Shun nodded in agreement with Sammy. "He considers you to be disposable. Why bother telling you anything?" he said flatly to 'H'. She certainly wasn't the whip wielding H both he and Sammy were familiar with. "I was telling them to back off. That one over there was running his mouth, speaking along the lines of 'kill us all'," he scoffed before rolling his shoulders again, "Is she really? She's certainly aided us more than the hunters ever did."It was for her own agenda for certain. He didn't completely trust Medea and he had a bad feeling about her role in all of this. but he could never deny the fact that the students would have never been able to stage that rescue operation without her aid... even if it did nearly get them all killed. Recalling that specific mission and the events that followed after regarding Candace and Mitsu put a bitter taste in his mouth.

Edel grew increasingly unsettled as more hunters began to shuffle in. Rookies or not, they were now outnumbered and at a great disadvantage.
The last person the frost demon wanted to see here was that crazy pink haired hunter they had met in the desert - Chel, or whatever her name was. They may have been friendly acquaintances in Wonderland, but reality was very, very different.
It caught her off guard when Chel decided to declare them her friends though. The ghoul is crazy, she thought to herself, staring at the hunter in disturbed bewilderment. Edel was starting to get very agitated that Chel had decided to announce her abilities to the rest of the hunters, and was starting to doubt if she was serious about remaining friendly.
More hunters were arriving, as were the horsemen. Edel was not pleased by either of their company. A particularly loud-mouthed hunter had began talking the same old smack again. About how they were just things, freaks, and meant to be eliminated. Edel found it extremely draining to form one of her ice daggers, which she would gladly have it sent through his throat should he begin to behave with hostility.
The frost demon found it reassuring to find that Shun and that horsewoman of war shared similar sentiments. Edel kept her eyes on the hunters as the tension in the room escalated. She remembered why she hated them so much now...
Edel threw an annoyed expression at Sammy, though she would concede to the zombie's point about any hostility being an invitation for Caelius to retaliate. The last thing they needed now was for the death division leader to show up - he would certainly overpower the rest of them.
The ghoul let out an unhappy tsk as negotiations led to information being shared. Diplomacy was to be offered to those who were trustworthy, not some mindless sheep that some of these rookie hunters were. Edel shot a glance at Shun, as if to tell him to stop dealing with them. If there was any hunter she'd like to talk to it would be those with some actual power over their own choices. And everyone else /lazy 5ver

For a moment, Shaheen had been worried. Words, so many words being thrown around, back and forth, back and forth, hunters and students working together to figure out what was going on. And one horseman, one who Shaheen had never seen before, didn't know, and couldn't trust, though she once felt that she could trust any of the clans. After all, had they not all gone through the same horrors? Were they not meant to now be unified under one banner, the lost clans, working to rebuild, to regain what was lost, to fight back for their power? Words, words, words. Words in her head, the whispers that wouldn't stop, that seemed worse at times and then better, that might have destroyed her by now if it had not been for Medea...No, Death first. He had given Shikoba the tool to save her the first time. Medea had come next, with a simpler method, one less painful, a payment for their service... Glowing eyes lifted away from Iounn, her ill ease lifting when she saw that the other woman would not say any more then she had. Teeth gritted, she listened. Did they know what was coming? Did they even have a hint? "No." She spoke up, eyes moving towards the zombie girl that spoke of Medea. "No, you do not." Eyes traveled back to the death horseman. Did she feel bad for snapping on her? Not really. Not with so much at stake.

Golden eyes slid to Shun. "So far, she has," Hanna replied. Hm, Hanna needed a new approach. If only the elder horseman had not been here... Eye might have made conversation at least. There was a huge part of her that wished she could just pull up a chair, share some coffee, and shoot the s**t about day-to-day for the Halloweeners and horsemen. Sure, she could read reports to glean the same facts, but it felt more important coming directly from the creature. Hanna was not, per se, disgusted by the strange things all around her. She was fascinated. It was like finally getting to meet the boogeyman you were sure was lurking under your bed as a child after all those years. The Death Hunter knew all these things about Caelius. His reputation always seemed to precede him. Hanna more or less ignored the comments the others were making. He was her leader. She didn't harbor the distaste for him that other Hunters seemed to, but she also had had limited interactions with him. So Hanna shifted her weight casually to her other side, brushing Jack accidentally and said calmly, "Medea ran into the tower against Charon and wants to destroy the world, which helps no one, not one of us -- and now, she is nowhere to mess with, even if any of us wanted to. None of you even know where she is." It was a shot in the dark. Hanna rolled her eyes.

