Tavi as always he wasn't really sure how he ended up in the middle of things, he just did. So here he was again among the bustling and hustling of something or other and blinking around in excitement. He did remember coming to the faint call of help, and the fog and a few other pieces but none of them made sense and he wasn't the type to dwell. All would come to light when ready, and with that mindset he jumped at the chance to help as he was shoved into intern work. "Ye ye! Igroi!" And he would get right on it, zooming off he went to the first task.
______________________________________________________________

Zaire typically didn't make it a concern to help, much less walk into such dangerous looking settings. When his vision shifted, he nearly lost footing though the bigger loss was the one he was strangely feeling for no apparent reason. Gathering barring the boil ventured forward and into the out of place looking building. Reapers. Everywhere there were reapers, all different kinds running to and fro but each dressed sharply.

Zaire got tired just watching them so when he was ushered along and labeled an intern all the boil could manage was a groan. This wasn't what he had in mind when his legs had first started walking but the again, he didn't really have a plan when that had started either. Oh well. Looking over the list pushed into his hands he yawned, thinking maybe instead he could just find a place to sleep. Though that didn't happen either considering he decided to move while reading and ended up bumping into a, surprise, reaper though this one was a ghoul and not dressed as sharply. The Mahamba frowned for a moment, "sorry....." then a glance was spared to the ghoul that was seemingly with her. She was a cutie, Zaire's frown turned at the corners into a small smile. "...Either of you know how to make coffee...?" The lazy question was backed up with a greeting, "..I'm Zaire.."

Welp, Kenta thought as he looked around. I'm lost.. again. He'd gone out and tried to explore some of the more ... hidden parts of the school. And had somehow, he couldn't figure it out, gotten to this rather desolate looking place with it's interesting chasm and building that looked like it should have been in the town proper. You'd think a werewolf would be able to track his own tracks, Kenta thought with a sigh. But no... apparently I can't. Next time I'll bring along something that has a scent and just leave ascent trail...

The building was familiar, like he knew it from somewhere, but what ever it was: it belonged tohis life as a werewolf and was lost to him.

Walking into the building he looked around and raised an eyebrow. Boy do I feel out of place! He thought with a chuckle; all around him reapers and Grimms sat or walked dressed in business attire. Kenta in his loose pants and vest, bare foot and looking like he should be exercising, stood out like a sore thumb. They all were busy except one guy: the one at the end of the hallway who looked rather bored as he poured over a scroll. I'll go ask him if he can give me some directions, Kenta thought as he sidled through the crowd.

But before he could do anything, the reaper seemed to misunderstand just why he was here. Intern? Do I look like a reaper intern? He groused to himself as the portly demon ushered him away, handed him a list then went poof.

"Coffee? I'm supposed to make coffee?" He asked the air around him. He didn't even drink the stuff! But.,. how hard could it be? And besides, his single eye gleamed at the thought, he could make it... interesting coffee, give a little fun to these busy busy people who couldn't even bother to stop and let him ask for directions.

Barth had been minding his own business, which is to say, completely avoiding both Zar and Calder. It was true they were both dangerous, that was the point. Calder was, as always, steadfastly loyal. But tragically on the physically taxing side, and Barth was beginning to reconsider the wisdom whole...relations. Concept. He had thought he could work it out, in his usual eventual way, but things just seemed to get further and further in the wrong direction. Lust, as far as the sins went, was respectable. It was not his area of expertise. It was always causing a lot of unresolvable trouble. So, maybe, if he let them both down very kindly, then...

Then he would probably meet with a violent end.

In any case, the business-minding had become unminded when he (after a great amount of effort- getting up, a long trek over, managing handle-turning with a very long set of claws, actually pulling) opened the door to Christof's bathroom and found himself very suddenly in the Haunted House. After a few very sluggish steps backwards on the creaky, grey, and fog-soaked boards, the floor upturned into a giant slide and spat him out somewhere else entirely. He could hear the bustle of voices, and groans of confusion from who knows how many other housenapped souls.

