Ezio grinned maliciously as Kyra got vindictive with him. "I'd like to see you try... I'll even restrain myself and only beat you within an inch of your life, that way you can watch them die!" Ezio laughed hysterically. He was a mad pokemon, whose bloodlust knew no bounds. There was only one person in the world he would ever listen to, only one who could tame this wild beast, but she had long since abandoned him, and Ezio was lost in his own demented little world. As they clashed horns, the Absol only lashed out faster and harder, only seeming to gain in strength as the battle went on, rather than tire out, however, the battle seemed to be getting nowhere.
Ezio had lept back, switching his tactics up to break this continuous cycle and try to turn the odds in his favor faster. With some distance between them, Ezio charged for Kyra with a Megahorn, picking up speed as he closed in. The Haxorus tucked herself into a Torterra sort of position, attempting to shield herself against the blow, and Ezio grinned, getting just in range again before making a leap onto her back. He shoved down as hard as he could, clenching his claws onto her armor to get a better grip, because surely this would no doubt turn into a Tauros ride, but the Absol was relatively safe from most attacks the Haxorus could potentially throw from his new position. Her arms were a bit too stubby and her neck a bit too thick to wrap around and reach him, the tail he needed to watch out for though, and counter with his horn.
For now though, while he held the element of surprise, Ezio swung his Megahorn down onto Kyra's armored head, hoping to at least daze her with a good, heavy blow. Ezio was no greenhorn when it came to all out brawling, most of the time he didn't need to rely on tactics, just brute strength, but that wasn't going to work on a Haxorus. Kyra's plate armor was too thick for that and she was much larger than he was. She was strong too, battle hardened and hard to handle when they had butted heads. If Ezio hadn't been altered by Team Void, he probably would have easily overpowered, but all those tests and all those injections had effectively made him about as strong as a Haxorus, possibly even stronger if he was at full strength, which he certainly was not at now, hence why he was struggling so much to hold any of Kyra's blows. He needed to knock her down hard and fast, and this was possibly the only way he was going to do it.

Cyndaquil glared after the Vulpix. Was he really that stupid? "I was trying to distract him from escaping, you moron," she muttered, "Does he really look like the conversational type?" What an idiot! He comes over, knowing absolutely nothing about her, or about the situation, and ignoring the blatantly obvious that just about anyone could have figured out! Hurr durr, a pokemon is tied up at the day care, clearly by the people who run, maybe he's dangerous, yeah? And then to tell her she doesn't understand about being tied up! She was practically shaking with anger. She would have liked to have punched that snooty little pokemon in his furry face, but there was no point. Even though, at this point, she was only more certain she could beat him.
And hell, he could have at least got help! Tried to distract him as he prepared to murder her! Pokemon like that... They didn't need to exist. She was fairly certain Lelanna would have threatened him out of amusement, but meant it, if she'd been around. Where the heck was she, anyway...
Shaking off the thought, she turned to Belle, nodding to her comment. She back on her haunches, resting her hands on her abdomen as she looked up at the larger pokemon. Her head bowed and turned slightly to glance back at the other pokemon that were around the Daycare. "To be fair, screaming out might have done a better job at getting their attention... And I porbably should have got fair. I just figured someone.... Well! I was lucky you noticed, at least!" She looked back, beaming up at the pokemon. The smile slipped a bit as she looked past Belle at the fight, watching somberly. She really needed to train, and get stronger. She would never be as big and armored as Kyra... but some day she would get powerful enough to defeat that furball.
She shifted, standing up and then dropping to all fours with a nod as her gaze shifted to Sweet Belle. "I guess so. I'd like to try and really take him on, but I need to get stronger first, and if he's gonna come after us, might as well make it harder for him," she admitted, "Do you mind if we move to the training area?" Even though she was still catching her breath a bit, she wanted to start getting back to her exercising while she could.

