Jet's Departure
Unfortunately, Lieutenant Jet has decided to end his time with us. He was a great rper, a great moderator and a great friend but as much as I try to convince myself that it is worth trying to convince him otherwise, well, it just doesn't seem like the right thing to do.
Now, I'm going to be honest with you because I think you have the right to know. You guys are my friends, as annoying as "we" can sometimes be to one and other respectively, I count you guys in high regard and wish to protect you from things. I want to protect you from all I can and it seems as though this drove a wedge between me and Jet.
Jet's departure, at least personally between he and I, wasn't very amicable. I'm still quite hurt about it actually and you guys deserve to know that these "wounds" have left quite an impression on me. Jet thought I was using my position in the guild to force my political agenda down your throats and whereas it may seem that way sometimes; the only thing I actually want is my guild members to feel safe and secure. As a Guild Captain, my role - no - my duty is to make sure that no matter who you are you feel safe. No matter your race, colour, religion or sexual orientation as long as you are nice to me and my friends you are welcome here. That has always been my way and that will always be the way I work.
I do not allow for prejudices to make their way into the guild unless RPC based because even though they are your creation: You, ultimately, are not your RPC. I have played Homophobic RPCs before in the past to somewhat comical effect through satire of the Homophobic and chauvinistic attitudes presented in modern day society. However, once those attitudes leak into OOC; once you actually begin blurring the line between acceptable and down right ridiculous: That's when we have a problem.
This is the problem I had with the Skype Chat Disaster. This is what I do not like. If this makes you feel uncomfortable; if you do not wish to be tolerant of me and my friends then you are free to leave. That is that. I cannot make you change your mind and I will not attempt to. I understand that it may make you feel uncomfortable in some situations but, all in all, we are adults and we have to get on with life.
As for Jet's characters...
Jet's characters may be applied for. Atrocitus will even have "The Butcher" as Jet was amazing enough to capture it before the event. Terra will also be free to another Legacy Character.
The Event will also continue on as normal.

Where are the Supports?
So I have noticed that things have stalled out here. Where are the support heroes at? Roxas has given the green light to allow you guys to get here a week ago, so why have you not gotten to Paris right now?
So as much as I hate to give time limits, I'm going to have to give a time limit: If Support Heroes do not start posting in the event by Wednesday, February 25th, then we will be forced to cancel it. A lot of crew put time and effort into this event, and to see all that work go to waste would be pretty lame to see. So let's get things moving so we can have an awesome event okay?

Where are the Moderators?
Recently, in the skype chat, I proposed it was maybe time to close All Along the Watchtower. No one was posting and the Mopderators weren't doing much to encourage people to post in terms of approving profiles or their general administrative duties. Without their support there is nothing I can do; especially considering that I have been taking time out of my free personal time to tell them that I am busy or that I am taking a step back from the guild or that I need help.
It is worrying how much it seems as though even after my chat to disband the guild and the blatant uproar of "No's" that what has been agreed between us as a team is still not taking form. Witty was right about what he was saying and a lot of people were determined to prove him wrong. They haven't and if this keeps going on then we're going to have an issue on our hands. The guild will have to be closed and I will concede that Tuff's No Man's Land is just what people want. They seem to be posting in there but not in Watchtower. What more evidence do I need?
If you do not believe this is true then let's make waves in getting this guild back up and running again.
I implore certain moderators to evaluate themselves and their position. If you do not want to stay a mod then say now otherwise you will be expected to make progress. You will be expected to do things. Starting with the sorting out of the approval forum.
So... Let's make Watchtower great again.

I think it's time to call time.
The event has been going on for a while now with little to no progress. I think it is time to call it a day in Paris and instead just allow the Female Legacies to finally get a hold of their powers. If you do not have your powers yet submit the new empowered version of your profile to the application forum and we will work to get it approved ASAP.
Sorry to be so forward and blunt but it's just not working.

Grogan has stepped down as a Moderator
Grogan has recently told me that he wants to step down as a Moderator. He doesn't want the responsibility of Modship and as such will be demoted accordingly. I would like to thank Grogan for his time and effort and hope that he will continue to serve/enjoy the guild as a loyal member.

The Master Time Lord has stepped up as a Moderator!
The Master Time Lord (whom I will now refer to as Jack from here on out for it is easier) has been a loyal member of AATW for a while and has always been passionate about helping out and trying their best. During the recent fiasco's Jack has really tried to stand up and be counted within the Mod team and has been frustrated with the lack of action from others. As such I want to reward Jack's efforts by promoting them to Vice Captain.
You deserve this Jack and I know you will be amazing at the job!

With No Man's Land starting up again, unfortunately we are going to have to say goodby to Tuffosaurous. He doesn't have time for two guilds but we wish him the best of luck in his new endeavor.

Mod Team Openings
We've just lost two of the Mod teams biggest contributors and unfortunately, they were both VCs. Jack has moved in to fill one thanks to their hard work and effort but this means we are still a VC down and will leave us in need of more Moderators in general. If you are interested in being a moderator, please PM me and we'll see what we can do.

Mod Team Opening One: REFLECTED PERSPECTIVE!
Reflected is a good guy and even though he is new, I think that his fresh perspective (see what I did there?) will be a helpful to moving the guild forward after the stall that we have seen. He will be trained appropriately and we are still looking for one or two more Moderators. So, if you're interested let me know.

Mod Team Opening Two: ACHIDANZA!
Red Skies at night are our delight as Achidanza, our resident graphic artist has joined the Mod Team! She is yet to RP but will possibly be able to once we wrap up the event and begin sorting out remedies to the current stall.
We have one Mod slot open after this and I would like to invite someone to audition. But you'll have to wait and see who in the next announcement! this is Achi's moment, I hope that we can work well together to make Watchtower what it once was.

Mod Team Openings: Invitations?
I would like to extend an invitation to two specific Watchtower Members to join the Mod team. Obviously, it is their choice and I want them to enjoy themselves as much as possible when it comes to being a part of the guild. So, do not feel pressured. It is your choice and it will always be your choice. These two members are:
Civil_Union, a dear friend of mine and a great and passionate RPer. I think he will be a great addition to the mod team. As well as, Sean Bito, Sean is just awesome and I think his knowledge of this guild having been around in it for so long could be nothing but helpful. I will quote you both below. Mod Team Opening Invitation: SEAN ACCEPTED!
A Huge thank you to Sean Bito for accepting the invite to become a Moderator. Sean has been a member of this guild since V1 and was once the Flash Legacy whom crashed in Ian's Dorm Room at college! They were some fun times but Sean also learnt a lot about the guild and its members during that time.
I hope that he will help us to understand what it will take to put this guild back on the map. Thanks again Sean!

Mod Team Openings: JOSH AND RAVEN! POWER COUPLE!!
I forgot to announce it but Watchtower now has it's very own power couple! Josh Starwind has been promoted to VC, he has been an integral part of the Watchtower Community for some time and as Superman has done some awesome stuff. Now it's time to see him in real action as a Senior Leader!
RavenRoseQueen, his wife, is also joining the Mod team under a trial basis whilst she helps out with projects that need coding. I hope she will stay with us though!
So move over SupermanxWonderWoman fans. Our RavenWind ship is here to kick a** and approve profiles!

Event End!
We have called time on the event. It isn't moving and it's not working. We'll go back to the drawing board to improve the next event in any way possible but, for now, we will be keeping activity inside the main forum.
With all that is going on at the moment, it will be helpful. I am once again sorry and as compensation when the New Character Slot System opens up, each person who POSTED in the event shall receive three [3] points towards their Character Slot Point Account.
