Meiloyn v2 The Bengal Getting up and running again, Amanda stumbled back over to where Mei had fallen. She was in shock. She stopped and stared as Meiolyn, yes that's what she had said her name was, was losing her grip. {~{ Our greatest glory is not in never falling,
Mei turned and saw Cape staring at her. She shouted, "Don't just stand there! Help me! The root is starting to break!" The tear on the root began to rip wider.
But in rising every time we fall. }~} {~{ Confucius }~} Snapping out of it she layed down and stretched her arms out to Meiolyn. "I'm sorry," She stammered. "Grab ahold."

She shrieked softly, having her face smooshed into sand. So much going on... oh gawd, the terror of the screams..
She looked up, seeing the water washing up on the sandy shore. As she got up, she felt a sharp pain in her thigh. She reached into her pocket and pulled out quite a few shards of broken glass.... her glasses had been shattered. "s**t..." She pulled out the rest of the glass out as well as the bent up glasses rims, and set them on the shore. She felt her leg and pulled out a tiny peice of glass... nothing to worry about, thank heavens No blood, and no more pain. She was fine.
She stood again, looking towards where the final yell was. She was going to be brave...
She started in the general direction where she noticed a figure was stooping down over another figure that seemed to be half buried in sand.

Meiloyn grabbed onto Cape's arms and released the root as she was pulled out. She took sharp, quick breaths. "Thanks, Cape. Now we're square."

Meiloyn said, "Nice to meet you, Amanda. My name is MeiLOYN," emphasizing the end. "But if you have a hard time saying that you can call me Mei or Ms. Saga."
She turned to the girl with the broken glasses. "If you can't see at all without them, I'll let you borrow mine. All I have to do is squint a little."

No Sex For You She stopped, her hands at her sides as she stayed a decent distance from them.

She turned to Mei, a serious look clouding her face as she opened her empty looking eyes all the way.
"No thank you. I can see fine." She then smiled happily, titling her head slightly and pressing a hand to her hat to keep it from falling off.
She then turned to Amanda, still smiling. "It's ok, really. It probvably hurt you more then it did me when you tripped on me." She chuckles softly.

Meiloyn laughed a little at all of the screaming, but she stopped when she remembered that the screaming won't be over. There would be two screams each night, and Mei herself would have voted on one of them. She began to feel bad again.

"The girl you were following said something about not trusting people with red clothing. I assumed that one of the cannibals may be wearing red, and I also want to say that I am not one of them." She followed her back to the fire, eager to share marshmellows with her new friends.

Kei, taking on the innocence of a child, follows after Amanda. She didn't want to be alone anymore. She didn't want to be alone when she died on this hellish island.
She looked at Mei, still smiling her kiddish grin.

Amanda leads Kei back to the fire, which wasn't much more than a smoulder now. She began placing the piled up sticks on the fire.
