She paused, trying to work her way through that then finally shook her head. "You never listen to yourself, do you? Or maybe you do. Are you so in love with the sound of your own voice that you don't bother paying attention to what you say?"

Akis shook her head slightly. Her head was starting to throb. This guy was NOT amusing anymore. "I'm leaving," she decided, turning and swimming back toward the shore.

He watched her go, trying to remind himself that he had wanted her to do exactly that. That he needed her to leave, and as soon as possible. Because her interest in his ship...
Still. It was a shame to see a fine filly like that vanish from his life without having had some fun with her. Still, there were plenty of other mares in the mare.
After she left the water, he turned and moved off himself. He wanted the ship as far from the shore as possible before he stopped to rest. He wanted to make sure she could never lay her hooves on his beloved vessel. Once he was sure that ship was safe, he would swim the furthest oceans in search of a more palatable mare to spend a quiet night with under the lee of the hull.
Just so long as she never got near the boat again. Never. Again.
