On March 27, 2016 at 12:01 am PDT, Gaia increased the entry fee for the Free Runway theme, which was Chocolate Bunnies, to 199 GC. Sure the fee amount was listed as 0 Gold, but users were still to spend 199 GC if they didn’t already have the item that was required, which was the paw skin [Animal] Chocolate Bunny Fur. This item can only be purchased using Gaia Cash, it had not listings at that time on the MP, so users had no recourse but to either purchase, borrow, or abstain from participation in a theme that says free, but really, wasn’t.

There are no words harsh enough in ANY language to describe what you have just done. The poor choice in theme and require item has insulted runway participants. We are disappointed in you Gaia. Shamed of you Gaia. To think we gave you the benefit of the doubt Gaia. You spat in our face Gaia. You put shameful things into our face Gaia. It was nice when we were all worried that our paws would be left out, but you required an item which, purchased directly from the site itself and not from fellow Gaians, can only be bought with Gaia cash (which of itself must be purchased using real world currencies or earned through sponsors of which both means may and can be limited by where a users resides in the world further limiting their participation).

Easter was Sunday. This was a theme for Monday. Easter was over Monday. You could have picked any other theme, with any other required item. You could have called it Spring Cleaning and required an item from the Convert-O-Matic event. Some of the event items are still in GoFusion making them more readily available than a cash only item.

Furthermore, the item you pick made entry into the free theme cost nearly QUADRUPLE the entry fee of the GC theme, which has far better rewards with a chance of possibly reimbursing users for their purchase.

I and many others understand that the items that may be required for some of the themes may and will vary, but what we don't understand is the rationale behind this particular choice for that particular runway.

You fudged up. Pun intended. You either acted very foolishly or deceitfully with us by your choice of required item.

Now then, the question I have for you is, should we expect to see more of these poor item requirement choices in the future requiring items purchasable only with GC which not all users readily have access to (especially in the free theme) and do you intend to apologize at all for what you have done?

You know how the Marketplace and Shops will state "You own this item.", when it is in your inventory?

Is it possible for this message to state just how many you own; similar to the inventory? Which stacks the items or informs how many you have upon donating/selling/trash etc.

Can we get a new shop that sells past RIGS and Chance Items? Because some items that are in the MP usually have no listings and those items are usually from past chance items and RIGS.

Are coupon rig items open for requesting re-release in the Rococo thread? Fiery Smarty Pants is practically non-existent even after being put in two different coupon rigs.

ok, so currently you can gift all kindsa things to people using GC, but not actually gift GC.

Can we make it so we can gift things that some players may not be able to buy, like the GC outfit slots?

My question: What is being done about tier exclusive rewards constantly being rereleased in item generators?

Everytime it is brought up, we are told that items just slip through the cracks. That would make sense if it happened once every couple generators, but it seems to happen almost every time a new one comes out.

I know there are a lot of tier exclusive items, but if you didn't have a system in place to ASSURE those items never get rereleased, why even bother saying they will be exclusive, or at the very least, why release tiers at such an alarming rate.

I feel like someone should go back and add a tag to all tier exclusive items labeling them as such, so it is easier to identify them when the item lists for chance items are being made up. This might be a pretty big undertaking because there are literally hundreds, if not thousands of tier exclusive items, but it would avoid any mistakes like this in the future.

When I hear people spending money buying 100+ RIGs to try and win one and end up failing, it's a little ridiculous.
I understand it is also THE pet of the RIG too, but please let more of us enjoy the new addition to LK when it's released.

sometimes when you buy a big ticket item, or buy a lot of CS items during a tier, it can be a pain to refresh the page between redeeming each level of the tier. could a "collect all" type button be considered? even being able to collect the whole tier once you finish it each time would be appreciated.

yes, that says what to do if you purchased the lotl love RIG with cash or gold, but not what to do if you received it as part of the tier.

I will preface the following question by stating I have not been personally affected by the A Lotl Joy glitch in any way, nor was I aware of it before the staff alert came out.

Now then, the question proper: Being of a naturally curious mind, and having never seen anything exactly like this happen on Gaia in my life, I'm interested to know what exactly can be done to rectify a situation in which any already existing copies of an item will never be able to be opened again?! This is fascinating and amusing to me and I want to know how (or if) such a thing can be fixed.

But I was wondering if you guys could make this knowledge more publicly noticeable?

Me once again with the same thing I posted about last week~

My question is this: Are Rococo and Mecha Neko ever going to get an update? Their last store updates were in January, and if you look at Mursaki's last announcement, she said she'd be pulling all the holiday items and such (I made a post in the Rococo thread several times over the last couple months) but now it's been five months and all those items are still in there.

Can we hope to see any updates to either of these lovely stores any time soon?

I noticed my post did get tipped in the last AtS, but the items are still in Mecha Neko.

In the recent RIG Tropical Paradisio there were silhouettes, both from the RIG itself and the Bundles afterward, that showed distinct poses from the Born from Blood item series (specifically the Scythe and Hair, which make up most of the Silhouetted Avatar), shown below.




However, no Born from Blood recolor was found or released in a Bundle, and no avatar using the items from the silhouette was in the announcement for Tropical Paradisio. My question is, Is there/was there meant to be a Born from Blood Recoolor in Tropical Paradisio, and if not what item was the silhouette meant to advertise? As someone who maintains an item list, this particular puzzle has perplexed me for the past few days, and I would greatly appreciate a detailed answer on the situation.

Hi Gaia staff! I was recently trying to use my plasma biomat donation visa card and realized it wasn't possible. :c

And frankly, this is the only form of credit card I have, so my question is, could you guys possibly make it possible for us to use GRIFOLS biomat cards to make Gaia cash purchases?