So this was it, huh? With feet firmly placed onto the ground, hands grasping at loose skin, and a smug smirk situated on his face, Rags surveyed the Daycare Center. It wasn't that impressive: with a few pokemon bunched together and others choosing to, literally, run alone. Ivory irises cut from pokemon to pokemon before he gave a curt nod. Yup, he was totally stronger than all of these weaklings. The egotistical Scraggy tugged upwards at his baggy skin so that it hung at his waist-- it was such a pain to walk around with it hanging so low-- and he began his swagger forward, each step a testimony of his self-worth. All these pokemon here? They were just chumps! That new trainer of his expected him to train, but from the looks of it he wouldn't have a sparring partner-- time for some solo training!

Ren put a good amount of distance between him and the previous gathering of pokemon before stopping and having a look around. Hmph. That Cyndaquil was quite an idiot to bother that absol in the first place, even if it already had a violent disposition. All the more reason to not go near the brute. Hmph. That little rodent even called him a moron as he walked away. The absol was apparently going to get away with or without being antagonized, and she got what she deserved for aggravating the beast. The navy colored Vulpix huffed, sitting beneath a tree. That stupid starter had no idea who she was even talking to. Ren had won several ribbons with his well kept fur and dazzling looks. The vulpix licked his paw, then started to groom himself to get his mind off of the annoying encounter he had had.

Without slowing his pace even a margin, Rags meandered aimlessly around the wide expanse of the Daycare in search for training equipment. In the past, he'd literally relied on his head and gone about headbutting every thing, person and pokemon into sight. But, that hadn't helped his last trainer, and it hadn't gotten him out of that freak of a mansion; a change in regiment was required.
His mind cluttered with thoughts, Rags became more preoccupied with them than his progress-- and his steps forward became slower and more hesitant as time passed until finally the fighting-type stood stock still in a grassland-ish area, a gentle breeze brushing and whipping knee-high vegetation. Those sort of thoughts... they were detrimental to his current assignment! No more... he wasn't... He was Rags now, the amazing pokemon to that crybaby Huey. Well, sorta crybaby. He seemed capable, but it was obvious that, as usual, he'd be carrying the human, and the rest of the team, throughout their entire adventure-- wherever that was.

Ren felt his fur bristle for a moment, a tickling sensation running down his back. Was someone talking about him somewhere? The vulpix shook it off, smoothing out his chest fur with a paw. The blue crystal charm clinked gently against his collar with his movement. There didn't seem to be any other pokemon about that interested him nearly enough to go bother. It seemed that there was a large deer there that might have been a bit important, but it didn't matter to Ren. As far as he was concerned, at the moment, he was the most valuable pokemon here from what he's seen. He had such a luxurious coat of navy, and was a contest winner. His pretty face was in magazines from time to time. Heck, he had even been pictured in some advertisements before! He doubted any pokemon here could top that.

☆ ☆【Sweet Belle said nothing, only listening as the Cyndaquil glared towards the navy-colored Vulpix as he took his leave of them. Her ear flicked slightly as she heard a bit of the fire mouse’s muttering, saying that she had been trying to distract the Absol so that he wouldn’t escape. Well, a little too late for now, the beast was unleashed and there wasn’t anything that could be done about it. Unless, of course, the Daycare staff realize that the dangerous Pokemon that they had chained up was now running amok and causing havoc on the grounds… Then again, what were the chances of that happening? Nonetheless, she could see that the Cyndaquil and Vulpix were likely starting to develop as rivals or something along the lines, noticing the fire mouse was practically shaking as she contained her anger. To be honest, the Miltank thought that the Vulpix could’ve done something, like distracting the Absol or calling out for help, something other than sitting around and just watching everything unfold. Really, this whole situation could’ve been avoided to begin with if he had taken the appropriate measures and actually done something about it. But it really couldn’t be helped at this point, the Miltank returning her full attention towards the Cyndaquil as she seemed to agree with her comment. Really, Sweet Belle was just frustrated that there were several other Pokemon present on the grounds, and no one had come over to help out when there was clearly another Pokemon in danger. Hell, even the Xerneas could’ve easily handled the situation since he was a legendary and practically the largest damn Pokemon around here as of now. Huffing softly, she listened