietly, before running her fingers across the names of his wife, children, and grandchildren. After a moment, she turned back to the shelf, concentration on her face as she searched for the books of the other four original families. Finally, after several minutes, she returned to Tabitha with three books; the Vazquez book had likely never existed, but she had still been disappointed that she couldn't find it. However, the Telle book remained. Excitedly, she opened the cover and began to flip through the pages, only to feel her emotions deflate. It was nearly blank. After glancing at the Nunez and Roberto books, she realized that only the Solindo book had been kept up to date. The rest had clearly been lazily recorded. "I guess this is where it stops being easy..." she said with a sigh, before doing her best to at least find the name of the woman who had married into the Telle family.

Yvette smiled and moved forward with her husband. When the woman had reached the bed she sat down with the little girl in her arms. She was tired and even pushed her hair back and tucked it behind her ear. "We brought the twins for you to meet." She told her grandmother as she started with the little princess. "This one is Isabel." She said turning her face for a moment to the little girl. "And this one is Christian." She continued and pointed to her son. She was going to let the old woman pick who she held first. Most likely her grandson who was named over her husband. ~~~~~~ Tabitha chuckled. "Well it shouldn't be too hard. I mean the Telle's are still a noble family. I'm sure we can look them up using the internet." the woman commented as a computer popped up on the nearest desk. "All we need is the right people to help use." The woman added.

Melonie eyes the two infants, unsure initially of what to think. One of these children would rule the sirens someday...and she would never see it. She supposed she should be too tired to care but somehow, she felt as if maybe things should be the way they were. She had spent years trying to keep their bloodline pure, trying to keep things as they had always been. She had kept her son away from Tabitha, and yet, despite all that she had done...these babies would be the next generation of rulers. Maybe...maybe she shouldn't have done all that she had...
When Yvette spoke, revealing the names of the children, the old woman felt her eyes tear up. The doctor in the corner was clearly concerned about all the excitement, but Melonie didn't care. There was little to care about, nowadays. Ever since her husband's death, she'd only wanted to watch out for her children. The girls seemed to care for themselves but her son...Seth had needed more watching than most. Yet, as she grew older and her illness spread, she had more and more time on her hands. Time used to think, which led her to realize that no matter what she had done to keep Seth on a certain path, things kept happening...perhaps it was fate.
"Isabel and...and Christian?" She smiled a warm smile, making her face look far kinder than it had in decades. The expression she wore at that moment, was probably the one she had shown most of her life, before the death of her eldest child and the complications involved with her second son's life. Being a member of royalty had twisted Melonie, but she knew that she would find a way to amend for her sins before she passed.
Lucianna rose a brow, wondering just how easy it would be to look up the Telle clan. She knew that monsterbook was likely the most accessible, but would they be able to track the older members of the family that way? "Who are the right people?" she asked, leaning over Tabby's shoulder to see what she was doing.

Yvette smiled gently at her grandmother. " Yeah. I wanted to name him after this sweet old man from my childhood." She barely remembered her grandfather, but what memory she had of him was a fond . "His full name is Christian Seth Victor while Isabel's is Isabel Tabitha Dawn Aurora. We're still taking about their godparents, but we have a month to nail it down." The woman commented. She was sure she would have her cousin as one of them since little Izzy was a namesake. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Tabbitha turned and giggled. "I don't know yet, but we'll find out soon." She answered the girl. She started to go on a family search site and typed in the information that she knew about the woman and records started to pop up, including the names of the children she had.

"Such beautiful names." she said, her arms wrapping around little Christian. Melonie's smile was warm when she looked up, hearing Yvette describe her late husband. Christian has been such a wonderful man, loved by the people and his own family. He had been the perfect king at a time of peace...Holding her great-grandson, the old woman was once again reminded of the fact that Yvette would be queen. She held Isabel next, and she knew as she looked into the face of this child, Melonie would have to expose her darkest secret...someday soon. It was only fair that everyone knew what she knew, since it hadn't managed to work as she had hoped. When Caesar moved to retrieve Isabel, she spoke lightly to Yvette. "I hope you will visit me again soon, before I am gone. Bring your father, then." she said, before she burst into another fit of coughing.
Lucianna was shocked that Tabby had managed to find so much information so quickly. It would take time and patience, but she was certain that the witch would be able to find who she needed to break the curse. It would be truly amazing, and she found herself wishing that the internet ran quicker. She sat down beside the woman, watching as she did research and the like. Every few minutes, Lucy would stretch, yawn, or get up and pace. Clearly, her attention span was suited to this, she would much rather do something else to help. But there would be nothing for her to do, at least not until Tabitha found a living family member. So, after a handul of minutes more, Lucy asked, "Do you...um, do you need me for this part?" She smoothed her dress, looking down for a second before speaking again, doing her best not to show just how incredibly bored she was. "It's just, I have a feeling that Elendil may be lost by now. I wouldn't want an international incident on our hands." She laughed lightly, partially believing her own excuse. The prince may just have gotten turned around, most of the hallways did look like each other, and she had left him alone for quite awhile now...Lucy was almost certain the visiting would even be over by now.

