Natalia knew her arguments weren't making much sense, but thankfully Aiden didn't press the matter, which, honestly gave Natalia a bit of relief. He let her pay for her damages, apologizing to the clerk on the way out for all the trouble, but Natalia didn't stick around for the rest of the conversation, instead making her way out of the store with her wheelchair in tow as the clerk cheerily replied, something about how accidents always happened. Natalia waited, not so patiently for Aiden to come out with her, and when he did, he suggested that they just head back to the pokemon center and see about getting an early release from Nurse Joy since she could walk fine. To be honest though, fine wasn't really the right word. She could walk, certainly, but not very well. Not yet anyways. She still limped, she still probably couldn't run, she couldn't move too quickly otherwise what happened in the gift shop would happen again, but it was good enough, especially with help. Besides, she wasn't going to try and talk him out of it, especially since she was the one who'd insisted she could walk just fine. She nodded in agreement, and a thoughtful expression crossed her face as she debated his question of her leg. "Um... Well it still aches, and if I put too much pressure on it quickly it hurts, but it's getting better the more I walk around. Maybe we should get the medication just in case...?" Natalia suggested.
Little did she know Aiden was thinking about the same thing. They made their way to the pokemon center, now with a plan of action in mind, and as Nurse Joy saw them walk in, she practically jumped when she noticed that Natalia was walking. "F-fey! What are you doing out of your chair?! I told you not to go pushing yourself...." Natalia gave a sheepish, apologetic smile"R-really, it's okay Nurse Joy, I'm not pushing myself, honest. I feel just fine, in fact, I feel even better with every step I take. Grant it, I do probably need some pain medication but..." She hesitated. "I was hoping you might give me an early release. P-please...." Natalia pleaded.
Nurse Joy debated it a bit, but then sighed. "Well.... I suppose if you really do feel like you can walk alright. Here, I'll take the wheelchair and write you up the medication." The nurse nodded, coming around the counter to take the wheelchair away, though that was partially a test to see if Natalia wasn't secretly using it to support her weight. Admittedly, Natalia was, she didn't need it, but it was certainly nice to have. If it meant her freedom though, Natalia would gladly give it up. She let go, standing up just fine as Nurse Joy watched her carefully and wheeled the chair away. "Okay, Aiden could you stay and wait with Nurse Joy for my medicine? I'm going to go get Aria and Nyomii." She nodded, walking down the hall and towards the Cafeteria, refusing to allow herself to limp until she was out of the Nurse's line of sight. Nurse Joy glanced to Aiden. "I'm... Not entirely sure how much of what she says is true, but technically I can't force her to stay and take treatment unless her life is in danger. If she wants an early, I have to let her go." Clearly she wasn't comfortable with this though. "Here's her medication, make sure she takes it twice a day, once with breakfast, once with dinner, and do try to watch her and help her walk if she starts struggling. She does need to walk around to get her strength back in that leg, but..." She sighed. Perhaps she was just being overly concerned.
Natalia entered the Cafeteria and fairly quickly found Nyomii and Aria. "Alright you two, I've got an early release, so we're heading off towards Azalea Town~" Natalia smiled, though Nyomii nearly spat out her milk when she saw Natalia up, about, and walking. "N-Natalia?! What's this about a release?" Nyomii asked, shocked. The news had all come so fast and unexpectedly, and the Espeon glanced over to River, who was still working on her bowl of milk. "W-well I wasn't expecting you to get out early, Aria and I are watching over this Riolu for October while she's at her gym battle..." Natalia blinked in surprise, looking between River, Nyomii, and Aria. "Well..... Perhaps Nurse Joy can watch her...?" Natalia suggested. Nyomii debated it, seeming hesitant, but Natalia wanted to leave badly, the Espeon could tell, and Nyomii couldn't just stay here with River while her trainer left town, nor should they take River with them far away from October. Nyomii looked to Aria for some clarity, a concerned expression on her face, for she felt very conflicted.

