Alex continued moving through Mt. Moon, carefully taking his time so that he wouldn't take a wrong turn. Eevee stayed perched in her usual spot on her trainers shoulder, not too worried about them getting lost. In the distance he could hear fluttering of wings and the sound of rocks shifting. These noises were probably caused by pokemon, but they seemed to be keeping to themselves for the most part. Eventually he might run into a wild pokemon, but most of them in the mountain would be easily taken care of by water pokemon. They were his specialty, so it didn't bother him too much to hear those noises, he actually was interested to see which pokemon would show itself first. The trip through Mt. Moon was uneventful so far.

Alex continued through the mountain at a safe pace, not thinking it would be the best time to sprint to the next location. It was going to take him a little longer, but that was alright with him, it was better to be safe than sorry. After more walking, Eevee seemed to perk up and her ears twitched a little bit. She had better hearing than a human, so that wasn't too surprising. Alex came to a stop and looked toward Eevee as she looked ahead, she could hear the sound of a wild pokemon moving straight for them. "A pokemon?" He asked, but by that time he could hear the sound of movement just out of sight heading toward them. "I wonder what it'll be, probably a rock type." Eevee had figured the same thing as Alex, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Her eyesight was better than her trainer as well as a slight grin appeared on her face.["I wouldn't be so sure, this should be interesting."]Alex took a slight step back as seeing Eevee's scary grin and had a bad feeling about this pokemon as it neared.

Alex knew right away that Eevee wasn't going to be giving him any moral support, so despite not wanting to, he was going to face his fears. "Why a bug pokemon of all things? It's a mountain, it should have rock types." Alex complained before Eevee snickered and pushed her paw against his cheek, moving his head forward to see that a Paras had emerged. He nearly jumped off the ground, but instead backed away quickly to a safe distance. "Jeez, it's a big bug type pokemon." Alex complained as he reached for a pokeball on his belt. His hand was shaking as he did so, thinking a pokemon similar in dimensions to the Eevee on his shoulder was giant. Eevee watched on, amused at her trainer being so fearful of something her size. She watched on and waited to see what Alex would do. Alex had finally managed to collect himself long enough to toss a pokeball and send out his Skarmory. "N-Not this time Eevee... being scared of them, at least I know what they're weak against. Skarmory, use Air Cutter on that creature." The water pokemon trainer said while pointing toward the wild Paras. Skarmory looked around at her surroundings, a cave? Her attention turned toward Alex and then over toward the Paras.["That sounds easy enough."]Skarmory seemed to understand the situation as she prepared to attack. Skarmory opened her light gold coloured wings revealing her green feathers and flapped them toward the wild Paras a few times. Suddenly she released multiple S-shaped blue energy disks toward the pokemon. Paras was hit a few times by these disks and didn't stand a chance. The weakness was just too great as the pokemon was sent flying back down the tunnel. Alex was happy about this, but his fear had already set in. Seeing one bug always meant there could be more. Was there another one watching? Would it be just as creepy and scary? He didn't want to stick around very long to find out. "G-Great job, Skarmory... now lets get out of this mountain already."

His attention turned toward Skarmory as he thought about putting her back in the pokeball. That thought quickly faded as he just saw what she could do against bug types, putting her pokeball back onto his belt made his plan clear. Alex was still shaking slightly at having to deal with that Paras. "I t-think it would be best... keeping you out..." He glanced toward Eevee and sighed knowing she wasn't being any help on purpose. "I just wanna get to Pewter City..." Alex said before moving forward and finding a different tunnel than where the Paras had come from. Eevee couldn't help, but snicker a bit at the whole situation.["At least he managed, trying to make him face his fears is harder than I thought."]Despite not speaking directly to Skarmory, Eevee had spoken loud enough for her to hear and understand. Skarmory followed along behind Alex, not wanting to stray too far as she heard Eevee's words.["Your methods are a little too forceful, but I don't mind helping him with his fear."]Skarmory replied as hopefully they wouldn't need to fight anymore bugs in the cave. Alex could hear the two pokemon speaking to each other, but his main goal was to leave as fast as possible. His fear was strong and this caused his walking pace to increase by quite a bit. Normally he'd be able to stay calm in any situation, but knowing there might be more bug type pokemon around made him paranoid and panicked.