Yvette shifted Isabel in her arms as she used her other to rub her grandmother's back. "Don't say that. You have plenty of time." The woman commented before turning to her husband with a worried look. "If you want I can get dad now." She added. She was trying to keep the old woman's mind off of being sick. ~~~~~~~~~ Tabby turned to Lucy. "I'm almost there. Give me five more minutes." The woman said as she continued to search for the descendants. After a few clicks she found a child. "I got one child." She said as she wrote a name down on the pad she made appear. "And another, and another." She past the notes to the redhead. "These are the last ones in the direct line that died. They probably have children and grandchild who's records are not open to the public since they are still living."

"Yes, that might be best." Melonie had no promise that she would even live another day; and she knew herself well enough to admit that she may not have the nerve to say what needed to be said the next day. No...no, she would have to say it now. "You go and get the king, dear." she said to Caesar, who looked between the old woman and his wife. Yvette looked worried, and he couldn't blame her. Was there something else going on? It felt like she had something to say; something she wanted to share.
Lucy nodded, trying to look less bored but barely managing to stand still for the next few minutes. Finally, after what felt like forever to the young siren, Tabitha showed her the notes. Surprise crossed her face as she read the list, recognizing almost every name as some duke or lord of whatever. But it was one name in particular that caught her eye. "Ju'ile Kilao? Are you sure this is right?" she asked, her tone an odd mixture of concern and excitement. "The Kilao elves...The Vazquez bloodline went through the Telles and into the Kilao's? But-" she reread the paper, looking through every name as it descended into the next generation. There was no mistaking it; if Tabitha's research was correct and true, one of the direct descendants had been under their noses the whole time. "Bellatrix...We have to go to Reed's."

Yvette gave her husband a looked that told him to go get her father. She then got up and walked over to the nearest arm chair and set her daughter down so the infant was out of her arms. She then returned to her grandmother. "He'll be right back with dad." The woman promised. ~~~~~~~ Tabby turned to Lucy. Not knowing what she would say next. "There are other descendents, but that is through the line of the first born." She told the girl and then heard the next words. "Wait, what? They married into the family anyways?" The woman commented as she pulled a teleporter out of thin air.

Caesar didn't need any more than Yvette's look to know that he was to listen to Melonie and do as she asked. He stood, straightening his shirt before leaving the room in search of the king. It took almost half an hour, but he eventually found Seth, who appeared rather preoccupied with his wife. The couple were clearly only paying attention to each other as they kissed, and Caesar wondered just how badly Melonie needed to speak with her son. They were down the hallway, far enough away for him to turn around without them noticing. He spun, almost around the corner when he heard the king ask, "So it's not important?" Caesar turned back to face his father-in-law, noting that Seth had yet to completely let go of the queen. Clearly, if Caesar told him that what he had to say could wait, Seth would be returning to his previous plans.
"Well...It's your mother. She wanted to speak with you and Yvette. Probably just congratulations, I'm sure that tomorrow-"
"No, no. We can go now." said Seth, motioning for Caesar to lead the way. The king interlaced his fingers with Eileen's, gauging her expression. She had never truly managed to get along with Tabitha, but his wife held no ill will towards Yvette, or the newborn babies. Still, he cast her an apologetic look, to which she whispered, "You can continue to insist that you're still young later." She gave him a teasing smile; clearly she'd been using his new title of grandpa against him.
Caesar pretended to ignore their flirting, it was something he had never wanted to listen to; but he knew it would cease once they were back in the room. He had never heard the two act like such a married couple in front of Yvette...Maybe Seth was more aware of what bothered his daughter than he let on. Nonetheless, they were back in front of Melonie's room within minutes. Caesar held the door open for everyone, and filed in last, earning the doctor's warning glare.
Lucianna nodded, accepting the truth of the matter. In actuality, it would have been easier to get a complete stranger's help in breaking this curse. Instead, they would have to work with somebody who swore to never have anything to do with the Solindo clan. "They must not know. Ju'ile was nobody important until her daughter married Victor. The Vazquez family must not know...unless they-" she cut off, her mind working a mile a minute to comprehend the thought she had. Unless they did know, and they...could they have planned the attack in Baliea?" The mountains where Bellatrix was born, her people were slaughtered, including her family. Why would the Vazquez target their own?...Lucy looked to the transporter in Tabby's hand, her expression set as she gave a sharp nod, agreeing to the silent question.