✦ ✦Aiden was still rather skeptical about Fey’s arguments, but he decided that it was best to not push it as they made their way over towards the counter. He watched and waited patiently as she paid the clerk about four-hundred dollars to cover for the damages, apologizing for all of the trouble as they made their way outside. Thankfully the clerk didn’t seem at all angry or annoyed, dismissing it as she said that accidents happen and the Valentine’s Day stuff was going to be taken off the shelves anyways by the end of the day. Smiling and waving goodbye to her, Aiden made his way outside with Thalia in tow where Fey awaited them. He supposed that if Fey thought she was fine enough to walk on her own, then perhaps they could convince Nurse Joy to release her early as he spoke up about the matter at hand and she gave a nod of agreement. Of course, considering that her leg hadn’t fully recovered yet, it would likely be another day or two before she was capable of performing more strenuous activities like running or jumping… Still, as long as she didn’t overexert herself too much, then perhaps she’d be fine until them. His eyes trailed down towards her feet, asking how her leg felt and if it was sore or anything. There was still the option of getting some pain medication before they left, of course, but Aiden wanted to make sure if they would need it or not. Fey seemed thoughtful for a moment, before saying that it still ached quite a bit, and it hurt more if she tried to put a lot of pressure on it quickly. Of course, that was to be expected, considering that her leg had yet to full heal… He nodded as she went on to say that the more she walked around on it, the pain seemed to go away gradually, suggesting that they get the medication just in case. ” That would be our best bet, better to be safe than sorry,” Aiden agreed with a nod, walking along with her towards the Center as she wheeled her chair along. He couldn’t even begin to imagine Nurse Joy’s reaction when they walked in through the door and she saw Fey was now up and walking. Still, now that they had formulated a plan of action, it was time to put it to the test. Entering the Pokemon Center, Nurse Joy practically jumped about a foot in the air when she noticed that Fey was no longer in her chair. The nurse asked why she was out of her chair, since she had told the girl before to not go pushing herself until she felt better. Fey reassured the nurse that she was just fine now, and that she actually felt better while she was up and moving around herself. Of course, there was the fact that she might need some pain medication until her leg had fully healed, but she pleaded with Nurse Joy to grant her an early release. Aiden gave the nurse a small smile as she seemed to debate it, before agreeing that she’d release Fey early if she really did feel that she could walk on her own. He stood back a bit as the nurse came around the counter, taking the wheelchair off of Fey’s hands, though he could see that Nurse Joy seemed wary as she kept a careful watch on the girl the whole time. Once Nurse Joy had taken care of the wheelchair, Aiden glanced towards Fey as she asked him to wait with Nurse Joy to get her medicine while she fetched Aria and Nyomii. ” Sure thing~ I’ll be here,” he responded with a warm smile and a nod as she started making her way down the hall to the cafeteria. With that said, he turned his attention towards Nurse Joy, nodding slowly as she spoke up, saying that she wasn’t entirely certain of how much of Fey’s statements were true. It was clear that the nurse wasn’t quite comfortable with this, but she stated that she couldn’t force Fey to stay here unless her life was truly in danger, and that she’d have to let her go if she wanted an early release. Aiden accepted the small amber-colored bottle from her as she handed it to him, instructing him to ensure that Fey took her pills twice a day at breakfast and dinner, and to keep a close eye on her and aid her with walking if she started to struggle. He nodded as she went on to say that Fey did need to walk around to regain strength in her injured leg, but it was clear that the nurse was quite concerned for the girl’s well-being. ” I wouldn’t worry too much about it, Nurse Joy, I promise to take good care of her until she’s recovered fully,” he assured her with a soft smile, tucking the pills away