"Christof?" Barth asked, in the vain hope that someone would roll him off whatever uncomfortable thing he had been heaped over.

"Mmph!" The thing protested.

"Err, beg pardon." Barth would have rolled off, it was just- difficult. "I'm very sorry, err, if you could just, if you would prop me up a bit, I'd be very grateful."

There was a lot more wriggling, and then someone very small and slight did manage to lift him. "You're - heavy," the voice complained, panting as it (with surprising obedience) leaned him up against a wall. They regarded each other for a moment. The figure had a young face, with careful brown clothes and a coat that was too large for him.

"I know you," Barth said, slowly. "Don't I?"

"Do you?" He asked.

He was difficult to recognize, but Barth had a thing about names. And he had set up a small stand next to Barth's election booth. It was a long time ago. "Pickles?" Barth tried.

"Pickworth," he corrected, letting Barth down and withdrawing to look anxiously at the office. "Where are we?"

Barth brushed his own coat off, absorbing exactly what he had been gotten into. Cubicles. Suits. Paperwork. ...Oh no.

Calder was walking, two hooves, slowly through the woods. When he grew restless, moving was the only thing that left him feel at ease. He was walking towards a river, hoping a roll in the mud would help him clear his head, but just as he turned a corner, his hooves clacked on aged wood.

He heard whispering that wouldn’t let up, and his ears twitched with a sound he couldn’t hold onto that it itched inside his lobes. He stood in the Haunted House, wondering why it had appeared here. Calder hadn’t been in the old building in a long time, and didn’t visit while other students went to fight. Maybe he should be here considering how vicious he felt at times. How pent up. Maybe it was answering his inner call.

But just as soon as he walked down the hallway, it vanished around his hooves, boards pulling away and splintering into nothing until his rump hit sand. Sand. DRY SAND!

The very sensation made his skin crawl and he stood up, dusting himself off and looking around. It was horrible. Dry, endless sea of nothing but SAND. His hair was already turning dry and he felt his throat tighten. He couldn’t kid himself that this was just a very big beach. This was nothing. No water for miles on end.

When he spotted the little building, he raced inside in a panic and in his haste, tripped over a small red object. Tumbling, he fell flat on his face before he got up to see what was tangled around his legs.

“Oh no! I killed a scarling!” He cried, reaching over to pick up the red imp and stare at him. Poor boil. It barely looked fresh from its pumpkin.

He petted it, holding it close. “I’m so sorry, little colt. I wasn’t looking. Oh dear. Where is your mother?!” He looked around and found a mess of students all around and a lot of official types. It was almost as bad as the desert as Calder was just as much out of place.

“Hey! Let me go you….” TG paused. Hey there. It was some ghouly in a skirt. A very…flat ghouly from what TG could feel of it’s chest. Ugh,and a monster form what he saw of the ears.

“Oh Jack! You’re alive!” Calder cried out, clutching the boil to his chest as he got up and looked around for anyone that resembled a red-colored demon. Demon because of those….glorious….large….

“OMG You are so cute!” Calder cried, touching a horn and imaging what the parents must look like. TG was left turning all shades of purple at someone just outright reaching for his horn.

Just as he did, he noticed a figure slouching against the wall and brightened. “BARTH!!” He cried, racing over and holding the lost scarling in his arms. “What are you doing here?”

Lou had been told to expand his palette with all the adventures he could stand to have. To fill his days with new experiences and new people, and to leave control in the direction of the blowing winds. Only then, with all the vibrant stimuli of memories, could he consider his myriad of reactions and reacquaint himself with who he really was.

You know, all that romantic slice of life bullshit that the other students went through.

The faint call of the house was enough to attract him, the very sensation new and exciting. "Well hello. What have we here?" Hands in his pockets, the boil trotted through the wasteland with spiral eyes full of wonder, like a kid in a candy store. Hands in his pockets, he whistled a cheerful little tune to combat the utter feeling of loss the place left him with.