Yvette looked at her father as she sat with her grandmother and gave him a worried look. She had even abandoned her newborn daughter in the armchair for the old woman. She waved her father closer. "Grandma, dad it here now." She told the woman with a smile. She would allow the woman to talk. ~~~~~~~~~ Tabby listened to what Lucy had to say and nodded that the attack was odd. Elves were often left to their own devices and were considered friendly. "If they did attack then that would mean their target wasn't Victor, but Bellatrix and her mother. Because she was in the line, she could break the spell." The witch commented. "They don't want the curse broken. They want it to continue." Tabby added. A sick feeling came to her stomach. Her plan would never have worked that means. "Do you think they'll try to attack again?"

Immediately, Seth's expression changed from his usual jovial self, to one of worry when he spotted that Yvette had let go of her grandchildren in exchange for sitting beside Melonie. He pulled up a chair, taking his mother's hands in his own as he said, "I'm here mama." He watched as she smiled at him, his face softening as she spoke to him. "I have something-" She coughed again, causing Seth to hold back an expression of pain. He had sat in a chair just like this when his father had died; it was the worst form of torture to go through it all again with his mother. But he kept calm, reminding Melonie that he was here, and she didn't have to talk right then. They could just sit and he could sing for her, but slowly she seemed to remember why she had called for her son. And when she spoke, he quieted.
"I must tell you the truth. I wanted to protect you, to always keep you safe, you know." she explaining her reasoning, well aware that what she was going to say would only end in anger pointed at her; but if Seth still loved her, she would be okay. "I never thought Yvette would want to rule. I knew she would try, for a bit, but...Yvette, I understand now that you will be Queen, someday. Your children will rule after you...Eileen's children will never sit on the throne." She looked passed Seth, where the current Queen stood just beyond his shoulder. Her face was hard, but she had yet to hear what she didn't already know. She still had Seth, though...Eileen would be okay so long as she had her husband.
"So you all should know-" Melonie was cut off by the doctor, who shouted loudly once she realized what was about to be said. "No! Majesty, you said that this should never be shared. You said-" the woman was waved aside, her face almost terrified of what was about to happen. She inched slowly towards the door, one of the only people in the world who could confirm or deny what was about to be said. "Go on, mama." encouraged Seth, his attention solely on his mother as she continued. "Seth, I love you...I love you so much. I've always cared for you, and I've made a mistake in the guise of love...But please know that I did what I did for you, and for your family."
Seth's expression betrayed no confusion, although he had no idea what his mother was talking about. He simply nodded instead, his smile warm as he insisted, "Mama, I love you too. I know you love me." He clasped her hands tighter as she began to cry, and he wondered what she could possibly be so worried about. It definitely wasn't good for her health, to be so emotional. He spun to look at the doctor, only to find that the woman was gone. Concern crossed his face as he turned back to his mother, hearing her speak once again. Her voice was low, weak, but her words were unmistakably clear. "Lucianna is Tabitha's daughter..."
"What?" The questions on everybody's minds was voiced by Eileen, who's expression looked more amused than upset. Clearly, the old woman was confused, maybe even delusional. Eileen had given birth to Lucy; she was certain she would have known if he had not been pregnant. "Mother, I am Lucianna's mom...Tabitha is Yvette's mom." she explained, wondering if Melonie had somehow confused the two girls.
It was crazy. Everybody had assumed that Victor had been the target of the attack. He was the newcomer, a siren who had eloped. But years of peacefulness had passed with his family; Seth had always said that the news of the attack had been a shock. Who would have waited eight years to kill Victor? Somebody who not been targeting Victor, that's who..."They might not know Bellatrix is alive. Her parents and sister had both died, and her name was changed when she was adopted by the Caliu family. The only reason we know is because she told us. If they find out...we have to talk to her." "