into the pocket of his coat for safe-keeping, ” I’m sure she’ll be fine as long as she doesn’t overexert herself with strenuous activity. Between Aria and I, Fey’s in good hands~” Nurse Joy gave a faint smile at that, nodding in agreement.” That is true… I’m trusting you to watch out for her until then,”she responded, sighing softly,” I hope the both of you stay safe on your way to Azalea in the meantime.” In the cafeteria, Aria had just polished off the last of her berries when Fey entered, announcing to them that she had managed to get an early release and they were preparing to head to Azalea. Everything was happening so quickly… Her eyes immediately darted over towards River, the Riolu was still working on her bowl of milk. Were they really going to leave for Azalea now? As in right now? The Delphox could sense how badly Fey wanted to leave here, she couldn’t blame the girl since they had been staying in Violet City for almost a week while she recovered. But at the same time, there was the question of what was to be done with River, since October had entrusted them with her care until she was finished with her Gym challenge. Nyomii spoke up and explained their situation, since they hadn’t expected for Fey to actually be released early and they were watching over October’s Riolu for her. Fey seemed surprised by this, though she was quick to offer a suggestion that perhaps Nurse Joy could watch over her. A thoughtful look crossed Aria’s face at this, debating over the options they had in front of them. She knew that Fey couldn’t wait any longer to get out and start heading for Azalea, and Aiden was likely thinking the same as well. Even so, it wasn’t like they could just stay behind to watch River while their trainers went on ahead, and they certainly couldn’t take River with them since it was doubtful that she wanted to be too far away from October… Nyomii seemed just as conflicted as Aria did, the Delphox catching the Espeon’s concerned gaze as the other Psychic-type looked towards her for a clear answer.” At this rate, leaving her in Nurse Joy’s care is the best option we have,”Aria spoke up, giving a soft sigh as she looked towards River, then to Nyomii and Fey,” From my experience in being under Nurse Joy’s care for many years past, I’d trust no one else but her to watch over River until October can come to retrieve her.”She really felt bad that they would have to leave River behind while they ventured ahead to Azalea with their trainers, but it seemed that they didn’t have much of a choice in the matter. She glanced towards the Riolu again, giving her a small, sad smile.” I’m really sorry, sweetie, but it appears that Mimi and I have to leave now… We would love to stay and take care of you, but I’m afraid that's not an option for us,”she said softly with a slow nod,” It might be some time before October finishes up with her battle, so Nurse Joy will be taking care of you in our absence. "ok"River nodded to her head a little sad that they had to go. She didn't want them to but their trainers were calling. She placed the bowl down not hungry anymore. October was coming back right? She'd get to meet them again right? The riolu's chest felt a little tight and her tummy was hurting.
October was surprised that the had manage to paralyze the pidgey. She wasted no time to sent call on the next attack. "Kiru, thunder one more time" The pichu rushed again summoning a strong bolt of lightning at the bird type. (( Kiru used thunder x2 Pidgey fainted))

Falkner knew his pokemon was done for the moment that Pichu had let loose that devastating Thunder attack, but he'd wanted to at least get another hit in. Unfortunately the Pidgey's Paralysis prevented that, and Falkner was forced to watch helplessly as another electric bolt came crashing down, finishing off the little bird. "You did your best Pidgey, return." Falkner nodded, returning the little bird to it's pokeball. "Come on out Pidgeotto!" The gym leader called out, summoning his ace. This was it, hopefully he could take out the Pichu before it finished his Pidgeotto off too, then maybe the fight would turn in his favor. "Tackle it, quickly!" Falkner commanded, and the large bird slammed into the tiny electric mouse. Unfortunately in doing so, Kiru's Static ability paralyzed the Pidgeotto too. "N-not again!!" Falkner grimaced. Today was just not his lucky day.