Oh, what was this? A building out in the middle of nowhere? He supposed that meant this was now somewhere. No hesitation as he marched himself through the open door, admiring all the hustle and bustle as if it was a Christmastival light show. Ooooo, that one guy had a big piece of paper. He must've been important. "Nope. No help for me." Lou responded confidently, though it didn't seem to matter. He was lead away nonetheless.

Lou took long strides behind mumbles the pencil pusher as he explained the situation. Paid for his efforts, huh? An honest days work? That was certainly a new experience. Maybe he could buy his ghoulfriend something nice with the dough. "Alright s-s-stuttering Stanley, you can count on me." Coffee, reports, cleaning. Sure, piece of cake.

Zar was of course, in his natural form as he'd taken to being of late. It was a necessity, he assumed that the only way to get in any sort of control of his instincts was to practice, practice, practice until it wasn't quite such a shock to the system. He'd been out for a jog himself, though sticking far closer to the paths than he had when he'd gone out for a wander with Calder. He'd closed his eyes for just a moment, enjoying the breeze in his mane when he'd gone from running on dirt to the clop of hooves on wooden flooring. He stopped dead, realizing with a heavy dread that he'd somehow wandered straight into the haunted house. His immediate concern rapidly became getting out before he ran into anything hostile, picking up his pace his tail slithered behind him in the dust, it was difficult to find his bearings -

And then he was in the desert. Well. It was certainly a place to be. He just stopped for a few moments, fully expecting this scene too to fade away and leave something else in it's place. It did not. Eventually, tired of waiting he wandered inside what appeared to be a town hall.

What he saw inside was more terrifying than any haunted house or nightmarish wasteland. Inside there was paperwork. And a demanding reaper telling him what to do, forcing him to stay there, telling him to make coffee. He tried to sneak away from the crowd of people being temporary recruited as interns and instead found himself not far from Calder, Barth and was that... Pickles? He slunk close to the ground and considered if approaching was even a good idea. After all, Barth had run away last time, which was - all considered - a pretty surefire sign someone didn't want to deal with you. It made sense though, he already had a monster, he didn't need some fake monster demon disaster messing up his things and complicating his life. And Zar didn't need paperwork back in his, even the smell of paper in the place was making him feel sick to his stomach. Even the sight of Pickworth who normally he'd have been privately glad to run into here in this place made him anxious and afraid. He'd let everyone down and he'd let them down again, they'd think he'd know what he was doing here it was his specialty right?

Except it wasn't anymore.

He hunkered down and slunk his tail around him like a snake's coils and made a valiant attempt to pretend he wasn't there which might have been more successful if he wasn't a bristling array of mane and horns.

The haunted house.

Alexander had told himself he wouldn't go searching for it anymore. It was a dangerous place, too dangerous, and perhaps even more so for him. The only reason he had ever sought out the house in the past had been to confront hunters, and those days were ones that he now wanted to put behind him. He had to move on, needed to, for his own good, for the sake of having any kind of future, of making his way in the world outside of school.....

But here it was, that dark building looming out of the foggy tendrils that surrounded it, tendrils that rapidly began to thicken even as he watched, eyes widening, unbeating heart plummeting in dismay as something called to him.

He was needed.

But he didn't want to go. He didn't want any part of this anymore. He just wanted....

Everything became obscured by the fog, even as he uttered a quiet. "No. Please no..."

And then it cleared, and a desert was what he found himself standing in. An eerie place that gave him a horrid feeling, and as he looked around, he saw others that he didn't realize had been there before. Other students, making their way to a building that looked suspiciously like the Halloween Town Hall.....

Making his way towards it at his usual shuffling gait, scuffling up the sand in his wake, the zomboil made his way to the building, and inside.

He frowned at what he found within, skeletal fingers reaching up to run through his hair. What in the name of Jack Skellington was going on here?

All became...somewhat more clear. Interns. Cleaning up. Coffee.

Really?

"Right. Of course." Alexander frowned yet more, learning not to question these strange things anymore, coming to just sort of accept that this sort of thing happened quite often while attending Amityville.