as the Cyndaquil said that in all fairness, perhaps she should’ve screamed or shouted something like ‘Help!’ to attract the attention of the other Pokemon, but she had clearly been more focused on not letting the Absol’s attempt at intimidation shake her. Belle nodded in agreement, before shrugging and sighing softly. ” Well, th’ damage’s already done, hindsight’s a pain in th’ a**, I’ll tell ya that much,”she remarked simply, figuring that there was no use in crying over spilt milk at this point. She gave a grin at the Cyndaquil, who stated how glad she had been that someone had noticed the situation at hand and had intervened. Glancing back towards the fight, Sweet Belle figured that it would be in their best interests to get as far away from here as possible. As much as she hated leaving Kyra to deal with the Absol herself, the Haxorus was clearly better at dealing with the situation than any of them were capable of doing right now. The Cyndaquil agreed with her suggestion of heading off elsewhere, preferably so that the Absol would have a harder time coming after them in the event that Kyra couldn’t hold him off. She stated that she would like to try to take on Ezio right now, but she had some training to do and said that they may as well make it harder for him to chase them down. At the question of heading to the training area, Sweet Belle shrugged slightly in response.” Yeah, sure, anywhere that ain’t here’s good at this poin’, let’s get goin’,”she said with a nod, gently ushering the Cyndaquil along in the direction of the training area. For now, they had to leave it to Kyra to hold down the fort and hopefully knock that bone-headed b*****d down a few notches while they made a quick getaway.” Why th’ hell was tha’ guy tied up anyways? Ya’d think tha’ if he’s so damn dangerous, they shoulda shipped ‘im off t’ a maximum security prison instead o’ a Daycare,”she asked out of curiosity as she and the Cyndaquil made their way towards the training area. Really, if the Absol was that crazed and dangerous, they could’ve at least taken more secure measures to restrain and contain him than just a simple chain and stake setup. Seriously, the Miltank often wondered if humans really were just absolute morons in general sometimes… Kyra’s gaze narrowed, a defiant snarl emanating from her throat as Ezio laughed, saying that he’d even restrain himself and beat her within an inch of her life so she could watch him kill the others. As strong as the Absol was, Kyra was a battle-hardened veteran herself, and she was never one to give in without a fight. She hoped that Belle and the Cyndaquil would have taken the time to escape elsewhere while she handled the beast, feeling some comfort in knowing that they would be safe, if only temporarily. Her experience in the Underground League had taught her to not face death with fear, but to approach it head-on with defiance. She wasn’t going to go down so easily, and she didn’t care if she died. It would be a worthy sacrifice to give her life to save those of the innocent. She was no hero, though, not one that most others would see her as. She was a beast, doing only what was necessary to survive against the monsters she had faced, and it was only by becoming a monster herself that she had been able to last this long. And so the battle began, Kyra exchanging blow after blow with her Absol opponent as she countered each of his strikes with her own. She could feel him growing steadily faster and stronger, but so was she, fatigue and wear became an afterthought when it came to battles of life or death. Her time in the Underground League taught her that much. Once you were exhausted, your life was already over as your opponent would not hesitate to strike you down then and there. However, the fight was getting nowhere fast as she parried each and every one of Ezio’s strikes. Separating from each other, it was clear that a change of tactics was needed as Ezio came at her once again with a Megahorn attack at the ready. Kyra tucked herself into a turtle-like position, hoping to catch him off guard before he struck her and retaliate with an Outrage attack. However, it seemed that her plan would need to be changed as the Absol suddenly leapt onto her back before she could lash out. She grunted as she felt him push down on her, narrowing her eyes. So that was how he was going to play, hm? Well then, she already had a sense of what he was going to do. The Haxorus wouldn’t be able to reach him as long as he remained on her back, since her neck was too thick to reach around and her arms weren’t long enough to claw at him. Likely he would try to use this as an attempt to knock her down, try to use her blindspot as an advantage against her. At this point, there wasn’t much she was capable of doing if she was going to shake him off, but she was going to damn well try. Growling low, she ducked her head down low against her chest, just in time as she felt the impact of the Absol’s Megahorn against her armored neck. It was enough to rattle her briefly as she grunted from slight pain and pressure, but she