Better safe than sorry.... Natalia gave a sad chuckle at the thought. That had sort of become her mantra over the years hadn't it...? Always cautious, always watching, always a little bit more paranoid than she should be, always having her guard up so she wouldn't get hurt. Natalia shifted uncomfortably and quickly made her way to the pokemon center. Once she had convinced Nurse Joy that she was really okay to be released, she thanked the woman and had Aiden take care of her medication while she went and grabbed Aria and Nyomii, since Gio had tipped them off earlier that he'd seen them headed towards the cafeteria. With Natalia gone for the moment, Nurse Joy was able to fully express her concern to Aiden over Natalia, but the boy quickly diminished her worries, promising to take good care of the girl until she'd recovered fully. Not to mention they'd have Aria too. Nurse Joy trusted Aria with all of her heart, and knowing the Delphox, she'd be sure to keep just as good of an eye on Natalia as Aiden would. With that in mind, Nurse Joy finally seemed to relax again, wishing them well on their journey and delivering the necessary pain medication for Natalia to Aiden, giving a bit of instruction on how it should be administered so he could pass the information along to Natalia. If all else failed, Aria could probably remind them should Aiden happen to forget.
Natalia on the other hand, was faced with a new problem as Nyomii and Aria seemed reluctant to leave due to babysitting River, October's Riolu. It seemed her suggestion of leaving the Riolu with Nurse Joy was an acceptable solution, though it was just acceptable, not preferred. Natalia did feel a bit bad, knowing Nyomii and Aria's motherly natures. Leaving their "child" behind just wouldn't sit well with them no matter how good the circumstances. Even the Riolu seemed a bit sad to see them go, and guilt was welling up in Natalia too. As Aria explained the situation to River, Nyomii nodded along in agreement. "Yes absolutely. Nurse Joy will take very good care of you until October gets back. She has the biggest heart in all of the Pokeverse~" Nyomii insisted. River seemed to reluctantly accept that they were having to leave her behind, leaving her unfinished bowl of milk on the ground as she made to leave with them to go find Nurse Joy. However, before they left, Natalia knelt down towards the Riolu slowly so that she wouldn't agitate her leg, and gave a small, gentle smile. "H-hey.... Don't look so glum okay...? Nurse Joy is a great caretaker. I would know, she's been taking care of me for a week." She chuckled. "October won't be long now, I know that she's going to do great at her gym battle, and she'll be back faster than a hungry Munchlax eats an apple, so you'll see Nyomii and Aria again real soon okay?" Natalia insisted. Really if the Riolu felt any resentment, it should be with her. She was the one who was too paranoid to stay in one place for long, and her choices in the past made her that way, so she really had no one to blame but herself. "I'm going to pick you up now so we can get you to Nurse Joy, o-okay...?" Natalia said gently, reaching out slowly so she wouldn't scare the Riolu off. She got the feeling that River was skittish, and had a reason to be. "Let her dear, no need to be afraid. This is my trainer, and she's very nice." Nyomii insisted, just in case River had any reservations. Natalia scooped the Riolu up gently and Nyomii helped her trainer stand with a bit of psychic support, and together, the three of them made their way out of the cafeteria to meet with Aiden and Nurse Joy. "Okay, I think we're all set.... But Nurse Joy, Aria, Nyomii and I wanted to request that you watch over this Riolu for a bit until October gets back from her gym battle." Natalia insisted. "Oh absolutely! Look at this little darling~ Hello sweetie, I'm Nurse Joy, it's nice to meet you~" The nurse crooned as Natalia set River on the counter, obviously taken with the cute little Riolu.
With that settled, Natalia turned to Aiden and smiled. "Ready?" She asked curiously. Nyomii made her way over to the counter which River was on, and standing on her hind legs, she placed her paws on top of the counter for balance and nuzzled River's cheek. "Now be a good girl for Nurse Joy and wait for October. We'll see you again soon sweetie~" Nyomii smiled, stepping back down and moving to Natalia's side. It seemed that they were all set to go now. Natalia gave her goodbyes to Nurse Joy and Gio, waiting for Aria and Aiden at the door before heading out together towards Union Cave.

Violet City, a fair sized city that held a gym and a tower, to the south was a peculiar set of ruins. He wasn't here to explore ruins however he wanted to gain as much power as he could as quickly as he could. Knowing full well that taking down gym leaders was the quickest way to do this he set his sights towards Falkner. A Flying typed trainer who would be handily crushed by King's Pokemon.