Eye sat down to think, who was right Medea or Charon, Charon hadn't wanted any of them to go into the tower in the first place, and if Medea hadn't rushed in it was likely none of them would have gone in at all. Eye pondered if her father's voice was right, perhaps she was a failure as a horseman, but Eye really did want to help her people, she just didn't want to go it by fighting. Her being was geared towards aiding others, not fighting herself. So her fighting skills were rather lacking. She sighed again, wishing she had her workshop so she could start on a new piece and relax. Instead she pulled out some semi precious stones and started to turn them about in her hand, making a soft clicking noise. It wasn't any wonder no one knew her, she normal kept herself shut away from others. "That about sums it up" Eye muttered softly

You know nothing, Jon Snow
Shaheen turned towards the yappy hunter who kept trying to flush out their secrets.
She knew nothing.
A smile spread across Shaheen's face when the death horseman said her piece as well.
She knew nothing either.
The grin turned into something vicious. Nobody knew why they were here. Nobody knew the end game.
Except us. We know, don't we?
Perfect.

She gave Evan a hard look and VERY QUIETLY, in a way only for Evan, said, "If you attack them, I will fight you. The same I would do to protect you." The same lengths she would go to protect any friend. "If they fight back, I'll fight you both. I don't want any of my friends hurt. It's your choice Evan. Be a d**k and get everyone in this room killed, or just back off for a second. Don't make me lose you."
With that, Chel slid away from the fight, a place she didn't like to be if she didn't like being. She didn't want to fight with Evan. She left, instead, to Jack's side, wherein a girl she didn't know stood. "Who's your friend?" she asked hurriedly, trying to join their conversation and leave her old one behind. "Sorry- should introduce myself first, yeah? I'm Chel."

There seemed to be just the one room left, a fact for which Taima was thankful. However, that room appeared to be already occupied by classmates, Horsemen and Hunters. From the looks of things--the drawn weapons, the obvious hostility--the party was just beginning. Exciting, to be sure, but where was the portal home the reaper from the Agency had been talking about? Quote: im going to bed but feel free to interact with taima and ill see it in the morning

"Aided, or pulled into the loop?" Jack asked the one-eyed reaper calmly. "I'm afraid I don't know the extent of your relationship." Dry as it was, perhaps Hanna's line of questioning would get them something; he didn't know enough about the politics of horsemen in Halloween to really comment otherwise and would leave it to her to hopefully press in the right spots. His job was about consolidating information, not gathering it it. He wasn't going to bother lyinig about what he didn't know in this case.
The light brush had him instinctively and unconsciously leaning away, hands pocketing briefly. Good, there were still bandages there. Just in case. But he was quite interested to know how Hanna previously met the younger horseman. He would add that to the list of inevitable questions he would be asking several people once they finished this mission.
Still, knowing that nobody knew why they were there was a great place to start, in a small stroke of irony. He eyed the winged horseman's predatory grin and remained stoic, though he was growing keenly aware that without his weapon, the only good thing he'd have in a straight up fist fight was his shield. Always had to have a handicap, huh. He wanted to ask the death horseman a few more questions, but he wondered if it was wise to press his luck with the elder there. Hrm.
"What stones do you have there?" It was harmless enough.
He then turned to the ice demon Chel had half-introduced, keeping things cordial for now. "So you knew Craft, eh?" Jack asked conversationally, indicating with his head towards the pink-haired trainee. "Was she as annoying in game as she is here? Just out of curiosity, of course." He glanced at the aforementioned Sun who had taken up residence, shoulders tensing as he took a step back to give himself more space from the pair.
"What, you won't give me names but I must?" he asked, feeling like giving Chel a hard time for her display of idiocy back there.