Alex continued walking at a faster pace than he was used to. Usually, he wouldn't make silly mistakes while traversing an environment like Mt. Moon. This time it was different, he had been hearing noises in the distance the entire time, but since he fought a bug type, every sound could be another. Eevee let out a sigh as clearly this wasn't the best result for them finding a bug pokemon. It was clear that something bad might happen if Alex continued this way. He didn't seem to know where he was going, turning into tunnels based on where noises, that could be pokemon weren't heard. It was not the best strategy and quickly, the trio found itself in some old tunnels that hadn't appeared to be used in many decades.

Alex continued walking at his quickened pace through the mountain. The tunnels had gotten darker the further he went as he wasn't thinking clearly. Despite getting lost, he just wanted to avoid anymore bug pokemon if he could help it. Any kind of sound scared him into thinking one was about to show itself. Alex turned down another tunnel that seemed to be darker than the rest. He continued to rush and that's when his foot caught an uneven surface on the cave floor. "Whoa..." Alex's eyes opened wider as he fell to the ground, flat on his face. Eevee was prepared for this kind of accident happening as she jumped from her trainers shoulder and landed on the ground gracefully. This fall seemed to knock some sense back into Alex as he looked up at Eevee and laughed weakly. "Ouch... that wasn't any fun." Alex said with a sigh as he slowly sat up and looked around. Eevee let out her own sigh at seeing her trainer come back to his senses.["It was only a matter of time, but I think we're lost."]Alex didn't know what Eevee had said, but he had a feeling it was about the situation they were in now. Skarmory had stood nearby, wondering just what they'd do now to get back on track. She was about to say something, but a light was seen further down the tunnel. Skarmory wasn't sure what it was, but it was interesting to see in a darkened tunnel. Alex also noticed the light and blinked a few times. "W-What is that?"

This is my post for finding and then using the Lunar Wing to summon Cresselia, the battle will start on my next post when I get around to it. Don't want to forget to quote a mod this time, so I wanted to do so in this post just to be safe. lol Hopefully this works out, I think I managed the summoning the best way I could.
Alex Cross Water Pokemon Trainer
Eevee climbed back up to her perch on Alex's shoulder as he got up to his feet and moved toward the light. Skarmory was curious about the light and followed along with them. Heading toward the light shining, they found themselves in a fairly decent sized cavern with a clear view of the sky. Beams of light, varying in size shone down onto pristine ankle deep water. Alex hadn't expected a place like this inside Mt. Moon, it was beautiful and a place he found quite comforting. Was this the light he had seen earlier? At first it appeared that perhaps it was just the light coming in from overhead. His attention was drawn to the ground in front of his feet as what looked like a green and white, crescent-shaped wing. Suddenly, it began to shine brightly. Alex bent down slowly and while shielding his eyes, picked the wing up.
Alex found a Lunar Wing!
This was quite the unique item, Alex hadn't seen anything like it and really wondered what it was. Even though he didn't know what it was, it seemed to have activated and was used. The wing slowly began to disintegrate into small light particles. He watched on as the item fully dispersed into the particles that floating toward the middle of the cavern. Once more, a bright light began shining as Alex shielded his eyes again. The particles of light swirled around as the figure of a pokemon started to become visible, hovering above the water. The light slowly died down to reveal the Legendary pokemon, Cresselia. Alex's eyes widdened at the sight of seeing this legendary for the second time. "C-Cresselia... didn't think I'd ever see you again."
Cresselia Appeared!