The Masked man waltzed into the city with his usual flair. As he entered Violet he felt as if something was amiss, like there were trainers here with equal potential as his own. Not one to let a challenge escape his grasp he set out to search for these trainers. Sure that they would stand out as much as he did he began to slow his pace through town, scouting the area for potential trainer interaction greater than scrubs and Galatic Grunts.
Perhaps he would find someone here worthy of his time and effort.

Frustrated at the amount of effort he was putting in to find this trainer King realized that he must have just missed them. There was a possibility that there were never any rare trainers here at all and he was just using an odd hunch that didn't make much sense to anyone. Either way, his attempt at entering the Violet City was barred by a current battle taking place there, preventing him from challenging the cities leader. If there were any other eager power hungry trainers the most likely option they would pursue would be heading towards the next gym, in Azalea town.
King wasn't about to slowed down by his thoughts, spinning around his cape flared out. Making his way toward the Union Cave, and then Azalea town he was going to pursue these mysterious trainers. If anything he would at least get to challenge the leader there. He was itching for a good battle and was miffed by his missed chance at fighting Falkner.

✦ ✦Aiden’s gaze trailed back towards the path ahead, though he heard Fey’s sad chuckle at his statement about how it was better to be safe than sorry. In retrospect, it probably was a better idea to not stay in one place for too long, and they’d been here in Violet for almost a week ever since coming back from that ball. Hell, some small part of him deep down inside still felt that Team Void was after him in one way or another. If they’d caught on to the fact that the assassin they had sent after him those months back had not killed him off as intended, then he had no doubts that they’d surely send someone else to finish what she had started… Still, he tried to not dwell on such thoughts for long as they entered the Pokemon Center and ran into Nurse Joy, who seemed overwhelmingly shocked that Fey was up and walking on her own now. It took a bit of convincing, but Nurse Joy agreed in the end that she’d grant Fey an early release. With that taken care of, Aiden gladly waited back in the lobby to get Fey’s medication while she went off to the cafeteria to fetch Aria and Nyomii. After Fey had left the room, Aiden listened as Nurse Joy voiced her concerns for the girl while she handed him the painkillers, nodding at her instructions of how and when they should be taken. He could understand the nurse’s concern, but he was quick to cast her worries away by promising to take good care of Fey until she recovered, and brought up the fact that Aria would be with them too. Knowing the Delphox’s medical knowledge, Nurse Joy surely had nothing to worry about since she trusted Aria with all her heart. Aiden smiled as the nurse eased up, nodding to her as she wished them luck on their journey to Azalea. ” Thank you, your hospitality is much appreciated for our long stay here~ We’ll see about stopping by to visit here sometime in the future, I’m sure Aria would love that,” he suggested, knowing that the Delphox would appreciate being able to see Nurse Joy every once in a while. In the cafeteria, Aria and Nyomii were faced with a new problem at hand after Fey had managed to get an early release from the Center. They had been entrusted to take care of River by October until she came back from her Gym battle, and they were both reluctant to leave her due to their motherly natures. Fey suggested that they give River over to Nurse Joy, and though it was an acceptable option, it wasn’t the option that was preferred. Still, it wasn’t like they could simply take River with them, knowing that October would be worried sick when she couldn’t find the Riolu, but they couldn’t stay here with her either while their trainers went on ahead… Aria was at a loss, but she ultimately agreed to leaving River in Nurse Joy’s care. After her many years spent with the nurse, the Delphox trusted no one else but her with taking care of the Riolu until October was finished with her Gym battle. With a heavy heart and a sad smile, Aria explained the situation to River, listening as Nyomii put in her own two cents in agreement. Knowing that she’d be safe in Nurse Joy’s care made the