Shun caught Edel's gaze and merely shrugged in turn. He had nothing more to say to the hunters anyway. And such was shown as he remained silent while the one hunter went on and tried to deduce things. Then again, he didn't have to say anything as the one Death horsemen gave the answer.
Now this was a curiosity for him. If anything the horsemen should be rallying under Medea's banner, he figured. Giving information to an enemy like this could cause whatever her plans to be to crumble to dust. And yet this one spoke. He recalled her mentioning that Medea had come here against Charon's wishes. That in itself was something to consider.
He wanted to ask. But it would inevitably give the hunters more intel right now as well, when he was certain they had nothing more to give in turn. Not on this situation, at least.
While he was trying to piece things together, he caught that smile upon the war horsemen's face. It was a sort of vicious grin. She knew something. And most likely she wasn't going to say anything. The reaper's good eye narrowed as he stared her down. He definitely did not have a good feeling about Medea's intentions, now.

Eye sighed again as she played with her stones, she heard the hunter or reaper or whatever ask her what stones she was playing with, Eye muttered "Just quarts and obsidian nothing special, what I wouldn't give for my workshop about now:" Eye grumbled, it occurred to her could she condemn an entire group of human hunters, they're life span was short wasn't it? This one wasn't the one who killed her father was her? Eye knew death she was raised with death, death came when it came, it didn't care if you were young or old, rich or poor. Perhaps Death himself had deemed that there people would fall so they could rise again better in the future who was Eye to say, she was merely a jewelcrafter.

Edel caught notice of Shun's reaction towards the horsewoman, putting together the other parts of the conversation she had ignored whilst she had focused on the hunters. The frost demon wasn't too familiar with Medea or the other name mentioned, though it did appear that the horsemen were not resolutely united as of this moment. The ghoul decided she would have to confer with the reaper later, having not been up to date with many of the ongoings in the year she had been away.
Edel eyed Jack warily, glancing over at Chel before returning her gaze to him. "Ask her yourself." she deadpanned, clearly displaying her lack of intent to continue the conversation. She'd admit that the pink-haired hunter had been very helpful during the time at Wonderland, though she didn't feel the need to share that with anyone. Particularly not with someone who seemed as though he'd annoy the ghoul with her answer. chimarii IS THIS THE BEGINNING OF A BEAUTIFUL FRIENDSHIP?*~*~*

Wrath, an ashen soldier of Death, burst into the hallway and strode his 6'7", broad shouldered and heavily muscled self on over to where it appeared the bulk of everyone had gathered. .....This was not the top of the tower. Why was everyone just standing around? Eyes lined in charcoal narrowed at all of the white coats, took in the few gathered students, and ultimately fell to the only two clansmen he could see, one of which was sitting on the floor, the other was giving everyone crazy eyes and an even crazier looking smile. Taking a deep breath which only made him straighten his shoulders further and stick out his chest more, Wrath stopped only when he stood by the woman from war and the woman from his own clan, death, arms crossing over his chest. He then proceeded to give everyone who looked his way the best : | face he could manage. He was not overly impressed with what he was seeing, and he only just arrived.

Lock was confused as to who these people were, but he also didn't like being called insulting names.
So he just kind of looked to Shun and summoned a few more shadowy blobs, just in case. He (sort of) had your back guys.

Finn finally made it, quite shockingly, though he was a little bit late to the party. He could tell as he strolled down the hallway that tensions were running rather high, and an eyebrow was raised as a quick scan of the room gave him whatever information that he immediately needed to know. Horsemen=bad. Halloween kids=could go either way. Hunters=Probably best to stick with them (though he had his difficulty swallowing that particular pill). Of course, it was easy for him to spot familiar hair in the crowd, and he made a beeline towards where Jack and Chel stood together, with Hanna on the other side. Leaning towards Chel, he whispered, none too quietly. "What the ******** is going on in here, jumpsuit?"