wasted no time as she then sent herself rolling forward into a somersault sort of motion. It was the only means that she could come up with that would hopefully be able to get the Absol off her back, no pun intended. If he knew better, he would jump off immediately or else he would risk himself getting crushed between her armored body and the ground below. He was faster than her, yes, but Kyra was a hardened, experienced fighter, she would not let herself get knocked down and out so easily. Ampere on the other hand was carefully slinking about the brush and trees in a small patch, not daring to go out in the open until she knew for certain that no one was actually chasing her. She really felt bad for shocking that poor woman, she knew that the Daycare worker had only been trying to help her… The Electrike had tried to warn her, it wasn’t as if she had intended to shock her. Arceus… she really needed to learn how to control her static soon, the last thing she wanted to do was to accidentally hurt her new trainer when she really didn’t mean to. The woman who had been taking care of her before, Irene, had suggested that traveling and training with a new trainer, Chrysanthemum if she remembered her name correctly, would be beneficial in helping her get over her problem… Maybe then she would be able to learn how to reign in her control over her static. For now, though, she would just focus on trying to avoid any sort of contact with anyone else unless they had protective gear on, like rubber gloves or something... She had pissed off plenty of people before when she had shocked them on accident, and she really didn’t want to make any more enemies for herself, whether it was intentional or not. Quite some time had passed since her initial arrival here… maybe the Daycare Workers had decided to not chase after her. Poking her head out from a patch of brush, she looked around with an anxious gaze. She couldn’t see much of anything else going on, but she still felt rather nervous… Carefully parting the brush with her nose, Ampere took a cautious step from her hiding place, looked around to gauge what was going on, and then took another. She repeated this process until she had all four feet out from her hiding spot. So far, the coast looked to be clear, but a part of her still felt very uncertain of if what she was doing was a good idea. Step, look, step, step, look, step… So far, so good, no one had jumped her yet or anything, her steps slowly became surer as she looked around. Maybe she should just head off somewhere where she could just sit and calm herself, she was far too edgy to even think about anything else right now.】☆ ☆

Sofie Leon's future Mienshao
With incredible grace, a mienshao entered the daycare of her own volition, seeming to be from the wild. She had slipped through the fence and into the area quietly, sharp magenta eyes scanning the daycare. No one seemed bothered by her entrance. Not that she would have cared if it had been an issue to anyone. Now, why was this fine pokemon here? She had swiftly gotten loose from a testing facility. A Team Void one, to be exact. They had stuck her with needles and ran tests on her, forcing her to push her limits in fights. She had no memories from before she was captured by Team Void except for one thing. At one point, she had been called Sofie, and she's stuck to that name, though Team Void had called her by a much different name. Not even a name, but a number, followed by 'beta'. The Mienshao did not care to even recall that number, instead, focusing on how she'd avoid being recaptured, in case they were looking for her. The daycare seemed like a decent place to lay low for now. She lurked about before finding herself by an area that seemed to be for training, with things to take a whack at that seemed like they could take a beating for the most part. Sofie tested out a dummy target, flicking her wrist at it and whipping it with her long arm fur with a satisfying "CRACK!". The old wooden target creaked, falling over in two pieces. "Ach... it was too weak... No gut..." she mumbled to herself.

Sunny Rose's 8 inch ball of energy
Sunny had been rather disappointed in being having been shipped off to the daycare, but thanks to that fancy looking delphox, she at least wasn't going to be missing out on any adventures. From the sounds of it, her new trainer had some parent problem that was going to delay her for some reason. The rodent didn't understand fully, nor did she know the full details. However, once she was received at the daycare, she bolted for the outdoors, finding herself in a large, fenced in area. "Hm. hm. Grand ol' place they got hea. Plenty o' space fo' leggin' it." Sunny murmured to herself, then gave a nod. "Aye, it'll do~" she squeaked, then went for a run about the grounds, checking out the other pokemon, shouting an occasional "Howya!" in greeting. The little ball of energy was zipping in and out of bushes, hopping across rocks, climbing logs like there was no stopping her. She was already having fun exploring, and she hadn't even run into any other pokemon yet!