Delphox feel a bit better, though she could just feel her heart ache as River accepted that they had to leave, albeit reluctantly. Poor dear… Aria felt as though she would tear up at any moment just from seeing the saddened look on River’s face, the Riolu setting down her unfinished bowl of milk, no longer hungry. She could sense the flashes of thoughts crossing the little Aura Pokemon’s mind, wondering if October would really come back for her and if she’d get to see the Delphox and Espeon again. Aria smiled as Fey knelt down, offering River a gentle smile and comforting words about how Nurse Joy was a great caretaker and that October would be finished with her Gym battle soon and be on her way back.” Indeed, you have nothing to worry about, sweetie. October will be back lickety-split before you know it, and I know she’ll catch up with us soon enough,”she soothed with a gentle smile,” We’ll see each other soon enough, alright? This won’t be the last you’ll see of Mimi and I, trust us~”She looked back towards Fey as she reached out carefully towards River, saying that she was going to pick her up now so they could take her to Nurse Joy. Knowing how nervous River was around strangers, Aria was concerned about if she would have any objections to Fey picking her up. Nyomii pitched in, assuring that River had nothing to be afraid of, Fey was her trainer and she was quite good with Pokemon.” There is nothing to fear, sweetie, Mimi and I will be close by the entire time~ I know Fey well enough to understand how good she is with Pokemon, you need not be scared of her,”the Delphox pitched in with a smile, watching as Fey gently scooped River up into her arms. With Nyomii helping to support the girl, since Aria could see that she was still hobbling quite a bit when she walked, they exited the cafeteria and made their way towards the lobby. Aiden glanced over to see Fey coming back their way with Aria and Nyomii at her side, as well as holding a small Riolu in her arms. Approaching them, Fey said that they were pretty much ready to go, but wanted to request Nurse Joy on her as well as on Aria and Nyomii’s behalf that she watch over the Riolu until October came back. Aiden smiled warmly as Nurse Joy gladly accepted the request, Fey setting River down onto the counter while the pink-haired nurse fawned over the Riolu. As the Espeon went over to stand by Fey’s side, the Delphox smiled as she gently patted River’s head.” Nurse Joy will take excellent care of you until October returns~ We’ll see each other soon enough, dearie, we’ll be missing you until then,”she said softly, planting a motherly kiss on the Riolu’s forehead as a last parting gesture. Aria then turned her attention to Nurse Joy, reaching over the counter and pulling the nurse into a hug.” You didn’t think I was leaving without a proper goodbye, did you?”the Delphox asked with a soft chuckle, nuzzling Nurse Joy’s cheek lightly,” There are no words I could possibly say to thank you for all the years you spent taking caring for and training me… I really am indebted to you for everything you’ve done for me, Nurse Joy, I hope to come back and visit you sometime in the near future…”Nurse Joy gave a warm smile, wrapping her arms around the Delphox and holding her close, trying her hardest to not tear up in the heat of the moment. It was never easy having to say goodbye to a friend that she’d come to know and love for many years, but she felt some degree of comfort in knowing that Aria would be happy traveling with Aiden, and that she’d come back to visit whenever the occasion provided an opportunity. ” Your presence will be dearly missed here, Aria… You’re the best friend that I’ve had the pleasure of meeting for a long while now, and I wish you the best of luck on your travels with these fine young trainers,”the nurse said with a soft, sad smile,” Just remember that if you can ever come back, the Violet City Pokemon Center will always welcome you with open arms and open hearts~”The Delphox smiled as they separated then, nodding towards Nurse Joy.” I’ll always remember… Farewell, Nurse Joy, take good care of River for Mimi and I,”Aria returned, turning to walk over to Aiden and stand next to him. The blonde-haired boy gave her a soft smile, before nodding towards Fey and Nyomii. ” Well, let’s head out then, hopefully we can get through Union Cave and reach Azalea before it gets dark,” he suggested, turning as they moved to head out the door. However, he caught a glimpse of Gio sitting nearby, and he