"Jacking hell." He muttered to himself, fingers raking through black and white hair again as a paper was shoved into his free hand, his eyes roaming over the list.

Shaking his head, his mop of unruly hair now flopping around his face, he shuffled away to get to work.

Lock was entirely unsure of why he was here or what the ******** this desert was, but if he knew one thing it was that if something was up, Shun was probably there somewhere. He would know what to do.

So Lock set out into the sand and began looking for Shun in the most applicable place, which was the only building in the area. Inside he found a strange office-like setting, and he was whisked into an internship. Okay then.

Yup.

The clans mark on Poke's palm had always been a source of irritation, ever since she had gotten the jacking thing. It had not faded with time nor had it shown itself to do anything other then draw her attention whenever she thought of it. It's purpose was still a mystery although she was sure it would not bode well for her. So when she felt the sudden pull, she jumped to her feet and looked at the mark for the hundredth time. It hadn't changed, but she was sure she could feel it burning. It wanted her to go somewhere. Something bad was going to ******** allowed the intense pulling to guide her movements, and wasn't too surprised when it dragged her to the haunted house. But soon enough the house itself changed, either that or it had teleported her somewhere else. Which ended up being a desert.

"Double ********." She swore as she stood there, gazing at the strange pillars, the caverns, and above all the hot dry sand that signaled to her that it was jacking hot and of course, dry and devoid of any water.

Thankfully however there appeared to be a out of place halloween building, which she quickly made a beeline too. Inside was a assortment of reapers and the like running a muck and throwing papers everywhere. There was a official looking one at the end, whom directed a wimpy demon to instruct her on what she should be doing.

Oh...great, she was the errand dragon now. swell.

Sludge was still confused as to what was going on. He had thought he heard a command from his queen, a telepathic call for assistance, but he soon realized it was a different call from that of the queen. He couldn't place the origins, but he felt compelled to act out it's order. He followed the whispered voices until he reached another strange structure, grey and looking as it it would fall apart. This place soon changed again, leaving the xenomorph hissing in displeasure at the sudden blast of heat he felt form the desert. Now he had absolutely no idea where he was.

He could see a building close by, and so crawled/walked towards it. By now he had figured out at least how to walk on his two legs, but it was preferred to be close to the ground at times.

Once inside, he was bombarded with paper, angry calls, and someone telling he had to go do things like clean up paper and brew coffee.

....What was coffee?

The pair stopped in their tracks, their conversation cutting short as Edel approached. They exchanged glances. The demon was the first to speak as the reaper pulled out a cell phone and began to dial a number.

"What do you mean by... unfriendlies specifically?" The demon asked slowly. "If you haven't noticed, we are up to our as-astronomically fabulous horns in work right now so if this is another prank..."

"Hunters," her voice was kept low, "And the horsemen sir. There have been more than one sightings of them."

The ghoul paused, trying to recount any important information about their encounters. "The former seem to have been gathered for a rather urgent operation," she continued, recalling certain complaints. The frost demon straightened up, nodding at the demon.

"Your orders, sir?"

Xyra wasn't at all sure what she was going to do about this list. Truth, she didn't want to do anything about it. With a small pout, she glance around before she found a young boil with rather dark blue hair. Her gold eyes locked onto him as she slowly makes her way towards him, not at all worried about the two others with him. Slipping her arms around him neck, she grins before she slips to his side "Hi...um...would you like to help me out...I haven't a clue as to what this is all about." she lifts her hand to brush the ends of his hair "And I would be thrilled to have the company of a handsome boil as yourself."

He was cute, and she figured she might as well enjoy the company of a cute boil if she was going to be put to work.

Sin moved away from her coffee brewing duties and tried to reign in her desire to hit someone. Were creeple always like that? Was everyone in a hurry and rude because of it? She could recall her tone when she ordered coffee and realized with a sense of chagrin that she was probably just as rude if not worse when someone was slow with her order. For so long she'd stood on the other side being the one served that the experience had been enlightening and somewhat humbling. She didn't like it, but it had taught her something about how to treat others, then again she'd learned plenty of life lessons and despite her efforts not all had made a lasting impression on her attitude and behavior.