Ezio snarled in frustration when his blow only hit Kyra's neck, he'd been aiming for her head since that surely would have rattled her thick skull, but Ezio would take his losses. At least it did some damage, but to have anticipated his attack, Ezio had to admit he was somewhat impressed. He had already pegged Kyra for a warrior type, but this was a level above.
The Absol didn't have long to stay impressed though, before he knew it the Haxorus was going into the offensive, rolling forwards in an attempt to get him off. It was admittedly convincing, Ezio wasn't going to stay there like an idiot and let her crush him beneath her massive armored body. Ezio quickly jumped off of Kyra, backwards so that he could reposition himself behind her and quickly charge at her once again.
However, an uproar soon cried out. "s**t, he got loose!"Damn I thought we'd tied him up tight...!" Ezio's eyes widened as the cavalry came back, the group of pokemon rangers who'd wrangled him and chained him up, though this time the group of three had a fourth with them, a stronger, more confident man. "What'd you expect you idiots?! You can't just tie an Absol down with a muzzle and a chain and expect it to stay put, especially not this one! Stylers at the ready!" Ezio backed away from them with a feral growl. They didn't really think those stupid tops were going to get them anywhere did they? Apperently so, all four tops coming out at once, encircling him threateningly, though the new leaderly man seemed extremely shaken by the results that the device was giving him. "Wh-what the hell.....""I told you sir, the aggravation readings are off the charts! I've never seen anything like it before. It's not natural!" Ezio gave a dark chuckle. "Fools..." Ezio leapt at their stylists, knocking each of them down one by one. He shot Kyra a wild grin. "I'll deal with you later...." He growled, glancing back to the befuddled rangers leeringly. "Catch me if you can...." Ezio taunted with a sneer, bounding off deeper into the daycare to lead the rangers astray.

Ren Leon's Future Vulpix
Ren noticed some new pokemon showing up in the daycare, but didn't move from his claimed patch of grass under a tree. He wasn't really here to be social, anyways. This was just a temporary place. No need to go and make any friends or anything. Most of them were probably not worth his time anyways. The vulpix huffed to himself, deciding instead to just lay in the grass and relax for now.

Lv. 6 HP: 60/60 Ability: Drought - Weather changes to Sunshine when the Pokemon enters the battle Attacks: Ember - 40 || 4/10 Chance of Burn Tail Whip - Lowers opponent's defense by one stage Exp: 16/15 (level up!) 1/16
"Alright, myen! Chaaaarge!" Leading his valiant squad, Shine stormed into the Daycare as everyone watched in awe... Or at least, that was what he would have liked to happen. Instead, the Skitty turned and saw Bao and YJ both bumbling slowly behind him. "...Nyo, nyo! You guys have to put some sa-meow-rai spirit in your steps! Chestoooo!" Shine stood up on his hind legs, striking a kabuki-like pose before turning his head. Expecting Bao and YJ to do the same, he waited... And waited... And waited.
Bao sat down on the grass, picking at it absent-mindedly. York Junior, ever the master of wordplay... Burped. And then that was it.
Shine flopped onto his back, groaning. "Nyoooo, this is a nightmare... My only comrades are a duck and a trashbag!" They seemed to be stuck there until further notice. The three, oblivious to everything else going on in the Daycare Center, stuck together in a group so that they wouldn't just get picked on for being so weak. Shine had designated himself as leader, something that neither Bao nor YJ had a problem with. "By the way, Bao, where'd you get that fancy scarf, meow?" Shine rolled back onto his feet and walked over, sitting down next to his teammates.
Bao turned his head slightly. "Trees give you presents if you headbutt them. Not of their own free will, of course."
"I-is that a riddle, or something meow...?"
"No. I hit a tree with my head and got a scarf. It was fun... I think."
With nothing better to contribute to the conversation, York Junior let out another tiny belch. It was going to be a long day.