Finally managed to figure out how to make this story sorta work. lol I am going to do the battle next post cause the sprites I'm using aren't working, so I at least wanted to get this done.
Alex Cross Water Pokemon Trainer
Alex looked on, shocked by what he had just witnessed. That wing somehow managed to summon the Legendary pokemon, Cresselia. He wasn't really sure what to think, but he never expected to see a Legendary again, let alone Cresselia once more. Alex was pleased to see the pokemon again as the first time they met was to help her deal with Darkrai. It was another Halloween that he didn't really want to remember, but meeting Cresselia after the fact was a part he couldn't forget. Either way, these were better circumstances to meet up again, though he wasn't quite sure how it happened. He hadn't planned on anything like this happening, if it hadn't been for fighting a bug pokemon, they never would have made it to the cavern. "Why are you here? I didn't expect to see you again, do you need my help again?" Alex had no problems helping others out, that was after all, the only time he'd met any Legendaries. Eevee wasn't sure what was going on, but she did remember the outcome of everything that happened. To her though, this whole thing felt odd, the fact that Cresselia showed up out of the blue after they got lost was strange. It seemed that Alex wasn't thinking the same way, so he could do whatever he wanted.["Whatever it is, I'll agree with the choice."] Eevee spoke with a slight sigh as there was no changing Alex's mind, no matter what the Legendary wanted. Skarmory didn't have anything more to add, but stayed close behind Alex, while watching on with great interest.
Cresselia opened her eyes and looked toward Alex. It almost felt as though she had expected him to be there. The Legendary had heard the trainers questions and also what Eevee had to say. It took a few of waiting for Cresselia to finally say something. Her words were sent directly to Alex's mind as well as his pokemon. "You made it to this cavern, deep inside Mt. Moon. I apologize for the way you were led here. As for needing help, that is not the case, I'm asking for something more selfish." Even though she was a Legendary pokemon, it didn't mean she couldn't want something for herself.
Alex blinked a few times, not really expecting to hear those words from Cresselia. It was strange to hear the apology, though now it appeared that everything that had happened, was supposed to have happened. There was no way he could be mad though, this was far too cool. "It's alright, now that I know the reason." He said with a weak laugh before continuing. "Even pokemon have the right to be selfish once in a while. Whatever it is, I'll try my best."
The psychic Legendary was glad to hear such a response, but she had kind of expected as much. With that out of the way, she spoke once more to their minds. "I was impressed by the way you handled yourself the last time we met. There were a lot of people with potential, but there is something that drew me toward you, Alex Cross. I wish to find out why that was the case. I know I'm being selfish asking this, but I want to help you on your journey, to figure out what it means to have a partner. Of course, you'll need to battle me first, if you can't win, then perhaps I was mistaken." Cresselia spoke with a hint of seriousness in her voice, it was clear that she had thought long and hard about this.
Alex was shocked by what he had heard, never in his wildest dreams did he think a Legendary pokemon would ask to join his team. Of course, it was never easy, he'd still need to catch Cresselia. Sure, it was selfish the way she had gone about things, but he was not against becoming friends with a Legendary pokemon. Alex couldn't help, but nod his head before speaking. "If this is what you want, then there is no possible way I can refuse. I will catch you, if that's the way you'll find out the answers. Get ready, I won't hold back. Skarmory, you're up." It didn't take Alex very long to decide on what to do as he accepted the challenge. Skarmory was a little surprised by what had happened, but she got focused and walked forward, her feet just touching the edge of the pristine water.["I'll try my best."]Skarmory said as she was prepared to battle as hard as she could. Alex was pleased, seeing that she was ready to help him battle, even a Legendary. Eevee on the other hand, jumped down to the ground after hearing everything that was going on. Her trainer was the type to do what he felt was right, even if it mean taking a selfish request from a Legendary. Either way, it would be interesting, showing a Legendary pokemon what it was like to travel around with a trainer.