The ghoul tossed her hair back and walked along down the hall blinking as she realized there were plenty of other interns, her fellow students. She was pleased to even recognize a few faces and walked over towards them glad to take a break from things for a moment.

She paused suddenly as she overheard something about unfriendlies and a ghoul reporting something about hunters in a low voice. Sin almost stopped to ask her to repeat herself but then she decided she didn't want to know. No, she was not going to be dragged into danger, she was going to brew coffee until someone came and gave her a portal back to Amity so she could pretend nothing strange had happened.

Moving with a newfound speed she only glanced over briefly to give Edel a glower, it wasn't personal she just hated to hear anything about hunters anywhere.

She paused by Zar and looked at him carefully a long moment her gaze appraising and then admiring by turn.

"Zar right? It's Sin, we had a class together...it's lovely seeing you again."

Too bad the situation wasn't a better one, that boil was drop dead gorgeous in his natural form. She envied his ability to look so terrifying but it would come with time she hoped. She gave him a little wave as she hurried towards the more familiar faces of Calder and TG.

Of course she was mildly perplexed as to why Calder was carrying TG off like a scareling. Then Calder was hurrying off and a crowd of people walked by blocking her way to them.

"Calder! TG!" She gave a wave and then as she was about to follow after them to ask them if they knew what was going on she was grabbed by a shoulder spike and a bunch of scrolls were thrust into her arms.

"Get to it intern we need these delivered now!"

Sin blinked and was being ushered out into the desert to make a delivery, jack damn it.

The reaper grinned, cocking her head beneath her hood. She wasn't that much taller than the young looking zombie, but she liked the moment of height. It was inevitable that her eyes wandered to the ghoul's notebook, but she wasn't able to read anything before the pages were snapped shut. Ooo, secrets? Everyone had them. Writing them down was just a great way to have them get discovered faster. Made people like her curious about what was hidden.

The way the ghoul spoke was even more so interesting, and she paused slightly to absorb what was being... shared. Off into danger? Again? Speaking from experience. Her eyes danced around the gathering of uptight reapers in suits and swallowed by paper. "If this is a dream of yours, you have a very chaotic mind," she mused with a smirk, entertaining the concept with glee. This ghoul had a few stories buried in her bones.

When the name and hand were offered, she nodded her head and took the hand with her own gloved one, burn scars just peeking out from under her bandages. "Kailey, and this is Cras." The crow in turn bowed his head to Hamika.

"Pardon my intrusion, Hamika. Would you care elaborating on that 'into danger, yet again' comment you'd made?" The crow beat her to the punch, and he stayed somewhat leaning down, all the better to look at the ghoul in question. Not that Kailey did anything to stop him. She valued his evaluations far better than even her own at times.

But it was Cras who noticed movement before her, leaping off her shoulder with a quick caw!--just before a body bumped into hers. Stiffening, she turned quickly to keep her back from both the unknown and Hamika, hopping back a few steps on the bare balls of her feet as her feather half-skirt swayed around her legs. A playful smile winked into place on her lips, and she peered at the scaly boil with a mask of curiosity. Inwardly, she wasn't particularly pleased Cras had been so late on that warning. The crow in question stayed on the wing, circling lazily as he took in the sights around them. "No biggie," she laughed to the boil. "Just startled me a little~" A bit more than a little, but moving on.

His question was directed to both, but Kailey shrugged. "Sorta. Bit more old fashion than's probably best around here." He did remind her of the list of assignments and her lips pursed. "Three heads are better than one on this?"

When he gave his name, her mouth popped open--"Good desert blistering day to you, Zaire~"--and clicked it close, eyeing her familiar. "I am Cras. The feathered one who only wishes the ink tattoos on her arms were real, is Kailey." Cras did dip a little lower towards Hamika after he brushed his reaper partner with a wing, before rising back up to continue his minor flight. The reaper snorted. She hadn't been rude in her introduction of him, so what gave?