Cyndaquil nodded solemnly in agreement with the Miltank, bowing her head a bit to look at the ground. She could feel the fire building inside of her, not the kind of fire that accompanied an attack, no, but rather the fire of anger, and passion, and the desire to get stronger, and train. She lifted her head up when Bell agreed to changing location to the training area, giving a sharp nod in agreement, and tottering off along with her, lowering her hands from her belly. She could still feel the scratches and the bruises on her skin, but she would be able to ignore that.
She waddled over with Bell, glancing over and perking up when she noticed Rangers racing over to Ezio. Hopefully that meant that they could take care of him, and sedate him... and maybe dress him up in a little outfit for humiliation, and hang him from his feet, and... She shook the thoughts off and focused on the equipment as they approached, looking up over at Bo as she moved on ahead. "Dunno. They shouldn'ta let him in here, though. Shouldn't've brought him here. At least they seem to be rounding him up now, though," she said, moving over and wiggling her way under a dumbell. "Maybe they were just trying to hold him here because they caught him nearby and needed to get more people, or find out what to do with him... but they should have just knocked him out, or something, or locked him in a room. Tying him to a stake certainly didn't do anything..."
Laying on her back, she lifted her paw up, fitting them to the bar to begin bench pressing it with all four legs-- she wasn't exactly big enough to get a grip with it otherwise, after all, and she was so small she didn't really even have to curl up to extend all her legs together. It was pretty clear she was switching between using her front paws to just balance, and her legs to push, and then vice versa, though. "How long... have you and your friend... been here?" she asked between breaths, concentrating on her work, but trying to remain conversational.

There were lots of other Pokemon there, and yet Shine had a feeling that the three of them were quite weak compared to everyone else. It bothered him immensely... He wanted to train and get stronger, yet his new trainer had left him here with a duck and a bag of garbage. That was okay, though! Somehow things would work out! Hopping up, the Skitty looked to and fro. There seemed to be some sort of commotion going on deeper into the daycare. Yelling coming from humans? Curious, Shine turned away from Bao and YJ; they weren't doing anything important, anyway. "Nyeow, you guys hear that?" He sniffed a little... The samurai-cat was catching a whiff of some serious angst. "Woah-ho-ho! That's a stink that I just can't ignore, meow!" His words caught Bao's attention, at least. Shine nudged York Junior to try and get him to follow their lead. "Nyes! I'm really feeling it meow!"
"An energy from far away... Very strange. Very very strange." Bao clutched at his head... They had to do something about it if they were going to enjoy the rest of their time there. Such a disturbance was unforgivable! "I'll be following your lead." Turning to YJ, Bao and Shine nodded. The Trubbish belched in response. Things were getting interesting now! Before the chance passed them by, the three Pokemon darted towards where the commotion was coming from. Human voices would guide their way for now.
"Gang waaaay! Sa-meow-rai Spirit Squad, scrambling to the scrap! Nyaaaar!"
It probably wasn't a very cool or imposing sight, seeing a Skitty, Psyduck, and Trubbish charging together. They were seemingly oblivious to how useless they'd be in a fight, however... The only thing they were focused on was tailing whatever was giving those humans so much trouble.