smiled and waved to the boy. ” Hey Gio! Fey and I are heading out to go to Azalea, are you coming with us?” he asked, figuring that the boy had been patient enough to wait for them all this time. It would only be polite to let him know where they were going and offer him to come along if he wanted. Gio grinned as he waved back at them, shaking his head in response to Aiden’s question.” Thanks for the offer, but I’m gonna wait for October to finish up with her Gym battle if you don’t mind,”the boy responded with a nod,” Hopefully she won’t take long, so we’ll catch up with you guys soon enough, you can count on it! And give me a call sometime if we haven’t reached Azalea by the time you both beat Bugsy, alright?” Aiden nodded in understanding, giving Gio a good-natured smile in return. He didn’t want them to leave the city while October was still battling Falkner, but as long as Gio was here, she wouldn’t be too far behind them. Besides, their friends could always catch up to them in Azalea, it wasn’t like they were going to be thousands of miles away from each other. ” Sure thing~ Don’t wait too long though!” the blonde responded with a chuckle, ” We’ll catch you later, Gio~ Oh, and tell October that we’re sorry we couldn’t wait any longer when she comes back, okay?” Gio nodded, flashing them a grin and giving a two-fingered salute.” Yeah, I’ll be sure to! Good luck you two, see ya later!”he said, waving to them as they approached the door. Aiden smiled and waved back, his Delphox following suit as she flashed a grin towards Ario before their company exited the front door of the Center, Aria walking next to him and Thalia in his arms. River was lifted up, she didn't struggle despite being afraid, it was Nyomii's trainer after all. She was taken to another room where more people where waiting. When she was set down her ears flatten a little at Nurse Joy's greeting, she gave a small smile and nod at her. But she was more focused on the two pokemon she was familiar with. Nuzzling the espeon back. "I-I will, b-be safe too.." She watched her leave, a pat on her head got her attention as Aria came to say goodbye as well. The Delphox kissed her forehead, much like she felt a mom would do, it reassured her. As they got further and further away the Riolu got teary eyed and called out." P-promise! we'll meet again! o-ok?!" She sniffled. "bye Aria, bye Nyomii"
October couldn't believe they had knocked out pidgey and even more that Pidgeotto had gotten paralyzed, pidgeotto looked really strong too. Kiru called and looked over at her he looked pretty proud of himself to but was trying to tell her that this was time for action they hadn't won yet. "Kiru quick attack again" The pichu let out another thunder this time moving closer. (( Kiru used thunder X2 -220 pigeotto at 120 hp))

If they kept taking hits like this, there was no way they had a chance of winning. "Pidgeotto, use Roost!" Falkner commanded, hoping they could shed their type disadvantage long enough to turn the tables, but that depended on whether or not they could overcome the Paralysis. It seemed Pidgeotto was able to manage Roosting in its condition at least, landing on the ground and glowing with a healing energy. Falkner smiled, maybe they had a chance after all. "Nice job Pidgeotto! Keep it up!" Falkner called encouragingly.

"woah I didn't know pidgeotto could do that!" October looked over at Kiru he seemed to be getting a little tired from using the same move. "Kiru please hang in there use sweet kiss!" Kiru scurried over to the glowing flying type and cutely blinked up at his opponent. he hops up planting a glowing kiss on the bird pokemons cheek. (( kiru uses sweet kiss, pidgeotto is confused))

Falkner had been glad he'd gained back some of the lost health, because this round electric type moves wouldn't be super effective, however rather than going through and using Thunder again, October switched up her tactics, having Kiru Sweet Kiss Pidgeotto to confuse it, and confuse it he did. "Pidgeotto, use Roost again!" Falkner insisted, and the great bird took to the air once again, so it seemed at least he was able to fly. Moving in spite of paralysis aside, they still had a new hurdle to jump over now, Pidgeotto was in the air, sure, but he was tottering back and forth dangerously, and in his attempt to Roost, he failed and crashed into the glass floor. As Falkner had promised October earlier however, the Glass didn't so much as tremble at the blow, still holding perfectly strong and stable.