I wanted to post the calculations since I knew it would be a short battle. I'll get the RP text up when I get the chance. Pretty sure I did the battle and stuff correctly, so yay, caught a Legendary.
Alex Cross Water Pokemon Trainer
Purple energy started to glow above Cresselia's head. It began to form into a crescent-like blade. Once it was completed, she sent the blade straight for Skarmory, hitting the shiny pokemon critically. Alex hadn't expected the attack to hit with such force and for his Skarmory to almost faint from a psychic type move. Skarmory had been knocked back and took a few moments to recover as it was clear that Alex just couldn't hold back. It wasn't too difficult to decide on what move he should counter with, dark type moves were strong against psychic types after all. Wanting to end this battle as soon as possible, he quickly called out to Skarmory. "Skarmory, use Dark Pulse." She knew what she needed to do now as Skarmory took a step toward Cresselia. Skarmory opened her wings wide as a ball of purple and black circles appeared in front of her beak. The circles were fired toward Cresselia in the form of a beam. The attack hit hard, very hard as Cresselia was knocked back. Dark Pulse was super effective and in one hit, the Legendary pokemon had been defeated. Cresselia, despite being beaten, had enough energy to speak to Alex's mind directly."..Very good, you showed me your strength... I will accept you as my trainer." Alex sighed in relief, glad that things had worked out in his favor. Hearing Cresselia's words, he knew that they'd grow close and one day, become friends. Alex took out a pokeball and tossed it at Cresselia. This time, there was no question as the Legendary had been caught. Alex walked through the ankle deep water, leaned over and picked up the pokeball. "I'll show you what it means to be a trainer and hopefully my friend." The water pokemon trainer placed Cresselia's pokeball into his bag, at the next pokemon center, he'd figure out what to do with his team.

Alex Cross Water Pokemon Trainer
Alex turned back to face his pokemon as they still stood where the cavern wasn't wet. His feet were soaked, but that didn't bother him since he had just caught a legendary pokemon. "You did a great job, Skarmory, you deserve a nice long rest." The shiny steel bird pokemon nodded at his words, glad to rest after a tough battle. Alex returned Skarmory to her pokeball and walked back to the entrance of the large cavern. "Now then, Eevee, lets get out of this mountain." His pokemon once again, climbed up to Alex's shoulder before replying.["I agree, though, that was a lot better than the first time we met her."]For a change, Eevee seemed to have enjoyed this turn of events, but she was ready to move on too. With that all sorted out, Alex walked back to the derelict tunnel, where he had stumbled from before finding Cresselia. "I can't wait to show her a pokemon battle with a trainer on her side." He spoke with an excited tone to his voice.

Now that things were squared away inside Mt. Moon, Alex just wanted to find his way to Pewter City. He didn't have the urge to run blindly from bug type pokemon, so it didn't take too long for the duo to get back on track. Of course, the idea of another bug pokemon appearing was on his mind, but maybe his luck was changing. After a few more minutes of walking, the cave became much brighter. That had to be a good sign that he was closing in on the exit. "Eevee, I think we might have just found it." Alex spoke happily to the small pokemon perched on his shoulder. She acknowledged him, by looking around, but didn't need to reply as her trainer continued on the way toward Pewter City. Both of them would be glad once they had a chance to relax at the pokemon center after the interesting trip through Mt. Moon.

Despite his bad luck when he had entered Mt. Moon, things appeared to have turned around. As Alex continued toward the exit, no wild pokemon showed up to slow him down. The cave had become brighter, the closer Pewter City got. After a few more minutes of walking, Alex finally stumbled across the exit to Mt. Moon. It was definitely a place he would remember for the rest of his life. The place where he had befriended a legendary pokemon, it would always be special. Alex paused for a moment and glanced toward Eevee, before looking behind them. With a slight grin, he nodded to his pokemon perched on his shoulder. It was time to go and hopefully make quick work of the first gym in Kanto. For some reason, he felt as though he should use Blastoise for the battle. He was a die hard water pokemon trainer after all and already knew holding back in a gym battle could lead to a crushing defeat. With that thought in his mind, he took his first steps outside of Mt. Moon and into Pewter City.

It wasn't long before the end of the cave was near, and Cyrus made a beeline for it. There wasn't really anything useful in this cave at the moment. However, Rita had found herself a bold natured Paras to battle, and jumped into the battle without warning. Of course, Cyrus didn't care to direct her or anything, and kept walking. Rita managed to take down the bug/grass type quickly with just two bites, and taking very little damage. After her victory, Cyrus threw a potion at her, which she healed herself up with as they left mt moon.