☆ ☆【Sweet Belle gave a small smile as the Cyndaquil nodded in agreement with her statement, though she noticed the way the fire mouse bent her head towards the ground, as well as the way she held her belly with her little paws. Seemed like the Absol’s claws had dug in pretty good, likely causing bruises more than anything else. At least she wasn’t bleeding, which was quite a relief if the Miltank thought so herself. Nonetheless, when it looked like they were both in agreement for heading towards the training area, Belle wasted no time as she walked off alongside the Cyndaquil, casting a glance back towards her Haxorus companion and the Absol she was facing. She felt rather bad for leaving Kyra to deal with the b*****d, but neither Belle nor the Cyndaquil were in any shape to help out. And even then, she wasn’t entirely certain of what could be done to help… Still, she knew Kyra was capable of holding her own, she had never doubted the Haxorus’s abilities before and she certainly wasn’t going to start now. The Miltank and her new Cyndaquil acquaintance made their way across towards the training area, the cow’s ears perking up when she heard a commotion nearby. She looked over in time to see several Rangers chasing after the Absol, heading towards the deeper parts of the Daycare as they pursued him with styles drawn.” Hmph, ‘bout damn time someone noticed…”she grumbled to herself as she watched them go. Hopefully the Rangers would be able to capture and contain the Absol, maybe ship him off somewhere else. A dangerous Pokemon like that certainly didn’t belong in a place like the Daycare, especially where it posed a threat to just about all of the other Pokemon present. Sweet Belle voiced her questions as to why the Absol was here to begin with, listening as Cyndaquil gave her response. At least someone agreed with her that the beast shouldn’t have been put here to begin with, even though it looked like the Rangers seemed to be taking care of it for the time.” Yeah, s’ppose so, we’ll see how well that goes though,”the Miltank input, being a bit pessimistic as she watched the Cyndaquil wiggle herself beneath a dumbbell,” ‘Least ‘e won’t come after us, at least that’s what I’m ‘opin’ fer…”Moving closer, she stood close to the Cyndaquil to spot for her, just so that she wouldn’t get crushed underneath the dumbbell if her legs gave out or anything. She listened as the Cyndaquil suggested that perhaps the Absol had been put in here for holding until they got more people, or were trying to figure out what to do with him. But they could’ve at least knocked him out or something, or locked him up in a room, because clearly their chain and stake setup hadn’t held any water when it came to trying to contain him. ” Yer preachin’ t’ th’ choir ‘ere, sister,”Sweet Belle responded with a nod as she folded her arms,” If I was in their shoes, I woulda slapped th’ ever-lovin’ holy Hell outta anyone who even remotely suggested that containin’ a clearly wild n’ aggressive Pokemon in a damn Daycare wit’ only a stake n’ chain was a good idea. Y’know, ‘tis time likes this that I often question th’ choices humans make…”Of course, she wasn’t meaning it as an offensive statement towards people in general, but the sheer stupidity of some people at times was just astounding. She watched the Cyndaquil get to work, the fire mouse alternating between using her front paws for balance and her hind legs for lifting. Not a bad method, but Sweet Belle was still remaining close by just in case. At the question the Cyndaquil posed to her about how long she and Kyra had been here, the fire mouse of course asking between breaths as she worked out, the Miltank got a thoughtful look on her face.” Not long, methinks… Probably ‘bout 3 days, maybe, we’re awaitin’ our new trainer t’ pick us up after this ol’ gal named Irene put us ‘ere for safekeepin’,”she answered with a nod,” Ky n’ I ain’t really friends, I don’ think, though. More like… really close acquaintances ‘r somethin’ like that, though probably close ‘nough t’ be considered friends… Hell if I know. She ain’t bad company t’ be wit’ if ya can get pas’ th’ size difference n’ th’ thick accent, though she tends t’ focus more on trainin’ than talkin’. So between th’ both o’ us, she’s th’ brawn, n’ I’m th’ brains, sorta.”Sweet Belle knew better than to intentionally get on Kyra’s bad side, the Haxorus was certainly quite intimidating and threatening even when she wasn’t angry. It was probably the accent, just about anyone could be intimidating if they sported a thick accent like hers, at least the Miltank thought so.” ‘ow ‘bout yous? I’ve seen plenty’a Pokemon come n’ go ‘round ‘ere, ya seem like a fresh new face t’ me,”she asked, figuring that she’d get to know a little more about her new acquaintance in the meantime. Kyra was thankful that she had acted in the nick of time as she felt the Absol’s strike slam into her neck, instead of her head which she assumed had been his original target. Still, that Megahorn certainly hurt a bit more than it should have, it could’ve very well chipped through her armor if it had been any stronger. Something about this Absol seemed different, no Absol she had fought before had been anywhere near as strong as this one. But there was something about Ezio that just seemed… unnatural, though how or why, she couldn’t put her claw on it… She smirked as she heard his frustrated snarl, and immediately took the chance to try to throw him off as she launched herself into a somersaulting roll. She knew that with how smart he was, he would know better than to stay where he was on her back or else he’d risk getting crushed underneath her armored hide. Sure enough, the Absol leapt off of her, sending himself backwards as he prepared to charge at her again. Kyra moved to stand herself up and prepare for whatever he was going to throw at her, but their battle was quickly interrupted as a troop of Pokemon Rangers noticed that the Absol they had tied up was now on the loose. Reacting quickly to their leader’s orders, the Rangers sent their stylist tops which began to circle around Ezio as they attempted to capture him. However, the leader seemed quite shaken by the readings he was getting, one of the Rangers commenting in a panicked voice about the unnatural nature of the Absol’s aggressiveness. Ezio lashed out at the Rangers, knocking their stylists away one by one. Kyra narrowed her eyes at him as he grinned wildly at her, saying that he would deal with her later before dashing off towards the deeper parts of the Daycare with the Rangers in hot pursuit. She was tempted to go and find Belle and the Cyndaquil, who had thankfully gone off elsewhere while the Haxorus had kept the Absol distracted. Still, something told her that the Rangers might need some help, especially given that they hadn’t anticipated how strong Ezio was… She couldn’t help but wonder how he’d been captured before. Even so, it was clear that the Absol was a threatening presence as long as he was here in the Daycare, he needed to be ousted somehow… Turning her head in the direction Ezio and the Rangers had gone off in, she moved to follow after them as quick as she was able to go. She heard voices from nearby, and glanced over to see a rather odd trio consisting of a Skitty, Trubbish, and Psyduck who seemed to be charging in the same direction. What on earth were they thinking? Ezio was clearly a very dangerous Pokemon, and he was not one to be trifled with unless they were either capable of fighting him or completely crazy. She had half a mind to warn them off, tell them to not get involved or else they could risk getting brutally maimed or killed… But at the same time, she felt that perhaps some aid wouldn’t be all that bad. Even if Ezio was strong and fast, he likely wouldn’t stand a chance against multiple opponents, right? Pushing those thoughts aside for later, Kyra kept running in the direction she’d seen Ezio and his pursuers go off in, she’d be damned if she let that Absol escape and continue to wreak havoc in the Daycare Center as it stood. Ampere breathed a soft sigh of relief, feeling a bit safer now that she was certain that no one was chasing her. Now what to do… She wasn’t much for socializing, her inability to control her static tended to scare off most other Pokemon anyways. Maybe she shouldn’t even bother with trying to make friends, no one ever stuck around long enough for a relationship like that to happen. Well, apart from Irene… she really missed the old woman even though she hadn’t spent all that much time away from her. Irene was the only one who had been willing to try to help her with her problem, the woman had never once given up on Amp no matter how many times the Electrike accidentally shocked her… She had come to love Irene in the time she’d known her, the old woman was incredibly kind and charitable to all within her company. She was quite scary whenever she got angry… but she had never once raised a hand against Ampere. The Electrike moved towards a small pond she had caught sight of while she had been looking around, gently seating herself on the shore, leaning in to take a few sips of the clear water that rippled ever so gently with the breeze. She stared forlornly at her distorting reflection on the water’s surface, sighing softly to herself. Amp hoped that her new trainer would come for her soon, or that Irene would take her back out of here and take care of her as she always did… She didn’t know what she could do now, she discouraged herself from getting within too close proximity of other Pokemon, as her electricity tended to be more erratic whenever she was nervous or scared, so socializing was definitely out of the question. She wouldn’t even know what to say or do anyways, conversation had never been one of her strong points and she wouldn’t even dare approach another Pokemon alone, given her naturally timid nature… Closing her eyes, Ampere gently lay herself down, the tips of her paws just barely in the water as she began to softly sing to herself.” I’m not saying, that I felt like you cared… I’m not saying, that I want to go back…”she serenaded quietly, recalling a song that she had heard from a long while ago,” The salty seas behind the eye… And it’s the tears, that come and make me cry… The falling leaf that never tries, to hold onto what keeps it alive…”Singing had always been her go-to for whenever she felt sad, troubled, or lonely, and she had always felt a certain… emotional attachment to music, as if she could relate to it more than she could to other Pokemon or most other people for that matter. It had been the only friend she’d had that had never left her for as long as she remembered, she supposed, in a certain sense.】☆ ☆
